Kyūbinokitsune Shinobi

Orochimaru wanted to know about that, as well as try to create the perfect host body, and when he heard the roar of the nine-tails twelve years ago, he took his opportunity and managed to get a sample of the nine-tail's DNA and chakra, a handful of hair or a blood sample would have been enough for what he had planned.

It didn't take long for him to find a host to mother the experiment. The woman was in her early twenties late teens, about three months pregnant, with a single child. Not to mention a proud member of the Uchiha clan.

The woman was scared beyond what her mind was actually able to handle, as Orochimaru injected her pregnant belly with the serum, her fetus absorbing the chakra filled DNA into its own body. Orochimaru continued to do these injections three times a day for the next six months, until the woman actually managed to escape Orochimaru's base, screaming for help as she ran through the woods.

Orochimaru had ensured her there was no escape, and for a moment she believed he was right, until she heard a slam on the ground. She turned to see a small crater with a blonde woman jumping out and landing in front of her, her back towards her. In the crater, was her attacker, flat on his belly before a new form slithered from his mouth, leaving the old one dead where it stood.

"I see you heard her call for help Tsunade." Orochimaru smiled.

"I heard it, searching for you." Tsunade exclaimed. "You're a wanted man Orochimaru."

"I'm just wanting to learn all jutsu, and become the strongest there ever was. The leaf village will be mine someday." Orochimaru exclaimed smiling wickedly.

"That includes kidnapping an innocent young woman heavy with child?" Tsunade asked.

"Well, I have to have the right body for it, and the child within shall make an excellent host once it grows and enhances it power I kept injecting into her uterus."

"You're a sick man Orochimaru, does your insanity know no bounds?" Jiraiya asked coming to the woman's aid. "Tsunade her contractions are on top of each other."

"Get her out of here." Tsunade exclaimed.

"She's not going anywhere." Orochimaru shouted running for them.

Tsunade jumped in front of Orochimaru and sent him flying towards a tree with a left hook.

This attack gave Tsunade and Jiraiya as well as the Uchiha in labor, a chance to flee from Orochimaru before he could recover and run after them.

"Tsunade, what about Orochimaru?" Jiraiya asked with the Uchiha on his back.

"We'll tell Lord Third the truth, the priority of the mission changed, and required our immediate attention." Tsunade explained.

"Hey, I'm here, what happened?" A red head woman exclaimed appearing next to them.

"We ran into Orochimaru, but we had to change priority." Jiraiya explained.

"It's coming." The Uchiha woman shouted in pain.

The team of three found a hollowed out tree, and made camp there, two helped the woman deliver her baby, while the third kept a look out for any enemy ninja, or Orochimaru. The delivery process didn't last long. But due to some difficulties, the young Uchiha woman lost a lot of blood, and died holding her first and only born son.

"What are we going to do?" Tsunade questioned holding the crying child.

"Give him here." Kushina exclaimed removing her vest.

"Kushina what are you doing?" Jiraiya asked blushing slightly.

"I haven't taken Naruto off breastmilk yet, I have plenty to spare right now, since Lord Third agreed to watch over him until we return." Kushina explained taking the newborn into her arms. "Give me a minute."

Kushina grabbed her vest and went to the far corner of the tree leaving Jiraiya and Tsunade to talk.

"What are we going to do? With what Orochimaru said, and possibly did, I don't know if the Uchiha's are even willing to take the child back." Jiraiya exclaimed.

"That and we know who the mother is. Meaning we know who is father is as well. That boy's father was K.I.A, had no parents of his own, and this woman's parents gutted themselves, thinking that she ran away because of their abuse, and the none support they had for her when they found out she was pregnant." Tsunade explained.

"So he's orphaned now?" Jiraiya asked.

"I'm afraid so." Tsunade exclaimed.

"Then what are we going to do with him? We can't exactly leave him with the other Uchiha's now. At least not until we figure out what Orochimaru did to him and his mother."

"I'll take him in." Kushina exclaimed sitting back next to them.

"What, Kushina, you already have Naruto to look after." Jiraiya stated. "It'll be impossible to take care of two infants."

"I don't think there's a choice in the matter. Look at him closely." Kushina said holding the now sleeping infant forward to get a closer look at his face.

Tsunade and Jiraiya looked at the child and their eyes widened in shock.

"His hair, it's black with red bangs." Jiraiya exclaimed.

"The same shade of red as the nine-tails chakra." Kushina exclaimed. "His cheeks have the same markings as Naruto's, only darker. I know exactly what Orochimaru did. When the nine-tails attacked on the night Naruto was born, Orochimaru took the opportunity to gather as much chakra or DNA from the tailed beast, and injected it into the uterus of the young woman for six months. The fetus began absorbing the chakra thinking it was from it was from his mother."

"You figured that out by guessing?" Jiraiya asked.

"It actually makes sense. In the womb, the fetus doesn't know its mothers chakra from its own, or an outside source. Which means Kushina's assumption to it was spot on." Tsunade explained. "There was a study done on the subject several years ago, and a pregnant woman volunteered for the project. Chakra from the Three Tailed beast was used, once a week for two months, and the child was born with an affinity for water chakra while both parents bloodlines had affinities for fire chakra. The child never developed any other similarities to the tailed beast after that, but he was a powerful shinobi up until the day he died."

"So the question is, how many times a week did Orochimaru inject this woman?" Jiraiya asked.

"Well..." Tsunade said as she uncovered the mother's body, and began examining it. "Judging from the multiple stages of healing on the surface of her abdomen, over her uterus, this wasn't a weekly thing. Much more frequent."

"How frequent are we talking?" Kushina inquired.

"It's hard to tell without doing a proper autopsy, but it was daily, and multiple times at that, if this mucus like substance forming on the skin, is anything to go by, it was at least more than twice a day." Tsunade exclaimed.

"So I guess it's only right to assume that the child should live with Kushina, she does possess the other half of the nine-tails that isn't inside Naruto." Jiraiya sighed. "Though I don't know how the rest of the village will react to it."

A rustling from the bushes caught their attention. Instantly Jiraiya and Tsunade were at the ready, with kunai in hand, while Kushina hung back, with the newborn in her arms.

To their surprise, it was not who they were expecting. Instead of receiving an ambush from Orochimaru, the trio of shinobi were met with a woman, who looked like she was around Kushina's age, crawling along the ground, as if looking for something. She wore what looked like a ratted old leotard, with a white jacket with gold trimmings that looked like it was wearing out. On her legs she wore black stockings with multiple holes in them, while the shoes she wore were falling apart, and looked like they were held together by string, or rubber-bands. But there was one thing that the perverted Sage Jiraiya did notice all too well.

"Oh-my-gosh, she's a hottie. Her figure is so slim and toned, her rack could even rival yours Tsunade, and a nice ass to boot. If I were to make a guess, her size is a G-Cup." Jiraiya smirked before receiving a chop on the head, from Kushina.

"You're such a pervert you know." Kushina exclaimed.

"Jiraiya take a closer look at her, and try not to be a pervert about it." Tsunade exclaimed, a tick mark on her forehead and her face scrunched up in annoyance, with her arms crossed.

Jiraiya groaned before taking a closer look. To his surprise, Tsunade was right. Her hair was a flaming scarlet red, which seemed to shine brighter than Kushina's, with two fox ears on top of her head, with the same black whisker markings on her cheeks, that Naruto and the newborn have, except smaller and made her look cuter. For the final deduction, he saw a fox tail sprouting from the small of her back, which looked to be made of rose quartz crystal, or pink diamond.

"She's a literal vixen." Jiraiya exclaimed.

"She's either another of Orochimaru's escaped experiments, or she's a demon of some sorts." Tsunade exclaimed.

"If she were a demon, do you really think she'd be scrounging for food like she's doing now?" Kushina asked. Upon closer inspection, Tsunade and Jiraiya saw the fox girl was looking for something on the ground and in the bush, which was logical for Kushina to deduce was food. "That bush is a blackberry bush, which isn't in season, so there won't be any edible berries on it." She said as she went walking towards the girl.

Jiraiya and Tsunade reached out to try and stop her, but their reach was a little short as she calmly walked towards the fox girl. The sound of her footsteps alerted the fox girl of her approaching, and she jumped back a bit in fear.

"Hey, it's all right. I'm not going to hurt you." Kushina stated crouching down to be eye level with her.

The fox girl looked at her a bit in fear before her nose caught something off.

"That child in your arms. It's not yours is it?" The fox girl asked.

"No. His mother died in childbirth not long ago. He's orphaned so he's got no family." Kushina explained.

The fox girl slowly leaned forward on her knees, looking at the child sleeping in Kushina's arms, before the red put the child in the vixen's arms. After cradling the child and supporting his head in her arm, the fox girl scratched under his chin, causing him to stir before he grabbed her finger.

"He seems to like you." Kushina smiled. "Here, why don't you come with me? My camp is in that hollowed out tree over there, and we have some food to spare."

"Really?" The fox girl asked.

"Of course. What's your name?" Kushina asked.

"Ahri, my name is Ahri." She smiled.

"Nice to meet you Ahri." Kushina smiled as she began walking back to the hollowed out tree.

As Ahri began following, the sound of rapidly running footsteps drew her attention to the area behind her. She turned around to see a pale skinned man with purple eye shadow, running towards them.

"Get down." Ahri shouted as he threw several kunai at them.

Grabbing Kushina, Ahri sprouted eight more tails and used them as a shield to protect herself, and Kushina from Orochimaru's attack. The kunai bounced off of her diamond hard tails, before she unwrapped them from around her body and used one to knock Orochimaru away.

"Stay behind me." Ahri exclaimed as she turned around to face Orochimaru.

"A-Ahri, you're a…"

"My, my. An actual Kitsune from lore. You're much different from the Demon Fox halves that Kushina and her son have sealed away within themselves." Orochimaru smiled, standing up from the blow Ahri's tail landed.

"Oh man, I really wish I had eaten something. If I had, that guy would be toast just from that attack." Ahri groaned to herself as her stomach growled from hunger pains.

"If it's food you're wanting, then here." Kushina exclaimed holding a pack of rations to her. "It might not be much, and it might not taste all that good, but it should help you get your strength back."

"Thank you." Ahri smiled taking one of the crackers. "Now then." Ahri stated glaring at Orochimaru. 'Why hasn't he attacked yet? Is he too hurt to move, no, that can't be it.' Ahri mentally contemplated before her ears picked up a rustling of leaves. "Above us." She shouted.

Jumping in opposite directions, Kushina landed in front of Tsunade and Jiraiya, who were still reeling at what they saw Ahri do. While Ahri landed by the bush she had come out of, the baby still in her arm, munching on the last of the cracker, Orochimaru made an attempt to strike one of them.

She turned to look at where Orochimaru had been standing, and realized it was just a skin that he had shed faster than the eye could perceive.

"You're senses really are something else." Orochimaru smiled turning to look at Ahri. "I have no problem with taking you to be my next vessel."

"Watch out Ahri. Orochimaru is bad news." Kushina exclaimed.

"You don't gotta tell me." Ahri glared, using her arms to shield the infant she still held in her arms.

As Orochimaru lunged at Ahri in an attempt to tackle her to the ground, she quickly jumped to the right, but was too slow to dodge his next attack, as he bit down on her right shoulder, holding his grip for five seconds, before he released it and jumped away.

"Hmm, hope you enjoy my little gift, fox girl." Orochimaru smiled before he disappeared into the shadows.

"What was that?" Ahri asked holding her shoulder.

Finally out of their stupor of shock, Jiraiya and Tsunade stopped Kushina from advancing towards Ahri.

"What are you doing? She was bitten by Orochimaru, she needs our help now." Kushina argued.

"Kushina, she's a Kitsune from lore. She's dangerous." Tsunade stated.

"I don't care. She saved my life, and the child's life. I'm helping her whether you want me to or not." Kushina stated pushing through them.

Kushina wasn't the best when it came to medical jutsu's that was more Tsunade's specialty. But the busty blonde had made it clear she does not want to help Ahri. As Kushina made her way to Ahri, the Kitsune held the child back for her to take.

"No, keep holding him. I need to treat your wound." Kushina exclaimed.

Ahri kept the infant in her arms and began rocking him, since the commotion had woken him up, and didn't like it.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu." Kushina called out doing the hand-sign for the jutsu before another Kushina popped beside her in a cloud of smoke before she ran off back to the hollow tree, pushing past Tsunade and Jiraiya, and heading for their supplies.

"What was that?" Ahri asked.

"That was the shadow clone jutsu. It's a Jounin level jutsu, a forbidden one at that. But for some reason we're allowed to do it still."

"Jutsu?" Ahri asked.

'Okay, so she knows nothing about jutsu's of any kind, seems safe to say the same for chakra.' Kushina thought as she knelt behind Ahri. "Now hold still while I examine your shoulder." Kushina stated as she used a thin chakra blade to cut open the jacket. Ahri didn't seem to mind that at all actually, she didn't seem to care about the jacket.

Upon removing the torn up pieces of the jacket, Kushina saw the bite marks, and a mark that she knew all too well about.

"Guy's, she's got a curse mark on her." Kushina called back to her teammates.

"Figures, that's the only reason Orochimaru would bite someone and run." Jiraiya sighed before their messenger bird flew over their heads and in the direction of the village.

"Kushina what did your shadow clone just send off?" Tsunade asked as the clone disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

"My clone sent a message to Lord Third, letting him know we're bringing back a couple of people, with a full description on Ahri, and the baby." Kushina explained as Tsunade and Jiraiya stepped closer until they were only a few feet away. "Ahri, can you tell us a little about yourself?"

"Well, I'm not sure what there is to tell. I was working on a solo quest when I was attacked by an enemy, much stronger than myself, I attacked her, and she attacked me. Our attacks collided and everything went dark. Then about a month ago, I woke up with no clue as to where I am, and so I try to survive. Though all the villages and towns I've tried going to have chased me out, even attacked me. I don't know why, I'm just the same as I've always been, and I've never been chased out of a town before." Ahri explained.

"Wait, about a month ago, the village researchers detected an anomaly within the Land of Fire. Do you think she could have come from that?" Kushina asked.

"It's possible, I mean theoretically that anomaly was caused by some great powers colliding, to create a singularity that was only open for a few minutes. If that's true, then we've got another worldly being on our hands." Tsunade stated. "Here, let me take the boy."

When Tsunade held the baby in her arms, taking it from Ahri, he began to wale and cry, not liking Tsunade holding him for some reason.

"Here, let me." Jiraiya stated taking the kid, only the get the same results, tenfold.

"Give him here." Kushina sighed, only she got the wailing at a higher level than Jiraiya. "What do you want?" Kushina questioned.

"I think I might know." Ahri giggled before taking the child back into her arms, holding him close to her chest, her gentle heartbeat calming him down, until he was cooing with happiness and began to fall asleep once more.

"It would seem that he's grown to think of Ahri as his mother." Tsunade exclaimed. "It's not all that surprising since she's a Kitsune."

"But what worries me, is if she came through the anomaly, then no doubt others came as well." Jiraiya exclaimed.

"Then it looks like we really are taking her back to the village with us." Kushina smiled.

"But, what about the village? We're still recovering from the Nine-Tail's attack six months ago." Tsunade stated. "I doubt they'd be very willing to let another one in."

"The rest of the village will just have to accept it." Kushina exclaimed.

"If it helps, I can hide my fox appearance completely." Ahri stated demonstrating that ability, her ears, and tails disappearing. "I can keep it up for as long as I want, but I'll be burning through a lot of calories to maintain it."

"That should work." Jiraiya said.

"So, what should we name the little trouble maker?" Tsunade asked scratching under the infants chin, causing him to stir.

"Let's leave that up to his mother." Kushina smiled as the trio of shinobi looked at Ahri with a smile.

"Well, he's a fighter, so what word best describes a warrior or a soldier?" Ahri smiled.
