Subaru really was enjoying his date with his Emilia-tan. The two of them were walking through the forest hand in hand.
"Oh it's such a beautiful day today! Beautiful just like you Emilia-tan!" The boy mused, making the half elf girl blush up a storm.
"Suuubaruuu! You say the weirdest things!" She used her free hand to cover up her face from her embarrassment. "You making me feel these feelings towards you, you dunderhead..."
His smile grew wide on his face, he always knows how to make her blush the right way. "Emilia-tan is so cute when she tries to hide her blush!"
The forest was beautiful this time of year. Leaves flow down in tune with the wind and the weather was never too hot and too cold. It was the perfect weather for dates like this!
"Oh Subaru! Let's go sit over there!"
In the clearing was a small patch of grass leading into a small field with a better view of the forest and it's entirety.
Both young lovers dashed to the spot and jumped down together in the grass. They held each other in the grass staring into each other's eyes.
"Have I told you how beautiful your eyes are Emilia?" Subaru said not even saying her honor fix that he gave her.
"You only tell me everyday Subaru..." She said softly to him Emilia started lean in closer to him for a kiss.
They both shared a passionate moment in the grassy field as lips touched together into one. Subaru and Emilia loved this, one of the finer moments in each other's hectic lives.
Going through everything that he has it was the things like this that made Subaru think it was all worth it. His loving friends, people he considered family, and the love of his life Emilia.
He felt lucky that he could small moments of peace like this.
"Hey Subaru."
"Yes Emilia."
"What's your dream?"
"My dream?" He laid there for a moment as that thought processed through his mind. His dream? He hasn't really thought about it all that much to be honest.
"I don't know really what my dream is..." Rubbing his hands on his face it really did irk him that he didn't have a real answer for her. "If I had a dream it would be ummm..."
"It's okay if you don't have an answer Subaru." She said looking up at the clouds.
"No, no, no! I need an answer if it's for you Emilia-tan!" He pondered for a moment once more. "My dream is... to make sure you become the ruler after the selection, and... make sure all our friends survive in the end. Yeah... I think that's my dream."
She smiled sweetly to him and snuggled closer to him. "You always had such a big heart Subaru. Do you promise me that you'll help me become king?"
"Well I'm not good at keeping promises so far but... If I could try again for you Emilia-tan then yes!"
"That's what I wanted to hear..." Emilia kissed him on the cheek. "I love you Subaru."
"I love you too Emilia."
As they laid there looking at the clouds in the sky pointing which shapes look like what Subaru had a question pop into his head.
"Emilia?"
"Yes, Subaru?"
"What is your dream since you asked me mine?"
"I want to become king so I can make the country for the people living in it, and used the dragon to free my people in Elinor forest."
"That's noble of you, wanting what's best for everyone, as expected of my Emilia-tan?"
"Yes, help the poor and needy and establish the elves as the rulers again."
"The elves as rulers?"
"Why yes of course!"
"I've never heard of this part of your dream before."
"I love you Subaru and since people who lover each other can trust each other I don't want to keep secrets from you."
"Okay so what is this about the elves being rulers then?" He questioned.
"We elves were once a great people, we lived secluded in the forest because of the discrimination that we faced. But if I were to become ruler and used the dragon's power to unfreeze my people we can ruler over the other races again and establish our dominance again!"
A nervous chill ran up Subaru's spin as she explained to him what her plan was. "Uh, Emilia I'm not following what you are saying here..."
"It's like I said Subaru! The elves will establish our supremacy over man and the beast races and rule over them!"
"Huh?! Emilia do you even know what you're saying?! It sounds like to me you want to enslave the people or something!"
"Enslave? Subaru you dunderhead! You know that's not what I meant, I just want what's best for them and us ruling over them is what I mean!"
"Emilia I don't know how to feel about this... what about me I'm human and not an elf, what does that mean for me?!"
"Your special Subaru, you told me you love me and want to be by my side. You will be around the same level as the elves."
Subaru couldn't believe what he was hearing. Emilia, the kind and sweet hearted Emilia was an elven supremacist and wanted to put her foot down over the other races. It reminded of something from back home, horrible memories.
The Thalmor...
Those elven bastards banned Talos worship and subjugated Skyrim and the empire under there feet. That damn white gold concordat.
All those Skyrim playthoughs and he couldn't exterminate them off the face of nirn! He wouldn't have it not here! Not anywhere!
"Emilia I'm sorry but I can't support this." He said grimly. He left her side and got up off the ground. "I will not stand by your side and watch this happen!"
"Subaru you promised!" She got up from the ground and tried to stop him from leaving. "It's what these people need! It's what's best for them! Why can't you understand?!"
"I will not stand by some Thalmor whore and watch as she enslaves people with an iron fist!"
Emilia could only stand there as her Subaru said those horrible words to her. Her face darkened. "Subaru if that's how it's going to be."
He yelped in surprise as the ground beneath his feet started to freeze him in place. "Emilia! No! You stop me!"
"Subaru... if you won't understand I'll make you. This is for the best." The ice began to crawl up his legs and reach his waist.
NO! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!
He looked at the girl in fury knowing what she was planning on doing. She was going to freeze him and come back after she wins the selection.
Trying to find the words to express his anger he felt something coming up his throat. Something that felt immensely powerful.
"I'm sorry Subaru.." She said quietly as she watched the ice creeping upwards on his body.
"FUS!"
A giant force pushed Emilia backward slamming her hard against the tree behind her. The ice around Subaru's form shattered in into pieces onto the ground.
Finally free he walks over to her as she laid in pain on the ground.
"Subaru why...?"
"I'm sorry Emilia."
Concentrating his voice again he looked down in sadness at the girl on the floor as he let loose his power.
"FUS RO DAH!"
The ground beneath him exploded as chunks of dirt and the half elf flew everywhere around him. He looked down at the blood that covered his body now. The misery he felt at what he did, but he knew deep inside that he did the right thing.
As Subaru walked back towards the mansion he prepared himself of what he has to explain to his friends and loved ones. He knew that they would understand.
"Fuck the Thalmor."
Every once and a while the people of Lugunica would hear the rumors of what happned that day. Passing a guard or tavern in the capital you would those same words.
"They say that Natsuki Subaru slayed the half devil Emilia with his voice! Shouted her apart!"
First off this is a crack fic and not meant to be taken seriously obviously, it was just a funny idea that I had so I wrote it down.
Playing Skyrim again so I mad the funny joke in my head about Emilia and the Thalmor.
Over all just a fun fic as I update my other one's.
