Hello, I hope this idea of a Fate x Sekirei crossover interests you. Please tell me what you think about this story be it good, bad or anything in between.

If you recognise parts of this fanfic, it is because it has been inspired by In-Flight by Gabriel Blessing, which is the greatest and mother of Fate x Sekirei Fanfics.

Chapter One "Ashikabi/Servant Arturia Pendragon"

Arturia stared at the window as the plane landed in the Shin Tokyo airport. She wondered if Shirou and Rin would be the same as she remembered given how the timeline had likely changed when she had returned to the past, given up on the Holy Grail, and had effectively disappeared from the annals of history, surviving centuries later in hopes of meeting Shirou and Rin again.

The Once and Future King of England resisted the urge that had increasingly grown since the days of Shirou Emiya's and Rin Tohsaka's births. She had constantly suppressed that urge as she had hoped when she met them again that her friends hadn't changed and remained the same as she remembered. Arturia sincerely hoped to god that it was the case.

"Duchess Pendragon," Said the personal butler that had been assigned to Arturia with her ridiculous expensive flight. "Is there anything you wish for before leaving the plane?"

"There is nothing that I require." Arturia replied. "How long more before I can depart?"

"I am told that it will take approximately ten minutes before the plane has been parked and ready for your departure."

"Thank you for the news. You may leave." Arturia waved.

"If you need me, please press the button for my services."

As the butler left, Arturia mused at the title that the butler had addressed her by. Every time she was addressed by the title Arturia couldn't help but recall how utterly ridiculous that for the most part, the general public believed the 'official' story that every inheritor of title and position, Duchess Pendragon of Camelot, was the daughter of the previous Duchess. Arturia did alter her appearance ever so slightly, sometimes physically or just through illusionary magic, to make her different from her 'mother.'

"I shouldn't downplay the tireless effort that House Pendragon goes to hide the fact that the Duchess of Camelot had been for several centuries the same person." Arturia muttered as she shook her head.

Arturia got up when the butler informed her it was time to leave and escorted her off the plane into the private lounge reserved for the ultra-rich airflight passengers. She was not surprised by several Bounded Fields inside the private lounge given her identity in the Clocktower. Wherever Arturia went magesthat either wanted to protect or gather information about her would place Bounded Fields around.

"Greeting, Duchess Pendragon," said a man as he bowed in a traditional Japanese manner. "What would have brought such an esteemed guest such as yourself to Shin Tokyo."

"Is that you, Kiritsugu Emiya?" Arturia asked in disbelief as she stared at the man, she never thought she would see again.

"I am surprised you would recognize me." Kiritsugu Emiya replied in surprise as he looked up at Arturia from his bowed position. "I thought I would be too below your station."

"How could I not know who you are? You are amongst one of the most famous freelancers of the Association. The fact that you would repeatedly disappear from the face of the Earth for changing periods of time only added to your reputation." Arturia responded as she regained her composure. She glanced at several figures and vehicles only seeable with superhuman sight. "Why are there MBI security forces in the distance? Are you here to 'escort' me somewhere?"

"MBI security force is just to keep out pesky news reporters that follow you wherever you go." Kiritsugu replied with a straight face. "I am here because I would like to know the reason for your arrival at Shin Tokyo."

"I was planning to transfer over to another flight, a privately chartered airplane, to Fuyuki." Said Arturia. "You don't have to worry about me, if that is what concerns you."

Kiritsugu looked at Arturia with surprise. "The reason for flight to Fuyuki. Will it have anything to do with the Fuyuki Holy Grail? I thought nothing of value was left in that place ever since the Third Fuyuki Holy Grail War ended and it was shut down by the Mage's Association with the discovery of Angra Mainyu."

A smile grew as Arturia replied, "Maybe? What does my visit have anything to do with you?"

"What is taking so long, Kiri?!" A woman shouted as she walked to Kiritsugu. "Just because the Duchess of Camelot has arrived doesn't mean she is exempt from local Japanese law."

"This is?" Arturia asked as she raised a brow.

"This is my wife, Takami Emiya nee Sahashi," Said Kiritsugu as he introduced his wife. "She is Chief Science Officer at MBI."

"What happened to Irisviel von Einzbern?" Arturia asked in surprise.

"Irisviel von Einzbern? What would the current head of the Einzbern family have anything to do with me?" Kiritsugu responded in surprise. "I have never had any connection with them. So where did the idea of me marrying an Einzbern come from?"

It must be a result of a change in the timeline, Arturia thought as she concluded why Kiritsugu had a different wife from her memories. "Oh, nothing. It was just a mere joke." She smiled. "What did your wife mean earlier about, 'local Japanese law?' Is there something I must do that I am not aware of?"

"How are you not aware of the new security law that just recently took effect in Japan? It made the world headlines several times for multiple months." Takami asked in surprise as if staring at Arturia as if the former Servant had been living under a rock.

"I am a very busy woman," Said Arturia as she looked at Kiritsugu. "Your husband should know why. What is this new security law?"

"Starting a month ago, all visitors coming into or transferring through Japanese seaports and airports must register their DNA, fingerprint, iris and several other more exotic methods of identifying someone that is unique to each person." Kiritsugu replied.

"That seems too much of an intrusion of personal privacy." Arturia commented with narrowed eyes.

"Hence, why the new Japanese security law got some much attention on the world news." Takami added. "Almost anyone travelling to or through Japan knows about it. Given how wealthy you are, your travel agent should have notified you about it."

Arturia resisted the urge to snort. Her travel agent wouldn't have informed her as someone of her status would have been excepted from such things, not because of her public identity as Duchess of Camelot, but as one of the founding families of the Mage's Association.

"Dear, Duchess Pendragon is exempt from the security law." Said Kiritsugu as he stared into his wife's eyes. "This is because forcing such a high-ranked member of British royalty will cause an international incident that the Japanese government and MBI cannot afford."

"Duchess Pendragon is exempt from the security law. This is because forcing such a high-ranked member of British royalty will cause an international incident that the Japanese government and MBI cannot afford." Takami repeated in a machine-like voice as she stared at Kiritsugu's eyes with vacant eyes.

"That is right, dear." Kiritsugu nodded. He continued to hypnotize his wife until Kiritsugu was sure everything was done properly before returning his attention to Arturia. "Duchess Pendragon, I apologize, but you will not be able to leave Tokyo for an undisclosed amount of time. MBI is conducting a city-scale project that cannot afford to be leaked to the public outside of Shin Tokyo."

Arturia stared at Kiritsugu. Whatever Kiritsugu's or MBI's plans were, she didn't like being told to stay in a single place for an unknown amount of time. She could easily force Kiritsugu to retract his demand, but that meant revealing her abilities. The last thing she wanted was more of her enemies to gather intel of what she could do, much less find clues to reveal that she was King Arthur. That would cause a whole lot of problems that Arturia had spent centuries avoiding if possible.

"I will comply for now, but I hope whatever city-scale project MBI is planning doesn't exceed a month." Said Arturia with narrowed eyes. "That is my limit, but in the meanwhile I will get to explore Shin Tokyo for the first time."

- O -

"Greetings, welcome to our club," Said several good-looking men and women as Arturia entered.

Arturia entered what had been advertised online and by her travel agent as one of the best host clubs in Shin Tokyo. The concept of host/hostess clubs were very interesting to Arturia as it was a service and industry rarely seen outside of Japan for various cultural, regulatory and other reasons. She had seen host/hostess clubs in so many forms of media that Arturia wasn't going to miss the chance to experience it for herself.

It is always so interesting to see how some minor transformation magic can make me seem like a completely different person. Arturia mused with a smile at the small thing of changing her hair and eye color, or minor changes to her facial expressions had such a profound impact on how others perceived her.

"How may we serve you today?" An employee of the host club that was responsible for receiving customers said to Arturia as she walked up to him.

"I would like to request the service of your best host. His name, I believe, was Kagari." Arturia replied.

"Kagari-san? Yes, he is the most popular host at our establishment. Please let me check if he is free right now." Several seconds later after using a tablet did the response come. "Kagari is available and is coming here as we speak."

In another part of the establishment, Homura, whose host name was Kagari, looked at the mirror to see if everything about his appearance was okay before he went down to greet his next client. He straightened his clothing and brushed his hair one last time before making his way the stairs.

"So, it's this room, right?" Homura muttered as he arrived at the room that his next client was supposed to be.

He wondered who his client was. Reserved rooms, especially with a highly demanded and popular host such as himself was very expensive. His prices easily went into the thousands of US dollars depending on the service and food/drinks consumed during the session with the client. The fact that it was a single person, not a group, for a reserved room had slightly negative connotations as a reserved room with a single client meant illicit affairs. The sound proofing was world-class helped as it meant that the hallway containing all of the rooms was dead silent. That unless someone opened the door; no sound would escape the reserved room.

Homura used the card key he was given to unlock the door to the reserved room and walked inside.

"Hello, my name is Kagari, and I will be your-" Homura's mouth stopped moving when he was greeted by the sight of his client.

For the first time in his life, something that Homura had always wondered what it would feel like, hit him. He had thought the books about the experience were just cheesy words or stereotypes. Now that he was experiencing for himself, it felt like the romance novels he had read failed to capture what he felt.

"Are you alright?" The client asked as their hands clasped his shoulders.

Homura unconsciously gulped and stared at the woman before him. Beautiful, those were the first words that entered his mind. No, beautiful failed to describe her. She was a goddess. Too beautiful to exist on Earth. Something that should exist in legend describing otherworld maidens of mythical beauty.

"Kagari-san." The goddess repeated, her beautiful feminine voice that caused Homura's heart to pound in ways that he didn't know could happen and his body to flush like his clients normally did.

The woman's breath was warm, and feeling it caused Homura's body to shiver. Whether it was in disgust or pleasure, he didn't know, and that made it worse. But either way, his body began to get hot, uncomfortably so. Homura gulped and unconsciously found himself leaning over and kissing the woman.

"What was that?!" The goddess demanded furiously. Despite her furious expression, Homura couldn't help but be fascinated by it. It was so beautiful even if he had made the goddess angry.

Why? Why do I feel hot all of a sudden? Homura wondered in confusion. His vision started to black out. But just before it did, Homura saw wings of flames in the corner of his vision.…Huh. So this is what my wings look like.

While Homura collapsed, Arturia caught the unconscious host, but held back the growing fury that was building inside her. The host had some serious convictions to not only to kiss her without her consent, but he had also decided to 'conveniently' fall unconscious. If it wasn't for her instincts, which qualified as her own Personal Skill as a Servant, then she would have believed that her host had been deceiving her with his fainting act.

She slowly placed Homura down on a nearby sofa and sat down next to him while thinking. Arturia brought up the unconscious Homura's right hand to confirm something she had felt since he had kissed her. What she saw was without a doubt something that was very familiar to her. Something that she had seen centuries ago but was still fresh on her mind as if it had happened yesterday.

Why does my host possess a Command Seal? Does that mean he is a Master? Arturia wondered in confusion as she inspected her own body and soul.

There was no doubt a connection between her and Homura. It was not the same, but similar to the one she had felt twice whilst summoned by Kiritsugu and Shirou in the Fourth and Fifth Holy Grail Wars. She felt Homura's mana enter her body. Yet, baffling her was the mana that was also entering Homura. It was like Homura was her Master and her Servant at the same time, which was mutually inclusive under normal circumstances.

Her musing was cut short when her phone rang.

"Dun dudu daaaa!" A voice shouted from Arturia's phone without her even opening it.

Arturia's eyes narrowed as she reached for her phone. No one should be able to speak on it without her activating it. It wasn't too much to say her phone was just as secure as the personal phones used by the world leaders of the most powerful nations given that she had a team of computer specialists and Spirit Hackers constantly updating her phone with the most up-to-date and cutting-edge cybersecurity. Whoever was speaking on her phone had resources that either matched or surpassed her own.

When Arturia opened her phone, she was surprised to see the face of Hiroto Minaka, the CEO and founder of MBI, one of the most wealthy and influential companies in the world. Soon she could understand why her phone could have been hacked as Minaka had the resources to make such an attempt possible.

"Congratulations!" Minaka continued. "You were magnificently chosen to be part of a Sekirei Plan."

"The Sekirei Plan?" Arturia repeated suspiciously as she had the feeling that this 'Sekirei Plan' might have to do with the Command Seal that Homura possessed.

"The Sekirei Plan is the name of the contest you have entered upon winging a Sekirei. The rules are simple. There are one hundred and eight freed Sekirei in the city right now. These Sekirei fight, and fight, and fight, and fight! And the Ashikabi of the last remaining Sekirei is given permission to ascend. The Ashikabi, who overcomes the odds, will hold the fate of the world in their hands."

Arturia's face hardened. No matter how she saw it, Minaka's words seemed to make the Sekirei Plan as if it a wish-granting device was waiting to be won. It reminded her too much of the Holy Grail War. She suddenly had the urge to participate, not because she wanted a wish-granting device, but because the morals that allowed her to become the King of Knights wanted to prevent anyone with nefarious intent never got their hands on the prize of the Sekirei Plan.

"Are you telling me this 'Sekirei Plan' is a battle royal to the last one standing?" Arturia asked.

"Exactly!" Minaka crowed triumphantly.

"What are the rules of engagement? Is there a boundary to the combat zone? What are the conditions to victory? Can you clarify what you mean by 'permission to ascend' or 'hold the fate in their hands'? It seems very ominous to me."

"You'll have to ask your questions to your Sekirei. It wouldn't be fair if I told you when I didn't tell any of the other Ashikabi, now would it?" Minaka replied cheekily. His expression turned seriously as he said, "I should warn you that the Sekirei Plan is something that is being kept in the strictest of confidences. As a participant you have a responsibility to keep it a secret. In the case that you leak information, MBI will retaliate against you with all the force at our disposal."

Before Arturia could ask more, Minaka's face disappeared as her phone's screen became black. She was about to access her phone and connect to House Pendragon when she felt a presence that froze her in dread.

"So, I wasn't the only Servant," Arturia mused as she monitored the spiritual presence. She turned to the unconscious Homura and said, "I hope when you wake up that you have some answers to what is going on. Otherwise, this Holy Grail War or Sekirei Plan is going to be really difficult to win…"
