I do not own RWBY. This has some character bashing but nothing major. This is also Ruby x Pyrrha.
Ruby starts walking back to the Team RWBY dorm after a little light training. She was trying to perfect a move that has been troubling her for a while now. It can be done but she wants to do it on command. When voices of her team reach her ears.
"I can not stand Ruby, she is such a child. And Ozpin made her the leader. I gave her plenty of chances at this point and she has not changed in the slightest. Sorry Yang I know she is your sister and all but something needs to change. At this point I would take you over her any day." That was Weiss's voice.
'What the hell Weiss, I thought we were making headway.' Ruby thought.
"Please try living with her, for all these years. Always wanting cookies and doing nothing around the house. Making me do everything, while our piece of shit father was just a drunk all the time. Yet our uncle, who is not her uncle by blood by the way. Would always favor her." That was Yang complaining.
'Fuck you too Yang, you have no clue what I have been though and what I have done to keep you and your father safe.' Ruby is getting angrier by the word.
"I am not one to agree with a Schnee but in this case I am on her side. She really needs to grow up if she wants to lead us properly. It is getting on my nerves and I like to think of myself as a patient person." That was Blake.
'Well even Blake is like this. All they had to do was talk to me but no they are just acting like children and they call me a child, ha if they only knew.' Ruby thinks.
Ruby then turns around and sees Pyrrha behind her. "Oh Pyrrha sorry did not see you there. Also I am surprised you were able to get behind me without me noticing."
"Well I was not trying to, you just seemed distracted. But from what I heard your team talking about I understand why. It is uncalled for that they are talking about you like that. Whether or not they are right matters not." Pyrrha shakes her head.
"Oh they are wrong on many levels. I have a secret that only my mom, 'uncle' and Opin know about. I think it is time that my team learn about it the hard way." Ruby smirks.
"Is that so, do you mind telling me. I promise not to tell a soul unless you say so first." Pyrrha looks hopeful.
"Well since you asked so nicely. But I do have to tell you something. Juane sucks like really bad. I do not mean in a combat way. A blind man can see that. What I mean is that he is so blind that he cannot see that you like him. Let it go and find someone else. It will be better for you, in the long run. I have been holding that in for a while." Ruby tells Pyrrha.
"You are right, I really need to let this crush go. In fact I have had my eyes on someone else for a bit, I was just holding out hope that would change at some point." Pyrrha confesses.
"Oh really, pray tell who has caught the eye of the famous Pyrrha? Just joking you do not have to tell me. Now on to that secret. I am not human, and before you ask I am not a faunus either. I am a vampire. Now I know that is hard to believe but I do have proof that should convince you. But we need a more private location. Ah, is the rest of your team out for a movie and then dinner?" Ruby asks.
"Yes they are. They should be gone for a while. From my understanding they will not be back until later tonight. So my dorm will be empty, will that work for you?" Pyrrha looks happy to be seeing what might come.
Pyrrha and Ruby go to Team JNPR's dorm and to be expected it is empty. "This will work. Now you do know what my semblance is, correct?" Pyrrha nods, but not understanding where this is going. "Good, now if it is true that a person can only have one semblance. How is it that I can do this." Ruby then proceeds to change her form. Almost looking like an older version of herself. "Now this is not a semblance, I see that look of disbelief. It is a power more specfly my vampire power. Every single line of vampire has a different power. My mom and I have this power and some would consider it to be the most powerful of the ones out there."
"That makes sense, if you live forever, or at least do not age, you can blend in to everyone else and make it look like someone else any chance you get. That would be very powerful. Now I do believe you. What does have to do with your team if you do not mind me asking." Pyrrha says, but does give Ruby a very long once over. She has always liked both genders and Ruby is ticking all the right boxes for her in either form she has.
Ruby seeing this once over smiles, "See something you like? Anyway I will show them this and prove to them why I am the leader. If that involves kicking their asses then I will. I also have someone to call and it will take her a few days to get here before I do anything. I could take all three at once but I want to drive the point home."
"Yeah I can understand that. By the way yes I do not see something I like I see someone. I always thought you were cute, but like this damn, you are hot as hell. And as for your question from earlier, it is you that I have had my eye on for a bit now. And seeing as both of our teams are far too busy for us, I would like to take you on a date if you want that?" Pyrrha asks eyes full of hope.
Ruby giggles a bit at that, and it sends Pyrrha's heart fluttering. "Yes I would like that very much so. I do not have any other clothes to change into at the moment. All of my other ones are in the dorm, and before you ask, all my clothes are made to change size based on my form. They are not self cleaning and they do not change the look that they are already based on."
"Well that question did cross my mind, though I would like to see what is underneath those clothes of yours but, in time maybe." Pyrrha blushes a bit at that thought.
"Ha, that is true now let us go on this date where you would like to go. Oh before I forget let me go back to what people think I really look like." Ruby laughs and goes back to what she looked like before.
"Well I was just thinking about going to dinner with you. I have seen you eat so that is no problem I take it." Pyrrha smiles.
"Yeah it is no problem for me. The 'fact' that vampires cannot eat is all false. We can, we just do not need to. I do it to help blend in even more. Yes, I do drink blood. It is needed every so often. I am very old so I do not require very much. Just a little every month to keep going." Ruby confirms what Pyrrha had already thought.
"Well that is good. Though I figure you get blood though your own way. I rather not know right now. But I do trust you and if you need blood anytime soon you can have some of mine you want that is." If Pyrrha could blush more she did right there.
"Mmm, temping but I drank not that long ago so I do not need it for a while. In the future who knows. But be careful who you offer your blood to. I care, so I will never take more than I need. There are blood crazed vampires out there that trick others into giving them all their blood."
"Wow, okay that is good to know. Though to be honest, I would only want you to have my blood. We are friends before any of this so that is no problem to me. And for the record I care as well so just let me know ahead of time, okay?" Pyrrha makes sure with Ruby.
"Of course I have no problem with that. Like I said before I need very little and not that often so do not have any worries about that. Alright that is enough talk for now let us go eat and we can talk even more then." Ruby urges Pyrrha along.
"Fine, I am glad that you have not changed that much even with all that you have told me." Pyrrha laughs.
"Well I am the same person no matter what. I have not changed even after all these years." Ruby giggles.
"If you do not mind me asking how old are you?" Pyrrha asks.
"You know it is rude to ask a lady her age. But I do not mind that I am over one thousand years old. I have been around for a very long time. There is much I could teach you after all." Ruby says with a sidelong glance.
Pyrrha blushes even more at that thought, "I am sure you could and I look forward to learning."
Ruby and Pyrrha make their way to Vale and to a diner that serves a large variety of food. They get seated fairly quickly and start to look over the menu. "What are you thinking about getting for dinner today?" Ruby asks.
"I was thinking about pizza, what about you?" Pyrrha asks back.
"I will go for the burger, rare of course. Now, I am sure you have questions, let us start." Ruby gets right down to business.
Right before Pyrrha gets to her first question the waiter comes by and takes their orders. "Okay, the first question is why do you trust me with all this information in the first place. Do not get me wrong I like that you do, it is just that I would like to understand why."
"Ah that makes sense as to why you would ask that. As a vampire I can see into the heart of another. I can see the intention of others so to speak. But, I can not read minds, just in case you were wondering. That is why I did not see, as it were, how my team felt for me. They had no intention of harming me. They just grew to hate me as it were. I have been distracted as of late so I was not looking. As to 'seeing' into the heart of another, I have to do it with the thought in mind. It does not happen passively as it were. For as to why I trust you, I have seen into your heart Pyrrha and I know that you will not betray me." Ruby gave quite the explanation.
"Ah, I see now." Pyrrha blushes. "I guess on to the next question, how does a human become a vampire, or better yet how did you become a vampire? I am sure the way the media depicts it is very wrong or at least very inaccurate to the real deal."
"Ah, I figured you would ask that. To answer one part vampires are not undead. I was born this way. How we do not age is something that is still being looked into, but vampires have all the time in the world as it were, so there is really no rush for us. Now as to how a human becomes a vampire, that is a bit more complex." Their food shows up before Ruby could continue, and Ruby takes a bit. "Ah, now that is a good burger. Now as to what I was talking about. A human becoming a vampire is a very long and delicate process. It can take nine to ten years for the safest method otherwise the human would just become a thrall. Yes they would gain power but their life spawn would dramatically decrease. To make the math simple, say the human before becoming a thrall would live say ninety years, after they became a thrall they would only live about thirty years or so."
"Wow, so you would have to be very careful with the process then. You did not mention how it is done." Pyrrha points out.
"Ah that is true sorry about that. It is about taking in the blood of the vampire that you wish to turn by. Now why it takes so much time is too fast and you get a thrall. It takes time for humans to get used to the way vampire blood works. This goes the same for fanus, and there is no real difference between the two. It takes a small amount of blood every month that you would have to take. Like I said before it takes time and most people do not have the patience for that. It is understandable in a way, humans are used to things happening fairly quickly. I mean look at how long it takes to be a hunter with a license, only four years. That is a drop in the ocean for people like me. Even for someone as young as you it is not a very long time. But nine to ten years on the other hand can be about a tenth of your life so it can feel like forever to you mere mortals." Ruby says with a small smirk.
"Very funny Ruby. Though you are not wrong. Ten years ago feels like a lifetime ago to me. I understand what you mean by that. But, to be fair a lot can happen in ten years so it is not unreasonable for us mortals to get antsy after all that time. And not everyone can wait that long to live forever." Pyrrha says.
"Well living forever is not always a good thing. Seeing others that you have learned to love and cherish slowly die while you remain the same can be taxing at times. Which is why vampires will just disappear for a hundred years or so too either sleep or just get away from everything. I have done that a time or two. But, after all this time I have gotten used to it. That of course does not make it any easier when it happens." Ruby sighs.
"I am sure you have heard this before but I am sorry that you have to go through that. But that does bring me to my next question. Why are you attending Beacon anyway? I am sure that you must have been a licensed huntress many times over by this point." Pyrrha wonders.
"Ah now that is an easy one. I still have to blend into the populace. So if I am not in seclusion I go to Beacon every sixty or so years. With a change in appearance each time. Now all the professors are told about me though they do not know the details, except for Ozpin for reasons that I will not share. And before you ask why, it is not my story to tell. It is up to him if he decides to tell you." Ruby tells Pyrrha.
"Okay I understand. But, you said that there are some really bad vampires out there. Let us say that you are not with me for whatever reason and I run into one of them. How would I tell and how would I best fight one or at least hold them off long enough to get help?" Pyrrha looks a bit nervous asking this question.
"That is quite the roundabout way for asking about the weaknesses of vampires. You could have been more direct about it, I would not have been mad. Okay where to start, it is a bit complicated because it is a bit different per vampire. Now the main weakness for us is that we are all susceptible to being staked in the heart but that does not kill us just slow us down or keep us in a deep sleep. No it does not need to be a coffin. But the problem with that one is that it has to be dead center. Pardon the pun. As for others silver works on some but not on all. If you can behead the vampire that will kill them, but to be fair who wouldn't that kill. Holy Water is fake, it was made up by people that just wanted to make money, much like snake oil back in the day. Lucky that is not a thing anymore, but vampires do require air as much as the next person. We can drown but it takes longer than a human or fanus. Running water is yet again not a thing, it was just land owners just trying to make a buck off of riverside lands or places by waterfalls. I can see the appeal of living there. They can be quiet and serene but it does come with their fair share of problems. Sorry went off track there for a second." Ruby chuckles a little.
"There is one weakness that I am wondering about. What is with the whole sun deal, why is that a thing it does not seem to affect you in the slightest." Pyrrha questions.
"That is a very complex question. It affects vampires in different ways. For a vampire like me it has no way to weaken me. But, I am old and was born a vampire. Now for others it can go in many ways. Let us start with what most people think they know as the way vampires die when in the sunlight. That only works on young, relatively speaking of course, vampires that have gone blood crazed. It is unfortunately a very common occurrence. It usually happens to turned vampires that have no clue how to deal with their cravings. Now I know what you are thinking, if it takes so long to turn a human into a vampire why did I say that it was a common occurrence. Now that is the funny thing that happens, that is why many vampires that are depicted in the media are blood crazed or some form of it. There are a bunch of humans that want to live forever but do not have the fortune to stay sane long enough to get a hold of what makes a true vampire, a true vampire so to speak. And that of course is control. Now back to what I was saying about the Sun. The 'fact' that it being the biggest weakness of my kind is quite the story but that will take a while and I am sure you have more questions about another time." Ruby goes on a nice winded rant.
"Well what about silver? I have heard many different ways for that to go." Pyrrha just looks confused about this whole thing.
"Ah good old silver, now that is a name I have not heard in a very long time. Jokes aside, silver would only work on a vampire if it is properly blessed. Now that is a process that has been long forgotten. I know how to do it, but why would I tell anyone how to do that. The knowledge was lost for humans five or so hundred years ago. That was one of the biggest worries for vampires for a while. Any other weakness that you would like to ask about?" Ruby queries.
"No that is all that I can think of at the moment, in fact I can not think of any more questions at the moment." Pyrrha seems to be a bit lost in thought.
"That is fine we have plenty of time to get to know each other." Ruby winks at Pyrrha.
Before Pyrrha could respond three familiar faces show up at the diner and they see Ruby and Pyrrha and walk over to say hi.
"Hey guys I am surprised to see you two hanging out without the rest of us. Are guys on a date if so that is so cute." Nora all but cries out.
"Wait, is that true?" Juane looks like he was betrayed.
"Let us assume that we are, why would it matter if it was Juane. You clearly had no clue that I had a thing for you because you were so busy pinning after Weiss not realizing that she hates you and the fact that she is a bitch." Pyrrha growls out.
The rest of Team JNPR are shocked by Pyrrha. They have not heard her talk like that before. "Pyrrha what do you mean?" Juane studders.
"Juane just how thick headed are you? I had a crush on you. Do you need me to say it in any other way? Yes, I did say had. I do not like you that way anymore, and I never will again." Pyrrha just shakes her head.
"Wow, to be honest I did not think you had it in you Pyrrha. I am a little proud of you. Good job, that did need to be said. Do not look at me like that Ren, you know it is true." Nora defends herself.
"I did not say a word." Ren spoke softly.
"I know that look Ren. You think I said too much, but I don't care." Nora crosses her arms.
Ruby is just watching this and is laughing on the inside. 'Those two really need to get together already, or as Nora puts it together together.'
Pyrrha sees Ruby smiling, "What is with the smile Ruby?"
"Oh nothing, just thinking about something. Anyway, yes Juane we are on a date so not to be rude can you guys find some other place and not interrupting us. You can stay here but find a different spot to eat and leave us, please." Ruby eyes narrow a bit.
"Of course sorry about that Ruby. Let us go guys and leave these two alone. It seems that they have much to talk about. See you two back at the dorm and don't have too much fun." Nora says with a wink. Pyrrha is left blushing and Ruby laughing.
Ruby and Pyrrha start talking about the little things. Their favorite colors, food, among other things. They enjoyed the rest of their time at the diner and soon as it had started it had to come to an end. They get back to the dorm hand in hand. Luckily their receptive dorms are close to each other. "I had a wonderful time tonight Ruby. And again thank you for trusting me with all that information. And I would love to do this again only a bit more light hearted though the whole thing. Next time though I am going to choose where we go." Pyrrha informs Ruby.
"That is fine, this was sudden after all. But, I do not regret it at all. It was fun and yes I would love to do this again." Ruby puts her right hand on Pyrrha's cheek and she leans in and puts a quick peek on her lips. "I will see you tomorrow. Don't miss me too much." Pyrrha blushes and not trusting her words just nods.
Ruby walks to her dorm and before opening the door she turns around and winks at Pyrrha. Ruby enters her dorm and sees that the rest of her team are doing a variety of different things. To no one's surprise, Yang is slacking off. Blake is reading something, but she is always reading something and Weiss is studying despite being ahead on her lessons. Yang is the first to notice her walking in. "Hey Ruby where have you been?" Yang acts like nothing was ever said. But then again she had no clue that their conversation was over heard by her and Pyrrha.
"Would you believe me if I said I was on a date?" Ruby says with a slight laugh in her tone.
"Yeah sure you were. Must have been a nice date with Juane." Yang mocks her.
"Wait you went on a date with Juane wow, did not know you had such low standards." Weiss puts in her two cents.
"You guys know I can talk too. And for your information it was with Pyrrha. And it was a wonderful night away from you guys. And before you say anything Weiss my homework is done so no need to nag me. I am going to bed, do not wake me or else." Ruby leaves that threat up in the air.
The only one that did not say a thing was Blake. She had a bad feeling if she spoke up, but could not figure out why that is. She shrugs it off and tells the rest of the team that she is going to bed as well.
The next day Weiss, Blake, and Yang all wake up a bit later than they should. Upon realizing this they all get ready in a rush though soon after they leave Yang asks, "Did anyone else notice that Ruby was not in the dorm?"
"Yes I did notice that, which is odd because she is the one that is up first and waking the rest of us up. I wonder where she is?" Weiss asks.
"Careful Weiss, you sound like you care about her." Blake teases her.
"She is our leader, and is slacking off. I would wager which makes the rest of us look bad." Weiss says.
"I mean you are not wrong, Ice Queen, but that is besides the point. Even at home she was one of, if not the first to always be up. Though she did not do much when she was a wake until Uncle Qrow started training her. Knowing her she is off somewhere eating cookies and doing nothing but be on her scroll." Yang shakes her head at the mere thought of that.
The rest of team RWBY get to the cafeteria and to their surprise they see Ruby sitting next to Pyrrha and with the rest of team JNPR. After they get their food they sit near them and start eating.
"Ruby why were you not in the dorm this morning?" Weiss asks.
"What, was it hard for the Ice Queen to wake up on time without me? I would apologize if I felt sorry, but I do not so do not expect one from me. And besides I wanted to spend some time with Pyrrha. Last night was not nearly enough time." Ruby says with an arm around Pyrrha's waist.
The rest of team RWBY's eyes went wide, "Wait a minute, you were not joking about going on a date with Pyrrha last night. The hell Ruby why did you not tell me you liked girls" Yang all but shouts.
"And why would I tell you Yang? You never asked, you never even brought it up. Why would I go to you when I had others to go to. Besides I am comfortable with who I am." Ruby snaps back.
"Ruby-" Yang starts
"No, Yang I am stopping you right there. This is my choice not yours." Ruby gets a bit angyer.
Pyrrha puts a kiss on the top of Ruby's head and she calms down a little and sinks into her as she wraps her arms around Ruby. Pyrrha looks right at Yang, "I would keep your thoughts to yourself and that goes for the rest of you. Just let it go and leave Ruby alone for now."
Weiss, Blake, and Yang just gave each other confused looks. "Okay, I am a bit lost but I know I will back off but with these two you never know." Blake basically throws the other two under the bus.
"Come on Pyrrha it may be Saturday but might as well get some studying done. See you guys later." Ruby gets up and Pyrrha soon follows.
"Bye, see you all later today." Pyrrha waves. JNPR waves back while RWBY still looks lost about all that just went on.
"Please tell me that was a joke right. Ruby and Pyrrha are just playing a practical joke right, I mean come on Ruby and Pyrrha. Blake and Yang are a more likely pair than those two." Weiss is still a bit shocked by what had just transpired.
"Nope, they did go on a date yesterday. We ran into them after the movie we went to last night. Pyrrha wasn't with us because she had other things to do. I don't know what it was, only she got busy with something. But it seems that it worked for her last night. She was all smiles last night, it seems that their date went well. I am happy for them of course, they both deserve to be happy." Nora confirms that no they are not playing a joke on them.
Ruby and Pyrrha make their way to the library after stopping by the dorms to collect the things that they need for studying. "Can you help with history? I have always had a bit of trouble with it. And because I know you lived through it, who better than you to help me." Pyrrha smirks.
"It is rude to comment on a lady's age you know." Ruby says with heavy sarcasm.
"Oh please you are no lady. Ruby I like you but you know it is true." Pyrrha laughs.
Ruby puts a hand on her heart in fake hurt, "Pyrrha you wound me ever so much. I am not sure if this can work between us if you keep at this. My heart cannot take the pain that you throw at it."
Both look at each other for a moment then bust into a fit of giggles. This goes for a little bit until they are able to calm down enough to actually get to studying. "Before we start, when is that person that you were talking about yesterday coming?" Pyrrha asks.
"Ah that, they are coming tomorrow. A lot sooner than I expected, though it is not unpleasant. Now, what are you having trouble with when it comes to history? This old woman has been through alot after all." Ruby smirks.
Ruby and Pyrrha go over all the studying that they need for a while. Ruby has done this several times already so she had great insight for Pyrrha. Pyrrha loved not just getting ahead in her studies but also spending the day with Ruby was a big bonus as well. She has yet to learn even more about what she should say girlfriend yet. They have only gone on one date but who knows. She does not want to rush things seeing as Ruby will out live her. Now that is a thought, what if things go well for them. Would she want to get turned and live with Ruby forever. That thought causes a blush to dust across her cheeks. It is far too soon to think about that. She should just enjoy her time with Ruby as things are now, everything else can come later.
"Hey you there?" Ruby asks
"Yeah, just a bit lost in thought, don't worry about it." Pyrrha smiles.
"Okay, what were you thinking about?" Ruby asks, being sincere.
"Well it is a bit emerasing, but about the future. I know it is a bit soon but my mind decided to wander and it went there. I could not help it, I was thinking about becoming a vampire and what it would entail. I know that it is far into the future and unlikely as it is. Though I do not mind, I just want to enjoy this time together as it is." Pyrrha blushes a little.
Ruby smirks, "That is so cute. I mean really it is, and do not say anything else. You are right that it would be very far into the future, if it happens at all, but like you said let us just enjoy this time together. Now let us get back to studying tomorrow is a big day after all."
"That reminds me you still have not told me what is going on tomorrow." Pyrrha looks curious.
"You will just have to see. It is a surprise, though I am sure that you will like it." Ruby smiles.
"Alright if you say so, I trust you. Now, what should we study next?" Pyrrha continues.
This goes on for sometime, Pyrrha mostly going over things that she had already known about but also getting ahead of her studying by a little bit with the help of Ruby.
The day comes to a close and Ruby and Pyrrha finish their study time. They walk back to their dorms. "Well, I can not wait to see your surprise tomorrow Ruby."
"I know, I can't wait to show you but right around lunchtime it will happen," Ruby leans in and plants a quick kiss on Pyrrha's lips. "Good night beautiful."
Pyrrha blushes, "Night gorgeous."
Ruby walks into her dorm and sees the rest of her team staring at her. "Training tomorrow, no I do not care if you had plans it is happening."
"Ruby, I really have plans that I can not change." Blake says.
"Let me guess with Sun, like I said I do not care, training will happen at lunchtime and get your business done before then." Ruby snaps.
"Who said that you can tell us what to do. You have no clue what we have going on tomorrow and you just walk in here telling us that we have training screw you I am not going," Weiss all but yells out.
"Who am I, you ask. Did you forget that I am the leader of this team. Professor Ozpin put me in charge whether you like it or not. I thought you got over that a while ago but I have been wrong before. Get over it now because you are stuck with it till we graduate, after that I do not care what you do." Ruby glares at Weiss.
Weiss flinches back at the look Ruby gives her. "Ruby back off you know how Weiss is when people get like that." Yang comes to the defense of Weiss.
"Yang, tell me something I should care about, I have been nice to her from the very beginning and she has been nothing but rude to me and I have had enough of it. I am the leader of this team and all three of you need to accept it. Training will happen tomorrow and if any of you are not there, you will get detention. Yes, the leader of a team can do this. It is just used because the team is supposed to get along and I have not needed to use this power before but I will if I need to. Be ready in training room five by lunchtime." Ruby stares down Yang.
Yang refuses to back down, "Fine we will be there but don't expect any of us to be happy about it."
Ruby laughs a little at that, "Who died and made you queen? Does not matter right now I expect you to be there, all of you. Well I am going to bed, see you tomorrow."
The next day at the training room team RWBY is waiting for Ruby. "Where is that dolt, she told us to be here and yet she has yet to show up." Weiss shakes her head.
Ruby walks in right at that time, with Pyrrha and Ozpin right behind her, "Good you are all here, that saves me time and paperwork. Now we are waiting for one more person until then you are more than likely wondering why Ozpin is here. All will be explained when the last person gets here."
Almost if it was planned the last person walks in. "What it can't be, you're supposed to be dead." Yang shouts out.
The person that walks in looks like an older version of Ruby, "Hey mom it has been a while has it not."
"That is true, sorry but you know why that is." Summer says.
Yang looks like she is about to kill Ruby, "You knew this the whole time and did not tell me. What the hell Ruby, what is wrong with you?"
"First, Yang, it was need to know and you did not need to know. Second, you would have learned about it at some point but, from what I have been told you need a news flash on why Ruby was made team lead. "No problem mom, now to start things off I am going to tell you how it is. I overheard you guys talking shit about me the other day. Now for the most part I could overlook that but, looking back, yeah you guys hate me for now real good reason. The next thing is that you really have no clue who I am really and I can overlook that because you could not have known." Ruby at this point changes her looks to appear to look exactly like Pyrrha. The rest of team RWBY gasps in shock.
"Ruby that is not your semblance what the hell is this about?" Yang yells.
"Well, Yang the thing is I am not human and neither is mom. We are both vampires, I still have my semblance and my powers. Now as to why Ozpin is here, he knows what mom and I are and let us come to school here to renew our huntress license every so often. Under different names of course. But how has Ozpin lived for so long, that is not for me to tell. But now you know why I am the leader, I have done this a few times so it is the obvious choice." Ruby explains.
Yang at this point heard enough and went running at Ruby to attack her. Ruby sees this coming step aside, easily grabbing her arm and throwing Yang back to the area she was at but ends up hitting the wall pretty hard. Hard enough to bring her arua down fifty percent. "Yang!" Weiss and Blake shout out and run to her.
"First lesson, as a vampire I am stronger and faster than any human. The fact that I have been a huntress for hundreds of years only makes me better than just about anyone else. The only other person that can beat me is mom. Second lesson, always expect the unexpected. Yang you think that your strength can overwhelm anyone, for the most part you would be correct, but I am stronger than you will ever be. Weiss all you have is your glyphs, you are a Schnee where are your summons that is something that you need to work on. Blake you do not use the full power of your semblance, there is so much more you can do with it." Ruby at this point shifts back to how she looked before.
Weiss looks scared at this point, she is unsure what to do. Summer steps in, "Look, I may not know what was said, but it just proves that you three are still children. Ruby was acting young to protect everyone. There are always people that want to kill vampires and will go to any lengths to do so. You three, instead of talking things out, or trying to help Ruby out with things that she may have been struggling with. You know, being a good team, you just complained and did nothing at all to help her out. Even though in your mind she got here two years early. You gave up on your leader. That says more about you than it says about Ruby. And from what Ozpin has told me, she was doing just fine. You three had such high expectations for a fifteen year old that when she did not meet them you gave up. That is low, so damn low that even when Raven gave up on being a mother looks almost good, by comparison. You are seventeen and going to Beacon, it is fine to still be a kid in some ways but in other ways you need to grow up."
"Summer here is correct, Weiss, you know what Professor Port said to you on the first day. Has for you Yang, yes they did lie to you. You have every right to be angry, but in a way you brought this on yourself. You did not really raise Ruby from what I understand. You in many ways left her to herself whenever you got the chance and now you are saying it was a pain to raise her. Blake, you have had a hard life. No one is doubting that, but when you have no patience when it comes to other people, even when it is needed. You just make it worse without putting in any effort." Ozpin explains.
"Now let us get to training." Ruby says.
