Bella's Perspective ..

When you can live forever,what do you live for ? You find that when you have unlimited time in your hands but there isn't much to do. I felt like I had watched everything, read everything and seen everything. I guess, it's better though, at least we aren't running from anyone. It is irritating sometimes but I'm quite used to it. We have to shift to different places every 5 years. We have just moved back to Fork. I was wondering if anyone who would remember us would be dead. Felt great to be back to our old cottage. Whenever I return back to Fork, I miss Charlie .

"Mum, I miss Charlie too," Renesmee mumbled.

Taking her hand from my cheeks and holding them in mine, I smiled at her.

Renesmee got married to Jacob, when she was only seven years old, by time she looked fully grown up and she never changed after that.

" When will Jacob be back?" I asked as we walked down the stairs.

" Soon, very soon Mum, I spoke with him last night". Renesmee smiled.

" oh that's great !" "He won't miss it then."

" YAH !" She gushed.

Renesmee's 100th birthday and my 100th vampire birthday was just around the corner. Rose and Alice wanted to throw a big party. I would have fought her but I knew better by now. Edward has seen visions of white flowers, crystals shining tablecloth, ball dancing in his head and so many things.

When he was telling me about all this, it reminded me of my 18th birthday party. I just remember, I hated it. I never wanted to grow older than Edward. I don't have a very good memory of that but yes some things are persistent. The guests list wasn't very large. Me, Edward, our whole vampire family, Seth, Leah, Jacob, Renesmee and their son EJ. EJ looked the same as his grandfather and his father Jacob. they all looked as if they were brothers.

Whenever I think of EJ's name, I can't help but smile. Wolf and Vampires were natural enemies a century ago,competing for me. But now they are a family, and even though Jacob sometimes gets on Edward's nerves, they'll always be a family.

A WEEK LATER...

I was cooking an evening meal in the kitchen. Though me and my vampire family don't eat food. Seth, Leah, Jacob, EJ and sometimes Renesmee eat hence, I wanted to make something special for them. Rose helped me make strawberry chocolate cake.

" I don't think we'll need this much food Bella," Rose commented, giving me a grin.

" We are only feeding 4 people !"

I didn't care, It reminded me of the time I used to cook for Charlie. When I was done I catched up with Family.

"Hey Jake, you are back !"

"How was it?" I exclaimed.

He wrapped his arms around me and whispered in my ears.

"It was fine and I just hope it works according to what we decided."

Jacob's touch had the same warmth and feel that he had before. As he left me, Edward grabbed me from behind and I was in his arms. His grab was as if he was showing 'Bella is only Edward's. All laughed looking at Edward and Jacob.

Renesmee's Perspective...

"C'mon Dad", I smiled. Holding Jacob's hand and we walked away.

"Is everything okay Jake ? You never told me or our family why you flew to Italy ?" I asked, expecting to get an answer from him.

"Relax Nessie," Jacob Smirked.

" How can I relax Jake! Am I the only one who doesn't know anything ?" I was trying to touch Jacob's cheeks to understand him.

"Nessie…!!"

Before Jacob could say or I could touch, EJ arrived.

" Hey Mom and Dad, it's time. What are you guys doing here?" EJ said with exuberant.

"We'll be right back EJ," I said out of seriousness .

" Mum it's 11: 40, only 10 min are left" EJ continued saying …

Jacob took a deep breath and said, "Nessie, we should go, others are waiting for us".

We walked out. By now I was sure there's something Jacob is hiding from me. And now I feel even my family is being furtive. There's definitely some secret, I just hope it's something positive.

"The cake is here," Everybody started cheering and shouting. And the soft music was playing in the background.

Bella's Perspective …

Renesmee and I hold the knife to cut the cake but before we do, the phone rings and everyone turns to look at Edward.

" Who the hell that could be ?" Edward growls.

Before he could grab the phone, we see Volturi appearing on the other side of the clearing.

"Rose, I'm getting a serious case of deja vu" Emmett says.

"What are you doing here Aro", Carlisle says.

Everyone was freaked out but we were kind of expecting it. I was able to see the fear in Alice's eyes.

" What did you see? Tell me what did you see?" I repeated myself again and again.

"Edward, tell me?"

"Ohh Bella ! My darling, come here." Aro says softly.

" What do you want Aro?" Edward shouts and the wolves howl.

I could clearly sense that Volturi wasn't here for good intentions.

I looked at Jacob and gave him the sign that he knows what to do if Volturi attacks us. He held Renesmee's hands and nodded back at me.

" Don't worry Cullens, I am not here for a fight today," Aro says smiling and giving a stare at Renesmee.

" But battle is still on, see you soon Cullens."

Aro, Caius and Marcus turn to Carlisle before turning on their heels and racing into the woods. The remaining guards follow them. This left so many questions and fear among us, and especially Renesmee.

I turned back to my family,

" Battle is still on !!"
