Title: The Future of the league

Summary: The and their family members are sent to the future where they learn that the future league is danger, and they need their help
Chapter 1
Watchtower; June 1, 2:00 pm
The atmosphere of the watchtower was light and happy now with leaguers and the close ones, talking, laughing, and just having fun. It always rare moments when the league just relaxes and have a good time.
Wonder Woman was having a conversation with Black Canary she was talking about recent date with Green Arrow and how serious they were getting, but her mind was somewhere else her eyes drafted the person on her mind the Batman.
The last couple of months have been a very mix of emotions one minute she and him were working together loving the fact that they were near each other, the next minute they were at each other throats yell at the to of their lungs. Why was it always so hard for them to express their feelings.
A hand on her arm pulled Wonder Woman out of her thoughts "Diana did you hear what I said?" Canary asked
"No, sorry my mind was some where else, what were you saying" Diana replied
"I was saying that me and arrow are thinking about the future, but I thinking you are having a more interesting conversation in your head." Canary told her raising one eyebrow.
"I was just thinking why it is so hard for Bruce to tell my how he feels. I know he has a hard time expressing anything, but we have been friend for years." Diana said
"You know him Diana, Bruce never shows emotion no matter what is happening, he is an emotional black hole" Canary told him.
"I know but, when I think I am over him my heart just tells me something different. I just can't stop thinking about him." Diana told her.
Diana looked back at him just as Superman walks up to batman who is standing alone in a corner by himself.
Superman was walking to the one person who seemed like he hated to be around friends and family. He was standing by himself alone with the same blank express on his face.
"You could try to be more friendly at these parties, its not everyday we get to celebrate like this" Superman said
"I just think that this is to much and pointless were heroes, we should be focusing on more on problems in the world" Batman stated
"We do focus on those problems but sometimes you have to enjoy the good times in life while doing what we do" Superman said as he looked over to his wife Lois Lane talking to other Aquaman and Mera "You know the rest of the bat family seems to be having fun maybe you could act more like them." Superman said
"Kent, I did not join to have fun, I joined to save the earth and keep an eye on all of you to make sure you don't go mad with power." Batman said
At that moment Diana walked up to but see could see that they were already in small argument about something.
"What is the problem now" she asked with an eyebrow raised
"Bruce thinks that we should be focus more on crime instead of just relaxing for one in our life." Superman said crossing his arm over his chest
"Bruce we are always working it has been a while since we could just hang out with each other with out the world in danger" Diana said
That is what we are here for Diana to save the world not become friends, and things like this party are unnecessary" Batman said
"Bruce you can not say that we have to mean more to you than just co-workers all doing the same job whatsoever" she said her anger beginning to raise
"Hey, you two maybe we should not be fighting right now" Superman said but it seems that both ignore him
"Diana, I did not say that I am just saying that we all should all act more professional, and preparing for the next world ending event" Bruce said
'The world not so dark and gloomy Bruce like you see it, it you expand your mind more you could enjoy" Diana yelled back causing many people to turn towards them.
While everyone was distracted with another one of Batman and Wonder woman fight, they failed to notice a strange energy wave headed right towards the watchtower. It had a purplish and green glow and an electrical charge. It came from earth.
When the energy hit the watchtower, it caused the entire thing to shake and the power to go off and on. The tower began to shake, people were finding it hard to stand up, things that were not tried down to begin to fly everywhere, and the tower itself began to change
This continued for about a minute until everything came to a stop when everyone regains composer, they all looked around at the tower it seemed older but also new at the same time, they were in the founders room but instead of 14 chairs there was only 8 of them. There were also more monitors and a world map that included both Atlantis and paradise island.
"What happened" Flash asked as he was helping his wife up before moving on to others who need it
"I do not know but I got a feeling that we are not where we should be" Superman said while also checking on Lois
Batman approached one of the monitors to see if he could learn any new information about what is happening and how to get out of it. Everybody else was making sure no one was hurt or severely injured
"Did you find anything" Diana asked as she walked up behind Batman
"Not yet this code is a little hard to crack, and heavily encrypted just like the one in bat-cave I have" He said not turning around to look at her
"Thank you I try to make sure not can hack into my work" said a strange and unknown voice behind them
All the heroes turned away an saw a man who was dressed like batman, but his masked cover his whole face, the bat-symbol on chest had a bright golden outline, He was taller and had more muscle mass than the batman they know, and he seemed to have a accent of some kind.
"But the real question is what you are doing here" The new Batman said as he walked up to the group of heroes
"We were having a party and the next thing we knew we were here" Superman said as he walked up to the new Batman "We did not mean to caused trouble"
"Do not worry Uncle Clark, I not here for a fight. You tripped the alarm when you arrived, and I came to check out who did it." The new batman said.
"How do you know many name" Superman said with a shock face
"Where are my matter" the new batman said while taking off his helmet "My name is Thomas Apollo Wayne"
