Lightning strikes brightening through the dark sky...
Fire rages everywhere...
Battle cries are heared all over the land...
A huge explosion takes place in the middle of a destroyed village, forming a huge crater. The area was then clouded in smoke. Once the smoke cleared a bit you could see four shadows on the left edge of the crater, but due to the amount of smoke in the air it was hard to tell what this shadows are. They appear to be some kind of big creatures with wings. Their eyes are glowing in different colors... green, yellow, blue...
On the right side of the crater facing them where four humen like creatures which also had wings. Each one of them was glowing in a different color... pink, green, yellow and purple.
For a moment there was nothing but deep silence...
"I never thought that you and your brothers would went this far..." Came a female voice of the shadow who was surrounded by the pink light and stood in front of the other three.
"Me and my brothers will send you and your sisters to where we have send all the others..." The big creature who stood in front replied. The three shadows behind it growled in agreement.
"So there is no other choice but to do it this way, huh ?" The female shadow said with sadness. She then held out her right arm and a sword appeared in her right hand.
"That´s right." The shadow creature started to glow red. "This world will burn... and turn into nothing but dust !"
"Not as long as we are around !"
Both frontstayers then jumped into the air. They clashed against each other and a bright white light devoured everything...

Ever since I was little, I loved hearing such stories or reading them in a book, and I loved watching movies which took place in such worlds. Sometimes, I wished I could live in such a world... I wished I could live such a life... having magic powers... befriend magic beings like dragons... being a real hero... someone others would look up to... an idol... I would give anything to have such a life.
To be honest, it´s not like I hate the life I live but... I always had the feeling that something wasn´t right. That something was missing. That this wasn´t the life I was supposed to live...
The more time passed, the more this wish became a distant dream... but then everything changed... and I started to realize and understand that all the things I dreamed of... were only a small part of how such a life really is. However..." )

Opening sequence
"I know this sounds weird, but one night when I was little, my whole world changed. You see, strange cards started dropping from the sky, coming down like rain. At first we didn´t know where they were coming from or why. We only knew they were more than just ordinary game-cards. And it was happening all around the world. In the north... the south... the west... the east... they landed everywhere. My friends and I, together with our new online friends from all around the world, we invented a breathtaking new game we called ´Dimension Battles´.
That´s when the power of the cards was revealed. Each one contained its own Battle-Monster which came to life when you threw its card onto the right spot on the battle-field. The battles were intense, and if you choose the wrong support card, you quickly ended up as the defeated one.
It all felt so unreal at first, but as time went on, everyone got used to it. We all were enjoying this new game so much... no one of us was aware that fate would soon show us that there was much more behind these cards that anyone of us could have ever imagined."
A story where little things are the same, and many things are new ! Follow our heroes as a fateful day opens them a path towards a never ending adventure which will be filled with friendship, fun, challenges, love, loyalty, seriousness, danger, sadness, pain, death, tension, cohesion, intense battles, and magic !
A story that combines aspects of all my favorite anime-shows !
