James Rake walked into the church. He didn't pray very much, but he thought now would be a good time. He sat down on the wooden bench and prayed. Prayed that he would be okay.

After a few minutes, James walked out of the building. It was snowing a little but James didn't care. He was too busy thinking about the Covenant. The Covenant, an alien Empire from the fandom called Halo, had been attacking other fandoms. Ever since James had become a Marine, all he had heard was that he was going to be fighting the Covenant alongside other fandoms.

He then bumped into somebody. He was looking at Lightning Dust, a character from the My Little Pony fandom."Oh...uh, h-hi, Lightning." He said."It's me, your neighbor."

The cyan pegasus smiled."I know who you are, James."

"So, you pray now? I didn't know Equestria had Christianity." He said, a little surprised that she was here.

"Huh? Oh! Naw, I'm just here because me and Rainbow Dash are going to race later so I thought the starting place should be here." She explained.

"Your friends with Rainbow Dash again?"

Lightning Dust scoffed."As if. I just want to prove that I'm the fastest flyer ever."

"I joined the Marines." He said randomly."I thought I'd do my bit."

"Oh." She said."Well, take care of yourself."

"Maybe I'll-" Lightning Dust then flew into the church."-Write you." He sighed.

"Tucker!" Leonard L. Church, from Red Vs. Blue, yelled across the room full of characters from different fandoms."Your late!"

"Yeah, I know. I just wanted to piss you off." Tucker, also from Red vs. Blue, said, laughing a little.

"Tucker, this is important!" Church exclaimed.

"Do you need to yell so loud?" Asked Tony Stark, from Marvel.

"Fuck you, Iron Man!" Church said, turning to the superhero.

"Hey, don't disrespect him! Iron Man is cool!" Grif, from Red Vs Blue, said.

"Can't we all just get along?" Asked Twilight Sparkle, from My Little Pony, with a smile."We are supposed to be working together."

"She's right." Sarge, from Red vs. Blue, said, walking into the room. He then headed over to a huge map that was on the wall. On the right side of the map, it showed the Galactic Empire and Hydra and what they had conquered. On the left side, it showed the Covenant.

"Now, I have brought you all here today because we need to join forces. All of us." Sarge said, looking at them.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but this room is a little crowded." Said Rarity from My Little Pony.

"Yeah, was it really a good idea to use this small from for your speech, Sarge?" Simmons, from Red vs. Blue, asked.

"Shut up! As I was saying, we need to work together unless we want the Covenant to rule every fandom ever." Sarge said."Now, don't worry about the Galactic Empire and Hydra. Those two can wait."

"Taking down the Empire is a piece of cake." Said Luke Skywalker from Star Wars."I just blew up the Death Star at Yavin. I mean, what's Palpatine gonna do? Build a second Death Star?" Everybody in the room then laughed at the idea.

"Now, in order to defeat the Covenant, we'll have to fight them on islands that we have never heard of," Sarge explained.

"Wait, were going to the island from ABC's Lost?!" Simmons asked, excited.

"No!" Sarge yelled."Now, what we will be doing will be tough. It will be bloody. But it will all be worth it."

"Uh, quick question." Said Dennis Reynolds from It's Always Sunny in Philadephia."If we fight in this war, will we be paid?" Sarge nodded. Dennis then looked to his friends who worked at Paddy's Pub."Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?"

Mac and Charlie nodded while Dennis's sister, Deandra, just looked at them as if they had gone crazy."What?! I'm not fighting in a war!" She then walked to the door."Screw this!" Dee then slammed the door.

"Well, that just means more money for us!" Mac smiled.

"Wait!" Said Steven Universe from Steven Universe."What if we just befriend the Covenant?"

"I seriously doubt that's gonna work," Simmons said.

"Go for it," Encouraged Grif.

Simmons looked at Grif, surprised."You actually think he can be friends with the Covenant?"

"No," Grif whispered."I just want to see him get killed by the aliens."

Sarge sighed."This is going to be a long war." He muttered.

James's father drove him to the airport. The car broke down once they made it there."Damn thing." His father said, annoyed. James and his father got out of the car. He grabbed his suitcase while his father checked the engine.

"Well, dad, I'm going," James told his dad. Everyone in James's family had hugged him before he left. Everyone but his father.

"That's great, son." His father said, not even looking at him.

"I'm going to fight in a war against a bunch of aliens."

"Good luck."

...

"I'm going to commit a bunch of war crimes and kill a bunch of children," James said, hoping for his father to look at him.

"I'm sure you'll do great." He said.

James sighed. He then walked away. His mother had been crying when she learned he was going to fight the Covenant and Jame's brother, Tom Rake, looked at him sadly. And all his father could worry about was his car.

James looked at his dad one more time before he walked into the airport.

On the Rebel Alliance heavy Star Cruiser known as the Home One, James was in the cafeteria that was full of characters from multiple fandoms.

"What is this stuff?!" Exclaimed Dennis after taking a bite out of the food that the Rebels had served him.

"I don't know, but It's not bad." Said Charlie Kelly, from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, taking a bite out of it.

"So, why are we here?" Asked Yerga from Star Wars.

Rainbow Dash, from My Little Pony, shrugged."I don't know. Something about the Covenant taking over a hyperspace route...whatever that means."

"All right, everybody!" Yelled Sarge."Who's ready to die?!"

Everybody stared at him.

"I mean...uh...ah, fuck it. Just meet me in the hangar so you can hear my speech." The sergeant said before walking away. They all left the cafeteria, wondering what awaited them.

"Alright," Sarge began. He was standing on top of a crate, looking at all of the fandoms."The Covenant may have started this war, but I promise you we will finish it."

"Fuck yeah we will!" Tank Dempsey, from Call of Duty, yelled in agreement.

"Now, those aliens want to use that island and Its ships to destroy. You guys will hit the beach. Keep moving till you rendezvous point some primary objectives or whatever. When you see a Covenant alien, kill them all!"

"I still think we can befriend them." Steven Universe said.

"Yeah, I think we can, kid!" Said Frank Woods from Call of Duty. Woods then turned to Taskmaster from Marvel."Ten bucks he gets shot in the first five seconds of the battle." He whispered.

"You're on." Taskmaster whispered.

"Everybody, get into the gunships." Sarge said."Let's kill some aliens!"

They all got onto the LAAT's that took them out of the Home One. In one of the LAAT's, everybody was silent.

"Ugh, I'm so bored." Rainbow Dash said.

"Bored? We are about to be fucking killed probably!" Grif yelled.

"Yeah! The Smoke Monster from Lost is going to kill us!" Simmons said, scared.

"For the last time, this is not the island from lost!" James Rake snapped. He quickly thought of everything he had done in his life. He heard the ship then touch the ground. James and everyone else ran out.

He was looking at their own soldiers who were relaxing or were moving stuff.

James breathed a sigh of relief.

"Wow...I thought we're really gonna die." Grif said.

Later, after thirty minutes of relaxing, they were walking through the jungle. James saw that a tree had fallen on a Covenant military vehicle."Wow, it sure is a hot day!" Said Frank DuFresne, also known as Doc, from Red vs. Blue.

They walked deeper into the forest. Sweat fell down James's face. Birds called and mosquitoes buzzed.

As they walked, James saw something. He saw two soldiers, one of them with their head cut off and the other with his eyeballs gouged out. He was disgusted.

It was raining when James was keeping a lookout for any Covenant soldiers while everyone was asleep. It was hard to see anything through the dark night.

Suddenly, he heard someone yell."Shoot him!" James recognized the voice as Church's. Everyone then started firing in random directions.

"Stop!" Yelled Sarge. They did so.

It was morning when they saw that they had killed Doc. James saw Grif and Simmons digging a grave for him.

"He went to take a piss." Said Sarge."Somebody then shot him."

"Oh, that was me," Church admitted but James heard no guilt in his voice.

"What?! Did he say the password?" The red sergeant asked.

"Yeah, he did. I still shot him anyway because he was annoying."

"He was the medic!" Simmons said.

"Well, he wasn't a very good one. He nearly killed Sarge with our own jeep, remember?" Grif pointed.

"Oh, right."

"Hey, we took the airfield!" Said Grif, looking at smoke coming from it. After walking for nearly an hour, they were finally able to rest again. Grif turned to Sarge."So, can we go home now?"

"But we haven't even seen any polar bears!" Said Simmons, sad.

"Oh my gosh, will you shut the fuck up about Lost?!" Grif said, annoyed with his teammate.

They were unable to sleep that night since the Rebel Alliance ships were fighting the Covenant ships in the sky.

"Wow! Fireworks!" Said Caboose from Red vs. Blue. Nobody bothered to tell him that they were explosions.

An entire ship then blew up. It was hard to tell if it was Rebel or Covenant.

In the morning, James learned that Admiral Ackbar had been losing the battle. The Admiral had turned and left with what ships he had left.

"Were on our own." Sarge had said.

It was night again. They had set up on the beach and were waiting for what they were going to do next. James then saw something."Movement!" He yelled."I see movement!" He grabbed the machine gun and pointed it across the stream to the jungle.

Everyone was silent. Finally, lasers came out of the trees and came towards them.

"Oh, shit!" Grif yelled."Sir, permission to panic?"

"Permission denied," Sarge said. He then cocked his shotgun."Today's a good day to die!"

"Ha! Fools you can't kill me!" Taskmaster laughed before a laser destroyed his head.

James noticed some Sangheili aliens trying to flank them. He grabbed the machine gun and crawled as laser fire went over him.

"So, are you bored now?!" Grif yelled to Rainbow Dash as he returned fire.

"This is crazy!" Rainbow exclaimed."I gotta get out of here!"

"Don't run, you coward!" Sarge yelled at the pegasus.

"Uh, okay!" Rainbow Dash yelled back, flapping her wings so she could fly.

"And don't fly away either!" Sarge said quickly. The mare groaned and hid in one of the holes they had dug in the sand.

James finally stopped and put up the machine gun. He then started firing at the Sangheili warriors. Their armor could only protect them for so long. James saw them walking across the stream. They all started to fall down one by one.

"Blargh! Honk!" Yelled one of the Sangheili.

James kept shooting them.

The sun was out in the morning. Dead Covenant soldiers laid on the sandy beach while we're in the water. James didn't know how many he had killed last night. And he didn't want to know.

They were still prepared for more Covenant soldiers to come. James looked to see Grif and Simmons hand him a box of ammo for the machine gun.

He noticed one Sangheili warrior's move."Hey, we got a live one here." Said Yerga. She and two other soldiers grabbed the injured alien warrior. The Sangheili then pulled out a grenade. Once it exploded, Yerga and the soldiers were blown into bits.

Across the stream, three Sangheili warriors then came out of the jungle. They shot two of the Covenant soldier while one quickly went prone. The Sangheili stood up and looked at them. He tried to escape but a bullet hit the ground, stopping him. He ran back and forth but the soldiers continued trying to shoot him as if it were a game. Some of them even laughed.

The Sangheili then yelled, crying. He walked into the stream while the soldiers just kept laughing at him. He saw Grif shoot him in the arm. The alien warrior still crying, yelling in a language that James didn't understand.

James pulled out his pistol and aimed it at the Covenant warrior. He pulled the trigger...and missed. He fired his gun again...and missed. He finally shot the alien in the chest.

"That was the worst shooting ever." Church commented, noticing how he had missed the first two times.

"At least he hit his target. You can't shoot anything, Church." Tucker said.

"Not true. I did shoot Caboose's toe." Church pointed out.

James only ignored them.
