(Side note:this story deletes a few moments and plots from the past: Garth only cheated with Claws,Claws and Scar are still married and Lilly never met Frost.
It has been a 3 months since the Shademaker incident and although the threat of a future attack by Shademaker has everyone frightened they choose not to worry about that now they choose to move on with their lives and continue on as if nothing happened.
It was December in the united tribe and today was different as there was a terrible blizzard and everyone scrambled to find shelter but there were wolves that was still out there in that mess and those wolves names were Lilly and Humphrey.
Before the blizzard started Humphrey and Lilly were hanging out and talking about omega things until the blizzard hit.
Snow was falling at a alarming rate as the wind blew powerfully as the omegas struggled to find their way through the blizzard.
Lilly and Humphrey shielded their eyes from the winds and snow which were not helping at all "where are we?" Lilly asked humphrey because she wasn't even sure if she was the united tribe territory anymore.
Humphrey removed his arm from his vision and saw only white nothing looked familiar to him at all and that was a problem. "Yeah i think we're lost."Humphrey said in an we're screwed tone then Lilly laughed sarcastically.
"Well that's just great we're lost in a blizzard."
Lilly's laughing stopping for a second before continued to walk through the blizzard lilly stopped laughing then sighed "well at least it can't get any worse than this." She said oh but it can get worse because the blizzard and being lost is the least of her worries no it's not the plummeting temperature wolves can endure that but it was the fact that nightfall was coming as she could tell as everything was getting dark and she knew she couldn't walk around outside forever and that she had to seek shelter from the blizzard.
"Oh no It's getting dark we're gonna be really lost if we stay out here."Humphrey said looking at the cloudy sky changing to a dark shade Lilly looked around for some kind of shelter and too her surprise and relief there was out to the distance was a cave "Over there!"she exclaimed humphrey looked to where she was pointing and saw the cave "oh thank you Fenrir."Hump said running over into the cave with Lilly with happiness and relief "oh sweet sweet Shelter."Lilly said as she entered the cave she was greatly surprised at how spacious it was it could probably fit 10 people at the max.
Knowing that they would be stuck here until the blizzard let up so they decided to make themselves comfortable. They went to the back of the den and sat down,it was after they did that they started hearing footsteps Lilly looked outside with complete nervousness fearing they were in someone elses cave and this is the owner coming home.
"Humphrey someone's coming,i think this is someone else's cave!"lilly said in a panicked tone.
A million thoughts ran through Humphrey's head as he tried to figure out what to do but it was too late the figure walked into the den and reveal which revealed itself to be a wolf with Silver fur similar to Lilly's and blue eyes he also has a slightly muscular frame and looked a year older than Lilly.
The wolf immediately noticed Lilly and humphrey "Oh I'm sorry i didn't know someone already lived here." The wolf stammered shaking the snow from his fur.
Lilly squeaked as Humphrey cleared his throat regaining his composure "um no we..we was seeking shelter from the blizzard." "You too huh,well no reason we can't share there's plenty of room,name's North."he said stretching out a hand "Lilly."Lilly said shaking his hand "Humphrey." Greeted North made a face as those names sounded familiar to him.
"Wait a tick Lilly and Humphrey?,the very same Humphrey and Lilly of the Western tribe?!, the tribe that abolished the law that says alphas and omegas can't marry thus allowing you two marry the alphas you loved thus uniting two warring tribes?"
Lilly and Humphrey wasn't all that shocked that this strange wolf knew about that little event pretty much half the world knows about it stories travel fast.
"Yes we are."Lilly said proudly North laughed clapping his hands "Spunk little missy guys got spunk announcing your love like that in front of everyone sheer bravery,By the way how are you marriages.
"me and Kate are still going strong,we even have 3 pups of our own."Humphrey said proudly while Lilly has a discontent look on her face "garth and i are having trust issues right now."
North looked at Lilly with concern "woah what happened?!" Lilly bit her lower lip not really wanting to discuss her this with someone she just met but she felt like he had to know.
"Well i discovered that he hasn't been faithful and he has a pup with another alpha,and my sister has kept that from me for many months until i found out about it through the gossip of several wolves."lilly said with rising anger frightening North and Humphrey who stared at her.
"Uh..let's Forget i asked that,anyway i must assume your tribe treats omegas better now than they did before right?"
Lilly or Humphrey couldn't quite give a correct or incorrect answer to that because truthfully Omegas weren't exactly treated extremely badly they were still looked down on but they were still treated fairly it was until after the marriage omegas were treated much better than before.
"Omegas weren't exactly treated badly but they weren't treated great either so I'd like to say yeah."Humphrey said with a smile this made North wheeze a laugh then he stopped and looked down at the ground with a little hit of sadness.
"It's a shame my tribe never followed your example."
Lilly cocked her head to the side in confusion "Your tribe?" North sat down and Lilly and humphrey sat down with him. North continued staring at the ground "I'm from a tribe way up in Alaska,a tribe that has it's demons such as Omega bashing i should know I'm an omega myself and i took some of the full force of it."
Lilly and Humphrey stared at North with complete sympathy as he continued "you would think that being the son of the Tribe leader people would lay off a bit you but that's not the case ,it's because you're the leader's son you get the most disrespect,especially from your parents,Dad wanted a powerful alpha son a son he could be proud of but no Fenrir gave him a goofball everyday one night he went on this random rant about how he had no son and mom...mom just stood there with this indifferent look on her face."
Hearing this broke Lilly's heart and made Humphrey angry "After that i just left i left and i didn't look back I've been a lone wolf for a year roaming around until i ended up here."North said Lilly and humphrey felt extremely bad for North no one should have to go through that much verbal abuse it's completely awful and inhumane.
Lilly immediately thought of a way to make North feel better "hey if it makes you feel better our tribe isn't as glamorous as we make ourselves out to be." North reeled back in shock "What?!"
"Yeah In fact we have it the worst,what if i told you we had a run in with the supernatural?"Humphrey said in spooky voice
North stared at Humphrey with complete fear and nervousness "The...supernatural?" "Yep just a couple of months ago we found out the Shademaker was real." This is the part North wet himself he heard stories of the Shademaker and they were not pleasant to hear. Humphrey said.
North whistled "man you guys are really jacked up." Lilly chuckled wryly "yeah but we do have some unforgettable and hilarious mishaps and adventures."
Hours later
Nightfell as Lilly,Humphrey and North were laughing as they were telling stories of the Embarrassing mishaps of the United tribe Lilly was currently telling north about the time Winston pissed off a Hornet nest.
"The entire swarm chased him all the way to Texas."Lilly laughed loudly "Oh man that must've sucked."North laughed. "You think that's bad i should tell you about what happened at me and Kate's Honeymoon."
Lilly gasped glaring at Humphrey like he did something bad "Humphrey you know you're not supposed to talk about that." "I know,but it's too legendary to not talk about it,a fun fact North Me and Kate are not allowed in Florida,I can't get into the details but it's mostly Kate's fault."
"Humphrey!"Lilly scolded shocked Humphrey would throw Kate under the bus like that.
North laughed "your tribe sound like tons of fun i would be blessed to be in it."
Humphrey and Lilly stared at North and then each other then back at him "Yes..yes you would."
"Heh Well I'm going to sleep hope fully when i wake the storm would be over.,good night." North said moving to the back of the den and laid down and began to sleep Lilly and Humphrey looked at each other "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Humphrey asked in a hushed tone "Yeah we invite him to stay in our tribe."Lilly responded in a similar to
"Yeah we're always open to new members."Humphrey said
"plus we can give him the love and respect he deserves."Lilly finished both omegas silently high fived each other then proceeded to join North in dreamland.
Several hours later
The blizzard was still raging as Humphrey woke up because he had to use the bathroom,even though it was snowing hard Humphrey didn't care at the moment. Humphrey walked outside and used the bathroom on a tree nearby after that he began to head back until he froze.
His ears picked up on the faint sound of heavy footsteps,Humphrey immediately could tell it was something big heading his way. Humphrey scanned the darkness for anything then after a second of looking his eyes rested on the dark Mammoth frame silhouette of a bear.
Humphrey gulped in fear if there's one thing on earth he hates more than Moose It's bears,Humphrey's fear was amplified to the max as he realized the bear was stomping towards the cave no doubt to seek shelter from the snow.
Humphrey immediately rushed to the cave and woke up Lilly and North "Humphrey what's wrong?" Lilly asked stirring awake "There's a big bear coming!"Humphrey exclaimed North nearly had a heart attack "a bear that's it we're dead!"
Lilly stood up and looked outside and saw the bear coming lilly knew bears had a bad reputation in the wolf community as being big mean brutes who pick on or kill wolves just for the fun of it,but that's not always the case as some bears would want nothing to do wolves and just avoid them or they could be friendly.
Lilly began deducing that they might be over reacting thinking that the bear would kill them given the outside situation its possible that the bear could be seeking shelter from the blizzard.
"Guys wait a second what are we thinking that bear's not going to kill us."lilly said "How would you know are you the bear whisperer?"North asked "Yeah?"Humphrey exclaimed lilly rolled her eyes "look I'm just saying that maybe he's coming here to get out of the blizzard."
"The heck he's doing out there anyways i thought bears sleep during the winter?"North stated offended "look Lilly bears are nothing more than big bullies they're not nice."
Lilly crossed her arms "You're just saying that because you were almost mauled by one who was just protecting her cub." Humphrey frowned at that memory several years ago Humphrey and Kate encountered a bear cub and played with it the bear cub threw a snow ball at Humphrey so he threw one back causing the cub to cry for some reason which angered the momma bear who proceeded to chase Humphrey off a cliff.
"Hey i just threw one freaking harmless snowball at her and her mom gets triggered,Lilly bears are jerks end of discussion." North was looking outside and noticed the bear was mere feet from the cave "Guys he's almost here!"
Humphrey began hyperventilating "oh Fenrir this is it I'm dead that bear is gonna rip off my face and use it to wipe his rear end!" Lilly slapped Humphrey upside his head "Will you stop it Humphrey he's not going to use your face like that."
Lilly looked to see that the bear was already at the entrance Lilly forgot how massive bears were the bear easily towered over her at a frightening 8 feet at best. Lilly looked up and down at the bear noting that he wore typical barbarian armor and his massive muscles were secretly intimidating her "Fenrir have mercy."Lilly mumbled before clearing her throat "Um hi Mr...bear,are here to get away from the storm?" The bear only made a grunting sound which Lilly took as a yes answer.
"Uh..well so are we,and since this is a big cave there's no reason for us to share this cave temporally,so how about it big guy?"the bear stared intensely at Lilly then looked at Humphrey and North then at the cave itself for a good long minute before setting his eyes on Lilly then he gently put his massive hand on the top of Lilly shoulder making her giggle then the bear spoke in a gruff voice which shook the cave.
"I'm not the sharing type."
Lilly's smile faded to confusion "What Aaahhh!!!"then Lilly immediately found herself flying through the air and out of the cave she landed head first into the snow about 80 yards away with a soft thud.
Humphrey and North couldn't believe what just happened the bear just tossed Lilly out the bear glared at Humphrey and North who put there hands up "You can keep it."North meekly said as he and Humphrey ran out the bear grinned with satisfaction as he watched them go.
Humphrey and North ran over to lilly who was still face down in the snow with her butt in the air "i hate to say i told you so..."Humphrey said but he stopped himself when he saw Lilly giving him a scary look. Lilly then stood up and looked at the cave with complete anger she couldn't believe that a bear manhandled her in such a manner just when she thought he was nice and was willing to share a comfortable space with him.
Lilly clenched her fists as she decided to get a few last words "Fine keep the stinking cave we were bored with it anyways it's lame,in fact i hope it collapses on top of you you big dumb muscular...!"lilly shouted but then stopped as she saw the bear come out with a angry expression on his face Humphrey immediately pulled Lilly away running for the hills with North following them.
Later
The 3 omegas walked for the next hour there was a bright side to this little situation the blizzard stopped and the sky was beginning to turn blue even better they were in the middle their territory how did the know Kate was standing in the middle of a field with Garth hutch and several alphas which was a search party when they saw Humphrey and Lilly they leaped for joy "Humphrey Lilly you're alive were so worried!"kate said running towards them and hugging them tightly she then looked them over.
"Are you two ok what happened?"Hutch asked with concern "oh it was awful first me and Lilly get lost in a blizzard and then a bear kicks us out of the cave we were staying in."Humphrey said "Oh you poor things."kate said with sympathy Garth approached Lilly "I'm really glad you're ok."Garth said sincerely lilly wanted to believe that but she just couldn't "Sure you were."she said snidely garth frowned then he noticed North standing behind her "Who's this?"Garth asked in a rude tone "This is North a lone wolf from Alaska we met."Lilly said.
Kate approached North with a smile "Well nice to meet you North,I'm Kate." "oh i know who you are I'm a huge fan of yours Humphrey has told me a lot of great Things about you,he even told me the reason you two aren't welcome in Florida."
Kate stated at North with a smile on her face "he told you about Florida?"Kate asked through clenched teeth Humphrey immediately could tell she was beyond upset kate slowly turned her head towards with a smile still on her face Humphrey chuckled nervously "You're sleeping outside tonight."Kate said through clenched teeth.
"You guys must be exhausted let's get them inside."Hutch said "Yes I'm interested to know more about you North."Kate said.
Later
The sun rose high in the sky as everyone began to wake up meanwhile North was sitting in front of Kate telling her about his origin which kate found extremely sad and infuriating "That is just completely disgusting and i though the southern tribe was bad."
"Kate i was hoping you would have him join our tribe."Lilly said in a hopeful tone "of course he can welcome to the family North." Kate said with a smile North was ecstatic as he now has a tribe that will treat him with the love and respect he deserves. Lilly stood up "Come on North let me show you around there's some people i want you to meet."Lilly walked out with north while Kate and Humphrey watched as the New member of the tribe was going to meet everyone and begin his new life as a united tribe member.
