Author's Note: Hello, everyone! Here is a Finding Nemo one-shot. This takes place when the fish have kids.
Also, note that I changed the name of Gill and Peach's daughter 'Malachi' to 'Mal'; sorry about that.

Anyway, favs and follows are always accepted; be sure to R&R! Hope you enjoy! ^_^

It was a beautiful afternoon in the Great Barrier Reef. The school has come to an end.

Marlin, Bubbles and Deb were strolling with their children Nemo and Trixie, along with their best friends Sheldon, Tad and Pearl, along with their fathers Bill, Bob and Ted.

"So, Nemo, how's school?" Marlin asked.

"It went well, dad! Trixie's been saved, safe and sound," Nemo replied.

"Aww, that's sweet, Nemo! You're becoming an overprotective cousin," Deb said sweetly.

"Like your dad," Bubbles added in agreement.

"Trixie's doing very well," Tad said.

"She's gone pretty smooth. We even stopped the mean kids from bullying us, and even Trixie," Sheldon added.

"Yep! Trixie was only the younger one in our class. But we are glad she tells us for help," Pearl agreed.

Their fathers felt awed at their kid's sentence.

As Marlin noticed a school note, he said,

"Guys, what's this?"

"I dunno? Some sort of a note?" Bill questioned.

"Well, Marley open up!" Bob insisted.

Marlin nodded, and opened up the note, which read,

Dear, Parents,

Today has planned a parent/teacher conferences after school. It starts from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M., This conference is about what your children did during school. We hope to see you tonight! From,

Mr. Ray

"What does it say?" Ted asked.

"Parent and teacher conferences is tonight," Marlin responded.

"Oh, well, I think Gill, Dory and the other Tank Gang members would babysit Nemo and Trixie for us," Bubbles added.

"That's a good idea!" Deb replied.

"Hello, everyone!" A voice called.

The others spotted the den. It was Dory, who was holding hers and Marlin's daughter Andrea in her fins, along with Gill, who was holding his and Peach's daughter Rosemary in his fins, and the other Tank Gang members.

"Hi, Dory!" Marlin called.

"Hello, Gill!" Nemo called as well.

Trixie shyly waved with excitement.

"Hey there, Sharkbait!" Gill replied back and went over to Nemo and Trixie, who were with Sheldon, Tad and Pearl.

Gill embraced his new-coming nephew Nemo, and eventually his niece Trixie, who giggled.

"Uncle Gill!" she said cheerfully.

"Hello, Gill!" Deb said as Bubbles waved.

"Hi, Bubbles and Deb! How are things going with your children at school?" Gill questioned kindly.

"Pretty smooth," Bubbles replied.

"There's a parent/teacher conferences tonight," Marlin added,

"So we were wondering if you could watch Nemo and Trixie for us."

"Of course, honeys! We will do that," Peach agreed sweetly.

"And also our kids Sheldon, Tad and Pearl, too?" Bob chimed in, as Bill and Ted agreed as well.

"Sure thing, gentlemen," Gill replied.

Bill, Bob and Ted smiled at that remark. Then, they made their goodbye to Gill, Dory and the other Tank Gang members with Nemo, Trixie, Andrea, Mal, Sheldon, Tad and Pearl, leaving them there with Bubbles, Deb and Marlin, who called out,

"We shouldn't be gone for long!"

Marlin, Bubbles, Deb, Bill, Bob and Ted were swimming their way to school for conferences with their children's teacher. The other kids' parents are coming as well. As they all went inside the schoolroom and took their seats, Mr. Ray approached the conference room.

"Hello, parents! Welcome to the parent/teacher conferences," he said mannerly.

The fish parents smiled in greet.

"I'm here to tell you what your kids did so far," Mr. Ray continued,

"You, Bubbles, Deb, are you Trixie's parents?"

"Yes, we are, sir," Deb replied.

"How's she going?" Bubbles asked.

"She did great in making new friends while scared for the first time. So, yes, she is doing perfect thanks to your son, Marlin," Mr. Ray replied.

Marlin smiled at that remark.

"Your kids did the same," Mr. Ray said to Bill, Bob and Ted.

The three fathers smiled at that remark, as if their kids made friends with Trixie during school.

Much, much, later...

It was getting very late at night; the moonlight shines through the ocean. The parents thanked Mr. Ray, who nodded with gratitude, for the parent/teach conferences invites.

"We're home!" Marlin called.

Bubbles and Deb were following him all the way home as well. Bill, Bob and Ted were here as well.

"Welcome home, everyone!" Dory called cheerfully while holding Andrea.

At that remark, Marlin smiled and nuzzled her with passion. Dory blushed and did the same to Marlin. Andrea climbs out of her mother's fins and swims over to her father. Marlin smiled and returned it.

Mal swims from the Tank Gang and hugged her aunt Deb and uncle Bubbles. The two felt awed and returned it. Gill, Peach, Gurgle, Bloat and Jacques came on greet as well.

"How's everything, folks?" Gill asked.

"It was great!" Deb said excitedly,

"Our kids have been doing great so far! Nemo and Trixie have been good at making new friends at school," Marlin added.

Sheldon, Tad and Pearl spotted their parents, and hugged them excitedly. Bill, Bob and Ted returned it. Then, they thanked the Tank Gang for watching Sheldon, Tad and Pearl for them. The Tank Gang smiled and nodded back.

It was nighttime and late; the moonlight shone through the ocean slides.

As Nemo and Trixie bid Sheldon, Tad and Pearl goodbye, their parents did the same to each other. Once Sheldon, Tad and Pearl left with their parents, Nemo, Marlin and Dory bid the Tank Gang goodnight, exchanging farewell handshakes with fins.

Going back to one of their own neighborhood, the Tank Gang got themselves situated to bed. Gurgle, Bloat and Jacques were sleeping together; Gill and Peach slept soundly together with Mal in their arms; and finally, Bubbles and Deb slept soundly together, while Trixie slept peacefully in her own den.

Meanwhile, in the other neighborhood, Dory placed Andrea with Nemo and Marlin to sleep with; then, she swam to her corral and fell fast asleep. Nemo nuzzled his sister Andrea with passion as he fell right to sleep. Marlin smiled as he reassured his kids and now was asleep.

All the fish slept nice and soundly as the reef ocean view got very silent, quiet and peaceful at night.
