What if Naruto was seen as a hero like Minato wanted? What if Naruto was groomed for Hokage? What if Naruto took his ninja career seriously? What if Naruto was to become the god of shinobi? If a fight is short its because it was one sided. I know Naruto power scaling so expect good power scaling in this what if may buff a few side characters. I don't know if I wanna do NaruHina

Naruto was walking around Konoha with his jiji as people whispered about him as they passed them. \

"Is that the boy?"

"Yes, I think so. He's grown so much"

"He's quite cute, he looks alot like his mother."

"I wish I were younger. I'd stake my claim as soon as possible."

Hiruzen was grinning with a slight blush knowing Naruto would have a good picking pool when he matured from cute to handsome.

Naruto never really knew what that meant but he's been hearing it a bit more often. Hiruzen had been in quite the good mood. Knowing that Minato's hopes for Naruto were coming true. However he wondered how Naruto would take it that his parents were the 4th hokage and a woman of legendary status like Kushina coming from a founding clan of konoha. Naruto would be turning five soon and he'd have to tell him sooner rather than later.

"Naruto?"

Naruto then looked up and hiruzen in curiosity.

"Yes jiji?"

"Soon I'll tell you all about your parents but you must take caution with this information I'm going to give you."

'WOW really jij?"

Naruto is basically jumping up and down at this point. With the biggest smile any of the villagers had ever seen and could tell it was the time he would learn of his heritage.

In one of the nearby shops a certain black haired boy was shopping with his mom staring at the excited boy. His mother had noticed this.

"Sasuke do you know who that is?"

"That's Naruto right? The container of the 9 tails?"

"Yes he's the hero of konoha. But more than that he's the heir of 2 titles that will change konoha when he's told just who he is. I'm sure that time will come soon"

Sasuke looked back at the kid looking curiously.

"Really what's so special about him?"

"I'll tell you when we go back home itachi will be home early today we gotta prepare dinner."

Still looking at the boy 'will he really have that kind of an effect? Even on konoha itself?'

Mikoto was preparing to make dinner when sasuke entered the room. Looking at mikoto he asked.

"Can you tell me about that boy?"

Hearing footsteps, the curtain at the door opens and Itachi, followed by his father Fugaku, walks in. Itachi then asks.

"What boy are we talking about?"

Sasuke then runs up and hugs his brother. Mikoto then responds.

"Naruto, he's almost 5 its almost time that Lord 3rd tells the boy of his heritage and his future role in konoha."

"Yeah mom said that he's the heir of 2 titles. But I don't know what she means."

Fugaku-"Ah i see it is almost time." Then looking at Sasuke Fugaku said "That boy is more than a hero he is the son of one as well. He will grow to be strong maybe even more so than his father."His dad? Who's his dad?"

"His dad was the 4th hokage. One of the main reasons the 3rd great war had ended."

"So being the son of a kage is one of his titles? What about the other one?"

Itachi then stepped in "He is the last remaining Uzumaki. To the village's knowledge at least."

"Uzumaki? Are they a clan I haven't heard of them?"

"Yes they were a legendary clan hailed even as high as the Uchiha and Senju they even helped found konoha although they didn't live in the village."

"How come i've never heard of them?"

Fugaku then said "It's not surprising. They were wiped out in the 2nd great war."

"Then they couldn't have been that strong to have been wiped out."

Mikoto then flicked sasuke's ear who quickly grabbed it in pain. Mikoto then said "Quite the opposite actually. They were targeted above the Uchiha in the war because if the war"

Sasuke then looked at his dad for confirmation who nodded in agreement. Fugaku then said "Yes they were so feared that Iwa, Kumo and kiri had to join forces and make an army of 40,000 shinobi to combat them."

"Then they wouldn't have lasted long with an army that big against them."

Itachi then takes the story. "No actually they fought for 3 days and 3 night against the forces against them. They were known for the clan of longevity for a reason. Their bodies were strong and durable. With a vast chakra pool to complement it. To further emphasize it was very common for an uzumaki to live up to the age of 120."

"3 days and 3 nights? That's impossible. That has to be made up."

"Nope it isn't there is proof even kumo said so."

Fugaku then said "They were an amazing clan that were killed on their feet rather than beggen on their knees. But to say their chakra was strong is an understatement. When compared to the Uchiha our most exceptional clan members look like paper. Thin and soft, easily broken when compared to iron chakra of the uzumaki."

"Woah. That's incredible. So him being an uzumaki is his other title?"

Fugaku then replies "No exactly he is the clan head so when he reaches the age of 16 he will be given political power. It's a seat that has been vacant for quite some time. But the chair is still there waiting for naruto. Funny story. I've never seen Lord 3rd as furious when the civilian council tried to have it removed." Fugaku then chuckled a bit before regaining his composure.

Itachi looked at sasuke then said "Make friends with that boy he'll be in the academy with you. He'll be a great rival for you. He will push you to great heights not just as a shinobi but a person I can see now."

The hokage office around the same time

"Wait jiji are you serious? My dad was the hokage and my mom came from such a legendary clan?"Naruto then looked down at his feet and asked the aging kage"Hey jiji? Did they love me?"

"Yes, they did Naruto with all their heart. If there is one thing they loved more than konoha it would be you"

Naruto basically bouncing off the walls at this point more excited than Hiruzen had ever seen him if that were even possible.

"Naruto calm done there's more."

Looking in wonder "Wait there's more?"

"Yes Naruto now that you know there is a burden you have to deal with. Being the last uzumaki you'll have a seat on the council when you're old enough. You'll need to study and gain knowledge if you want to become better at konoha. If you desire to be hokage you must know that the village and its people come before everything, even your own well being."

"I know jiji. I'll die for the village like my father before me if it means konoha will live!"

"Then naruto I will personally train you starting tomorrow. But know you will be tested and pushed to your limits. Your body will hurt and fail you for even trying to walk. Then after that you'll train even harder till your body is starting to fall apart. You'll only stop when or if I tell you to. Is that understood?"

Naruto then knowing the honor it is to be trained by a kage let alone the god of shinobi stood then said "Yes Hiruzen-Sensei!"

The next day after Hiruzen's so called 'warm-up' naruto felt like his muscles were torn from his body and pulled out. But he stood up anyway. He couldn't disappoint those who came before him; he had to grow stronger. Unknown to naruto, some jonin were watching him to see the young man progress and how for he'll go by the time it's their job to teach him. "YOSH! Naruto-Kun is fanning his flames of youth! Soon he'll be doing 1000 pushups with only his thumb while juggling boulders with his feet! He's growing so fast!"

Kakashi then replying "Guy it's his first day take it easy on the kid"

With tears flowing out of his guy proclaimed. "I know but I see in him kakashi an immense inferno of youth brews in him. When he finds it he'll be truly YOUTHFUL!"

This would go on for a little over a year. When Naruto turned 6 Hiruzen went in depth about politics and Naruto's academics. Which Naruto was finding to be very boring. If Hiruzen had caught Naruto sleeping during Hiruzen's lessons he would have had to run 10 laps around Konoha, which happened a lot. The runs were never too quiet though a man in green spandex would usually join him and Naruto liked the company no matter how weird the man seemed to be. Other than that there would be girls who would chase him around too. Which only made him run faster to get away and to get out of the open to lose them. Which only amused Hiruzen knowing that if he were anything like Minato he would be chasing a girl rather than being chased. Not long after had come the time for Naruto to take ninjutsu and taijutsu seriously, not just theory. Hituzen had told Naruto.

"Just because your affinity is wind doesn't mean that's the only nature you have. At a basic level everyone can use every element but past the basics you can only use a few. Like me I can use all chakra natures and have mastered them. We won't know which you can use for a year or two."

During Naruto's chakra control training, at this moment, something unexpected happened. Naruto had found himself in a wet and dark sewer-like area. Naruto began to walk around exploring this maze until he walked into a massive room. On the far side of the room was a massive cage with massive rusted bars. Walking up Naruto sees massive red slitted eyes glaring at him. However, unexpected to the beast Naurots gaze doesn't waver for even a moment.

"It seems my jailer has come to see me."

"So you're the kyubi."

"So you know me, I expected you to be an idiot at first, at least I was wrong about that."

"I didn't expect you to be rude but here we are… I don't like being the jailor. I would prefer a partner but I don't get to decide that."

'This boy is nothing like my past containers, maybe he will be dif.. No impossible he won't all humans are the same he only wants power MY power'

But at that moment something unexpected happened. A blue chakra began to emanate from Naruto and a man stood next to him. The kyubi knew who this was immediately the son of the sage Ashura who looked at the beast gave a slight nod before vanishing into naruto.

"Alright brat, I'll give you a chance to prove you can be powerful without me. If the only chance of power you have is mine then you are weak. If you pass this test my power will be yours to command. There is no time limit to this test."

Coming too on the outside, Naruto had realized that only a few moments had passed. Looking at jiji who was still sitting still. Opening one eye to look at naruto hiruzen asked."What's the problem naruto I thought we got past your hyperactiveness"

"It's not that..i.. Uh met the 9 tails..."

Hiruzen then looked with a critical eye "And what did he say?"

"At first he was kinda rude but then it seemed like he saw a ghost and his whole mood changed and said he would test me."

"What's the test?"

"To prove I can become powerful without him and that if all my strength was him then I was only weak."

"And if you were to pass?"

"He said that his power would be mine to command."

"Hm I don't know if he's serious but he made a deal so at least try to win he might be serious. If he's lying you'll need to be powerful any way to combat him. Either way Naruto being strong is your only option."

"Then I'll need to be stronger than dad! Do you know how I can do more sooner?"

"I have the perfect thing for you and you can probably utilize it better than me. Now look closely."

In a poof of smoke a second hiruzen popped up.

"Oh come on, you know I can't do the clone jutsu!"

"No Naruto, this is the Shadow Clone and the Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu to make more than one. It takes a lot more chakra to make which you have plenty of. The main difference is that these clones are physical rather than an illusion. To do this jutsu put your hands like this then focus all your chakra in your stomach and then push it out all at once."

Naruto does this and a vast smoke covers the training ground and 1000 naruto's cover the field where grass once was. As hiruzen grinned at this he could only think of how much of a handful he's gonna have.

"As i thought naruto this jutsu would suit you best."

"Woah there's so many of me. This is awesome. My taijutsu can improve so far with this!"

"Not just that but knowledge. With these clones your knowledge can as well you see these clones when dispelled give their new memories to the original."

"Hey does that mean if a clone learns a jutsu when dispelled i will learn it too?"

"Yes it does but these clones have a heavy price. They take up a lot of chakra and only survive one or two hits before dispelling. This jutsu was made by the 2nd hokage and was mainly used for intel gathering"

"I see why to gain intel without risking a life, only chakra is quite the advantage. Hey jiji why don't you use these to do the paperwork you always complain about?"

At that moment Hiruzen's last 40 years as hokage had been even more painful despite being the god of shinobi he had never thought about making a clone do it. Hiruzen then gave Naruto the tightest most joyful hug ever.

"Naruto...you are a true genius amongst geniuses."

Hiruzen let go of his hug and then began to bark commands at his clone then looking back at naruto. Naruto immediately realized that hiruzen was standing straighter. Looking younger with a natural smile and noticeably less wrinkles.

"Okay... but now I gotta learn every jutsu I can get my hands on."

"No Naruto, you must wait till you're older. You must work on your foundation, your taijutsu and academics. I'll still teach you a few jutsu but you'll need to learn more with your jounin sensei when you've fully figured out what kind of ninja you wanna be. Actually, if you like, I can teach you some fuinjutsu. I'm by no means a master but I have plenty of books from when Jiriya learned. It'd be good to learn what the uzumaki were feared for. I ask that you atleast look into it."

"Really jiji can you? That'd be awesome!"

Naruto and Hiruzen had been making progress in their taijutsu but Naruto felt weird about whatever Hiruzen tried to teach him saying it didn't feel right. After days of studying different forms of martial arts. Naruto found one that caught his attention; it was a taijutsu that focused on counter attacking and using the weight of one's opponent against them.

"What did you want to learn?"

"Well I was thinking if the Hyuga have the best defense and Uchiha have the best offense then I will be the best counter attack. I will use my enemy's strength against themselves."

"I see if that's the case you'll need speed for this style. I have two methods of helping you with this and that's training and a jutsu called the body flicker. We'll each make a clone, they'll do the jutsu portion and then we will go get some training weights for you." Hiruzen and Naruto then left and went to buy training weights. As they entered the shop they saw a man in green spandex buying weights. Naruto recognizes him as Might Guy running up to him and asking.

"Hey Guy, how Heavy are your weights? They look huge!"

"Oh hey naruto, I just came here to get a heavier set. These ones are 20,450 pounds." Giving Naruto a wide grin that shined like the sun. "Why are you here naruto? Trying to increase your youthful training? You're a true inspiration. Naruto For this display of youth I'll run 1000 laps around Konoha only using my thumbs with boulders on my feet and my arms tied behind my back! My YOUTH will burn bright!"

Then with a green flash Guy was gone and naruto just said "I didn't even respond to him."

"You're not gonna question how his task is even possible?"

"Nah guy can do that no problem."

'It seems the boy is making progress. Now how did Ashura show himself to me? Could this boy be his reincarnation? There are too many questions. For now I'll wait and see.'

TIME SKIP TO THE FIRST DAY OF THE ACADEMY

At this point Naruto has new clothes. I always liked the outfit in Naruto the last. So Naruto will be wearing that just without the armband because he isnt teacher and that's a teacher symbol. This outfit will have a uzumaki symbol on the back. Naruto doesn't know 10000 jutsu, he knows a few of all chakra types. The reason is Hiruzen wanted to see if Naruto can really use all 5 chakra changes in nature and told him to wait till he graduates to focus on quantity when he has his jounin sensei and to master nature change. Taijutsu and his academics/Fuinjutsu was his Hiruzens Priority.

Naruto hadn't really been paying attention during the ceremony so he didn't get a good look at his classmates opting to read a book of Fuinjutsu. However there was one man who caught Naruto's eye, a tall dark haired man who seemed to have bags under his eyes. He immediately recognized the man as Itachi Uchiha, knowing him to be a genius among geniuses. Maybe being second only to Kakashi Hatake at least in Naruto's eyes because Kakashi created two of his own jutsu while not even being a jounin yet. (Chidori, Raikiri) Noticing that Itachi was there meant that he was there to see family off and Naruto looked around and saw a similar looking boy. He noted to himself that if itachi was there he probably supported and believed in sasuke meaning naruto would need to keep an eye out sasuke might prove to be beneficial to his growth. Noticing this look on naruto itachi smirked knowing that their rivalry was almost cemented and if it were to come sasuke would have someone to push him further than any other motivation. The first day of Naruto's new life as an academy student. When naruto was walking to the academy adults were looking and staring. Naruto never minded that it had been happening for a while now but this time it felt different. Almost as if they knew that this was the start of the new era of shinobi. As he walked up to the front gate he could see that a lot of the clan head's most notable were the Ino-Shika-Cho formation. Also within Naruot's gaze was Hiashi Hyuga who looked as stoic as ever. Followed by a shy girl who kept looking at the ground he recognized her as he had stopped some bullies from getting to her not too long ago. The Hyuga head had personally thanked Naruto who had thought it was the coolest thing ever. As Naruto kept walking he saw Sasuke eyeing him. Naruto returned the look then grinded at the boy. Itachi then looking at Sasuke gives a nudge to his brother to follow him which Sasuke does. As they walked side by side many of the teachers were looking at them and studying them. The clan heads had done the same, wondering if the boy's would be rivals. Ino-Shika-Cho was just wondering who would win their bet on who the winner of the first Taijutsu spar would be. As the students walked in class naruto and sasuke had situated themselves in the back of the class by the window. Much to Shikamaru's displeasure wanting to sleep or cloud gaze during class he had heard from his dad that it was the best spot to do so. However seeing the two so close made the two factions of the Naruto fan club and Sasuke fan club even riled up. Sasukes being led by Sakura Haruno and Naruto's by Ino Yamanaka the two had been rivals for quite a while and this had only been fuel to the blaze.

"Class...class…CLASS!" yelled Iruka. Who then waited for the class to be quiet down before beginning.

"Alright… we're going to have 2 test today. One is written to see where you are academically and one in Taijutsu to see where your technique and physical ability is at."

Naruto being the less shy and more extraverted of the two looks at Sasuke and then says "We'll fight first. I want to see what the legendary Uchiha can do."

"And I the same for the fabled Uzumaki. Don't be disappointed if you were trained by the hokage. Losing after such training would be a bad look for him."

After the test was done which naruto and sasuke found a bit too easy. It was time for the hyped up event. Like before Jounin were gathered in the forest to see the outcome they wouldn't have to wait very long as the boy's had agreed to volunteer first.

"Alright class, who would like to go first?" Naruto and Sasukes hands shot up like rockets to iruka's question.

"Alright Naruto and Sasuke get to be our openers." After a quick minute of cheers and boos the class came silent and naruto made the unison sign before being told to. Seeing this, iruka said, ``Begin!"

Sasuke shot off like a rocket being more aggressive with his strikes. Not to Naruto's surprise though he knew this would happen. Much to Sasuke's frustration he could land a hit he was either dodged or deflected with seamless effort. When naruto saw sasuke wind up a heavy right he knew it was time. He let the punch flow over his right shoulder then grabbing sasuke's right and elbow turning his feet and hips looking away from sasuke flipping the raven haired kid over his shoulder and with a loud thud and a gasping audience the fight was over and naruto declared the winner. Much to Inoichi and Chozas disappointment. Shikaku just held his hand out which was then filled with money.

"You did pretty good for not knowing my fighting style."

"What do you mean? You completely outclassed me. It was a one sided battle the whole time."

"Yeah but I know all about the Uchiha taijutsu style. It only makes sense I would know how to counter it."

"Whatever, I'll just train harder and kick your ass next time."

"Good luck with that." Sasuke's only response was to get even more angry at the whiskered blonde.

After school.

Seeing sasuke walk in the front door Fugaku asked his youngest son "How did your tests go?". Seeing the curiosity in his father that sasuke never got before only made him ashamed that we couldn't say he won. "Well the written test I aced. But in Taijutsu I lost to Naruto but he beat everyone else but I beat Kiba Inuzuka who's the only other good fighter... Sorry."

"Don't be ashamed you lost to the hokage's student but next time push him to try harder but you must train even harder. You can't keep up with him, you have to surpass his ability."

"I will… I promise." Fugaku then let a small smile come to him and left. Sasuke had barely seen the gesture of pride but felt good about it. After that he knew he had to try harder to not disappoint his family. However unknown to sasuke he would get the chance to make his dad proud again.

A week had gone by and there were lectures about shinobi history and basic studies like math. Except one day Sasuke had stayed late with Naruto to practice shuriken training. Running back home sasuke saw what would change him forever.

(The Uchiha massacre happens just like in cannon. Except i'm not kishimoto so sasuke will know how to at least activate and use the basic abilities of his sharingan after awakening it.)

Convenient for sasuke the hokage had an apartment available for sasuke to stay at. A week had passed and Sasuke had not said a word to naruto. He knew what happened to the Uchiha clan but didn't know what to say. Naruto was clanless too but that happened before his time but Sasuke had known those people his whole life. Such loss really hurt. But at the start of the new week and another taijutsu assessment naruto and sasuke walked up in their usual routine. This time though there was a chill in the air and naruto looked at sasuke. Who seemed to be livid like he had to prove something that he was good enough that he had power. However yet again sasuke lost panting and on his stomach. Sasuke got on all fours and punched the ground. Naruto stopped and looked at his friend. Knowing that if he didnt say something now he may lose him forever, Naruto gathers his courage and asks Sasuke for people to hear but not really caring.

"Is it power you seek to get rid of your nightmare's? To get rid of Itachi?"

Looking over his shoulder still on the ground, Sasuke says "What do you care?" A growl almost coming out.

"I care more than you think."

"He didn't do anything to you. So stop feeling pity for me."

"He may not have hurt me but he hurt Konoha."

"No, he killed the Uchiha, not KONOHA!"

"The Uchiha lived in Konoha so they are my people." Sasuke is now quite contemplating the words. Naruto then continued.

"I may not have been able to do it then but I will in the future… I will protect our village… i will not forgive anyone who threatens the village be they a friend… sibling… or even my own child… I will strike them down where they stand." Sasuke stood up and stared at Naruto who met his gaze.

"And what could I gain from you?"

"If It's power you want, it's something I can give."

"How so? How can you make me stronger?"

"You're standing aren't you? You aren't wheezing in pain on the floor or in the hospital clinging to life. My wrist and ankle weight are still on aren't they?"

Sasuke had then realized that in their fights Naruto had never really tried. He had maybe never actually even thought about trying. With a nod sasuke agreed to the training.

"But know you will be tested and pushed to your limits. Your body will hurt and fail you for even trying to walk. Then after that you'll train even harder till your body is starting to fall apart. You'll only stop when or if I tell you to. If I say run around konoha you don't ask 'how many times' you'll ask 'how fast'. Is that understood?"

Knowing Naruto was serious Sasuke nodded again.

"Good torturing you will be fun… I mean training. HAHAHAHA!" Sasuke had never looked more shocked then at that moment. After class was over Sasuke caught up with Naruto. Staying silent until Naruto asked. "Don't want to enjoy freedom for another day?"

"I need power now. I need to be stronger."

"You need to drop that attitude." Sasuke looking at naruto in distaste now. "If you keep it you'll only be easier for other people to manipulate at the promise of power just for you to be used and thrown at whenever they need you gone."

"Then what do I do to stay weak?" Sasuke now seems more angry.

"No… stop thinking of the Uchiha. You need to think of the village. I'll help you kill itachi but he shouldn't be your focus, your focus should be to prevent anyone else from going through that. For example, would you want your child to feel the pain you do?"

"No of course not." Sasuke at this moment felt embers beginning to emit heat in his heart wondering what it was. Unknown to Sasuke, Naruto had sparked Sasuke's Will of Fire.

"Are you serious about killing your own child if it meant konoha wouldn't be in harm's way?"

Without hesitation Naruto said. "Yes and I'll set an example of him for others to see that my conviction and my Will of Fire burns crimson red!"

If Sasuke had to define his training with Naruto he'd probably say hell or something worse than that. On his first day sasuke was sure he had torn every muscle in his leg's. When he got up after their workout he felt like he needed to go to the hospital only to hear the most frightening words of his life. "Seems our warm-up is done. Time to get serious now." At that moment Sasuke felt like he should run away. Anything would be better than this torture. Much to Naruto's comfort Sasuke had started to call his blonde friend a sadist. Mainly because Naruto only seemed to smile weider at Sasuke's pain. Sasuke couldn't argue with the results though so he stuck with it and sometimes he would meet the hokage. Who would check to see if sasuke was still alive and well. Hiruzen was pleased to see that Naruto never giving Sasuke a chance to copy any of his jutsu and minimal chance at copying Taijutsu. Sometimes Sasuke and Naruto would go train with Might Guy and who they thought was his son Rock Lee. Both always seem to wear the unique green spandex workout clothes much to their eye's displeasure. The first time Sasuke sparred with Rock Lee only realized how much room he had yet to Grow. Guy's training was like level 5 hell and Sasuke wanted nothing to do with it.

The training would go on for quite a while days turned to weeks then to months soon into years. Until it was time for the graduation exam. Of course naruto and sasuke passed with flying colors. Naruto still came out on top and got Genin of the year. Much to sasukes displeasure.

"Class...class… CLASS!" Iruka shouted. As he waited for the student to get quiet and settle into their seats. "Alright class i'm going to announce the teams so pay attention."

Sasuke didn't really pay attention until he heard his name.

"Team 7 will be Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto and Sasuke giving a slight grin and then giving each other a fist bump. But when they heard the name of their 3rd team member it gave a mix of reactions. "And… Sakura Haruno." A loud squeal from Sakura, a cringing Sasuke and Naruto on the floor grabbing his stomach trying to breathe as he laughed to his heart's content. The other students grabbed their ears in pain. Ino just sat as sadness hit her but at least she would be teamed with two of her friends.

"Your jounin sensei will be Kakashi Hatake."

At the mention of the name Naruto stopped laughing and just looked up at his teacher. Sasuke noticed this question. "Do you know him?"

"Well of him… do you not?"

"No, I don't know who this kakashi guy is."

"You gotta be joking right?"

"No, I'm not Idiot just tell me who he is."

"He's a legendary Shinobi. He has many nicknames. He'd be the perfect teacher for you. Wanting power and he can teach you how to use the sharingan..."

"How can he teach me to use it?"

"Hold up im getting there his nicknames include Kakashi the copy ninja, kakashi the ninja that knows 1000 jutsu and kakashi of the sharingan. He's one of the reasons the 3rd ninja war came to a close. He was also taught by the 4th hokage."

"How does he have the sharingan?" sasuke now looking a bit furious.

"Most of the story is classified but what isn't says something about his friend Obito Uchiha dying after trying to save their third teammate rin. Kakashi had lost an eye and obito had told Kakashi to take it and so rin being a medic i planted it in kakashi but the specific details are kept out."

Sasuke looked a bit more calm.

"Is he really so powerful to be a reason the 3rd war came to a close?"

"I mean he has the sharingan and knows a 1000 jutsu. As Well as being one of the best geniuses in Konoha."

Naruto could then feel the presence of sakura staring at them looking for a chance to come into the conversation. Most of the girls did but this time it felt even more desperate. All Naruto and Sasuke could do was shiver. 3 hours had passed and they were still waiting for their new sensei. All Naruto and Sasuke could do was play rock, paper, scissors. After about 30 minutes they stopped to sleep but Sakura's squealing when getting closer to Sasuke kept them awake and on their toes. In order to keep awake, Naruto and Sasuke had a push-up contest. They reached 900 and sasuke's arms began to shake and he started to slow down until he gave out giving naruto the win who jumped up in victory. A few minutes later Kakashi walked in and studied his new students, one of which was blushing brightly and the other 2 were punching each other in the stomach to see who would give up first.

"My first impression of you all… is that you're all weird."

All the students just deadpanned at their extremely late sensei. Sakura started off with a yell.

"You're late!"

"I couldn't help it. There was an old lady who needed help. But she turned out to be an assassin. I almost lost my life in an extreme battle. Surprised you didn't hear it."

Everyone looked at kakashi like he just said the dumbest thing ever.

"Well it doesn't matter now we'll meet on the roof and get started."

With a shunshin, Kakashi was gone. Only leaving a few leaves to fall to the ground.

"Well last one there is an idiot." and naruto was gone in the manner. Sasuke looked on in frustration and Naruto refused to teach the shunshin to sasuke. Kakashi was pleased that Naruto arrived in such fashion.

"So is it true you really have a sharingan?" Naruto asked as if it held to weight.

"Yes I do. I'm surprised you know of me."

"What!? You're a legend, your one if not the most powerful ninja in the village other than our hokage."

"Well i don't know about that. Since you know the shunshin, how far are you in ninjutsu?"

"Not very, I can use all 5 elements but at an intermediate level. I was told to wait for my jounin sensei to master an element. I just focused on taijutsu and my academics. It was the most boring thing ever staying in those clases some days I just left a shadow clone in school who just slept through the day."

Kakashi is now having a hard time holding in a laugh. Until sasuke came up and said.

"Sometimes I would dispel his clone so he would get a lecture sometimes immediately after coming back. Iruka doesn't like to wait on his lectures. This one time naruto actually had another shadow clone come in his place which only made Iruka even more furious when i said it was another shadow clone."

"How can you tell it's a shadow clone, not even the byakugan can tell a shadow clone and the real person?"

"Well naruto has an immense chakra pool that a clone can't have and secondly because Naruto holds a tailed beast he has a lot stored in his stomach that swirls in a clone it's a bit less noticeable." Then all three genin sat down in front of their sensei.

Kakashi then started "Alright let's get started why dont yall introduce yourselves."

Noone said a thing for a minute. "Alright guys i know were eager but no need to rush."

Which Naruto gave a chuckle at Kakashi's joke much to Cyclops' pleasure.

Sakura then said "Well why don't you go first? We've been in class for years but you're a new person."

"Well I'm Kakashi Hatake . I like and hate things so I don't really feel like telling you that. My dreams for the future?... never really thought about it. As for my hobbies, I have lots of hobbies. Now you go… pikie."

"The name is Sakura Haruno. I like or the person I like is *Squeals intensify*… I dislike perverts! And my dream is... *Squel*"

"Alright you next Blueberry." A noticeable tick mark was on Sasuke's forehead.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha and I like training, and punching Naruto."

Naruto then retorted "You only like it so much because it rarely happens." Kakashi let out a small chuckle

"I dislike Guy's training. It's like hell grew limb and decided it wanted you dead. My dream really isn't a dream because i'll make it a reality… I'll restore my clan and bring Itachi to justice."

"Alright blonde your next."

"The name is Naruto Uzumaki. I like ramen and training. I dislike hitting sasuke, it happens too often to be a reward." Naruto started to laugh and Sasuke just got angrier. "My dream is to restore my clan and take the hat from jiji and protect konoha to my dying breath."

Kakashi then said "Alright tomorrow we will have a test to see if you really are genuine material. Now shut it, I don't wanna hear you fail you'll be sent back to the academy. We'll meet tomorrow at 8:00 A.M. in training ground 7. I recommend not eating breakfast. I don't want the training ground smelling like barf." With that kakashi was off in a poof of smoke. At this sign to make sasuke mad Naruto stood up and then said "Welp see you non body flicker losers tomorrow." In a swirl of leaves Naruto was gone and leaving Sasuke with a furious face.

"Hey sasuke you wanna… go… on a date… with me?"

"Tch as if I'd waste my time with that. Why not train? You could certainly use some training."

After that sakura felt a pain in her heart she never really thought about doing anything else but what was required from the academy. She never really trained, she never really needed to. She was always mediocre at everything and that seemed fine. Then she realized if she wants Sasuke's attention she needs to be a konichi of the same status as Sasuke. She didn't want to look manly in any way but she did want to be strong but she had no idea where to start.

Sasuke and Sakura had been waiting for an hour for their sensei. Then they saw as naruto walked up to them.

"You're late !" sakura yelled at naruto

"No, I'm not. Sensei's not here so he has no room to complain."

"I suppose you're right. What are the box's for?"

"Oh yeah these are your breakfast. I assumed y'all would actually listen so i made yall food don't expect it to be super good i'm self taught."

"Were not supposed to eat, remember."

"He's already an hour late it'll be 2 more until he gets here it'll be fine."\

"I suppose you're right."

As Sakura opened the box a nice steam came out. As she got a good portion of the food her face gave a shocked expression.

Naruto then said "Is it really that bad?"

"No, it's actually really good. Did you really cook this? It's better than my mom's cooking."

"Oh sakura you're such a flatter." Sakura deadpanned at Naruto's response. Wiping his mouth, Sasuke finished the food.

"Naruto were gonna warm up. I feel like kakashi's gonna make us fight him in some sort of way."

"Yeah he most likely will. Warming up would be good then we can come up with a plan but it's gonna need all of us if we wanna even have a slither of a chance to touch him. That includes your sakura. I don't know how you warm up but I'm gonna beat Sasuke till he can't walk."

Sakura not believing her ears "I don't think you really can."

Sasuke seeing the trouble he's in, "Sakura stops... I don't want it to be harder than it has to be. He'll just take it as you doubting him and then he'll wont let me fall down until I'm begging him to stop."

Sakura couldn't believe her ears.

'Is Sasuke losing that bad even possible? If sasuke said it must be true.'

After 30 minutes of naruto's warm-up and sakura arguing whether that was a warm-up or a full workout. Sakura stared at the 2 boys as they walked up to each other. Then they stood back to back running 15 steps at the same pace then turning around while taking off at each other but Naruto met Sasuke 6 steps closer to what Sasuke said. Showing naruto's superior speed. Sakura stared in awe. She had never seen people move so fast she didn't know it was possible that Sasuke could be punched so much in such little time. An hour passed of Sasuke being beaten. He was reaching for his ankle weights until the kakashi body flickered in between the 2.

Kakashi then started off "Now naruto i don't know who told you bullying was okay but we're gonna need to talk after what you did" That made sasuke grow a bigger tick mark and naruto to laugh. Sakura walked up and yelled "You're late again!"

"Sorry on my way here. I saw a black cat that almost crossed me so to make sure I wouldn't get bad luck I went the long way around konoha."

This didn't seem to please Sakura as she only got angrier.

"Alright we'll begin the test, let's get it over with you have until sundown to take these bells from me. If you can't take them you'll means being sent back to the academy. Whoever does pass gets to be one of my sweet little genin." This got a reaction out of sakura but not the 2 boys. Sakura was shocked but was cut off by Naruto and Sasuke dashing into the woods which Sakura followed.

'Good no questions i'm starting to like them' kakashi thought to himself

In the woods Naruto and Sasuke were looking for Sakura to try and formulate a plan. It took quite some time for a bit of shadow clones to keep Kakashi at bay. When they saw Sakura they landed on the branch she was on. This frightened her that she hadn't even noticed or heard them at all.

Naruto started "Hey sakura we got a plan. So basically this test is bullshit. You saw that there were only 2 bells right?"

"Yeah i was gonna say something but yall took off too fast."

Naruto responded "Well the bells dont really matter in this test were not meant to take them. There are no teams that only have 2 or 1 genin. Either it's a teamwork test or a test of how to overcome a foe that we could only beat in our dreams. Either way teamwork is our only option."

"Okay what do i do?"

"Me and Sasuke are gonna pressure him hard we're gonna make it obvious WE intend to take them but when you get an opening take the chance to take them or cut them off."

"Can y'all really distract him?"

Sasuke jumping in now "Hell no he probably knows we're here talking right now. Probably would have killed us already if we were in battle."

Naruto and Sasuke then walked out of the forest towards kakashi. Who just kept reading his book. If you looked good enough you could see he was studying them intently. After a few moments Naruto stood side by side staring at kakashi. Naruto and Sasuke then took off throwing punches and kicks at a kakashi who just dodged them and blocked them while reading his book. Sasuke was getting mad at being taken so lightly. Naruto wasn't as mad but he wasn't enjoying being taken lightly. He jumped back and Sasuke followed closely.

"Alright sasuke no more games. I'm taking them off."

"It's about time. This is dragging on too long."

Then naruto and sasuke let their wrist weights slip off and then uncooked their ankle weights off. Dropping them and creating a small creator when they fell.

Kakashi then commented "Seems y'all spend a bit too much time with Guy."

Naruto then retorted "I think it's a good amount… Leaf Hurricane."

Which kakashi dodged easily but still shocked that a newly minted genin would move so fast. Before he could finish the thought sasuke came running up. Trying to punch kakashi with his guard down. Which was easily dodged. Sasuke had his wrist caught then thrown 20 feet back. Then Naruto came flying at him. Naruto got his bearings and caught himself. They took off again kicking at kakashi who used naruto's body to cover his hand seals from sasuke's sharingan and made a mud wall to seperate the 2. Then after a slight taijutsu exchange naruto was kicked through the mud wall. Feeling great pain in his they felt that taijutsu was going nowhere they jumped back both going through hand seals.

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough"

"Fire Style: Great Fireball"

The fireball begame to form as it grew larger extremely fast into it and it turned into a massive wall of fire that pushed toward kakashi. When he began to think of a counter he forgot about the girl on their team but then it was too late a kunai flew through the air and cut the shrink the bells were on which soon started to fall. Noticing sakura running forward he began to think faster. She trusts her sensei to have a jutsu to counter the massive wall of fire but he's fast enough to dodge, save them both and keep the bells. Then he thought 'might as well see how this plays out'. He flew through hand seals and created a water wall in front of him. Letting Sakura take the bells when she ran back to Sasuke and Naruto, she gave them the bells. 'If neither of them can really fight him I stand no chance. Might as well give it to them because they can run faster and can defend each other's weak points. Even if only 2 can pass they deserve it more than me'. Then they saw an empty scorch of land in front of them. In a swirl kakashi was standing behind them.

"You… pass."

"Yes!" all the new official genin jumped in joy. "Report here tomorrow for training then maybe we'll take our first mission."

Sasuke smirked, Naruto smiled brightly and Sakura was relieved she wouldn't have to go back to the academy. She gets to spend some more time with Sasuke and become a stronger kunoichi. The next morning came fast and sasuke along with sakura were tired of waiting. They hadn't done much other than Sasuke ignoring Sakura's advances and laying under a tree for shade. About 2 hours of waiting passed and they had yet to even see another person then their blonde friend walked up.

"Oh y'all are already here? How long have y'all been waiting?"

Sasuke then responded "We were here on time."

"Why would you be? You know he's gonna be late so why bother?"

"Because he's supposed to be here on time if not early."

"He would be but he always seems to have misfortune on his way here. He'll turn up eventually."

"You don't really believe his crap do you?"

"Sasuke, are you saying his beloved sensei would lie to his cute genin? I'm hurt for him."

Then in a swirl kakashi appeared. "Yeah sasuke i'm very hurt by your comments."

"And what's your excuse this time?" sasuke getting a bit annoyed

"If you really want to know… I was attacked by a werewolf that was 30 feet tall and I had to battle it to the death. But i killed it in the end and now I'm here."

Naruto then seeing his chance to annoy sasuke adds on "Woah sensei that's so cool. Wish i could've been there to see a battle like that."

"Maybe next time. We could even fight it together if you want." added kakashi. Much to Sasuke's displeasure.

"Lets just get on with the training already." Sasuke added with his arms crossed and a tick mark on his forehead.

"What are we going to train today? Chakra control? Ninjutsu? Maybe taijutsu?" sasuke asked

"Hmmmm maybe next time? But for now we'll train… teamwork." kakashi responded

Sasuke and Sakura were disappointed and Sasuke was a bit more angry. Naruto hadn't expected much training but he didn't wanna do this.

"But sensei we already showed we can work in a team. Why do we gotta do teamwork exercises?" asked sakura

"Well because I said so." responded kakashi "Well start with a basic exercise. Guide a blind folded teammate through the woods without them tripping, or hitting something."

Wanting to get the training over with, they didn't bother to prank each other. They did this for 3 hours until kakashi decided they should go get a mission.

"What are these chores we're doing! We're ninja's!" Naruto and Sasuke complained in unison. Sakura was just pleased to get easy missions; she was still trying to physically condition herself. Kakashi was internally laughing maniacally at the cat scratching the young blonde's face. Who tried to kill the cat a few times. Sasuke just grew annoyed at the cat's constant hissing. Returning the cat to the daimyos wife was a treat because they could finally rid themselves of the demon cat. Kakashi wanted to take another mission so they were given the chore of painting a fence. After that horrible mission they all went their separate ways to go home and sleep. This continued with very few variations in missions. Sometimes they were pulling weeds, painting a fence or wall to chasing a demon through the village. Until one day naruto and sasuke put their feet down and demanded a C rank mission. After 5 minutes of arguing, Hiruzen realized Naruto wasn't going to back down he gave in.

"Bring the client in!"

Then a tall dark skinned man walked in. "I'm Tazuna the legendary bridge builder… I thought I paid for ninjas, not little kids. Come on their just kids. Pinkie looks like she can barely do a push-up."

"Hey you old drunk stop complaining. You only need protection from bandits right? Then we'll protect you just fine. Teme here can breathe fire and has magic eyes. I'm a one man army. So shut it." Naruto retorted. Sakura then realized that she had nothing special in her arsenal. Kakashi noticed and noted it to store it for later. After meeting up the next morning Tazuna seemed sober enough for the journey. Agreeing in a formation of kakashi in the front naruto and sasuke to the left and right of tazuna and then sakura in the back. As they walked past a puddle Naruto realized what was going on but Sasuke being on the other side wouldn't be able to. Sasuke would be left to react rather than prepare. Then the puddle erupted and 2 people came out raping a spiked chain around kakashi and ripped him to shreds.

"One down... 3 to go!" one of the brothers said

As the 2 guys ran at sasuke, naruto threw a shuriken that forced the connected ninja to fly off course then in a blink of an eye the 2 kiri ninja were knocked out cold. As the kiri ninja woke up, Kakashi confronted them and asked.

"What are you 2 after and who hired you to do it?" Knowing who Kakashi was, the demon brothers didn't want to die just for an old man.

"We're after the bridge builder. We were hired by gato."

"Alright then thanks for that." as kakashi hit them hard and knocked them out cold making sure it'll last for a while.

"Alright this is no longer a C rank mission this has turned into a B-rank mission and gato will most likely hire a better ninja the rank may go up.. My genin isn't trained enough for this. We're going to turn back and have a talk with the Hokage."

"Please I can't afford a higher rank mission. I've given everything I have. Gato is draining our country of everything we have. This bridge is the only thing that'll stop him. It'll crumble the monopoly he has over our exports and imports. I beg you to help me."

"I'm sorry kakashi- sensei i want to help him. We may not be trained up but we're no pushovers. We defend ourselves just fine from the demon brothers." Naruto explained

"I have to second that. Kakashi backing away from our first C-rank will make your sweet genin look bad. And that's not acceptable." Sasuke explained

"Alright alright well see the mission through. Quit your yapping." you're lucky my students want to help. If this were just me, we'd be in Konoha by now. Most of the trip would be smooth sailing literally for some of it. Most.

As the team was about to dock on the shore team 7 had complimented the man's bridge and it's sheer size. After docking team 7 took the same positions and started to walk toward the land of waves. On the way there Naruto could feel something like he's never felt before. It was malice and hatred they wanted to kill. Naruto had never felt able to do this before. Then naruto threw a kunai at a nearby bush and after a few seconds a white bunny hopped out. Sakura then said "You almost did the poor thing, what were you thinking?" But sasuke saw naruto's hand shake and sweat forming then out of nowhere naruto yelled "Hit the dirt!" as he rushed and tackled tazuna to the ground as a massive blade swung over head. Chopping and sticking into the side of a tree then a man stood on the hilt with a sideways kiri forehead protector on with bandages covering his neck and mouth. He was shirtless for some reason with cow patterned arm warm ups with thick grey pants. Looking over his shoulder "How'd ya know kid?"

"All that malice was pouring out of you it was obvious you outta keep in check."

"So you're a pretty good sensor, surprising for a kid so young." kakashi taking note of the boy having sensory abilities storing it for later conversation.

"That's such praise coming from Zabuza Momochi that the demon of the blood mist." Kakashi satated trying to divert his opponent's attention to himself. Zabuza looked over at the cyclops.

"Ah kakashi Hatake, quite the honor of meeting you."

Kakashi then reached for his forehead protector, moving it away from his eye revealing his sharingan. "Ah the famed sharingan. I never thought I would see it so soon. It doesn't matter you'll die none the less"

As zabuza grabbed the handle releasing his sword from the tree then and then a thick fog covered the land.

"What is this?" sakura asked

"It's Zabuza's jutsu, the 'the silent killing technique' he can kill opponents in an instant. You won't even realize you've been killed. Don't worry the worst that'll happen is we die."

"Eight points larynx, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian artery, kidneys, heart… now which will be my attack point?"

Almost as if sensing their fear kakashi began to speak

"Calm down, I'll protect you with my life, all of you… I won't allow a comrade to die… trust me."

As Kakashi looked back, giving an eye smile.

"I wouldn't be so sure" as zabuza appeared in the middle of the genin protecting the bridge builder.

"It's over" then in an instant kakashi next to zabuza stabbing him in the stomach. Then water started to spill from Zabuza's stomach. Then dispelling revealing itself to be a water clone. Then another zabuza appeared behind kakashi swinging his sword cutting kakashi in half but too bad zabuza had been tricked the same way. The kakashi dispelled in a puddle of water. Appearing behind zabuza holding a knife to his neck. "Don't move it over." but again another zabuza appeared, the one being held at kunai point dispelled. Zabuza went for another strike at Kakashi but missed this time. Then kicking kakashi into the nearby river running over. Going through hand seals in a flash zabuza then cast his jutsu

"Water prison jutsu..." then looking at the genin zabuza puts a half ram seal and another water clone appears.

"Alright sakura, watch the client. Me and sasuke will fight zabuza."

Zabuza hearing this started to laugh loudly.

"Multi shadow clone jutsu" 25 naruto's appeared and then launched themselves at the water clone being dispelled faster than naruto would like to admit.

"Sasuke we're gonna need a big fireball to move the real Zabuza, he needs to stay connected to the ball of water to keep it up."

"Okay let's do it. It's gonna need to be bigger than last time though." sasuke added

"I know but I got that covered." and a second naruto appeared on the other side of sasuke.

"Ready sasuke? Give it all you got."

All kids flowing through hand seals

The uchiha then said "Fire Style: Great Fireball"

Naruto and his clone then closely after "Wind Style: Great Breakthrough"

The fireball grew massive as the mist begane to clear around dispelling the zabuza clone. Noticing the inferno wall, Zabuza made a choice to dispel the water prison and dodge the massive inferno roaring at him.

As a tired and almost sickly looking kakashi stood there watching his student eye now covered.

"Alright sasuke you've used the least chakra you're on carry duty."

"Wait carrying what?" Then kakashi began to fall as sasuke and naruto caught him before he could hit the ground.

"Kakashi-Sensei!" sakura yelled

Naruto then responded "Don't worry it's only chakra exhaustion he'll wake up in a few hours. Hell be in pain but alive. Hey old man take us to your house we need to bandage him."

"Right, follow me, it's not too far from here, maybe a mile."

Sasuke then picked up kakashi putting him on his back letting his feet drag on the floor.

Tazuna then opened his front door "Please come in, make yourselves at home."

"Yeah that sounds like a plan. Us leaving to get a hotel room may only put you in danger." naruto added

As the genin walked in the house they realized that it was very minimalist and only had what it needed to be comfortable and not much extra. They went to the living room and next to it was the kitchen we're a woman was cooking.

"Ahh this is Tsunami my daughter… sorry but you're gonna have to cook more food." Tazuna said

"These are the ninja? They look too young."

"I assure you they're quite capable." the genin just smirked except for sakura who just looked disappointed mainly in herself.

"Umm does he need a doctor?" Tsunami now pointing at Kakashi

Naruto looking back at Kakashi "Nah he'll be fine. He's just sleeping."

"Oh okay well follow me we have an extra room he can stay in." The genin then followed the woman to the room. They then set the unconscious cyclops on a mat and let him sleep. Sakura stayed with him to bandage his wounds. She said she had been studying medicine recently. She didn't tell her teammates but she personally wanted to ask Kakashi a question or two. Kakashi would wake up later that night. As he was gathering his bearings he saw Sakura walk in with hot water and a few towels.

"Ah thanks Sakura for looking after me. Did the others help or just leave it to you?" Kakashi then saw Sakura put her head down.

"No, I told them I could do it alone so they could train. I didn't want to get in their way."

"You have to train too. You're a part of the team you shouldn't be left behind."

"I know why I wanted to be here, so when you wake up I can ask what I need to do."

"And what do you want to know?"

"Well i was told because how small my chakra reserves were i had great control over it with great control. Good chakra control is the basis for medics and genjutsu. I was wondering if you could train me in either?" Sakura said a bit teary eyed.

"I can train you in basic genjutsu. It's not exactly my forte and the ones that are good I use with sharingan. Which you don't have. I know the basics of medical jutsu but only enough for light wounds and to stop bleeding. It's a good start. Maybe later you can train with Kurenai. She's really good at genjutsu."

"Thank you kakashi sensei." Sakura said as she began to tear up but she held the tears in knowing she had to be stronger. Kakashi then rested till sunrise only a few hours later. He heard commotion downstairs and took it as his que to go. Seeing Naruto stuff his face full of rice and fish. Sasuke was eating at a normal pace and just finished washing up.

"Oh hey kakashi you're finally up." Naruto said in wonder

"Seems so. We're going to have to kick start your training… zabuza's still alive and we need to prepare for it."

"Damn it naruto was right!" sasuke exclaimed

"So I take it yall know senbon are very unlikely to kill someone? Especially in the neck like that."

Naruto and Sasuke just nodded.

"Alright we're going to do chakra control exercises. We'll start with..."

"Why do yall even try you're just going to die!" A boy protested.

"What makes you so sure kid?" Naruto asked

"No ones been able to beat gato. You'll only die. You're not heros only dead men walking." Inari answered

"Just because you can't fight doesn't mean we don't know how to." Naruto retorted

"It doesn't matter how strong you are, you'll only die."

"I don't know about that. My sensei is the god of shinobi. Only the strongest of the strong get that title kid. Don't lump me in with the weaklings you associate with."

"How dare you my dad wasn't weak."

"But he died right? So he obviously wasn't."

"Naruto stop!" Sakura yelled

"No he needs to hear this." looking back at the shaking enari. An aura wrapped around Naruto. It wasn't physical but it felt real to Inari. He began to shake and sweat at the intense feeling.

"Look at you quaking in fear. Do you know what this is? Its bloodlust kid, you can only do this when you have killed. It grows more and more powerful the more and more you do it."

Inari begane to walk back as Naruto walked forward. Then Inari tripped and fell back as he began to cry and Naruto walked closer.

"If there are no heroes then who do you want to save you? Don't preach what you don't pray. I was told about you but your grandpa was wrong, all you are is a coward. Make all the excuses you want your old man will only be disappointed in your weak back." Then Naruto looked back at kakashi.

"Me and Sasuke can already tree and water walk. Jiji taught us." with that over Inari was crying and felt his chest cave in as if an elephant had sat on him. Naruto walked back to his chair and started eating again. Sasuke then whispered "You didn't need to be so rough."

Kakashi then said "He needed to. Being nice failed. He's still like this after talking with his family so someone being mean might bring him out."

"I can have a clone teach sakura tree walking and then maybe the basis for genjutsu. Her chakra control is good, it might be best for her progress." Sakura then realizing that Naruto actually wanted her to progress made her feel good as she gave a small smile.

"I can't only give you and sasuke attention, it wouldn't be fair." kakashi said in response

"No it'll be fine it's what i wanted to practice anyway so it'll be fine. I don't wanna hold them back." Sakura said in response

"Can you really do genjutsu?" asked kakashi

"Well no, i always have trouble with the image but i can make my chakra effect sasuke's. It'll be up to you to teach her a genjutsu but i can get her some of the way there."

"Alright if she's fine with it, tomorrow should be able to make clones then yall can get individual training."

After breakfast Naruto made a clone that went off with Sakura and taught her to walk on trees.

"Hey naruto… did you really get taught by lord 3rd?"

"Yeah jiji taught me alot about being a ninja and helped me develop my chakra. The problem I have is the complete opposite of yours."

"Really how so?"

"Well you have very little chakra making it easier to control but I have way too much and it would be almost impossible for me to learn how to use it without him. I got pretty lucky."

"Really how much do you have?"

"Well all jiji ever told me was that i have more than anyone he's ever met including the 1st, 2nd and 4th hokage so i guess a lot."

"You really have more chakra than them? That's crazy!"

"Not really, they still have a lot and better techniques than me. The first had wood style and the 2nd and 4th have the flying thunder god"

"Well yeah you're a kid. You'll find something cool that'll fit you, I'm sure of it."

"Wow sakura you're quite the flirt. I wonder what brought this change."

Sakura then realizing what she said couldn't but blush in embarrassment.

"Shut up we never talk about this! You hear me!?"

"Yeah yeah let's continue your training… ummm… thanks Sakura. It means alot to hear that." Naruto said sheepishly with an arm scratching the back of his head.

In another part of the forest. "Well i wanted to teach you both signature jutsu like the chidori for sasuke and rasengan for naruto but we don't have time to teach you the rasengan."

"But you'll have enough time to teach me the chidori?"

"Wait you know my dad's jutsu? Thats crazy."

"Well of course he was my sensei after all. But I won't be able to teach it to you. We lack time and material to do it, maybe another time."

Kakashi then began to tap his chin thinking of what to teach Naruto.

"Alright I got it, I'm going to teach you some very effective jutsu. Both offensive and defensive jutsu. But there is something I gotta ask: how did you sense zabuza and learn to manipulate killing intent? I've never taught you how to use killing intent as a weapon."

"Well I don't know how I sensed him but I learned how to use killing intent from him. I kinda felt the emotion he used and felt how he manipulated his chakra and kinda came easy."

"The sensory ability is mine. I let you use it. Think of it as a gift for becoming a ninja. Don't let it get to your head kid."

"Well the kyuubi said it was his ability and he's letting me use it as a gift for becoming a ninja. So that explains that."

'So he's slowly getting the kyuubi's respect? Good progress is being made.'

"Well i guess that's fine. Sorry there's not much I can teach you in a week. Just try to master these jutsu and when we get back in konoha I'll try to teach you something cool."

"Oh that's fine sensei. We'll have a lot of time after this so prepare to teach me every jutsu you know."

"Oh dear, I'm gonna have a handful with these kids." Kakashi face palmed

Six days had passed and Tazuna was making great progress in the bridge even after all the workers left. Mostly because of Naruto and the shadow clones he could make. Naruto found it to be good for physical conditioning so he tried to do as much as he could to get a workout in as some of his clone's tried to even use some of the jutsu. Some time during the week Sasuke and Naruto fell asleep in the woods after a long hard fought battle. They had woken up to a very pretty girl in a pink kimono. Naruto had called her an angel when he opened his eyes. The girl now known as Haku had asked some questions.

"Are yall ninja?"

The duo then answered "Yes."

"Are y'all friends or rivals."

Weirdly sasuke was the first to answer "Both really."

"Well do you have someone precious to protect?"

The duo looked at eachother then shrugged. Naruto went first.

"The thing I call precious isn't a person but people. It's my village, it's my dream to be Hokage, the strongest person in our village and his main job is to protect it till his dying breath and I will do the same that involves teme here."

"And what about you?" Haku now looking at sasuke

"I don't really have someone precious. I don't have family or anything. Dobe here can protect himself."

"Well I hope you find something soon then."

"Why is that?" Sasuke asked

"Because I believe when someone becomes truly strong it's to protect someone precious to them."

Sasuke just stared into the forest wondering if he could find something precious to him. If there was even something to find. Then Haku stood up "I'm sorry I must be going, I hope to see you again." Haku then started to walk away but then looked back and said

"Oh by the way I'm a guy."

Naruto and Sasuke just started gasping at what they just heard. Then sasuke started to laugh

"Hahahah you called him an angel." Rolling on the grounds struggling for air.

"Don't even teme i fell asleep after you and i heard you say 'Sakura-chan' so don't even with me."

"Alright dobe we never mention what happened here today. Deal?"

"Deal." Sasuke then wondered if he'd actually said something like that. Was he really feeling like that toward a fan girl? He doubted he liked her but he wondered if this meant there was something special for him. He would have to wait to confront these feelings, he had a fight coming up ahead and he needed to be ready. It was the 7th day they were expecting zabuza.

(everything happens like in canon naruto over sleeps saves inari and head to the bridge)

Naruto arrives at the bridge seeing kakashi fighting zabuza and sasuke caught in a dome of ice mirrors. Knowing kakashi can handle himself, naruto took off heading toward sasuke. Naruto was building up speed. He was at full speed because he and sasuke took them off expecting a battle. Smashing one of the mirrors Naruto fell into the dome.

"It's about time you showed up. I'm getting my ass kicked here."

"Oh when aren't you."

Then in a flash the kiri hunter nin was zooming between the mirrors launching senbon at the boys. Naruto had the speed to dodge and sasuke had the sharingan to help him. The genin tried to break the mirrors to no avail and plenty of frustration. They weren't getting anywhere and they would eventually bleed out or get too tired to move. Sasuke was already feeling winded and was slowing down. The missing nin seeing this took the time to focus the tired boy. Throwing a vast amount of senbon at sasuke. Sasuke had closed his eyes waiting for the pain but it never came when he opened his eyes he saw naruto in front of him. Senbon littered his body then Naruto started to fall back. Sasuke caught him and asked

"Why?!"

"Because you didn't dodge."

"No, why did you do it?"

"Because you're a citizen of Konoha, it's my job to protect you."

Then hearing those words and feeling emotion he'd only felt when losing his family his second tomoe formed. He let Naruto down and flowed through hand seals. 'Please work now's the time to work' then sasuke's hands were engulfed in lightning. "Chidori!" Kakashi hearing the sound of a thousand birds he smirked knowing his student finally used the 'chidori'. Sasuke flew forward and destroyed the mirror only to have more senbon thrown at him for him to speed past them. But sasuke still wasn't fast enough to catch the hunter nin. Soon he found himself wobbling and feeling oozie it was chakra exhaustion. Naruto found himself in a very familiar sewer system looking around he found the cage.

"I suppose I'm dying?"

"Yes you are but you dying means i die too so i'll give you some of my power just enough for you to recover and win this battle but nothing more brat now scram"

Naruto felt a surge of power hit him, his eyes turned red and his whiskers became more feral. He stood up and the senbon begane to get pushed out of him. Sasuke had heard the sound of senbon falling and looked back at naruto who had a red chakra swerling around him. In a flash the mirrors were shattered and Naruto had punched the nin in the face destroying his mask. Sasuke could barely see it with his sharingan. The mask crumbed off revealing it to be Haku. Both the boys then asked "Why?"

"Because my and zabuza are precious to me."

"Your village? Zabuza?"

"Yes, zabuza saved me when I was being hunted by the mizukage for my kekkei genkai. We allied ourselves with the rebels in hopes to bring the mizukage to justice. We do these missions for gato to fund the rebels."

"Damn you should have said something to us, the hokage is allied with Mei Terumi."

Then in the background the familiar sound of the chidori rang through the bridge. Naruto heard this and immediately bolted over naruto knowing he couldn't touch the lightning engulfed hand pushed kakashi's arm away to miss zabuza. Then naruto yelled over the chidori.

"They're allied with the kiri rebels!" Zabuza looked stunned he hadn't seen or sensed the boy. Kakashi deactivated his chidori.

"Why didn't yall say so were allies with them. I almost killed you, that wouldn't have gone well with the hokage. He might have actually killed me for that."

"We'll it's been a while since we've been back in kiri we didn't know that konoha was supporting the rebels."

"I knew y'all were good for nothing. Thankfully it's time to cut a few loose ends. You'll have no hole in my pocket, you're not even worth the pay." a very short man said as he walked on the bridge with a group of thugs and thieves behind him.

"You...you weren't going to pay us were you. The whole time you were just gonna get rid of us?" Zabuza asked

"I was just waiting for you ninja to tire each other out and then I'd strike." gato said in response

"Then it seems we are no longer enemies." Zabuza now looking at Kakashi

"It seems so… i'm drained and we still need to deal with Gato's thugs..." kakashi responded

"That'll be easy." Naruto then walked past the 2 jounin and an auro emanated from naruto red chakra spewing from him. As he walked past zabuza he had a shiver come down his spine. A trail of red chakra followed naruto and then a fierce Blood lust emanated from naruto. Everyone around the chakra behind Naruto started to swell and morph. Then seemingly out of nowhere the head of a demon started to form. It roared and even more bloodlust was realised. To the thugs that hadn't already shit themselves already just did.

"Hey what are y'all doing!? Kill them!" Gato demanded

"Hell no you're crazy. I'm not getting anywhere near that kid. You can keep your money." one of the thugs said

Then the thugs begane to run. On their way to leave the thugs saw a group of villager's headed towards them. Now the only escape was to jump off the side which the thugs happily did. Except Gato who just stood on the bridge glaring at Naruto.

"What's wrong shorty? Too scared to move?" Naruto said in more of a statement than a question.

"As if! How much do you want, kid? Join me and I'll make you rich." Gato responding to the question

"How much? The price I'd say is… Your life." gato now looked on in horror trying to make a run for the side of the bridge but naruto cut him off. Grabbing the small man by his collar, Naruto tossed him to the villager mob. "Do with him as you please."

"Scaring those idiots was fun. HAHAHAHA. You're pretty good kid." The kyuubi said in naruto's consciousness. Naruto then walked over to Sasuke who just laid on the ground staring at Naruto.

"You good teme?"

"Just shut up. I'm just tired. When I'm back on my feet I'm going to kick your ass doofus. How dare be holding back against me."

Everyone on the bridge just sweat dropped at Sasuke's declaration.

"You're a good kid. Your sensei almost killed me. It would've been a lot of political trouble for your hokage If I had been killed like that." Zabuza said

"Yeah once Haku said yall were allied with the rebels I knew we'd have a huge problem. The old man already does so much paperwork this would've just given him a heart attack. " Naruto explained

"Well, let's go back to the bridge builder's house. I need a nap." Zabuza said as if he hadn't just tried to kill the man. He was also blatantly bleeding out from multiple area's in his arms. Naruto just picked up Sasuke much to his displeasure who just complained the entire time demanding to be put down. When they got back kakashi and zabuza just talked and talked as if they were childhood friends. This was pretty weird to the genin Kakashi had almost killed Zabuza an hour ago and they were all buddy buddy now. Haku surprisingly made a good conversationalist. Tazuna and his family were a bit on edge but soon warmed up to the kiri nin.

"Hey kid no need to have a talk so don't leave the house. I just wanted to say you've got some of my respect today. I'll allow you to use some of my power. It'll still be less than one tail but it'll be plenty for now."

'Wow! Thanks kyuubi, that means a lot.'

"Don't sweat it kid. Now leave, I'm tired and I wanna sleep."

'All you do is sleep.' Naruto pouted

A few days had passed and everyone recovered from their injuries and exhaustion. They had become good friends, especially Haku and the genin trio. The two group's said their goodbyes wishing each other a safe journey home. Zabuza had decided it's be best to go back to the kiri rebel's base after stealing everything from Gato's manor. The konoha ninja had completed their mission. Tazuna finished the bridge and was safe. Now all they had to do was go back to Konoha and report to the hokage. Kakashi knew he was in a world of pain for allowing not just naruto but konoha jinchuriki and the last Uchiha into a dangerous mission that could have been avoided. Kakashi wanted to take the trip back home slowly but Sasuke and Naruto were persistent in wanting to train as soon as possible.

"Kakashi you did what?!" hiruzen asked in an annoyed manner. Naruto and Sasuke felt kinda bad for putting their sensei in a bad situation. Then again kakashi could have just knocked them out and taken them back if the kids got too annoying.

"I had decided to continue on the mission. I believed they were ready for a B-rank mission but it turned out to be an S-Rank mission..."

"How so?" a now annoyed hiruzen hunched over trying to conceal his anger.

"Once we entered the land of waves we were attacked by an A- Rank missing nin… Zabuza Momochi."

"But he's allied with the kiri rebels. Why would he attack yall?"

"He didn't know that konoha was supporting the kiri rebels. He hadn't been back to kiri in a year."

"I'm assuming you didn't kill him, that's too much paperwork to handle."

"No i didn't kill him i almost did. But Naruto stopped me after finding out they were allied with the rebels."

"Even if you saved a political nightmare. You're still on my bad side for risking our jinchuriki in something so avoidable. Thankfully I've kept naruto up to date on the politics of the kiri civil war or I'd have an ear full from Mei."

Sakura then questioned "Our jinchuriki?"

"Yeah when a demon is sealed in a person they're called a jinchuriki." Naruto responded

"Oh okay I've just never heard that term. But lord third, shouldn't you be more worried about Naruto himself, not the Jinchuriki?"

"I do worry for Naruto but the village is above everyone. Without the jinchuriki other villages may want to attack us and start a new war."

"Hiruzen i wouldn't allow naruto to die, he's my sensei's legacy he must live on." Kakashi leaves out that Naruto almost died against Haku.

"NO!" This sudden outburst from the aged hokage startled everyone in the room.

Hiruzen then continued "The jinchuriki of the 9-tails in minato's legacy but Naruto Uzumaki is mine."

"What do you mean by that?" Naruto and Kakashi asked

Then on que Tsunade opened the door and walked into the hokage office as a few guards struggled to stop her then jiraiya came flying in through the window. Hiruzen took the que to straighten his back up a bit.

"Exactly as he says gaki." the legendary toad sage answered

"Yeah kid it should be pretty obvious what he wants from you." the slug princess continued

"Don't tell me." kakashi muttered

"Yes i've picked my successor." hiruzen said

Kakashi was shocked. Sasuke was a bit curious who he picked between the 3 legendary shinobi currently in the room. Sakura was pumped that a woman like tsunade was going to be hokage.

Naruto then looked at the toad sage knowing he trained the 4th hokage thinking it has to be him.

"Well it seems you recognize jiraiya." Hiruzen said

"And you tsunade." Hiruzen is now looking at Sakura.

"Well who's going to take your hat jiji?" Naruto asked with a bright smile wanting to know this very moment.

"Before that i have something else to announce. These shinobi in this room are going to be your masters. I'm sure yall can assume who your sensei's are gonna be."

"Jiraiya" Naruto said

"Tsunade" Sakura said

"Kakashi" Sasuke following suit

"Yes and among these shinobi i have made a choice of who will 'take my hat' as Naruto said"

Hiruzen then looked at Jiraiya who nodded his head. Then looking back at the genin.

"The 5th hokage will be… Naruto Uzumaki."

Naruto then fainted but before he hit the ground Naruto's emotion came out waking himself up.

"Wait seriously? Im hokage?"

"Of course not yet but it will be you. You still need to train and grow. You must first earn my title."

"Wait if you've already said I'll be hokage then why do i need to earn it?"

"No gaki, not the title as hokage." Jiraiya stepping in

"Oh then you mean i have to be the god of shinobi?"

"Yes if you can earn this title then I'll give you the hat."

"But earning that title is almost impossible!" naruto complained

"So is hokage. Don't let this go to your head. You still have to be worthy of hokage. I'm just telling you because I see the potential in you… that being said, I want you three to participate in the upcoming chunin exams. Think of it as your debut. I mean this for all three of you. It is you who take the spot of the three sannin." Hiruzen retorted

"Why are this year's chunin exams still only fresh genin?" asked sasuke

"Because every kage will be there, obviously excluding the mizukage." responded Hiruzen

"So it'll be an opportunity to show off to the other villages. 'The future of Konoha is bright'. Am i right?" Asked Naruto

"Precisely… I'd also like you to attend meetings and visits from political heads to civilian village meetings." Hiruzen answered

"Aw man, I'm gonna be stuck in an office forever aren't I?" complained Naruto

Hiruzen chuckled "What did you expect?... The chunin exams are in one take this time to prepare, train and learn as much as possible. I almost forgot to say 2 jinchuriki will be in the village, one from suna and one from kiri. They have great control over their tailed beast. We must show that our's isn't slacking off either. Jiraiya has the key to the seal he wont release it completely but will release it to an extent deemed safe. Now go with your sensei's and prepare." hiruzen now dismissing the genin

On Naruto's way out all sasuke could do was stare at Naruto questioning if Naruto even needed a rival. He was in a league of his own and was soon to be hokage. Sasuke didn't want hokage but he at least wants to be mentioned at that level. He was going to train as much as possible and match Naruto in every way possible. Sasuke then steeled his resolve looking at kakashi.

"I need more kakashi. So break me if you must but I won't let Naruto pass me up like he has now."

"What exactly do you want from this?" kakashi asked

"If i'm your apprentice then i must carry on in your name… teach me a thousand jutsu."

"We'll see how many you can get down." kakashi responded

Naruto and Jiraiya left through the window to Hiruzen's right side. That window was always kept open for his student to jump in; it became tradition. Naruto then smirks at Sasuke's declaration knowing he'll have a hell of a fight next time. Sasuke and Kakashi would then go and train Sasuke using his Sharingan to copy as many jutsu as Kakashi can fire off.

(that's all they really do that isn't a surprise for later.)

With naruto who just signed the toad summoning contract

"To do this jutsu you have to force as much chakra out of your palm as fast as you can. Give it a shot." Jiraiya instructed

"Well what should i expect to happen? What's the first attempted summon like?" naruto asked

"Well don't expect much, it takes a lot of chakra and control of it to summon something bigger and/or stronger."

"Alright let's give it a try" Naruto then bit his thumb making it bleed and slammed his hand into the ground as a sealing array spread then in a poof of smoke a small orange toad appeared wearing a blue coat.

"Oh hey there Jiraiya, what do you need me for?" the toad asked

"Hey! I'm the one who summoned you. Don't just dismiss me." naruto complained

"Oh you did? I wasn't aware we had a new summoner. Well nice to meet ya. My name's Gamakichi ."

"Yeah im training the gaki so he might summon you a few times. He summoned you on his first try so it might not take too long."

"Alright i'll make sure ma and pa know you selected another summoner." In a poof of smoke the toad disappeared

"I thought you said not to expect much? I got a whole toad." naruto questioned

"Well to be honest I expected to use the whole month for you to summon the boss toad. You have enough chakra to summon him, the seal just gets in the way of your control making it harder to summon." jiraiya added

'Hey brat i'll let you use my chakra for summons but when you see that damn boss toad tell him if i ever see him in person i'll kill him.' the nine tails spoke up

"The fox said I can use his chakra for summons." Naruto said now looking at Jiraiya

'Is the 9 tails really going to help out like that? Maybe loosening the seal a bit will be okay. I should see how much he can do with this much with the seal's tight grip.'

"Alright let's see how much the fabled 9 tails can muster" Jiraiya said with a smirk

"Alright let's see just what i can summon" naruto said as he bit his thumb again and slammed it to the ground. "Summoning jutsu!" Then a massive poof took over the forest and a naruto now stood atop a giant red and brown toad with a pipe and a katana. He also had the same style of coat as Gamakichi.

"Hey! Jiraiya where are you?! Why did you summon me here?" the giant toad asked

"Hey, I'm the one who summoned you!" Naruto yelled as he jumped to gamabuntas nose to be seen by the massive toad. The toad just stared at the boy questioning if he was serious.

"I doubt that kid. Tell me where Jiraiya is." the toad demanded

"If he isn't here then i'm the only one who can summon you." naruto stated

"It's true gamabunta, the boy did summon you." Said Jiraiya said as he landed next to naruto

"So you've taken another student? I hope this one does well." Gamabunta then looked over at Naruto "If im to accept you as a summoner you'll have to pass my test."

"Bring it, I'll pass it and you'll accept me! Believe it!"

"Alright kid, summon me in 5 minutes, i'll prepare the 'Stuff'" in a puff of smoke Naruto and Jiraiya were back on the ground.

"So what's the test?" Naruto asked

"You'll probably have to share a drink with him. Mt. Myoboku Fire sake is legendary and poisonous to most people but to those who yield a good amount of chakra can live through it… sometimes." Jiraiya responded

Naruto golped that statement and questioned if it was really okay to try it. 5 minutes had passed and Naruto then summoned Gamabunta again. This time the toad came with a giant barrel half the size of himself and a smaller one on his head next to naruto about as tall as naruto and 3 times the gerth. Naruto golped and that implies that he'd have to drink it but it meant being a toad summoner he'd do it.

"Alright kid you gotta brink all that sake. If you fail you'll never be able to summon me until you can drink it."

"Alright gamabunta let's get started i can't wait!" Naruto responded

"Just take your time Naruto don't try to do too much, it might actually put you in a coma." Jiraiya warned

"I'll be fine Jiraiya-Sensei. The kyubi healing works with alcohol too so the effects will be lessened to some extent."

Then all of sudden gamabunta started to chug away. Then Naruto followed suit and got about half way when he realized that his throat felt on fire. It tasted good but it was still the strongest sake to exist for a reason. About a minute later and naruto was done with the sake, the barrel now empty started to roll over off the side of gamabunta. Naruto then sat down on the toad's nose and started to feel the world turn and flip. Naruto felt like he had to pee and he was scared he'd never be able to stop.

"Alright kid i'll accept you as my summoner that doesn't make you my master and i dont over use my summon or i'll cut you off. For smaller fights summon some of the other toads to fight with you. Try to summon some other toads. Jiraiya will teach you how and the different types of toads. If you ever plan to learn Senjutsu just summon a messenger toad and have them call ma or pa they'll summon you to train. Im telling you cuz otherwise Jiraiya never will. He may call himself a sage but he's just just a kid barely even knows how to utilize it at a basic level."

In a puff of smoke and the toad was gone immediately Naruto ran to a bush and relieved himself which only made Jiraiya laugh.

"To be honest gaki i didn't expect you to get the summoning jutsu down in a few hours. I got a few summonings that may help you and they're not huge, so close combat can be easier." said Jiraiya trying to be heard over the constant stream.

"That sounds good but what's this Senjutsu stuff bunta was talking about?" Asked Naruto

"Oh it's the sage title I have. It's one who can use natural energy and enter sage mode. Your dad mastered it before i could but then again i never took too much time to master it. I probably should learn it tho it's very useful. More about that when you train in it. For now I have a jutsu for you. It was created by your dad."

"Are you gonna teach me his rasengan?!" asked naruto who was basically jumping up and down in excitement

"Yes I will. But I warn you it might take a while. It took me 3 months to learn. Then again your dad was never good at instructions. I got it down to 3 basic steps unlike the original 129 minato told me about. The trick is rotation then power then containment."

'That's what I do for a tailed beast bomb. I'll save it for later.'

Naruto took 3 weeks to learn the rasengan and took time getting used to using the Kyuubi's chakra and even got to 3 tails.

Naruto was walking down the street when he noticed a small square rock following him. He peeked back but then disappeared from view.

"Ah man where'd he go? How could I lose him so easily?" then as the boy tried to stand up from the box he smacked his head and yelped in pain. "OWWWWWWW!" Then Naruto started to howl in a laugh. Naruto then stepped off the box and the boy stood up and then 3 kids stood up and revealed themselves to be Konohamaru, Udon and Moegi.

"Naruto nii-san lets play ninja! I've been practicing lately. I'll for sure beat you this time!"

Then Moegi added "There's no way you're gonna beat him, he's a ninja and a student of Jiraiya-Sama there's no way you can beat him." Konohamaru then Pouted to Moegi's comments

"Awww a ninja playing a game of ninja, how cute." a new voice said as naruto and the kids looked around they saw Sakura walking toward them.

"Hey boss, is she your..." then Konohamaru wiggled his finger trying to give a code.

"What!? No she's with Sasuke teme, his standards aren't that high really." naruto shrugged

Sakura then blushed in embarrassment and anger

"Oh okay good because she's completely flat, I knew you could do better." Konohamaru added

"Hey konohamaru how fast can you run?" naruto asked

"Pretty fast I'm the fastest in class. Why?" Konohamaru answered

"Because she's probably gonna kill you shoulda just said she stinks or something." Naruto added

"NARUTOOOOO!" Sakura yelled and started to chase the boys. Moegi then smirked at the beating they'll get. As the race continued Naruto felt a weird presence and then he heard a thud. Konohamaru then said "Sorry sir, I wasn't paying attention. I hope I didn't hurt you."

"Alright Brat, I'm gonna have to teach you a lesson." Then the kid wearing a catsuit picked Konohamaru up by the collar. "Hey let me down!" Konohamaru exclaimed

"And who's gonna make me?" the cat man asked

"I wouldn't hurt the kid." Then Naruto showed himself as he walked forward with a bored look.

"And who's gonna stop me?"

Konohamaru then smirked "Even if I weren't the Hokage's grandson Naruto is here. Now you're a dead man walking."

The now scared suna shinobi looked back at naruto but didn't spot him. The face painted boy then had a shocked expression as Naruto appeared behind him.

"He's right." The suna nin then in a moment's notice dropped konohamaru, turned around to face Naruto and jumped back only to be pushed by an unknown force back toward the blonde.

"Hey dobe you need to stop flirting with the taken ones i know you like them a bit older but it's getting you in trouble." The blonde woman standing next to the cat man until a moment ago started to blush a bit.

"He's not my date only my dumb brother. My name's Teamri. His name is Kankaro." the now identified Temari said

"Then the redhead is Gaara?" Asked naruto

"Kankaro stop embarrassing us." Gaara said appearing in a whirl of sand

"Gaara they started it i swear!" Kankaro pleaded

"Shut up, you were going to hurt that kid, it'd be bad for Suna." Gaara responded to this Kankaro stopped talking

"So the one tails has shown itself. And the 2 tails is a stalker." The elder sand siblingings gawked at this and sasuke was a bit surprised. At the same moment a figure walked out of the alley next to them.

"So you could sense me. How did you do it?" The 2 tails jinchuriki asked

"Ah so i was right you are Yugito of Kumo. I wonder how I did it, quite the question really."

"Are you one of us? How many tails do you have?" Yugito asked as a smirk came to her face

"I'm the Jinchuriki of the 9 tails." Naruto answered

"Oh so Matatabi wasn't lying, it really is you. I'm guessing you're not a perfect jinchuuriki if you have the grumpy fox in you." Yugito stated more than asked

"I guess you'll have to see." Naruto then smirked. Yugito was shocked but didn't show it at the implication of being a partner of the 9 tails.

"Gaara, Temari, Kankaro you're supposed to represent Suna, stop acting like brats." Then a man walked up to them. Naruto hadn't even caught a whiff of his man.

'I guess that's what it means to be a Kage.'

"Ah Kazekage-Dono sorry for being so rude to your children..." Naruto responded in a light bow before being cut off

"It's alright you were only protecting the Hokage's grandson… your Naruto right?" Rasa asked

"Yes I am. Why does the Kazekage know me by name?" Naruto asked

Rasa, knowing the kumo nin already left, continued "Your Hokage isn't the only one wanting to show the power of our future. We are in an alliance after all. The Hokage chose you and the Uchiha. I picked Gaara. He put a lot of faith in you two don't disappoint us." Then in a whirl of gold the Suna nin were gone. Naruto then looked back at Sasuke who was smirking.

"Seems you've gotten pretty fast. Let's go turn in the forms and rest for tonight. We're gonna need to be at our best for the exams." Stated naruto

"Yeah I agree but it might be smart to make a plan for team vs team combat. Maybe focusing on our strengths to help each other." Naruto and Sasuke just stared at sakura.

"What bad idea?" Sakura asked

"No, it's good but I didn't think you'd want to take the time to join us." naruto added

"So y'all were going to come up with a plan without me?" Sakura asked a bit upset

"Well yeah you'd only complain if we talked about it in front of you." Sasuke added

"Well if you really wanna join let's go to training ground 7." Naruto then shunshin away. Sasuke then muttered to himself "Why won't anyone teach me that damn jutsu."

Then Sasuke and Sakura took off to the meeting spot. Once there they saw a laying bored Naruto.

"Man, that took forever. I was gonna go take a nap."

Sasuke and sakura then stared at Naruto. Both dashing at him but naruto was ready flipping back and made 4 shadow clones that took after sakura. Sakura, seeing the clones taking after her, jumped back and slammed a fist into the ground, shaking the ground then making it erupt. The clones were dispelled and Naruto was shocked to see sakura's physical strength. Then making more clone's and sending them off. The clones, making sure not to group, began to exchange taijutsu. Sasuke flung through hand seals and Naruto followed suit

"Fire Style: Great Fireball"

The massive fireball's collided and flared higher and brighter. Releasing the jutsu Sasuke pushed forward past the fire throwing a heavy punch that Naruto caught in his palm. Then swinging around his right leg aiming for sasuke's head who just ducked relwasing his hand from Naruto's grasp flowing through the hand seal then slamming his palms into the ground.

"Earth style: Mud wall"

Locking Naruto into a corner, Sasuke began to exchange punches with Naruto. With fast jabs and hard hooks the 2 were getting tired and in Sasuke's stutter Naruto jumped over the wall. Sasuke then followed and the 2 stopped staring at each other. Sasuke slowly went through hand seals and in a loud chirping sound Sasuke's chidori hand was engulfed in lightning. "Chidori!"

Sakura stopped fighting the clones and looked at the boy's fighting. In a flash Naruto had a blue sphere in his hand.

"Seems you weren't slacking off during your training." Stated Sasuke with a smirk

"Oh this isn't even the start." Said Naruto with a cheeky grin

The 2 boys dashed forward and in a blur the boys were sent flying.

Sasuke found his hand buried into a tree that then fell. He smirked looking at Naruto and his smirk faded into a gasp. Naruto found himself in a crater as deep as he was tall and 3 times wider.

"I was wondering who was gonna teach it to him. I was kinda hoping to." Said kakashi with a shrug

"Can't believe he already mastered it. It took me 3 months to learn it." Kakashi added again

"Well, I didn't want you to teach him all the cool stuff had to get something in." Said Jiraiya

"The mastered that took you 3 months in only 1?" Sasuke questioned

"Well actually 3 weeks had to teach him how to use the summoning jutsu but that took a few hours. As well as how to use the Kyuubi's Chakra better." Jiraiya stated

"Summoning Jutsu? Already?" Asked Kakashi

"Yup summoned a whole toad on his first try then Bunta on his second." Flexed Jiraiya

"The boss toad really? It's only natural that that son of one of the brightest's genesis in all of konoha to be able to match him and do even better." Said Kakashi

Sasuke looked back at Naruto asking himself 'I really stand no chance against him, I need more power and fast.' Then sasuke remembered what Haku had told him. To become strong he needed something dear to him then he assured himself when he found it he'll pass Naruto and change their roles. Sasuke reached a hand out and helped Naruto onto his feet and smiled at the blonde. "Nice to know you're slacking off but I promise I'll kick your ass next time."

Kakashi had smirked at the boys knowing they had grown a bond. Sakura then walked up to Kakashi and Jiraiya.

"What the hell did Lord 3rd feed him?" asked Sakura

"Probably a few ass whoopings a day. That's how he taught me and Naruto learns the same way as me." Shrugged Jiraiya

Sakura looked back at her teammates "Is he really that much stronger than us? Can I ever hope to catch up?"

Jiraiya then cut in "If you follow tsunade exactly as she did her training no." sakura looked at the tall man in disappointment.

"But if you follow a different path you can be a great fighter but as a medic it shouldn't be your priority. For example if Tsunade and I were in a death match she'd stand no chance against me but if we were leaders of 2 different villages she'd be just as big a threat as me. I may be an army on my own but she can keep an army alive so they can live to fight and see their kids another day. Power like that is undeniable." Sakura then had a strengthened resolve once that she may not be as combat oriented fighter didn't bother her she just didn't want to be seen as weak by Sasuke and Naruto anymore.

"All I was able to do was fight a few shadow clones but last month I would've lost to just one." said sakura

"Yeah you've way more than i expected in just one month. You did good and by the end of the exams well make chunin and go even farther in our career's." said Naruto

"At Least you're able to hold your own now. Maybe next time you'll be able to hit the real one." Sasuke complimented in his own weird way

"Alright kiddos go home, sleep and prepare yourselves for tomorrow." commanded Jiraiya

The kids followed suit and went to their homes after their goodbye's and prepared for the chunin exams to come.
