Imagine if you will, you're exploring an abandoned house just on the outskirts of Driftveil City. Despite the house being empty you hear footsteps and scratching that are not explainable. As you continue to explore you hear slight crackling and squeaks that are always close by but you can never find the source no matter how hard you look. Your flashlight begins to flicker and eventually goes out but you notice the house isn't completely dark. The room has a faint glow but the manor has no power, each area has cobwebs strung about. And as you explore deeper you go to grab the handle to the door to the next room when.

"SPLAT"

A spray of liquid can be heard hitting the other side of the door. While you quiver in fear you slowly open the door, only to find a mass of webs emitting a soft blue glow and seeing what's perched upon it you scream. Standing before you on its throne is a large Galvantula eating a small Emolga, throat ripped and still twitching. As you scream it looks up at you from it's meal, hungry for more. As you run away it lunges from its nest and slams into the wall opposite the open door. You can hear its screeching getting ever closer as you fly down the stairs. And as you run towards the exit you hear more and more scurrying all around you.

Once you see the door you trip over something and in the faint glow you look on in horror as you see an ownerless shoe next to a cocoon that has a hand and forearm sticking out from it. Attempting to get up you feel a series of small pinches and jolts of electricity. Looking down at your legs you see little sparks with each pinch illuminating as it occurs. In the light produced by this you see tens of Joltik swarm over you and as you want to get up you can't due to paralysis.

You look on, unable to even scream, you see along the ceiling the giant Galvantula crawling slowly towards you. As the Pokémon descends upon you, the Joltik make way for their leader. Once the Galvantula is on you it touches your face with its feelers and with a final scream, that cracked like thunder, it bites you and as its paralyzing venom pours into you, you begin to lose all feeling and as you feel your heart stop, the last image your brain registers is a blue web covering your face.
