Welcome everybody to my shitpost of a Fan-fiction.
If you're new to my stories (Which you probably are) don't expect frequent uploads, for regularity is my Kryptonite.
I am going to kind of base the 'Gamer System' in this story from the works of 'The Dark Wolf Shiro'. If you haven't heard of him, his gamer stories are some of the best I've read, and if you prefer darker, adult themed power fantasies, he's your man.
As you would expect from someone like me, this is going to be my first time writing something like a gamer fic. Because of this, don't expect an actual good story. Expect a power fantasy, harem story, which there are no lack of.
I don't have any particular reasons for choosing 'Isekai Nonbiri', other than there are literally no Fanfiction of the thing around the internet. At least, ones that I could find.
Anyways, other than the main world, some other things from other anime or stuff may appear as part of the Gamer System. If you want to offer some gadget or power from another piece of fiction, as long as it in not TOO busted, feel free to leave your ideas.
Other than the disclaimer below, the story is beginning.
I do not own 'Isekai Nonbiri Nouka' and it belongs to its respective owner, as does any other work depicted in this piece of work.
I never really had any beliefs of life after death in my whole life. If you look at it from a scientific standpoint, your memories are nothing else than very specific sequences of electricity that run trough your brain. Your emotions are just a mix of chemicals which make the brain feel a certain way.
When my time finally came tough, I was scared. Who wouldn't? Some say the greatest terror is the unknown, and what is more mysterious than death itself?
Getting back on point, I died.
It was bound to happen, really. Every human must face it at some point in time it was confusing how I was accepting it so easily. I can remember not two seconds ago, I was scared out of my mind.
Congratulations! You are dead, and have been chosen to reincarnate with the powers of the Gamer!
The blue screen that popped in front of my face said something which didn't make a lot of sense tough. Of course, I was familiar with the scenario, still didn't make sense as to why it would pick me million others.
You were chosen completely at random, so don't you worry your pretty little head over it.
Well, that was reassuring.
You are the first ever, in fact. I will not go into detail about my existence, but you are extremely lucky. Not only did you have to compete over this chance with your own species, but other species as well!
It is ironic that I only ever would get lucky in the moment of my death. I never really won games of chance. Be it in the genetic lottery, or in a school rally.
... Did I seriously think about my luck before I realized that this thing just confirmed aliens exist?
Now, now, we need to get moving. As amusing as your self conversation is, I have the feeling you will be stuck here for an hour or two if I leave you to it.
For now, Choose your difficulty!
There are two different sets of difficulties. There is system difficulty and world difficulty. The system difficulty will decide things like experience given to the player or if rare loot will appear more frequently. This one can be changed at any time in system options.
World Difficulty, on the other hand, is set to each and every world. This difficulty can not be altered, and it is derived from how difficult it would be to survive in said universe.
For example, you can choose Medium Difficulty, but if you choose to play in a world like RE:Zero, where everything is against the player, the World Difficulty will be set to Very Hard.
With that in mind, choose your System Difficulty
Easy- If you feel like breezing trough a world, then this is the difficulty for you! In addition to everything having much less potential than you, the probability of an enemy scaling in power along with you is utmost minimal. Loot will be rarer and easier to get, and experience will be tripled.
Medium- The vanilla experience. The inhabitants of a world will still have much less potential in comparison to a Gamer, but if left unchecked they will still grow in power. If you make great enemies with someone, these will receive a boost that will allow them to grow faster. Experience and loot are set to spawn in a balanced way.
Hard- The Hardcore way of doing things. Death is almost guaranteed. Not only are enemies going to have the same potential as you, they are almost always going to be stronger than you. All enemies you make will receive a boost, and experience is set to half of what it normally is. To make things worse, skills essential to a Gamer such as [Gamer's Mind] and [Gamer's Body] will not be available to the Gamer upon boot up.
For more information, tap into any of the difficulties.
Sincerely, I wanted to feel a bit more skeptical than I was, but something in me prevented me from doing so. I have a feeling that I already know what it is, which makes this much easier to believe.
Well, in the subject of difficulty, this is going to be my life. So, upon being born, you had the chance from being born in a rich household, a middle household, and a poor household, would you not naturally choose to be born in the rich household?
Didn't have hands, or any appendage at the moment, which made me confused as to how I would 'Tap' any of the options, but the game just explained I could just will it so. That was neat. Naturally I choose [Easy]
The smaller details when I read the 'More information' tab were small quality of life improvements. Such as earning 25 Stat Points upon level as opposed to 10, People in the World being easier to Persuade, earning 3 Stat Points to all Stats upon Leveling Up instead of 1, and such things.
Great! Now that you have chosen your System Difficulty, we can go over the many worlds you can play in. I did a scan on your memories, and I have a feeling you will like what I have for you.
As soon as I finished reading the words before me, my vision was filled with blue.
There were a lot of worlds to choose from, so many that it would be tedious to go over each and every one. I recognized a lot of them. It took me only a second to realize that these were names were from some of the media he had seen during my life. Anime, TV shows, books, light novels, he recognized them all.
[HINT]
You can sort all of these worlds with the filter on the top right corner of your screen.
Well, that was opportune.
Mentally taping the filter option, I was met with a lot of options. Deciding that filtering by genre would be best for now, I choose two very specific genres.
[Slice Of Life] [Isekai]
The list got shorter, but there were still a lot of different options. I was amused by the potion of [Reborn as a Vending Machine] That was an interesting read. As funny as that would be, I would prefer to stay human, or at least, humanoid.
The reason I choose to filter by these two Genres is because so many Titles run on these, and a lot of these titles would be easier for me to start with. I didn't want to jump into AOT, that universe is scary.
Searching trough the many titles, I finally settled on one.
Isekai Nonbiri Nouka
Difficulty: Very Easy (Because of how a guy with a spear going at super speeds basically changed the power dynamic in the world, it is estimated that the power balance is very low, compared to other fantasies. That said, the Gamer will rule undisputed.
Magic System: Default (With this kind of magic system, one needs only feed the spell magic, recite the incantation, and the world will do the rest. Very Average system, and even a dummy can do it. Can be complex if the user wants it to be, but is the bare-bones of all fantasy.)
Summary: The Gamer will be thrown into the same circumstances Machio Hiraku. That is, they will be thrown into the forest of death, and the events in the novel will play out. Because a lot in the novel happens by mere coincidence, it is not unexpected for the timeline to change drastically.
Boons: The gamer will receive the same Boons as did Hiraku. That is,
[Healthy Body] (Passive) LVL 1/5 0%
This perk boost all of the body's natural healing, Mana production, Mana Capacity, Immunity to all Diseases and Faster healing from poison. Funnily enough, Hiraku was never capable of using the full extent of this blessing due to his incompatibility with magic.
Regenerates 10 percent of Max HP per Minute
Regenerates 15 percent of Max MP per Minute
Increases MP by 20 percent relative to Max MP
Increases HP by 20 percent relative to Max HP
[Poison Resistance] Skill receives 50 more XP
[Language Understanding] (Passive) LVL MAX
This perk automatically allows the user to speak and read the languages of the world.
It is considered a must-have for all otherworlders
The Almighty Farming Tool (AFT) [Legendary]
This mystic tool is the only reason someone as passive as Hiraku could change the power balance of the world. This tool allows to do anything which is related to farming to a degree which could only be called legendary. Crops planted in soil sown by this tool will grow naturally fast and extremely healthy, regardless of if the soil was deadly to all plants. If it related to farming, this tool will do it unprecedentedly well.
If attacking someone within melee range, deal a fixed 15000 DMG with no bonuses.
If thrown in spear mode, deal a fixed 30000 DMG with no bonuses.
This tool gives the user the knowledge of how to do anything related to farming extremely well, but its knowledge stops there.
The user won't get tired or hungry while holding the AFT
In situations where the user is endangered, as long as they are holding the AFT, they will receive enhanced speed and reaction speed, to the point where targets moving at speeds too fast to the naked eye seem to move normally.
As a little extra, this tool also has limited attacking power. It can transform into a spear which can then be thrown, and almost anything will be pierced in its wake. Other than that, that is all of its attacking power.
All things considered, this looked like the perfect place to start. I mean, look at the AFT's fixed damage. That's insane.
I always liked this title. When it comes to a chill novel about a simple dude building a village in a forest filled with the world's most dangerous women and animals, this is your thing. Admittedly, it is a very arbitrary set of nouns, but its good I swear.
Tapping the [OK] button on the bottom of the page, I confirmed my decision and the screen changed once again.
Welcome to Character Creation!
Here, you can modify your character's appearance, change your class, and allocate points.
Because creating a character with your mind alone will undoubtedly be difficult, you can just give me description and I will do my best to suit your wishes.
Modify the character's appearance, huh? Well, if I had a choice in it, I wanted to be handsome.
In my life, I would like to think I was never ugly or unappealing to the eye, but I was never handsome. If anything, my completely bland looks turned everyone away. That is why I would like to chose that, and for no other reasons such as pride or anything like that.
Can you give more to work with, paragon of Virtue? Just up and saying 'I want to be handsome' is such a vague description that anything could go. I need more if you don't want to be disapointed at what I give you.
If I am forced to elaborate, I really wouldn't know. Part of why I never could be anything more than bland is that I never really understood how to be more appealing in the first place.
I will leave it to you, game. You clearly know more about this than I am, just make sure it fits with at least one definition of handsome.
Is that a challenge? I will have you know that I am not much better than you when it comes to you humans and your beliefs, but I will try nonetheless.
[Processing...]
The screen stuck in that processing window for a couple of minutes before I blanked for a second, and I felt limbs attached to me again.
I opened my eyes, and while everything was still black, I could see my body from the neck down floating in the void. I couldn't see much of it, but I had a sense of trust in the system.
I appreciate that, but we must keep moving.
Now, onto choosing a class. For now, your choices are limited, but as you master more classes, new more advanced ones will be made available to you. Because you choose the 'Easy' Difficulty, you may choose two classes.
Please select a class
[Fighter] [Archer] [Mage] [Healer] [Rouge]
I have always liked the Rouge types, so for my first class, I will chose Rouge.
Please select a Specialization
[Assassin] [Mastermind] [Scout] [Thief] [Ninja] [Phantom] [Beast Tamer]
I looked over what each specialization entailed, and I decided to pick the Beast Tamer Archetype because of the nature of the world I was going to.
Please select a class
[Fighter] [Archer] [Mage] [Healer] [Rouge]
Of course, for my second class I was going to pick mage. In reality, if I didn't have the option to choose between two classes, I would have chosen mage because of how versatile it is.
Please select a Specialization
[Elemental mage] [Illusionist] [Summoner] [Theurgist] [Necromancer]
From Rouge Specialization
[Arcane Trickster] [Nightblade] [Arcane Beast Specialist]
Getting more power to my companions would be over classifying, so powering myself up would be the best course of action. I ended up selecting the [Elemental Mage] Specialization and the screen changed again.

Stat Tutorial
HP
As long as this stat isn't drained, the Gamer can't die outside of a few exceptions. One of these being decapitated.
MP
The amount of Magical energy inside a being. As long as you have enough MP, any spell can be cast.
STR
How strong someone is.
This ties directly into Melee combat. If you have a ton of STR, melee weapons will hurt a lot more, the Gamer will be able to use heavier, bulkier weapons, and be able to get out of situations a weakling couldn't.
Does not affect physical appearance.
END
How durable someone is.
END ties directly into the amount of HP the Gamer has. If you are high END, you will be able to take a lot of punishment without dying. Also affects how much stamina someone has, their pain threshold, and HP regeneration. HP regeneration for Non-Gamers is usually END x 4 for HP per Hour.
DEX
Affects a lot of things, the main ones being Speed, Reaction Speed and Hand-Eye coordination. If you have a high DEX, targets with 100 less DEX than you won't be able to see you move, and won't be able to react to your attacks. Also affects how likely you are to pickpocket someone, notice anything going on outside of your sight field, and hearing.
INT
A measure how how intelligent someone is. If someone has a high INT, they will be able to pick up subjects much faster, have greater thinking speed, and magic will be much easier for them. INT also affects whether the Player will notice certain things going on, how likely they are to fool someone and their book smarts.
WIS
This measures how Wise someone is. As opposed to INT, WIS measures how much someone knows about the world around them, and how it works. Additionally, it affects Mana Regeneration. With high WIS, The Player is far less likely to be Fool, Deceived, Swindled etc, and their Mana Regeneration is going to be high, allowing the Gamer to throw spells more often and with less stops.
CHA
How Charismatic someone is. CHA measure how likable The Player is, whether as a person or a love interest. With a high CHA, trade deals are always going to be on your favor, Reputation points will be far more easy to attain, Affection points will be easier to attain as well, and you might even be able to recruit your enemies to your cause.
LCK
How lucky some one is. LCK measure how much the universe either loves or hates the Gamer. With high LCK, rare drops from monsters will appear more often, things will sometimes go your way when they weren't supposed to, and how likely you are to land a roll.
I already had an idea of what each stat did, but reading this set some doubts aside. As expected, INT and WIS seemed to be some of the best stats because of how they affected MP.
I did wonder why my CHA was so high. I never got a skill which increased it, after all.
That would be because of the body I gave you. I might have gone a bit over-board when designing it.
Here, I'll make it a perk
Perk Gained
[Inhumane Appeal]
The body you now possess is beautiful. Inhumanely so. This Appeal is bound to attract eyes.
All CHA gains are doubled
All CHA rolls are far more likely to succeed
The Gamer is bound to attract attention. Weather it is good or bad is uncertain
Neat
Other than that, I did notice that the name socket was blank. I guess I should place one.
Please Input a Name
I have always been pretty bad with names. Going with something basic would be for the best. No one could flag me for Plagiarizing in another world, right?
[Ryu Hayabusa]
I might have to choose the [Ninja] specialization in the future to give the name some meaning.
Taking one last look at everything and making sure everything looked good, I finally tapped the finished button on the bottom of the screen.
You will be reincarnated in
5
4

1
Opening my eyes, I found it weird feeling gravity around my body once more, and my legs were a bit wiggly.
After taking a hold of myself, I looked around where I had landed.
As far as forests, went, this definitively looked like a forest. It seemed I really did land where the novel depicted. No civilization other than the beast men tribe somewhere around here should be nearby, and even that should be considerably far away.
For now, I should concentrate on finding a shelter. Rule of 3's and all.
New Quest
[Shelter]
You have just arrived in the this new world. While in other worlds you might have the luxury of spawning near civilization, such boon is not granted here.
Objective:
Find a suitable shelter before the end of the day
Side Objective:
Get a fire started before the end of the day
Rewards
1500 EXP [500 x 3]
Additional Rewards
600 EXP [200 x 3]
Time Remaining:
9 hours and 43 minutes
Oh, my first quest. That times 3 experience from easy mode would come in extremely handy, as it is clearly busted. Easy mode for the win!
I hadn't noticed at first, but as I started moving trough the forest, I noticed that I had clothes on. Since I am pretty sure I was naked in the Void, this little thing is appreciated. I am pretty sure it is what Hiraku wore in the Manga. Not the most comfortable set of clothes, but it would do for now.
Finding a shelter for now is what I will do. I will receive a great experience boost, after all. Creating a shelter from scrap is out of the question for now, so doing what Hiraku did himself should be my best option for now. That is, carving a tree's inside to make it hollow.
After that I could work on leveling myself and my skills.
The trees around me are big, but now big enough to house an adult human being comfortably. I will need to go deeper into the forest to find the bigger ones.
For now, lets test out the AFT. I don't have it in my hand at the moment, so naturally it must be in my inventory.
Opening the required window, I took out the AFT and it looked just as unimportant as it did in the Manga. If I didn't know it was the Legendary tool due to its description, I would have passed it as just an ordinary hoe.
I didn't feel much differently sincerely, but I shouldn't get tired as long as I hold on to it.
With that in mind, I started to walk around the woods.
For now, that is it folks
Sincerely, I don't expect this thing to get that many views, and I am using this as practice for future Gamer fics that I may or may not do. Just wanted something that I can write in and not feel stressed weather its gonna be good or not.
For that reason, if I messed up my numbers somewhere obvious, please mention it.
Like I mentioned before, if you are here to say that this is gutter trash, don't worry, I already know that.
I tried to stick to 1st person, but I feel I may have messed up somewhere.
Other than that, until next time, friends.
PD: Fate is for sure gonna make it into the universe in some way or another.
