Chapter 1
Our story begins one day in Metroville, where Elastigirl was sitting on a rooftop awaiting any possible crime.
"Nothing so far." Elastigirl said before she dropped down from the roof and rode on her hovercraft, which soon detected a crime nearby. She hurried there and saw that there was a gang of thugs at the park, scaring innocent people.
"All right, now listen, the boss wants all your riches, so hand them over!" said one of the thugs.
Elastigirl hopped off her craft and dropped in front of the civilians, "Sorry, but the only thing you're getting handed to you is your rear ends!" she said.
"Elastigirl!" the head thug said before they rushed at her with bats raised. They swung at her, only for her to stretch, duck, and jump out of the way. She then struck back with elastic punches and kicks, knocking each one of the bad guys silly before she walked up to the last thug, who was just before falling unconscious, and stomped on him.
"Where is your boss?!" she asked.
"I don't know! He contacts us! He spends every night in a different one of those old buildings! That's all I do know!" the thug said before Elastigirl punched him unconscious. The citizens cheered for her, which she smiled at.
A few children rushed up to her, "Elastigirl, can I have your autograph?! Me, too! Please!" they asked.
"Sure, just line up one at a time." Elastigirl said.
She then heard a sudden whooshing sound and recognized almost instantly what it was. Beside her, there appeared a 10-year-old boy with blonde hair. This is her son, Dash, or known as a superhero, Speed Demon.
"Hey, Mom!" Speed Demon said.
"Hi, Speed Demon." Elastigirl said with a smile as she signed the last autograph.
"Hey, Mom, will you play with me? Everyone else had to go on a mission." Dash asked as Elastigirl walked back to her hovercraft.
"Sorry, Speed Demon, I wish I could, but I have to track down a thug leader." Elastigirl said as she got on the craft.
"Aww, please, Mom! You can just have the others do it on their way back!" Dash said.
"Speed Demon, I have the best lead right now, and who knows how long it'll be before the others get back." Elastigirl said.
"Well, can I at least go with you?" Dash asked.
"Sorry, Dash, but these thug leaders carry heavy weapons. Just go back home and we'll play later, okay?" Elastigirl said before she rode off. Dash just looked sad.
Later, as Dash walked back to the Parr house, he saw someone in the road. They were wearing a cape and looked like they were looking at a watch.
"Hey, you need the time?" Dash asked.
"No, but an Incredible is about to have all the time in the world to regret meeting me." the person said, puzzling Dash before he suddenly felt himself kicked in the back of his head.
He got up after he fell to the ground and asked, "What the heck?!" before he started to rush at the mysterious person, only for the person to move out of the way ahead of time, a mistake, one would think. But, the man managed to actually hit Dash in the back of the head. Dash fell on the ground and got up holding his head. He looked at the man and tried a super speed assault, but the man slowed him down again and this time, he landed a multitude of strikes which heavily injured Dash before he fired a powerful shockwave that sent him flying.
Meanwhile, Elastigirl was just finishing up the warehouse case and was walking out after brushing her hands together.
"Another job well done. Now, let's go find Dash." Elastigirl said before she saw something falling out of the sky. She ran and caught it and saw to her horror that it was Dash. She just about teared up when she saw how hurt he was.
"Dash. My poor child." Elastigirl said before she heard someone.
"I told him that he would have all the time to regret crossing paths with me." said the man from before.
Elastigirl grew furious, "HOW DARE YOU HURT MY SON!" she shouted as she ran at im with every intent of beating him within an inch of his life.
"I'll make sure you never hurt him again!" Elastigirl shouted as she readied a punch.
"Oh, you'll see, I'll hurt him as many times as I wish.." the man said before he sent a strange wave out that covered Dash and Elastigirl in a blinding light.
