A/N: There are some lightish spoilers from the manga (Joint-Training arc), nothing I would consider too major considering the current state of the story. Please pardon any thing that is out of place in the story from the events of the manga, I don't remember every exact detail of it especially from the Joint-Training arc as it's one of the least memorable arc too me, this takes place after the arc and weeks prior to the "Do that Interview" from the Endeavor Agency arc. I chose Man of Steel because I think the plot goes well with what was happening at the time, the fact this movie is rarely written about and also because I like it alot.
It was a bleak and rainy and stormy night over the U.A, the moon was full and surrounded by clouds, the rain fell heavily unto the facilities and. Izuku Midoriya laid on his bed with his hands on the back and watched the ceiling as all he could hear was the heavy droplets of rain and a few shouts from Katsuki Bakugou, but he ignored it as he was much more deeper in his thoughts for he thought that something dreadful would happen throughout these months but it never came. 'In the morning it was clear and the sunshine was great, but than the clouds closed the sky and than the thunder and lightning fell and the rain fell heavily on U.A on what should have been a perfect saturday' Midoriya thought; 'maybe I am overreacting but I feel just as the day went from being clear to rainy, it feels as if...There is a gathering storm'
Izuku looked around his room full of All Might posters and figurines, Izuku wore a simple blue shirt and green pants. 'The League of Villains is still on the loose' Izuku said to himself in a low voice; ' they must have been getting stronger...but so am I'. Much had happened over the months, Mirio had lost his quirk, he had fought and defeated Overhaul, he and Bakugo defeating Nine, the joint training between classes and the activation of another quirk and a few more to come; He would be lying if he wasn't a bit excited to have more quirks, but...He felt a "final'' battle was coming, perhaps not within the year but it was coming, sooner or later whether with Shigaraki or All For One. He knew that All For One was not going to let himself be defeated, not like that...never like that, he had something grander in store for the world. But his generation was the one that needed to finally put an end to him. All this went through Izuku Midoriya's mind
His room started to glow, a box appeared, it was blue and red; It did not go unnoticed by Izuku, he got up and got close to the box. It was a fairly normal box; it had no markings other than the colour of it. 'It was my snack, not yours, you half-half bastard!!' Bakugo's ever loud words rang close towards Izuku's room but it was much "quieter" than usual Izuku thought, audible enough for it to be heard in a small section of the hall not the entire facility. 'It looked like mine,' Todoroki said. The box started to glow once again. The door to Midoriya's room opened, Bakugo entered, he wore a grey pants and a red hoodie, and Todoroki sweat pants and a white hoodie. 'What are you doing Deku!!' Bakugo said out loud, Midoriya shook his head; small beads of sweat fell onto his forehead but he quickly calmed himself. 'Watching a box' Todoroki said: Bakugo glared at Todoroki as his eyes looked like fire, Todoroki shrugged his shoulders.
Midoriya gulped and looked at his friends; 'It just appeared' Midoriya said; 'My room started glowing, could this be a trap? Some strange quirk manifesting? A prank?' Midoriya muttered to himself, Todoroki closed the door and Bakugo bumped Midoriya. 'Move!' Bakugo said as he sat next to Midoriya, and Todoroki sat too. 'Should we open it?' Midoriya asked, Todoroki looked at Midoriya. 'Your call' Todoroki said. 'What if it's a trap' Midoriya said as he looked at the box. 'Tssst, cowards' Bakugo said as he touched the top of the box and lifted the top, inside there was a crest. 'Just a dumb crest, it looks dumb; Is that an "S"? It looks too fat to be one' Bakugo said as he looked at the crest more closely. 'Shitty thing'
Midoriya got close to the box to get a closer look at the crest. 'It looks good, Inspiring in a way' Midoriya stated, as he looked at the "S" crest, the "S" itself was red and was inside a red diamond like layout. 'A bit' agreed Todoroki with Midoriya. 'Idiots. Just a dumb looking thing with no meaning, probably a prank for the tie in the joint-training' Bakugo said as he got up. 'None of class 1-B had a quirk that could do it, closest could be Manga but it doesn't seem to fit his quirk' Midoriya said: Midoriya touched the crest and it started to glow once again and the three started to warp.
The three were in the same positions as they were in Midoriya's room, but instead of the All Might filled room they were in, they now found themselves in a theatre room. 'Where the HELL ARE WE!!!' Bakugo shouted as he rose up; Fire was in his eyes, his eyes white as he started to curse. 'In a cinema' Todoroki said as he looked at Bakugou. 'Never been to one?'. Bakugo turned back, his eyes were flaming and his scowl was heavy, he put his hand near Todoroki's face. 'SHINE!!!' Bakugo shouted as he expected an explosion to come out from his hand.
Before Bakugo could react that his quirk wasn't working, a humming noise was heavy in the cinema; A drone flew around, it was futuristic looking it's platinum and grey colour scheme was heavy along with blue hues. 'What are you?' Midoriya asked, the drone got closer to them. 'A traveler, I wish to--', the drone was cut off by a shout. 'YOU BASTARD!!!'.
'YOU BETTER START EXPLAINING WHY MY QUIRK ISN'T WORKING!' Bakugo shouted at the drone. 'Please relax, I did it for security reasons, it's just a temporary disablement. If you want me to disable it just ask away' The drone said; Bakugo kept his glare at the drone, he turned to see Todoroki with an even harder glare. 'Disable it!' Bakugo said, Todoroki raised his hand and stepped back as Bakugo put himself in a more aggressive pose. 'WAIT!' Midoriya shouted. 'Why did the box bring us here? For what purpose?'.
'Tell us bastard or I'll break YOU' Bakugo said. 'Typical Bakugo' Todoroki thought as he looked at Bakugou. The three put themselves near each other and faced the drone. 'In short I am a "drone" or machine that is a copy of many more of course we all have different personalities but we all value the same thing. I and my "kin" travel the multiverse for we are a guild that enjoys showing the people of the multiverse , showing various persons the lives of important figures that in some ways are similar to yours; Perhaps to show a lesson and bring enlightenment, avoid tragedies, etc' The drone said. 'I call crap on that!!' Bakugo shouted, as he raised his fist. 'You have an ulterior motive'.
The drone "nodded"; 'Indeed, we love to see the reactions of seeing people when they see alternate versions of themselves; Different people and their struggles, heroes and villains battling and philosophizing on what they consider their right and wrong, and most importantly their journeys' It said; 'We value treating the guest as well as we can, for we are the "hosts" and it is only fair for interrupting your day'.
'Send me back, I don't give a damn about you and your "love of reactions" fucking WEIRDO!!!' Bakugo shouted, Todorki shook his head and Midoriya kept his gaze onto the drone. 'Still what do you want to show us?' Todoroki asked, Midoriya spoke; 'You still haven't explained what you are going to show'. 'Do you wish for me to explain it? Or do you wish to know it yourself?' The drone asked, the room started to expand and a stand with a small box appeared behind the trio; Midoriya quickly turned, Bakugo gave a brash turn and Todoroki a quiet but fast turn, the three approached the box before Midoriya stopped. 'What if it's radioactive? Or a way to capture us? Or we could get a disease and be carriers of a virus and our world--' Midoriya's muttering was stopped by a light slap on the back of his head by Bakugo. 'Cut it DEKU!' Bakugo said with a glare; 'If he did then I'll just slap the hell out of that metal bastard!!' Todoroki gave a slight chuckle at Bakugo's statement. 'of course you would,' Todoroki said, Bakugo turned his glare to Todoroki. 'SHUT IT!!!' Bakugo shouted as he raised his fist against Todoroki but he never fell it, Todoroki was calm and Midoriya sighed. 'Two-faced bastard' Bakugo said, Todoroki scoffed; 'Oxygened rocketed blonde bastard' Todoroki calmly said, before Bakugo could retort an answer Midoriya intervened; 'GUYS!!' Midoriya shouted, which shocked the two. 'Please calm down!!!' Bakugo growled; 'Don't order me around' Todoroki didn't say anything.
'If you wish to open it then open it and read it. I will not force you to be here, if you want I can return you home and never bother you again, if you wish I can even erase this encounter from your mind, do as you wish. If you want to destroy my physical form then so be it, whatever you choose as your path it is right and I agree and support you, I will not hold it against you' The drone said as he hovered in front of them.
The trio looked at each other and they thought for a moment; 'This is strange no doubt, but maybe we can learn something with what the drone wants to show us. Whatever it may be, it did say it was one of their purposes' Midoriya thought. 'Anything to get this crap going, let's open the box and read what this bastard wants' Bakugo said with a dismissive nod. 'Agreed' Todoroki said he would be lying if wasn't intrigued. 'Let's do it' Midoriya said with a nod, Midoriya walked and opened the box and there was a letter which he read out loud.
'I will be showing you three or more if you wish to bring more of your own classroom or the others. I will be showing you a film about the origins and life of the "Man of Steel", which the movie is called "Man of Steel" . This happened in another universe similar in some ways to your own but very different in many ways. The Man of Steel is one of the greatest heroes of earth in many universes, though sadly in this one he has a rockier start as he has a struggle with his life' Midoriya read, the letter caught the attention of the three once they heard it was film about superheroes, and the title of Man of Steel was certainly captivating enough for the three.
Midoriya smiled a bit once he finished the letter, Bakugo was a bit dismissive but he had interest as Todoroki did despite his calm and stoic face. 'Do you wish to see it?' The drone asked. 'Yes please' Midoriya said. 'Yeah put the movie, damn bastard' Bakugo said with a small glare and his head going back, Todoroki gave a simple nod. They made their way to a row of seats, Bakugo sat next to Midoriya and Todoroki next to Midoriya.
Bakugo put his feet on the seat in front of himself and got comfortable, Midoriya was excited, he leaned a bit forward with a smile, Todoroki sat in a more plain manner, the drone went to the back. 'Do you wish for any beverages or treats?' The drone asked. 'BASTARD!, get me something spicy and tasty and cold water,' Bakugo said. 'Could you bring me katsudon and um any type of cold canned soda' Midoriya asked for. 'Soba, cold soba and cold water with ice' Todoroki said in a deadpan manner, the drone made their desire true and made their treats and beverages appear next to their cup holder. 'Shall we start?' The drone asked. 'Yes' The three said in unison, the lights of the cinema turned off and the screen started projecting the movie.
A calm music started playing through the cinema speaker, on screen a turning image with symbols appeared and revealed itself through the dark, it was a logo coloured dark metal with two stylized words "WB" on the logo, and across it there was a label with the words "WARNER BROS. PICTURES" and above it, the words "A TimeWarner Company" were laid down in the same style above it. The Image once again turned, and a calm but strong pulse came throughout the cinema, it showed a strange logo and underneath it the words "Legendary" was under it. 'This film better be!' Bakugo said as he raised his fist, once again things started to turn and move around as once again that calm but strong pulse rang throughout the cinema.
Another logo once again appeared, it was a "C" half covered by another sheet, underneath it read "DC COMICS" and "FROM DC ENTERTAINMENT"; 'Clever logo' Midoriya thought, he wished for his notebook and a pencil but he none, but suddenly those two former mentioned appeared on his lap, he quietly thanked the drone and started making new notes, which earned an irritated head shake from Bakugou. 'I think Jiro would love this soundtrack' Midoriya said, Todoroki shook his head. 'I think not, she is more into rock and that type of genre, but maybe she would appreciate it' Todoroki said. The pulse came once again along with the almost divine, calm and alien like noise the soundtrack had. "SYNCOPY" a logo with a labyrinth-like thing surrounding it along with a dark background. 'Too many goddamn turns and pulses, when are we going to get to the movie!!' Bakugo shouted, as soon as he said that heavy pulses rang through the cinema, a small scream and grunt of a woman was heard which made the three uncomfortable, a woman that was lying down on screen appeared.
She appeared to be in pain, she was grunting and the pulses became a bit stronger, then a more heroic theme rang through the cinema. On screen there was hand holding as the heroic theme became stronger, a metallic like substance that formed the heart pulsed. 'Are these aliens?' Midoriya asked himself as he analyzed the machine. 'Probably' Bakugo said, the woman once again appeared on screen. 'Maybe just advanced humans?' The three thought. The woman was grunting, a hand fell on to her hair, and a man seemed to be looking at her; the machine kept pulsing, than it materialized an infant, the boys gave a slight blush once they knew the woman was giving birth; A sense of uncomfortableness and embarrassment filled them, but they settled a bit down, they know how children were born and the three had some interest in woman so there was that, still it was a bit strange for them but they settled down if they could face great dangers with courage so could they face a birth, the three thought.
The pulsing kept ringing through the cinema, the woman grabbed tighter on the shoulder of a man which the three assumed was her husband, she kept giving small screams. The pulsing became faster, the woman looked at her husband as her face was covered in sweat. The scene transitioned to a full shot, the woman was on a birthing bed, her husband was close to her as were two machines. The husband kept close to her wife, soon she started to scream as the pulsing came out faster. 'What the fuck is this?' Bakugo asked himself, Todoroki was going to answer Bakugou but Midoriya slightly shook his head his head as he looked at him, and he did not answer.
The husband paid closer attention to his wife, as her screams became louder, the heroic theme still lingered and rang through the cinema. She finally gave a last scream, and so life came to the world, a music that was like a lullaby was in the sound, the woman looked relieved, the shot changed to a newborn trying to cry, and it finally did it gave a great cry as that lullaby like theme played in the background, soon the shot transitioned to a cow like creature that was definitely alien and it screamed as birds passed over it, as the lullaby sound became greater, soon it showed a panoramic scene, a red sun shining over a city as ships flew over and a shattered moon over the sky.
'What could have shattered that moon? Was it a creature?' Midoriya thought; 'Did that newborn's cry have something to do with the animal screaming?'. On screen a "woosh" noise played, there was a dark metallic tower with blue hues and surrounded by alien ships appeared, as an ominous music played. 'Something bad is going to happen, I know it' Todoroki said, Bakugo gave a slight nod. 'I hope not' Midoriya said as he was intrigued by the movie, he kept making notes, though they resembled more "minute theories" than the comprehensive notes he usually makes
"Do you not understand, Krypton's core is collapsing. We may have only a matter of weeks. I warned you, harvesting the core was suicide, it has accelerated the process of implosion" The man that had previously appeared was speaking in a large room, he wore a type of metallic suit, he was infront of a group of people who were sitting. 'Fucking idiots, who is that stupid to do "harvest" your own damn world core' Bakugo said. 'Maybe we'll see why? Could be greed, but even then they should have known better. Maybe a last desperate attempt to save themselves?' Midoriya said as he looked at Bakugo; Bakugo kept himself focused on the movie, and nodded. 'Maybe' Bakugo said.
"Our energy reserves were exhausted. What would you have us do El?" A man said he wore some strange ceremonial attire. 'His name is El?' Midoriya thought as he scribbled down notes on the man, and a small sketch of the man. "Look to the stars, like our ancestors did, there are habitable worlds within reach. We can begin by using the old outposts" El stated, he was in full view and the "S" crest was in full view, as the camera focused onto an old lady that wore a similar armour to the other man El was talking too. 'It's the crest from the box' Bakugo thought; 'Is that bastard drone a construction from those dimwits of the movie?'
"Are you seriously suggesting that we evacuate the entire planet?" The old woman asked as the same ominous music from before played. 'Well of course he is, it's the logical thing to do' Todoroki stated; 'Idiots' He thought. 'Why does this council seem unintelligent? It's almost as if they can only think a certain way' Midoriya said. "No. Everybody here is already dead" El said. Bakugo started laughing, Midoriya raised his eyebrows and shook his head and Todoroki lowered his head and put his hand on his forehead. 'He wants to be the number one hero? I worry for the future, but if my father can be the number one hero then I guess anything is possible, even if he never won the title from All Might' Todoroki thought. 'Oh Kacchan' Midoriya said with his eyes in white and his forehead in purple. 'DON'T CALL ME KACCHAN' Bakugo screeched with a glare.
"Give me control of the codex, I will ensure the survival of our race, there's still hope," El said. Midoriya nodded at the man; 'I hope he can save his race and his son' Midoriya thought. It was a dreadful thought of having your entire world be destroyed and there was nothing you could do to save it. 'Good luck on that. Your leadership is full of dumbasses, ' Bakugou thought. 'Indeed, I have seen more competence from first time villains than those "leaders".' Todorki jokes, Bakugo gives a small nod to the joke, Midoriya smiles a bit.
"I have held that hope in my hands" El said, as he tried explaining to the council before an explosion from behind, Bakugo instantly paid more attention. The explosion on screen soon turned to gunfire noises, as El looked concerned, the scene changed; There were three guards with spears being shot by blue ray guns, as smoke filled the hallway. 'Now we're talking' Bakugo said. 'Rocket-head' Todoroki muttered.
The gun fire continued, and the old woman looked in fear. The gun fire was over, as a group of shadowy figures were on screen, their armour was visible. They started walking towards the room, to reveal a man in a black armour looking at the council, along with his followers. "This council has been disbanded" The man said. 'Finally someone that does something!!' Bakugo said, though he did disagree with the killing of the guards. 'Bakugo, he just killed three men' Midoriya said. 'Did I say I agree with the killing part? Dumbass' Bakugo said, giving a small huff at the end. 'Well you did once want to be named "King Explosion Murder", not far off to think you would agree with that man' Todoroki said as he placed his hand on his chin, Bakugo glared at Todoroki and almost launched himself. 'IT SOUNDED COOL, BETTER THAN ANYTHING YOUR HALF FREEZED AND HALF BURNED BRAIN CAN COME UP WITH!!!!' Bakugo shouted. 'This is gonna be a long movie' Izuku said to himself
