An Ultimate Betrayal-Ch 1
Derek smiled as he brushed Penelopes hair out of her eyes, she giggled and whispered, "thanks hotstuff" to the man that she'd been dating for almost 6 weeks. The team had just recently found out and were excited for the two, they had all said that it was about time they final got together.
JJ had laughed and said, "we were afraid that the two of you were never going to pull your heads out of your butts and get together". Fran Morgan was thrilled that her son had finally told Penelope that he was in love with her and that they were together, that meant that she was getting closer and closer to finally getting those beautiful grandbabies he'd been promising her all of these years.
Life for the two seemed to be falling into place, their jobs were keeping them busy and they loved catching the baddies and putting them in jail where they belonged. Penelope had been keeping in close contact with her brothers, well three of them, the oldest 3 Payton, Patrick and Paul, the baby boy Peter didn't want anything to do with Penelope or his brothers.
The last time she had talked to Payton he had told her that none of them had heard from Peter for over a year and before that his contact with them was sporadic at best. She blew out a deep breath and agreed with her brother as he said, "Peter got in this bad mood on his own and he can fix it on his own sweet P".
Derek and Penelope were currently walking off of the elevator and walking toward their cars, they were heading to their separate homes to get ready and Derek was taking Penelope out to dinner. They kissed passionately beside her car before Derek reluctantly opened her car door and stepped aside so she could slide in.
She said, "I love you", he brushed his lips over hers again and said, "I love you to baby girl, now you be careful and I'll pick you up at 7". She nodded her head in agreement and said, "see ya them my God of chocolate sculpted thunder", he laughed and said, "woman you are crazy, you know that right"?, she giggled and said, "don't hate the playa hate the game".
He said, "yeah right playa" as he stood watching her start Ester and pull out of her parking spot, he stood watching until she disappeared out of sight before sliding into his truck. He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't notice the small black car that pulled out a few car lengths behind him.
It was the same car that had been following him for the past 6 weeks, the same person had been following him with one thing in mind, to keep him away from Penelope. The man smiled as he gripped the steering wheel, he followed Derek as he pulled up onto his street, the man then stopped and watched as Derek climbed out of his car and headed inside.
The man driving the small car looked at his passenger and said, "it's time that we put our plan into action", the man smiled wickedly and said, "I couldn't agree more, I couldn't agree more" as they then pulled away from the curb and headed south.
At 7 right on the nose Derek was knocking on Penelopes apartment door, she opened the door and said, "welllllll don't you look nice angel fish"?, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her lips and said, "you look like a five course meal and Derek Morgan is a starving man".
She laughed and said, "well then let's get this dinner started so we can come back here or go back to your place for some dessert", Derek kissed her lips again and held out his arm and said, "your chariot awaits madam", she shut the door behind them and then looped her arm through his as they headed toward the stairs.
Across the street two men sat watching as Derek opened her door for her before walking around to the drivers side of the truck and pulling away from the curb. The car fell in line behind them several car lengths, the passenger of the small black car looked at the driver and said, "are you sure it's time"?, the driver said, "ohhhhh it's past time, it's soooooooo past time to get her away from him".
The passenger smiled and said, "yes, she belongs with me, I love her, I've always loved her and that two timing, man whore is going to get what's coming to him". The driver grinned and said, "I love the way you think my friend I love the way you think" as they continued following Derek and Penelope until they pulled into the parking lot of the place they would be having dinner.
