"Ok, let's see…" Adam turned on his laptop and opened the new job application site for the fifth time in one week.

At the same time, his cell phone rang, so he picked it up while he browsed open positions.

"Hello?"

"Hey!"

The boy blinked in both confusion and surprise at a voice he had not heard in a while.

"...Julie?"

"Wow, you remembered me"

"I haven't forgotten my sister"

"I found an open job for you!"

"Uh, I was just looking for one on this new site…"

" ?"

"Yeah…"

"Ohh! You should be able to see it there, look up Freddy Fazbear's Pizza"

"Uh...ok"

Adam found it quite quickly.

"It's for...a security guard for the night shift?"

"Yeah!"

"Don't you need training and stuff to be a security guard?"

"Well, it's more of a night watchman, give 'em a call!"

"Ugh...fine…"

"Great! I'll see you tomorrow bye!" *click*

Adam sat still with a deadpan expression on his face.

He sighed again and began to dial the number.

It was picked up after the first ring.

"Freddy Fazbear's, how can I help you?"

Adam's face dropped into another deadpan.

"Hello again, Julie…"

"Oh, hey Adam, what an unexpected surprise!"

"Did you really make a fake job opening with a fake company just to prank me?"

"No silly! This is a real company! I got a job here"

"But...why?"

"I miss my little brother! I haven't seen him in a few years"

"Well...I-"

"What's wrong? You don't want to see me?"

"N-no, I just-"

"*sob* you're so mean Adam *sob* I save this job just for you, and you don't even want to see me!"

"Julie, I-"

"*loud sob*"

"Ok! Ok! I'll take the job…"

"Great! I'll see you tomorrow Adam!" *click*

That girl…

Adam closed his computer and sat back in his chair.

He looked down when something touched his leg.

"Hey Charlie" he reached down and pet his loyal companion, his only friend for the past few years.

"I'm going to start working tomorrow"

"Ruur"

"I know, you don't like being alone, but we don't have a choice. You don't want to be out on the street again, right?"

"Rruf"

"Yeah…"

Charlie was a smart dog, the smartest he's ever seen.

He was out on the street, Adam took him in, ever since then…

They bonded more than any pair of friends could.

"You're hungry, right? Me too"

Adam got up and prepared two meals, dog food just didn't feel right to Charlie after all that time on the street.

Adam walked into the living room and sat on the couch with his plate, putting the other beside him for Charlie.

They eat together, watch TV and movies together, they do anything together.

They take on the world together.

"I don't know what I'd do without you, bud"

THE NEXT DAY

Adam looked up at the colorful sign advertising the place he was going to sell his soul to, and a big, goofy looking bear.

Adam stepped into the building, being struck with the smell of pizza and that one smell you always know, but can never identify.

"Adam!"

He had just enough time to glimpse a sight of purple before he was consumed by what felt like fabric wrapped marshmallows the size of grapefruits.

His confusion turned to a primal panic that took over after not being able to breathe.

"Ohh! I missed you so much!"

Any response or cry he could make was muffled by his soft prison.

The grip on him loosened enough so he could breathe again, but it still felt like he was being restrained by steel bars.

"Come on, lets go to my office!" She began to drag him through the empty restaurant and into a room.

He was plopped into a chair on one side of a desk, he looked across it to see his sister.

'Wow...she's changed a lot since last I saw her'

She'd gotten taller, her hair was purple now, and she's grown in what some guys might say 'all the right areas' significantly.

"Here, this box has everything you need, your hours will be from midnight to six, and i'm going to be moving in with you"

"W-what?"

"Your shift starts in ten minutes, have fun, i'll see you again soon!" Julie left the room before he could say anything.

Adam sighed and opened the box, finding a uniform and a flashlight.

He changed into the uniform and stepped out into the dinning area, the lights were out.

He clicked on the flashlight and looked around, not knowing exactly what he was doing.

He found the stage and looked at the three bulky figures standing on it.

"You must be Freddy…" he spoke to himself as he shined the light on the bear.

"I don't know who you two are though…"

Adam jumped a bit at the sudden ringing of a phone coming from somewhere down a hallway at the other end of the building.

"Who could be calling now?" he asked out loud, then shrugged. "Eh, the place is closed and it's not my job to answer phones''

The ringing ceased after a minute, Adam began to walk around the room aimlessly.

XXBonnieXX

Bonnie had seen some strange people taking the night guard position, that was a given.

Lazy people who sleep on the job, bad people who steal things for money, and a few who were there only for the pizza.

This most recent one though, was new.

He was aimlessly wandering around like he had no idea what he was doing, and Bonnie felt like he wasn't wrong.

Bonnie shared brief eye contact with Freddy when the guard entered the party room.

They were both trying to decide if they should reveal themselves, but that's not always the best of ideas.

He might run away, or do something everyone would regret.

The guard exited the room, Bonnie would have stiffened if he wasn't already stiff.

He made eye contact for the slightest of seconds, and he noticed it.

The guard walked over to the stage. "Did...you just look at me?"

'Oh boy…'

"No...no no, I'm losing my mind already, they're shut off they can't be looking…"

Bonnie sighed in relief internally, before he saw the guard looking at Foxy's cove curtain.

'Oh no...dont look...dont look…'

He watched the guard approach the curtain, growing more worried by the second.

"What's in here?"

'Oh no!'

XXAdamXX

Another robot, maybe?

It says 'out of order' would he get in trouble for peeking?

No one would know, whats the harm?

Adam stepped closer and parted the curtain with a hand, shining his light into the stage.

He illuminated a pair of metal legs, and slowly followed them up to the rest of the body.

When he shined the light upon the robot's face, it suddenly recoiled.

"Yarg! Watch where ya point that thing!" the robot spoke in a clear pirate accent before suddenly moving toward him.

Adam jumped back as the robot dropped from the stage, advaning on him with a very rusty hook that still managed to look very sharp.

"What the hell!?"

"Yer gonna pay fer tha-*CLANG*

Something big and brown shoved the fox-like robot to the ground, Adam backed up further.

The thing that saved him was the bear that was supposed to be on the main stage.

"Grrr, ye must have lost yer mind, Fazbear"

"Go back in your cove, Foxy, we can't have another human die here"

The fox looked at him from the ground. "Yer lucky…"

The fox got back up and went back into the curtain, leaving Adam to look at the bear.

"I'm not going to hurt you, if you're smart, you'll go back to your office and stay there"

The bear went back to its stage and got back into its previous spot.

He stood there for a good minute, just eyeing the bear and his friends.

"So...no explanation? You're just going to stand there and pretend this never happened?"

"Yes" the bear responded.

Adam's eye twitched, then he eyed the bunny. "How about you? Have anything to say"

"I suggest you go back to your office and forget that this happened"

"Hell no! I'm not just going to forget almost being murdered, I want an explanation!"

"Please don't yell…"

"Look, I never wanted this job, but if i'm going to be spending most of my nights with four living robots, i'd at least like to know how this is even possible"

"We don't know, we just woke up one day, and here we are"

"Well that's just fantastic"

The yellow one started moving suddenly, it stepped off the stage and silently walked to the kitchen.

Adam followed it with his light before looking back at the other two, confusion showing in all of his features.

"Uh...she likes to spend time there"

"Well its not like I need to, or have the right to, give you permission to walk around. I genuinely don't care, as long as it doesn't involve trying to kill me"

Adam simply sighed and walked back to his office, sitting down in the chair and beginning to question if any of this was even real.

One thing was for sure, the next time he sees Julie, she's got lots of explaining to do.
