Chapter 1
Kaito P.O.V
Aoko was mad about "the too many secrets " and had hoped to date me. But I was also gay and liked Meitantei. I had tried to send her the message several times. Akako liked her! It was why the witch was pissed at the winter ski trip. Sensei had banned same sex couples on the contest and Akako had wanted to partner up with Akako then. She ended up with a fan and had even given him her autograph but I still remember it.
-Flashback-
"You're gay aren't you Akako-sama? I idolize you and like you a lot but I know the signs." he said. She smiled and nodded. He sighed. "Thanks for skiing with me at least. It meant a lot." he said. "Most wouldn't." She smiled. "No problem and you will find someone." she said.
I smiled. "You are really sweet. You know that." I said. "I still want to hex sensei for what she did. Aoko would never forgive me then would she?" she said.
"No. But she is kind-hearted person Akako. Just give her time." I said. "You need to tell your detective shrunken or not. He'll litsen." Akako said.
-End of Flashback-
I sighed getting to icecream shop. It had every kind of icecream possible too. "Chocolate recesses swirl double." I said and paid for my icecream. "Mocha coffee please" said another voice. I then saw a full grown Shinichi get a double-scooped coffee flavored icecream. I went and sat down with mine takeing a lick. This made what happened with Aoko a bit better. Shinichi was licking his cone quitely and I noted he wasn't a messy eater.
I hope that I am not reconizable as Kid. Suddenly someone collasped dead in the parlor. Shinichi looked over everything and talked to everyone and soon got to me.
"Know the victem?" he asked. "Just got here. You saw that." I said. "Yeah. I did. What were you doing before?" he asked. "A childhood friend had a fight with me. You can call and ask. That was what happened before." I said handing over Aoko's number. During murders they had to know a lot. Shinichi called and it was confirmed. "Your childhood friend is Nakamouri-keibu's daughter. Might need your help." he said. I helped him find the killer which turned out to be the assistant working there.
Apparently they got her mother fired and she was mad about that. As I was helping him I thought about my reasons.
Oaji died in front of me 10 years ago and no one would ever be able to proove it. I could never go to Nakamouri-keibu or anyone. I wanted the killers caught for what they did and to stop them. That was my reason but to do that sometimes you had to play dirty. "Thanks. You didn't have to help me but you did." he said smileing. I shrugged. "Was here anyways and I had nothing better to do." I said. "True. Since you helped me and cleared that girl's consious about her mom how about I get you some lunch." he said.
We went to a burger stand he spoke. "Whats up?" he asked. "Just thinking. She had a reason. I guess everyone has motives...like you do as a detective." I said.
He smiled. "True. Your papers on the case said your name was Kuroba Kaito. Are you related to Kuroba Toichi?" he asked. "That's my dad." I answered. He smiled as we ate together. After we ate I jotted down my number. "For if you ever want to talk to me. It was nice meeting you." I said and left.
-Not far and just around the corner-
Normal P.O.V
Aoko paused seeing Kaito smileing and talking to the famous Kudo Shinichi. "I didn't know Bakaito swung for guys? It explains why he was so closed off and why he didn't want to go out with me though. A lot of people in Japan are against gays." she thought. Wanting to be a cop and be more fair Aoko didn't care about such a thing. She also had figured out Kaito was Kid back on their fake-date to get rid of her dad's suspecions of Kaito being Kid. "I hope he's good for you Kaito." she thought smileing as she watched the detective smile at Kaito. Then she thought about a certain mysterious yet kind witch.
"I think Akako wanted to do something with me since sensei is still banning same sex couples from stuff. It might be fun." she thought. "We could also have a movie party."
-A Few Days Later-
Kaito P.O.V
I was working on a Heist Note when I got a text. "Calling all magicians! Come to Beika!" it read. It was from Shinichi. I laughed and typed
"It's early. What is it?"
"Heard you liked sweets and Sonoko found a new sweets shop. Come on or I am dragging you out of your house." he sent. I guess I am literally kidnapped by a detective. I smiled getting dressed and left.
