Yo. Another one. Enjoy.
Annabeth was ticked off.
Really ticked off.
She had just spent the last couple of hours stocking shelves. Only to bump in one on her way out and have it come crashing down on her.
Needless to say, she certainly had a good reason to punch the dude.
She had been taking a turn at the counter when she dropped a pen. She bent down to pick it up at the same time that a guy was tapping her to ask about something. Didn't go too well for him when she swung upwards.
The man groaned and clutched his nose. "What was that?" he asked.
"Sorry," she said. "You shouldn't just scare someone like that."
"You randomly just hit people in the nose when you get scared?"
"Sometimes. When it involves annoying dumb people."
The man shook his head. "Unbelievable. You assault me for asking a question, then insult me."
"Well, that's my style. Take it or leave it."
He smiled. "Alright. Do you know where the toothpaste is?"
"To the left. Aisle 7."
"Thanks," he said, then left.
She watched him go. She probably shouldn't have hit him like that. But eh.
Who cares.
She saw him again when he was leaving.
Their eyes met.
Then he grabbed his things and left, she went back to work, and they never met again.
Follow. Fav. Review.
Peace.
