There was nothing at first, just a scream and that's when she felt it, like a stab through the chest. Bela gave no parting words, just a pained scream.
"He can't..."
It was a feeling she felt right before she fully found out. The black rose upon her chest, the very top one began to wither and die. Bringing her hand up, her fingers touched upon it just as the petals fell away, becoming nothing but ash.
"No, no, not Bela. Not my baby! Noooo! I'll kill him! I'll kill you Ethan Winters! What have you done to my daughter!?"
She rushed through the castle, hell bent on finding him and crushing the life right out of him like he'd just done to her daughter.
She found Bela near the dungeons and kitchen, standing like a statue. Her body was frozen in time, sickle raised for her final strike which would never come ever again. Alcina's hand reached up to caress her daughters face, which was set in pain.
'I feel no pain,' she remembered her daughter telling her, though she knew it was a lie as the eldest you couldn't show anything. But now she stood for all time with that pained expression upon her face.
"I will find him and I will kill!" Alcina vowed as she ceased the tears that fell. There was no time to mourn now, she could do that later once that bastard was dead. "You can run Ethan Winters, but you'll never hide!"
oOo
The next to go was Cassandra, the young naive fool had him cornered in the armoury. Ethan had done the exact same thing to her, blowing open the side wall to allow the cold air in.
"No, you're my prey! Mine!" Cassandra's dying words were said as she followed in her sisters footsteps.
oOo
Alcina had only just stepped into the main hall to call upon her daughter at the time.
"Cassandra?" there was no sign of her as she would always come on the first call. "Cassandra!?"
The right flower was now withering and dying as she looked down upon it, raising her hand to catch the petals that turned to ash in her palm she then balled her fist.
"No! How much more suffering will you put me through, you heartless bastard!"
oOo
Daniela had been in the library when Ethan barged right in on her.
"You came to see me, everyone falls for me given time." She teased as Ethan opened the glass roof. "No, why are you doing this? You'll kill me!"
He watched as she too met the same fate as her sister's.
"I don't wanna die," came her last words before she too became nothing more than a memory.
oOo
That was the very last, a sharp pain struck her through the heart that had her falling to one knee just as the last rose fell with her.
"You bastard!" she snarled, tears streaming down her face. "You killed my daughters! You will pay with your life!"
Ethan now knew he had the grieving mother to deal with, but now she was a lot more unstable. Nothing stood in her way, maids or the failures. Ethan could only look on at the raging beast headed right for him.
"You're a dead man, Ethan Winters!" she screamed as she ran at him, striking him with her claws.
Ethan flew through the air, his whole left arm flying high with him before raining down in pieces.
"I will destroy you! Eat every last bit of you!"
Ethan clambered to his feet even as the pain coursed through him.
"You come into my home and kill my daughters!"
"You took my baby!"
"She isn't here!" Alcina screamed as she now cried out in pain as her body morphed, pulling her apart to reform into a large dragon.
"I will kill you!" she screamed as she charged right through the castle wall, tearing up anything and everything in her way as Ethan ran.
He knew he wouldn't outrun her, but he'd tried. He really tried, but he was just no match for her. Her large jaws clamped down right on him.
"Rose!" he cried. "I'm so sorry!"
Alcina snapped her jaws shut, biting him in half before swallowing the first half to then snatch up the rest of him.
"That's for you, my darling daughters." She now slumped down to never leave that very spot. She didn't care if she mutated beyond recognition. She'd only ever care about one thing, her daughters. A lone tear rolled down her scaly skin as she closed her eyes to await her fate.
