I'm nervous, my palms are sweaty I don't think I've ever been like this. I love Rory I don't want to lose her but I also really want to take the next step. Maybe I should asked her Mom what she thinks or what about Richard possibly Luke I don't think I can ask Christopher until I've decided
Bing Bong - The Doorbell Ringsat the Gilmore Mansion
Emily answered the door shocked to see Logan waiting on the other side "Hello Logan what can I do for you?"
"Hello Emily" he was starting to lose courage now so he stuffed his hands in his pockets "Any chance I could speak to Richard" he was shifting on his feet now
"Yes of course he's just in the study should I go and get him?" She said shutting the door behind him
"Uhh..." he paused to think "No thank you it's private"
"Okay" Emily left Logan to let Richard know reappearing a few minutes late "He will see you now"
"Thank you Emily" he said straightened his clothing before stepping foot inside the study
"Ahh Logan what can I do for you?" Richard said putting the phone down and directing him to a seat
"I need your help it's about R...Rory" he said stumbling over the last part
"Is she okay? Or is it something else" He saw the nerves on his face which made him less worried but also equally worried
"Something else" Logan said smiling to himself
"Hit me"
"I want you to know I really love Rory, I never thought a girl would get me out of my playboy ways but Rory did I want to spend every minute with her so I guess I'm asking can I marry her? Or is it too soon?"
"You should get approval from Lorelai not me but I've seen the way you act around her I think you should ask"
"Thank you Richard. Yes I'm planning on asking her mom when I've made up my mind" Logan said
"Okay. Can I offer you a tiny bit of advise?"
"Yes please" he said looking at the older male
"In all my years of knowing Rory I can safely say she doesn't care for big gestures she likes private and simple. She easy to please but also likes to research and plan I wouldn't expect yes straight away"
"Thank you Richard"
"No problem son, I hope she says yes"
"I do to" with that he once again thanked Richard and gave him a quick hug before leaving the Gilmore Mansion
"I want to do it" he said to himself with this realisation he decided that he should buy the ring and ask Lorelai. He chose a ring that would fit her personality and her looks perfectly. It had a a silver central diamond with 2 smaller blue diamonds either side. The band itself was a white gold. With it picked out he drove off to Stars Hollow
Bing Bing - The Doorbell Rings At The Crap Shack
Lorelai got up to answer the door shocked by who it was "Hey Logan Rory's not here this weekend I thought you knew that?" She was puzzled by his appearance
"Hello Lorelai I know Rorys not here which is kind of why I am can I come in?" He asked getting nervous again.
"Yes of course make yourself comfortable" Lorelai said shutting the door. They took their place in the living room before Logan started
"I never thought a girl like Rory would like me for me. I never thought I would get out of my old ways. Rorys challenged me since the day I met her she give me a run for my money. I want to spend every minute with her I want to grow old with her..." Logan had begun rambling about Rory now so Lorelai interrupted
"Logan I'm glad you guys found each other. Now I'm sure you didn't come here to state your feeling to me about my daughter"
"No I wanted to ask your permission to marry her. I know we are young but I never want to leave her. Hell if I did then I will fling myself off the tallest building"
"Of course you can marry her." Lorelai practically threw herself at Logan embracing him in a fierce hug he showed obvious signs of discomfort "Firstly let's get one thing settled"
"What?" He asked
"Umm 2 things" she corrected "First you need to be less uncomfortable with hugs from people however that's your parents doing you aren't used to them yet. Secondly do you have a ring?" She asked him eager to know
"Okay I can do that. Yes I have a ring" he said getting it out of his pocket
"Wow this is prefect for her" Lorelai was amazed at how beautiful it was
"I hope so I must off spent 2 hours in the store finding it"
"You are so whipped mate" she said laughing handing the ring back to him
"Thank you Lorelai" he stayed a little bit longer enjoying a drink as he explained his plan before excusing himself and leaving
"I will do it tonight" he said to himself in the car. It was perfect she didn't have finals anymore and they had planned to go out tonight anyway
