Camp Halfblood a haven for demigods. This was also true for Camp Jupiter, the camps had grown close over the past 100 years.

Most of the heroes from the time of Perseus Jackson have already perished.

Meg passed only days before, having the unfortunate luck to run into the minotaur.

Apollo threw said monster into the void.

Clarrise LaRue-Rodiguez, and Chris LaRue-Rodriguez had been dead for almost a decade, having died saving two children of Athena as they tried to reach Camp.

Hazel, Frank, Piper, and Annabeth fell while Percy, Leo, Will, and Nico were on a diplomatic mission with some gods of another pantheon.

Percy being the idiot he was, perished in the attempt to avenge his friends, and wife.

Leo died in a similar attempt.

Rachel died peacefully, and the spirit of Delphi was passed onto a 13 year old mortal named Savannah.

Thalia and Reyna were both still alive, but their time with the hunt kept them pretty occupied.

Connor, Cecil, Sherman, and Lou Ellen died in the defence of Camp Halfblood.

Barely any of the glorious heroes of the time of Perseus had peaceful deaths.

Travis, and Katie did have a pretty peaceful passing. Katie died 23 years ago in her sleep, and Travis died the same way 3 years after her.

Finally Will Solace-Di Angelo had a heart attack at the age of 98 and sadly perished.

Nico missed his husband, and at the ripe age of 114 Nico knew his time was near.

Nico and Will adopted 5 kids, all of which were demigods.

Two girls who'd both been orphaned during a monster attack,

one gender fluid child who'd been in the system their entire life,

a non binary child who was kicked out of their home,

and a boy, who'd actually been Will's sister Kayla's son, but after her untimely death he became his legal guardian.

Nico's time was coming. He knew it. A Son of Hades felt the presence of death on a person. It'd be tomorrow, a heart attack, at exactly 9:26pm.

Nico hugged his children for the last time. He didn't tell them, it'd just make it harder.

But he did have parting gifts for them. Stuff that he couldn't give them via will thanks to the mortals probably not being able to even see the things.

Sarah looked happy when Nico gave her his mythomagic deck (she LOVED to play), and Nico hated the fact that he'd be the one to ruin that good-mood.

Charlotte looked amused at the fact her father had given her his old sword/skull ring, but looked excited nonetheless.

(She was an amazing fighter, and helped out around camp sometimes.)

Corrie hugged the skeleton dog their father had given them. It was adorable, and Corrie had already named the dog William.

(This made Nico's heart ache, but he smiled nonetheless.)

Sam adjusted Nico's old black leather jacket that had just been given to them. It fit perfectly, and made Nico happy that he'd decided to keep it for his kids when it stopped fitting Nico.

(Nico looked pretty silly when he was 18 and walking around with a leather jacket meant for a 10 year old!)

Micheal looked at the arrow that Nico had given him in aw. It was bright yellow with a blue tip. This arrow actually wasn't Nico's but in fact Micheal's real mother Kayla's. Will and him had saved it for when the time came.

(He was 2 when Kayla died, and didn't remember her at all. He felt extremely lucky to have his dads get custody over him.)

The children left at a quarter to 9, and Nico smiled sadly. He took a piece of paper, and grabbed a pen. Then he started to write.

He told his kids how much he loved them. He told them that he was happy to be seeing his friends, and husband again soon. Then he wrote two seperate letters.

One to his cousin Thalia, and one to his friend who was like a sister, Reyna.

He asked them to look after something for him. Well not something, some one.

Last night Nico had found an injured Wolf Pup in the forest. He'd taken it to camp, and it was quickly healed by Cabin 7, but he knew that it'd be better if the wolf was raised with the hunters.

Nico still hadn't decided on a name, and he was running out of time. 3 minutes to go…

"Bianca." Nico said in a soft voice to the pup.

Said Son of Hades was right. Down to the second.

"Greetings, Nico."

"Thanatos. So you've finally come for me."

"Of course, you know that all life must come to an end, even one as good as yours."

Nico didn't say anything for a long while. "I am ready." He finally told the God of Death.

Thanatos smiled. "Come then. Hades told me to have you skip judgement. You have achieved Elysium."

"Perfect." Then they went to the Underworld.

There Nico would wait. He'd wait for his kids, and their kids if they so wished to have them, and he'd wait for his friends' kids.

But for now everyone had waited for him long enough. Today was his day to reunite.
