Lps High Ep. 7 Forget
It was a quiet morning and Sunil was finally getting up for a next day in school. This day he was hoping Penny would be there since she wasn't at school yesterday. He drove to school today instead of a bus because it was just a nicer trip. Most teens drove at this point and the roads were only full of them. He saw people he knew going to the same place and wondered if he would see Penny on the way. Fred noticed what he was doing "Hey kiddo are you checking the roads or looking for something or someone?" Sunil knew Fred could know his thoughts but he was surprised he didn't bring up yesterday with Pepper in class. "So I watched you yesterday in history Sunil. What was all that about working with Pepper Clark eh?" Fred asked. Speaking of the devil, Sunil thought he probably read that thought too. "Oh that it was just her helping me out on that paper I don't mean anything, just kindness" he said. Fred knew Sunil was trying to be loyal to Penny and not try to be around other girls. "Listen I know you're loyal to her but think about Penny kid. She's sweet,cute, and likes you but she can be something no one wants so don't forget that. I'm not saying dump her and go around longer looking, I'm saying don't make mistakes trying to keep something that isn't worth those mistakes,that's all. I'm happy for you two know that". Sunil knew Fred was there to keep him out of trouble but he also wanted him to do good things to keep great things.
He drove up to the student parking lot and stopped the truck. He grabbed his bag and headed inside for another day of school. He entered the calfeteria to see Penny sitting at a table alone "Penny...hey" he said and sat down beside her. Sunil asked how she was and he wondered where she was yesterday. "Oh I was at a friend's house all day yesterday,sorry couldn't text you back or come to school" Penny said. Sunil wasn't worried about it too much ; he just wondered why she could not text him back at least. They both ate breakfast together and went to the first class as usual. She waved goodbye to him and entered the classroom and sat down. Delina sat beside her "Penny...you wanna know something I saw yesterday in history?". Penny wondered what she saw and Delina began to explain "So you know your boyfriend is in that class. So he was making a big deal about some dumb paper. And I watched and seen that fuckin old rack Pepper Clark go up to him. She sat by him Penny helped and shit like that. She wanted your man, that's what I saw". Penny was pissed knowing someone like Pepper who she hates even looked at Sunil. "Ohh when I get my hand over that bitch! She's gonna wish she was in the past that fucking whore!" Penny yelled. She already hated Pepper for nearly everything but now when she did that with Sunil she was going to kill her.
As the day went on Sunil was in math listening to his teacher talk about the topic and as something came up he had to leave the classroom for a while. He told no one to get up and talk but obviously no one listened. Russell came over to him "Hey buddy it's been awhile since we have seen you what have you been up to?". Sunil had been doing so much with Penny and school he hadn't had time to talk to any of his friends. Russell understood Sunil was busy and he asked him how his first date was. "Wait,how did you know about that?" Sunil asked. Vinnie found out with a post on social media on Penny's profile. There are no secrets with the internet anymore, Sunil thought. "Well it was fine, interesting nonetheless Russell. Penny is great but she is kinda a big eater hehe" Sunil said. Russell agreed Penny loved food and that was no secret to anyone who knew or dated her. "So...i remember that thing you told me about Zo.." Sunil stopped talking as the teacher walked back so Russell had to go back to his desk. The teacher watched the silent class working once he came back in, it's what he wanted anyway.
Pepper was finishing in art class and Zoe was with her like aways. "So...are you going to talk to Sunil again in history Pepper?" Zoe asked her. "Oh...Sunil...yeah I might, I don't know...". Once the bell rang Zoe and Pepper parted to the next class and as Pepper walked away she heard someone "You!" She turned around and was Punched across her face. "You really thought YOU could get away with it didn't you" Penny said then grabbed Pepper's jacket and drug her to the locker and pushed her into it with force. She started to hit her repeatedly and pushed her down and started kicking her over and over. As she grabbed her again Zoe came running back "You get the fuck off of her!" Zoe said as she shoved Penny off of Pepper "Oh of course you would come back for her! You give to much of a shit about that fucking garbage Zoe!". Zoe didn't let Penny get near her "I don't give a shit about what have to say about us now you either get out of her or i'll put in these fucking locker Penny!" Zoe yelled. Penny got what she wanted. "You stay away from my man or else this will happen again and worse" she threatened Pepper and walked away. Zoe held Pepper talking to her "Pepper it's okay, it's over okay, she's gone. Let me see?" She asked as she wanted to see if Pepper was okay and not hurt or bleeding. Luckily she only had a small scar on her head where she hit the lockers. The principal showed up as he should and saw them. "What happened?" He asked them. Zoe just looked at him more concerned about Pepper crying. Zoe stood her up and told the principal if she could just take her home. He wanted to know what happened but he saw how Pepper was and let Zoe take her home.
Zoe drove Pepper home after all of this, she needed to go and not be there anymore today. "Pepper...you don't have to talk about it to your mom you can just go in there and have time with yourself okay". Pepper looking down with tears going down her face she thought how what she did was wrong. "I...can't...do anything...anymore...Zoe...i'm just a loser….Im sorry…" Zoe stopped the car for a minute and looked at her "Pepper you're not a loser. You helped Sunil because you thought it was nice to do. If she's got a problem with it….forget her. You know what I think?". Pepper looked at her "I bet Sunil will forget her for the same reason...I do" Zoe told her as she started to drive again. They arrived at Pepper's house and Zoe reminded her what she can do. She put her shoulder and gave her a hug before letting her go "Listen don't let them get to you...you're sweet and better than them all Pepper". Pepper left her car and Zoe began to drive off as a cassette Pepper forgot to grab and started to play"I didn't sleep all week or night long, waiting by my telephone. You said you'd call me bout a quarter to ten, but you went and stood me up again. I don't know what you gonna do but I'm gonna forget about you…"
