Cat's Purr (part 1)
On its continuing mission of galactic exploration, the USS Enterprise orbits a likely lifeless planet... named Pyris VII.
After Scotty, Sulu and crewman Jackson fail to return from an away team scouting mission,
Captain Kirk, Spock, and Bones beam down... to find:
A brooding, dark and fog-filled, rocky canyon.
Suddenly, an evil, foul smelling wind rises up...
Then the three turn at the sound of wailing... women's voices!
"We three... Can 'Be'... Any thing - or women... That Ye' wish to See!"
Then the three female witches all cackle loudly, before vanishing.
Kirk: "Analysis, Mr. Spock, please..."
Spock: "Very, very bad poetry, Captain. And they were likely holographic illusions. To believe otherwise would be illogical."
Bones: "Yes, Jim... For once, I do believe our pointy-eared friend... Is 'dead on' correct!"
Kirk: "Thank-You, both... Well, any further ideas?"
Spock: "Yes... My tricorder is picking up several life-form readings... In that general direction." (Spock points the way)
Soon, the three round a bend in the large rocks, and past the fog, they see... A large, brooding, grayish... castle!
