Lps High Ep. 5 Teamwork
After a long interesting date Sunil finally was able to go home. His mom or father was going to be upset about him being up on a school night at 11pm but he didn't worry about it as much. The roads were quiet, empty, and long as he felt like he was driving for hours home. He stared at the road as he would do and Fred asked him "So, that was a date?". Sunil knew Penny was a big eater and wasn't the nicest dress for special events but it's a first and many to come. "Yeah Fred, she likes food who doesn't some more than others and I think it's cute that she loves to eat". Fred smirked "So you like fat bitches?". Sunil turned to him "What?! No! I don't…Jesus Christ Fred". Fred laughed at him about it but Sunil didn't appreciate Fred referring Penny to that. "Ohh...im kiddin Sunil hehe. You like her and I try to have fun helping you as I can so she's not that…" Fred said. Sunil finally drove home as it was now midnight. He expected to see his parents come charging at him for this but no one was home to do so. Sunil didn't mind then went inside to end his night like any other.
The next day during school things felt normal as ever. Sunil hadn't seen Penny today and couldn't get to her messages so he was left bored. His friends were in another class so that wasn't an option and the teacher came in. He did his daily hello to the class and told them "So now that you're more into high school I feel like you guys need to have more social interaction because I see none in your phones get it and only a few don't care too often for their devices. So I need you all to get with a partner and complete this assignment about if you wish to work alone so be it just know you're missing out". He gave them the work and Sunil wasn't too pleased to see as much as he needed to work with someone no one was around. He tried to do some questions alone but he knew nothing about the topic and he showed a struggle. As he was having a hard time Pepper was in his class and she saw him struggling with the paper. She knew more about the topic than him so she thought to herself about going up to him and helping him. Pepper felt nervous about it especially since it was Sunil but she knew she didn't want him to fail this assignment. So she stood up and walked to his desk. Sunil was frustrated with the paper and she walked up and slowly said "Um...sunil?...". He turned around and he was surprised to see Pepper there. "Umm yeah what is it Pepper?" He asked. She stood there very stiff and shy but she knew she couldn't just be quiet so she told him "I..I saw you were having...trouble with the...paper...I was wondering if i could maybe...help you finish it?". Sunil was shocked even if he barely knew Pepper he knew she would never talk or be around anyone else but Zoe. "Uhh… yeah I mean I guess you could work with me". Pepper was relieved a bit knowing he said yes. She sat in front of him and they began to work. Pepper knew things about the assignment he didn't so it was good for him. Pepper went through most answers instantly but she also had explained a bit to Sunil. Then she found a question she really didn't know about. She started to worry Sunil was going to get inpatient or doubt her. "I...I don't know this one...i really don't… i'm sorry...Sunil" she said while looking down. Sunil looked at her "Hey...it's fine i mean it's okay you don't know. You knew the others so well and now i know them so what if we get one wrong let me see". Sunil looked closely at the question and it seemed familiar to him. He remembers the teacher going on for half an hour talking about how most students miss it. But after remembering that he knew the answer and he told Pepper what it was. She was really calm after Sunil didn't get so upset with her when most would. He took both of their papers to the teacher "Hey, Sunil, thank you for getting to know teamwork and the point of it" he said to him. Sunil went to his desk and saw Pepper getting up to go back to hers "Thank you" he told her. Pepper smiled a bit and walked back to her desk quietly. The class soon ended and everyone left there next and as Pepper walked out and away she heard someone call out her name. She looked back and saw Sunil at the door and he gave a slight wave with his hand to her and he walked away to his next class. Pepper looked down happy and she was very happy that she helped him and he wasn't like others to her. And as she walked away thinking about his kindness and their time spent.
