(Present day)
As Kara was sitting in her apartment alone late at night, she just sat by the window gazing out into the night. Thoughts continuously swarming her mind when suddenly, she heard a quiet knock at the door unexpectedly. She used her x-ray vision and saw that Lena was standing outside. Then she felt a small but controlled sense of excitement. Kara didn't know what had come of the two of them given previous circumstances. All she wanted was for things to go back to normal.

(Three weeks earlier)
"Hold on!" Kara shouted, as she pulled Lena along. Behind them they could hear a swarm of Dominators but there was no way that Kara could fly them out for the Dominators seemed to have a small stash of Kryptonite somewhere. Kara getting weaker and weaker by the minute almost gives out when a Dominator grabbed Lena in surprise. Suddenly, a huge rush of adrenalin came over Kara. "I got you babe!" She shouted, punching her way towards her.
As Lena landed on top of Kara, they gave each other a quick kiss, then stood up and Kara flew them both to safety. After dropping Lena back at L-Corp, Kara headed over to the DEO to let them know about her and Lena's enouncement with the Dominators. Right before Kara was about to leave though, Alex stopped her. "Kara, would you like to join J'onn, and I for a drink tonight?" "No thanks." She politely declined.
Then Kara just flew home and saw that Lena was already home from work. Happy to see each other, they kissed but it was a little longer than usual for they still had a need to be closer after that day. The rest of the evening they just enjoyed being with each other's presents and fell asleep together after a long mission.
