AN: Hey, y'all. I was inspired to write this fanfic very, very, early this morning, so I decided to write another Jill Valentine/Claire Redfield fanfic. I hope that y'all will love & enjoy reading it. Now on with the story.

Jill groaned for what probably felt like was the hundredth time that morning while she packed her bags for the nearly two weeks that she and her roommate/best friend would be away on vacation. Well technically, they were going to hang out with their friends. Albert Wesker, who's dating Claire's brother Chris, was rich as fuck and he owned a huge mansion. So they would all be staying there. Jill got both excited and nervous when she found out that Claire and her would have to share a room. It's not that she didn't like her, it was actually quite the opposite. She's very much in love with her. And she had been since they were in high school together.

She planned on taking at least three bags of luggage with her. Jill had already finished filling up two of them, she started working on the last one. That's when she heard a sudden crash coming from Claire's bedroom. Swearing under her breath, she ran out of her own bedroom to check on her.

As soon as she got there, she couldn't help but chuckle. Claire had somehow managed to get tangled up in her bed sheets and also falling off her bed in the process, so she was half on her bed and half on the floor. Jill noticed her roommate was blushing.

"Come on, Jill. Don't laugh at me. This was a complete fucking accident. One minute I was trying to cram this shit into one of my luggage bags, the next I ended up getting my foot caught in a sheet. Can you please help me?" Claire asked, pouting. All that she wanted to do was to disappear into the floor.

"I'm sorry, Claire. I honestly didn't mean to. I'm just glad that you're okay. At least you didn't break anything." Jill replied as she unwrapped the sheets from Claire's legs, helping her to stand back up.

"It's okay. I don't know what I'll do without you. You're my hero, supercop." Claire smirked as she watched Jill starting to blush. She always did whenever someone called her that.

"I'm just happy to help a friend in need. I think that we need to finish packing as soon as possible. I don't want us to be late. I'll like to have a quick snack before we do leave though." Jill stated, leaving to go back to her bedroom.

Claire nodded in answer, fixing everything up on her bed. She was done packing in less than fifteen minutes. She left her bedroom, making her way to their kitchen.

The two women were now on the highway, Jill was driving while Claire was in the passenger seat. She's on her smartphone, listening to music with the earbuds that Jill had bought her for her birthday last year. She loved them simply because they were a gift from Jill.

Claire watched scenery rush by them, but what or rather who she's paying attention to was Jill. She couldn't keep her eyes off the brunette and she really hoped that Jill hadn't noticed her staring.

Jill didn't. She was too focused on driving. It was snowing just a little bit right before they left their apartment, but now it's almost a blizzard outside. She knew that they would have to find someplace to spend the night if the weather got too bad. Jill did not want them to get stuck in that shit all night.

"So how far is Wesker's mansion from us anyway? Not that a mini road trip is a bad thing or anything. I'm just curious is all." Claire said, trying to make small talk. It wasn't her strong suit. But that didn't bother her one single bit.

"We've been driving for almost two hours already. I think it's two more hours until we get there. If you want to take a nap, you can." Jill replied with a soft smile. She just wanted to make sure that Claire was comfortable.

"I guess that I could use a nap. Wake up when we arrive?" Claire asked. After she got a nod from Jill in answer, she settled into her seat, pushing it back. She fell asleep a few minutes later.

Jill was about ready to scream out her frustration, but she remembered that Claire's with her and she didn't want to upset her. She had to let her know what was going on though. She reached over, gently shaking Claire awake, whose eyes fluttered open.

"What's up? Are we there yet?" Claire asked curiously. She pulled the seat back up and she looked outside through the front windshield. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"I know. The weather is getting worse. I just got off the phone with Chris, who's already there. We won't be able to make it tonight. We'll just have to wait until tomorrow or whenever this fucking blizzard stops. Don't worry, I found us a place to stay the night. It's one of those cabin-like places. I mean it's an actual cabin. I rented one for three days just in case. I carried our bags in. "Jill explained. She didn't want to wake her up, so she let her sleep for a little bit longer.

"Well, that just fucking sucks. At least we got somewhere to stay for a while. We better go in before it gets even colder than it already is." Claire replied, taking off her seat belt. Both she and Jill got out of the car, locking the car afterward. She followed the slightly older woman to their cabin.
