Prologue, The Tale

It wasn't always kingdoms and towns. In the beginning, there were three beginning deities. These deities were Undall, Ortos, and Naton. Undall, the god of beginnings, creation, and magic, was the father to the two brothers, Ortos and Naton. Ortos was the deity of law, judgement, light, the earth, and fairness. Naton was the deity of darkness, death, and destruction. Despite their extreme differences, the two brothers were connected in a way that should have made no possible sense. They were kind and to each other and were always thinking of ideas that they could, one day, do. When Undall believed that they were ready to begin creating their own, in a way, traits, he let them explore the overworld. They both took the form of humans and began exploring. For 120 years they did this, and along the way they helped humans better understand some properties of magic, of which their father had created over 2,000 years before, and spread creations of their own. Eventually, they both fell in love with humans and had the first demigods of the Cadrefis Pantheon. However, the brothers were not large enough in numbers to travel the whole world to spread the knowledge they knew. And so, Undall created another deity, Imera. Imera was a charming, caring, and beautiful being. She was the deity of Life, Growth, Nature, Wildlife, Equality, and more. Because of her, animals thrived and populated almost all the land. But with this creation, Undall realized, there had to be Destruction, for one cannot exist without the other, or else chaos will ensue. So, Undall created Ryvona, a female deity of Sickness, Arachnids, and Poison. The reason that Undall created her, despite Naton being the god of death and destruction, was because Naton was too caring. So, Undall released Ryvona into the world, spreading illnesses and prevent overpopulation. This balance of death and life, destruction and creation, had sparked the creation of humanity's plague of jealousy and discord. And so, these events allowed the world to become what it is today, both a horror and a beauty. Now, our story will take the perspective of one of the newer sons of Ortos. This demigod's name is Nomos, Nomos Daesulus (DAY - SULL - US).
