Duel One: What is "Money" To A "Rich" Man
The time was Eight-Thirty Five. Thirty-Five Minutes after the welcoming ceremony to all the Ultimates attending The Ultimate academy, Hope's Peak Academy, Which makes you wonder, Why is a "Normal" Person like Makoto Naegi doing in a school like this. In fact, a lot of his fellow students at his old school (Domino high) thought the same thing when the lottery for class 78 was announced and his name was pulled. Really if anyone would have made it in it would be the "Great" Seto Kaiba, because he beat out the Ultimate Air in terms of wealth and status. But they would be wrong in that fact Because the "Great" Seto Kaiba showed up at the school a whole week before the new semester started and denied the school of his greatness.
But that is enough about him, Because he really could not care about Kaiba right now scene he was in the middle of class, even if it was unimportant to any of the other students in his class, something that tipped off his 'not so' intuitive mind, it was telling him to keep track of the people around him.
He felt a tap on his shoulder, he looked over to see the culprit in the form of a timid young "girl" sitting behind a computer that was placed firmly on "her" desk. "She" Pointed to the screen of "her" computer as "she" turned it to face him. And his face contorted in shock as he stood up, Which startled everyone in the class. Even the unflappable Ultimate Moral Compass, Taka.
"MAY I PLEASE BE EXCUSED!" shouted Makoto at the top of his lounge "IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT MY FAMILY IS IN TROUBLE!"
"Yha you can go." said their drunkard of a "Homeroom" teacher with a slight smile on his face, "I would be surprised if you didn't know already considering your ties to the company he works for."
"THANK YOU, SIR," said Makoto as he ran straight out the room with the speed that made both the Ultimate swimmer and Martial Artist proud.
With confusion laced in his movements Taka spoke, "What Happened?"
"Kaiba Corp. is being held, hostage." Said the Drunkard
"WHAT!" Shouted Byakuya, "IS SETO OK?"
"From what I have seen he is fine Byakuya-Sama," Said Chihiro, "In fact, he is on his way over to the main Kaiba Corp. Building right now, That is where Makoto-Sa-Kun is going."
"But what does that have to do with anything? It's not Like Naegi-San is Seto Kaiba." said The Ultimate Clairvoyant, Yasuhiro Hagakure
"His father is Seto-Kun's greatest adviser or THE most trusted man at the company." said Chihiro, "if he is in danger, it doesn't matter where any of the Kaiba's are, they WILL help him… no matter what"
"Which makes no sense, that man is no more than Gijin trash that doesn't deserve to be there." said Byakuya, "I should have bought out the company before that even happened."
"I hope Makoto is ok." whispered Sayaka which did not go unheard by a now smirking Junko Enoshima before said, "Already have a crush on the guy Sayaka?"
"Not the time for that Junko." said the Drunkard before he turned on the TV, which flickered to life at a view outside of the main Kaiba corp. Building with Seto Kaiba Standing outside the main building with another man behind him with Light green hair and Green Eyes. but the man in front of them was different and very clearly foreign, Likely American and Egyptian Descent with a wolf tattoo on his left hand. On his right arm though is what shocked the people in the room, A duel disk, but not just any duel disk, the duel disk 2.0 which was mainly used by the richer duelists.
"So you are the one that is interrupting my much-needed vacation," said Kaiba, "And it looks like you made your punishment a lot more difficult."
Kaiba then drew a black and blue Duel Disk 2.0 from his belt and swiped it onto his left arm with almost practiced ease and just as quickly activated its better form, Duel Disk 2.560, before putting on his Duel Visor and picking out 41 cards to put in his deck in almost a second before getting in duel stance and saying, "You come into my office and harm my most trusted partner in business and subsequently harm one of my most treasured friends… I WILL make you suffer!"
"Well I don't see you dueling young Kaiba!" said the man with the tattoo who activated his duel disk and drew five cards from his deck of 85 and drew a sixth to start his turn saying, ``I activate the spell card "the grass looks greener"!," he drew over 39 cards from his deck and put them into the graveyard before saying, "this card allows me to equalize the difference between our decks by sending the difference of cards from my deck and yours to the graveyard! But I am not done!" he drew one of the 39 cards from the graveyard and placed it into his middle monster zone. "I summon "King of the abominations" using its effect from the graveyard!"
The monster that was summoned looked to be a giant pile of sludge bones and fur with hundreds of eyeballs looking down upon Seto with hate and malice, it's master said, "I activate its second effect! Its effect allows it's attack points to increase by 1,000 for the amount of monsters with the same name in the graveyard, which is 37! Which means that it's Attack total is going to be 37,000!"
The monster grew in size until it was the size of the building itself and it let out a grating screech before looking down at Seto again with anger and rage prevalent in its eyes. His master spoke again, "The battle is already over! I end my turn!"

Seto smirked at the new information before wordlessly drawing a card with it disappearing into thin air and popping upon his heads-up display as a part of his hand. He smirked at the card, he spoke, "By revealing A Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand I am able to Summon the fantastic Alternative! BLUE-EYES ALTERNATIVE WHITE DRAGON!" As soon as the card left his hands the dragon popped out of the ground in full powered glory before coiling around it's the master in a protective stance ready to strike if need be. Its Eyes a beautiful blue which pierced through the giant before it… some viewers of the duel even saw it grin at the site as if knowing what its master was thinking. Seto spoke, "but that is not all, I activate the spell card polymerization from my hand in order to fuse my two Blue-Eyes from my hand in order to create the deadly TWIN BURST DRAGON!" as soon as he said those words a white dragon with Piercing Blue Eyes and two heads Fell from the sky and landed on the ground with enough force to unearth the ground below it and bring it around Kaiba's feet, He spoke again, "I activate the spell card "Kisara's Infinite Blessing", Which allows me to revive two or more Blue-Eyes from my graveyard at the cost of Half my Life Points!" suddenly two women appeared behind him and bowed before turning into towering dragons which retained her original blue eyes.
The other man laughed at this before saying, "WHY EVEN BOTHER! THE GAME IS ALREADY OVER, AND I AM THE VICTOR! IT IS USELESS TO EVEN STRUGGLE!"
"Do you really think I would do something that would be considered "Useless" unless I had a plan in mind for it?" Asked Seto, the smirk on Seto's face grew before leaning back into his alternative dragon's arms and sitting in its claws before continuing, "At the cost of my Alternative dragon not being able to attack you," his face was in a calm rage as he said his next sentence, "I destroy your monster."
Just as fast as it was summoned the monstrosity before Seto was destroyed with a simple ball of blue light coming out of Alternative dragon's mouth… leaving the man before them exposed to attacks.
"W-W-W-What the hell?" asked the man
"And the best part about this is simple… you can't revive it, because it banishes itself and every monster of the same name from the graveyard and the field… Which means my dragons CAN ATTACK YOU DIRECTLY!"
All three of the dragons let loose four blue beams of destruction that landed upon the man frying his life points in just one shot… Seto Kaiba had won the duel in just one series of consecutive attacks, Dealing 9,000 attack points in one turn. He turned to the man beside him and whispered something in his ear, which the man whispered back with a happy smile on his face before Seto left the man to address the cameraman about what happened.
Seto walked into a dark alley close to where his company was, he walked a little farther down while messing with his hair and removing his HUD from his right eye. When he was sure he was far enough away from any prying eyes of the press he started stripping his clothing down until he was stark naked, he grabbed a pair of clothes he laid out before he got there and put them on, they were a simple pair of black uniform pants and a white dress shirt, he also grabbed a hoodie he hung from a pole and put it on, it had a simple design, just green as the primary color with red along the back to form a smiling figure with one red eye, which was copied on the hood. He put on a black blazer over the hoodie and made sure to hide his duel disk within the confines of his clothes and ran back to the Kaiba corp. building while messing with his hair so he was not recognized by the public. Kaiba ran up to the man and gave him a big hug all the while shouting, "FATHER" with tears in his eyes.
This was how the public saw Makoto Naegi, AS Seto Kaiba, a mass millionaire with a wish to accelerate the development of the world far into the future. All the while Makoto acted like a normal boy with normal ambitions who just so happened to be lucky enough to gain a letter to hope's peak. Would he trade it for the world? Simply put, No. he loved his life even if it was complicated at times and even if he was a little too ruthless at moments… but he was thankful for it, and the changes a certain Pharaoh made back when he was a ruthless madman.
