It's another day in a snow summit where no one can see the legendary chase of Wile E. Coyote (Carnivorous Vulgaris) and the Roadrunner (Accelleratii Incredibus)
Due to Wiley's successful attempt to lure the Roadrunner into a different environment by switching the Desert Crossing and Snow Summit signs, he has a new plan to take advantage of the environment.
Although no one can blame him for quitting after so many failures, the damage to his pride is too much for him to ignore. His goal of eating is long gone, replaced by the desire to avenge his damaged pride.
After all, no one can catch the Roadrunner, unlike a genius like him.
Wiley has successfully captured Roadrunner three times: when he turned tiny, used a giant coyote robot, and ACME's Ultimate Trap. Yes, Roadrunner did escape in the end, but he still managed to catch that annoying bird!
Wiley looks at you with a sign, "I don't care! Let me have this!"
Now back to the main point. Wiley has ordered a few boxes, gift wrappers, giant super glue, and a Christmas tree from ACME for his latest plan. He planned to create a Christmas environment that will capture Roadrunner's attention. He will put super glue on the snowy floor to trap Roadrunner once and for all!
After choosing a spot beside the road, Wile E. has put down the Christmas tree and design from ACME's Christmas Tree Kit. He places empty gift boxes under the tree to attract the Roadrunner and puts superglue in the surrounding area of the tree. Wile E. patted himself in the back for his geniu-MEEP-MEEP!
Roadrunner is coming! He quickly finds a hiding spot and waits for the magic to happen.
Roadrunner continues to run with no worries about the world. She is simply content with running at high speeds, and the Snowy Summit is much nicer than the desert, but she still prefers the desert. The only reason why she stayed because she decided to go with the flow with whatever Wile E. was planning.
'Wile E. Coyote.' mused the Roadrunner. At first, she considered the coyote as her entertainer and food provider. He knew how to pick delicious birdseed, which is funny that he sometimes feed her instead of himself. However, imagine her surprise when Wile E. ended up becoming her crush as times go on.
Roadrunner thought that this silly crush will soon go away, but she ended up secretly falling in love with him because of his intelligence and perseverance. Plus! She always has fun running around when getting chased by Wiley.
The run will never be meaningful without Wile E. Coyote, and she hopes in her heart that the two of them can become so much more than predator and pre-hmm what's this? Roadrunner saw colorful lights in the distance and discovered a Christmas tree with presents beside the road. She runs towards the tree and stands beside it to investigate.
Gonna have to give credit to Wiley for this one. Are there traps inside of the presents? Is Wiley sending a peace sign? Roadrunner's smile got a little bigger at that thought.
'Wait a minute. Why can't I move?' Roadrunner immediately notices how sticky the ground is and realizes that it's all a distraction.
'It works? IT WORKS!' Wiley filled with excitement, immediately jumps out of his hiding spot and started dancing in victory, much to the amusement of Roadrunner. 'I knew my genius will prevail!' Wiley thought and started running towards the Roadrunner. However, he forgot about the ground covered with superglue.
Finally! The trap didn't backfire, and the world is on his side for once. It's over, you speed demon! Wiley running at the left side of the Roadrunner leaped at her with arms open. But, the Roadrunner leans backward and successfully avoided him. Both surprised at Roadrunner's success, Wiley immediately tries to turn around but realizes that he can't move his feet!
'No...' Wiley thought with dread. This seriously didn't just happen? He seriously didn't just screw himself over for overexcitement, right? Unfortunately, it did happen, and it brought him the time when he caught the Roadrunner with ACME's Ultimate Trap. Annoyed but undeterred, he turns around to grab the Roadrunner. But, she simply leans away from his arm.
"MEEP!" Wiley paused to look at her. Roadrunner is standing there but with a big smile and half-lidded eyes. Wiley stood there confused and slightly attracted to her eyelashes and beautiful smile. 'What are you thinking!? She's prey and nothing more!" Wiley hastily thought he then notices Roadrunner with a blush pointing the tree with her left-wing.
Wiley looks to his left and sees a mistletoe hanging on the Christmas tree. What?! There's no way Roadrunner will kiss him! A predator! But, looking at Roadrunner's smile.
'Is she in love with me? A coyote?' asked Wiley with a growing blush. Roadrunner knew that what she's doing is wrong, but this may be the only chance she has to be close with Wiley. She leans and immediately kisses his cheek. She backs away and taunts him with her tongue. Annoyed and flustered, Wiley tries to grab her but ended up failing because of her long neck and speed. Roadrunner quickly leans her neck and kisses him again and again and again and again. Wiley tries his best to grab her but Roadrunner is too fast.
'What is this feeling?! This is wrong! I'm a coyote, and she's a roadrunner.' Wiley desperately thought while trying to ignore the feeling of her lip-he mentally smacked himself and tries to calm his beating heart. Roadrunner felt like flying, she thanks the world for giving her this opportunity. Her second favorite part of this is seeing Wiley so flustered. However, Roadrunner knew that this will end. Her feet are almost unstuck from the superglue. Looking at Wiley with half-lidded eyes, she decided to give him a big kiss on the cheek and quickly move in front of him.
Wiley felt despair, especially in a rare moment like this where the trap actually works. But, her staring into his eyes with a blush on her cheek and a big smile on her beak.
"MEEP-MEEP!" Roadrunner jumps happily and immediately left. After being with her for many years, Wiley knew what her loving stare means.
Although Wiley is still stuck, he didn't care. He can feel his beating heart at her message, the Roadrunner who is still with him when even his fellow coyotes mocked him for his constant failures. He closed his eyes to realize how important she became for him for all these years of cat and mouse.
