"It's over, Mino! You're out of Hench!" said Ditt. After a long battle, Ditt and the other Mix Masters had defeated Mino, or so they thought. "But not out of tricks!" said Mino. Mino pressed a button on his glider, and a mechanical arm extends out, grabbing Penril. Ditt stepped forward. "Hey! You better-" Before he could finish that thought, Jin jumped ahead of him. "Let Penril go or I'll cream you!" he yelled. Mino was shocked by this sudden display of bravery, but simply laughed it off. Jin, unphased, summoned Skyblaze and sent it after Mino. Skyblaze covered Mino's face with flames, and while he was still recoiling in pain, Mino accidentally dropped Penril. Jin immediately ran forward and caught her. Mino slammed on the controls and began to fly back to Prince Brad's castle. "You may have won this time, but I will find the Master Hench!" Mino felt his charred face. "...After I find some ice for my face." he winced. Later, at Dr. Joeb's lab, the Mix Masters were all relaxing after the battle when Dr. Joeb popped out of a hole in the floor. "I've done it! My latest invention will find the Master Hench for sure!" said Dr. Joeb excitedly. Pachi chuckled. "Like the last 15 inventions that would also 'find the Master Hench for sure?'" said the blue Hench. "This time I'm sure of it!" said Dr. Joeb. "I just need someone to help test it.." Using the very scientific method of Eeny meeny miny moe, Dr. Joeb "volunteered" Cheek to help him out, much to his protest. Penril sighed. "I better go too to keep an eye on them." Pachi followed too just to see how big Joeb will mess up this time, leaving Ditt and Jin alone together. The two sat in silence for a while, before Ditt finally turned to Jin. "Hey Jin, there's been something bugging me ever since earlier." Jin cautiously turned to him, slightly afraid of what he might ask. "What happened back there with Penril?" asked Ditt. Jin blushed a little. "Is it a CRIME to be concerned for your friend?" Ditt slyly grinned. "Just friends?" Jin suddenly got more defensive. "W-what are you getting at?" "Weell.. It's just that whenever Penril's in trouble, you always swoop in to save her, and whenever we team up on something, you always go to Penril." said Ditt. Jin turned even more red. "T-there's nothing going on between me and Penril." Ditt laughed and poked Jin in the ribs. "There's nothing wrong with liking Penril, y'know." Jin turned away, and the two sat in silence for a while once again. After a long few minutes, Jin looked back at Ditt, then at his shoes. "Okay. I... like Penril." Ditt raised his fist in the air. "I KNEW it! What do you like about her?" Jin, whose face was completely red at this point, looks back at Ditt. "T-that's none of your business!" Ditt wrapped his arm around Jin. "C'mooon, you can tell me! We're... kinda friends!" Jin pulled Ditt's arm off his shoulder and finally relented. "Alright.. I-I like how she's strong, yet also soft, and how her hair glistens when she's in battle, and..." Jin trailed off and stared into space. "You two would be pretty cute together~" said Ditt, only half joking. Jin stared directly at Ditt. "If you tell Penril what I said, I'll-" Before Jin could finish, a large explosion rocked the building. Dr. Joeb, Cheek, Pachi and Penril stumbled out, coughing. "Woah! I must of forgotten to tighten bolt number 432.." said Dr. Joeb. "Y-yeah.. Bolt number 432.." said Cheek in a daze. "Y-yeah. Hey, what's with Jin's face? Did something happen while we were gone?" asked Penril. Ditt leaped forward. "Jin likes- OUGH!" Jin bonked Ditt on the head before he could finish. "Nothing much, Pen, just talking about stuff."
