Author's Note: Episode tag for 607 "Fear Knot". Inspired by conversations with my good friend and fellow Supercorp shipper CaiRa.

Kara eventually lets go of Alex only to immediately wrap her arms around J'onn, reveling in the warmth as he embraces her in return. Excited babble washes over her as she goes from J'onn to Brainy to Nia, hugging them all, vaguely noticing that Alex has introduced herself to Zor El and is now making sure he meets everyone else. Kara hugs Kelly as Alex's voice reaches her ears. "… and she built the tracking tech that let us find Kara and that yellow-sun bomb."

Kara's eyes snap up to where Alex stands a few feet away, introducing Zor El to Lena. Later, Kara will recognize the look on Alex's face and the tone of her voice as that of a proud older sibling, bragging about their younger sib. In the moment, though, Kara simply feels relieved and elated to see Lena. Then Alex's words sink in, and Kara feels a little stunned. It's not like Lena hasn't worked with Supergirl before, but this feels like a whole other level….

Belatedly, Kara realizes that, a) she's kind of stopped hugging Kelly, because b) she's kind of staring at Lena, and c) Lena's staring back at her. Before Kara can process much more than that, Kelly has let the hero go and gently nudged her towards the former CEO. For her part, Lena steps away from Alex and Kara's father; in a matter of moments, the two stand in front of one another.

It takes Kara a moment to find her voice. "You… you did all that, for me?"

"Well, Alex helped me build things, and Nia and Brainy-"

Kara cuts off Lena's self-deprecating ramble by simply wrapping her arms around the smaller woman and hugging her as tightly as the human can stand. Lena's voice quiets and her arms wrap around the hero in return. Kara turns her head so she can breathe in the scent of Lena's hair, feeling her heart lift as the other woman's face buries itself in the crook of Kara's neck. All the remaining tension drains out of Kara, and she finally allows herself to believe she is home.
