Well hello there fellow God Eaters players.

The name's Volatyle, this is my first GE fanfiction. Yes I wrote something up this forum before but I decided to abandon that account and make a fresh start with this new one. You'll find yourself cringed during the reading part of this story because of the OOC. But really, it was inevitable. Note that I made this out of my "disappoinment" of how my bois (and gurls) not getting happiness, though I suppose the world where they live isn't supposed to be a happy one. But I digress, this fic is just like other fics.

You're permitted to leave this if you're not pleased with how this goes, but I'd really love some support from you also critics are super welcome. Ah, also this fic is based on God Eater Burst, since I haven't played any other GE games, but I'll try to learn the lore more as I write.

Fenrir Far East Branch, one of the largest home for active God Eaters. Considered as one the frontlines regarding the position and role in Aragami slaying activities. Gods Eater are people who have the ability and capable to "eat" the gods. Gender, age, personality, weight, height, biography doesn't matter as long as they are confirmed to be the chosen ones. This one branch on the Far East or you can say Japan. Currently in a crisis state. What do you need the most to have a company running properly? Most of people would say employees that are worth the trust and faithful to the company as complex as possible, this couldn't be wrong for sure. But there's another one, the one thing that is really important for a company, that not even employees can fit the role was… The Boss. Yes, the head of the company, you can't live without having your head attached to your body, unless you're a cockroach, yet they're still going to die if they keep being headless for so long.

"And with that, Doctor Paylor Sakaki, is arranged to be the new Director of Fenrir Far East Branch." Said a busty raven haired woman who was holding a book, no one know what book was that and nobody seemed to care to know what that is either. When the information has told by her, the living beings in the room, The Entrance of The Den, clapped their hands synchronically. Like it was already planned by them despite this is the first time they heard this news. Even the man who was just sitting in the corner near the stairs and the janitor on the opposite side of him was clapping their hands as well. But the ones upstairs, the God Eaters. The true residents of The Den was having a really, really twisted expression while clapping their hands. Except for a certain jailbait Russian girl, an emo hoodie wearing guy, a protagonist, a woman with short hair with revealing cloth, and a boy who loves his sister and Bugarally so much.

As for the others' expressions, they're basically wearing the same facial expression on their own faces. A mixture of confusion and curiosity, that's probably how to describe their same expression while looking at the new appointed branch head of Far East Branch. Paylor Sakaki are not the one that made them have that expression on their faces, but it was the one who were standing behind him, looking at them who were clapping at Paylor. It was a girl, a little girl, gripping tightly on his coat while hiding most of her posture behind the now Director of the Far East Branch.

"Then, are there any other words from you Director Sakaki?" Added the busty woman who often called Miss Tsubaki, she appears not having any surprised expression like others at all. Sakaki nodded his head, his lips formed a smile yet his eyes never get opened, sad. He turned to the people in front of him.

"Thank you Miss Tsubaki… Apparently now I am going to be the new Director of this Fenrir Far East Branch. By the death of the previous Branch Director, Mr. Johannes von Schicksal, the higher ups pointed me to lead this branch in order to prevent it from falling apart and make this branch operate properly under formal orders once again. I was just a scientist, this whole thing is sure new to me so from now on, all your suggestions are open, that is for the sake of this branch as well." Sakaki said with a slight nod at the end, it was unknown to anyone in real life of how he, Old Man Sakaki, a character who always close their eyes aware of their surroundings and could see what was happening. Ignoring the logic Sakaki noticed the faces of crowds in front of him, everyone still has their face shaped in a weird way, and as soon as he realized something, he spoke.

"Oh yah, there's one more thing." Sakaki turned around and put his hand on the little girl's shoulder that has been hiding behind him and pulled her gently to show her full form to the curious souls that been craving for information of her from him "This is Shio, from now on she will join the Fenrir Far East Branch as a Gods Eater" He added, the little girl was wearing a well made dress that matches her skin tone with some beautiful green stitches that seemed well balanced to her petite figure.

While the people with confused expression had calmed down a bit by having the expression decreased to normal a little. The exception ones, the ones that know the identity of the little girl cringed. When Sakaki said that Shio was going to join the Far East Branch as a Gods Eater. When the emo hoodie guy opened his mouth to spoke something. An older guy.. man with red coat and messy brown hair interrupt him.

"Her? As Gods Eater? But Doc- I mean, Director, isn't she too young to be a Gods Eater? I know Aragamis out there has gotten decreased for some reason, but it's dangerous to send a girl this young to fight an Aragami, even an Ogretail!" The man who's named Tatsumi told the new Director his thought, only to receive a giggle from Sakaki.

"Ah.. Haha… hah… no" Sakaki smiled and it was unknown if everyone was imagining things or not but everybody there caught a glimpse of his eyelids opened in the slightest "There is one more thing for me to tell you guys, but… this girl right here-" he put his hand on Shio's white hair and took a deep breath then sighed itbout before continuing his sentence "-is an Aragami"

Flashback

In Aegis Island, the core of Ark Project which previously called Aegis Project. A project that bear the name of this island, it was said that when this project gets launched, humanity will no longer perish from threats and despair from Aragami. But, to their disbelief, this all was just a cover to wrap something even worse than Aragami. Ark Project, a project that will rely on the Devouring Apocalypse. And that will give the whole humanity that aren't included as the chosen ones a horrible experience of Armageddon. With Nova, a big-ass petrified Aragami that filled with solid craters around its body, began to show a weird response by having the holes around its body shining a bright white-yellowish light.

"Soma… " The voice sounded absurd, yet understood easily, echoes of the voice filled the whole Aegis Island "you… and your comrades, must go to the Ark.. Now.." for a brief moment, the whole 1st unit of Far East Branch members fell into a shock. The voice came from an Aragami despite the fact that there are two Aragamis laying on the ground, the sound came from the bigger one. Arda Nova. An Aragami that none other than the Director of Fenrir Far East Branch, and Soma Schicksal's father has created under a very classified secret.

"Director… A-are you?.." An unfinished line of question thrown by Sakuya, holding a disbelief tone of what she's thinking about the Director of Far East Branch that currently inside an Aragami.

"Heh… no need to worry about me… there was never a place for me, on that boat" He confessed, he could hear a faint "what" from the God Eaters that has defeated him but he decided to continue "After all… I have sacrificed this world in order to create a new one, I… I have no right to see the next world.." He choked on the last part, his voice still sounded human but the echoes made it sounds inhuman. He knew it. He already know about all of it from the really beginning. He knows how unfair it was to eliminate one hundred only to save one, but he never look anything on quantity, he looks at things through quality. And Soma, his son. His beloved son, must be saved from this cursed world no matter what, even if that means tainting his own hands with bloods that came from the same kind of him. He doesn't care, no, he doesn't want to care. What he cared about was how the next world will be created by those who have real talent and will bring peace in the next world, and his son, Soma. Gonna be one of them, that's the only profit he wanted to have.

"Now it's up to you… to finish it… heh… who could do a better job?.." this question was rhetorical but it hits somewhere in their heart. Soma, who's been staring at his father in silence and felt that question was directed to him finally spoke.

"Dad…"

It was at this moment, Johannes von Schicksal's human sense, heart, and mind tingling. After his wife's death after giving birth to his and her son, Johannes been weighed a real heavy guilt on his shoulders. Till the moment when his son never make any familial contact with him anymore. He felt the sadness, but he felt that he deserves it, there are no children ever wanted to be part of threat to humanity. And Johannes with his wife, Aisha purposely induced that into their own children. In result, it took Aisha's life, and it took Soma's love for his father. Until this moment. Inside the Aragami his body might already severed into pieces but his mind remained intact in the Aragami. He could hear, he heard it clearly, and at that moment, he felt warmth. The image of him, Aisha, and Soma laughing, smiling, and living happily as a family hit in. Something he never able to reach, which was the reason of why this all thing became his plan, to create new world, so that Soma, would never experience the same thing as he did.

"After all these years…" The God Aragami of Arda Nova, the bigger male one, shook a little. Like it was trying to move, but that wouldn't be easy, Arda Nova is a special Aragami the Director of Fenrir Far East Branch has built and work under the method of having one dominant Aragami of the two. The Goddess, was the dominant one "After all things I have done…." But the fact that the bigger, inhuman looking Aragami has moved got every other God Eaters tighten their grip on their own weapons "You finally… called me Dad…" the Aragami desperately raised its head to look at Soma.

The others were still in silent, they didn't know how to react, should they go against this to save the world, or stop this forever just because a single parent wanted his children to be happy with a new future without all this shit where living can be considered as postponing a really tragic death. They looked at Soma, who has his eyes on the huge Aragami. But deep down, they all know, all of them know. Soma won't be happy, not like this. Not through this method. The silent ruined by the lights coming from the petrified Nova getting brighter in each second. The whole Aegis Island shook, taking everyone's attention from the huge Aragami to the Nova.

The whole Aegis Island shook like it was hit by a big earthquake.

"Mom…. Nozomi…. I'm sorry I couldn't fulfill my promise" Kota's quote of demise already represent everyone's feelings. Despair. Know nothing to do anymore.

Nova began to rise, the higher it rises the bigger vibration on the island caused by it. Just when it was about to reach the top. It stops. No. It was stopped. Stopped by something that non-existent force to the humans' eyes. The lights from the holes around the body of Nova disappeared into nothingness. Making everyone there ended up with a shocked face planted as their expression.

After a brief moment of silence, Shio's body, turned black, pitch ink-like black. Like darker than black. Around her body appeared some tattoo like lines that colored in blue, but they were glowing bright.

"SHIO!" Soma yelled at the little girl that still had her back attached to the ground, showing no response.

"Thank you"

Nevermind. There was a response. But that didn't come from the little girl, yet the response has the little girl's voice. Right when this happen, the one hole, on Nova's forehead. Glowing light blue. The same color as the little girl's tattoo line.

"What?.." Sakuya said, whether she was confused or surprised, both of that possibility had made her spoke that without realizing it.

"I-is that you, Shio?..." Soma called out calmly toward the petrified Aragami, to clarify more, toward the blue glowing hole on Nova's forehead.

"Thank you.. Everyone" The little girl's voice could be heard again. Toshiyuki's hand gripped tighter on his weapon. As the new leader of this unit, he knew what she thanked about. He knows to where her gratitude was pointed toward. And he knew, this would be something that up to no good. Certainly, not good.

"Impossible… how could she retain her sense of humanity… after becoming Nova's Singularity?..." Yes Sakaki, nice question. This might could be an interesting thing to have your research on as a scientist right?.

While no one could answer Sasaki's question. Nova began to rise even higher.

"Shio.. What did you do?" Soma asked her again.

"Beyond… the sky" Shio said "That round thing…" everyone there realized that it's called Moon, and they might realized that this all was too late, and they knew that would be pointless as well. But. They never had teach Shio of what things of the surroundings called, even the Moon "Hehehe…. Since that one looks like a rice cake… looks more delicious" she added. Everyone already get this point this far, but Sakaki decided to point out the obvious, in order to confirm this too.

"Don't tell me… you're taking Nova with you… to the moon?!"

"Shio! She's still alive isn't she?!" Kota's question was not pointed toward anyone, at least not now "Sakaki!" Now it pointed to the Doctor, but called him by his name. Damn.

"I have no idea either…. Just… how's that possible?" As a scientist, this was surely a confusing event to occur. No one blamed him for keep questioning it.

"I understand…" Shio's voice echoed again "For the first time…. I understand." The string between Shio's body and Nova was holding it from rising higher "What a true human being really is."

"Shio.." Sakuya called her, just to receive no response to her call. But it was clear for anyone's ears that she was sobbing when she called her.

"The act of eating." The God Aragami, with Johannes body inside looked at Nova. With either disbelief and amazement. He has no clue what is happening but.. This. His plan. He could feel that his plan fell apart from this point. Yet, he feel no grudge was held in him. And he didn't know why.

"The act… of living for someone. The act… of dying for someone. The act… of forgiving someone" Shio was holding her will to say good bye, all these oration was to make time, to prevent her from saying good bye "You see.. No matter how those all shaped.. Each one of you is connected to someone else"

"Damn, this is not good…." Toshiyuki said in his mind, despite having only one eye revealed on his face, he could feel his eyepatch getting wet from tears.

"What are you talking about. Come back here!" Kota was on the same state as Toshiyuki, but he was refusing to accept all this.

"I… I want to be with all of you too…" Shio confessed. This led Sakuya to burst more tears from her eyes and had Alisa fell onto her knees, obviously cried.

"T-then… come back here Goddammit!" Soma lashed out, he knew that was not supposed to said but he couldn't hold it anymore. Toshiyuki and Kota turned to him. And surprised by the fact that Soma, that cool lookin' guy with cool ass sword and bad boy attitude was almost having a breakdown.

Johannes, he heard this. He heard his son's demand. Then, he forcefully tried to rise up, but one was paying attention to him. While currently being in the form of Aragami, Arda Nova. Once the Goddess was beaten, then that means both The God and Goddess will be down. But this all, was Johannes von Schicksal pure will. To move his new body. To look at his son, tearing up for the former Singularity. From here, he realized his mistake. All shit he has done in order to create utopia where his son can be happy forever was useless. He just now realized, he just took his son's last happiness.

"Soma… are you crying?" Shio's voice echoes gotten somewhat rougher "But why?" it was all explained when she said the second question. Inside Nova, Shio's conscience, Shio's humanity sense. Was crying as well. Seeing Soma crying, who wouldn't cry tbh.

"You have to get back here.." Soma turned his face to the ground his hands were no longer holding his blade, but they were gripping so tight… So tight that both of his hands were shaking "Get back here Shio!" Soma shouted, turned toward Nova's part that were holding Shio's conscience. His eyes now full of tears, he finally broke. He said it, he didn't care about his pride anymore. All he wanted was he could hold Shio and never let her go ever again.

"I would like to!" Shio responded "But I can't! And… I can't let you all… " Shio's cute sobbing cut her off "… for me.."

Everyone know what she means, but neither Sakuya, Alisa, Kota, Toshiyuki, and Soma wanted the same thing happen to her either. When everybody there were busy with their own selfishness to get Shio back and prevent the world getting wiped out by the Devouring Apocalypse. Sakaki, the only one with no expression realized a movement by the corner of his eyes. The God, no, Johanness, was moving toward Nova.

"Johanness! What are you doing?!" Sakaki asked out loud, making everyone's attentions poured toward the big Aragami that began to levitate staggeredly straight towards the even bigger Aragami.

"Dad… stay away from her…" Soma spoke.. Wiping his tears off "Stay away from Shio" He took his blade one more time.

"No need to worry. Soma" Johanness said nonchalantly "I, von Schicksal, will end it all" He added as he floated right in front of the glowing blue hole on Nova's forehead.

The God Eaters were taken aback, misinterpret Johannes meaning by letting Shio go or make her lose the conscience so that the Devouring Apocalypse could occur. Everyone there, pointed their weapon to Johanness with the purpose of protecting Shio. But neither of their assumption were right.

"If there's any happiness could occur for Soma… this… could be the way.. Right Aisha?..." Johannes said in his mind with a big pause to the last part. When he stared up to the hole, he muttered something that no one but Shio could hear.

"Please, look after my son"

The God's circle hole part began to glow white lights and the voice of Johannes groaning in agony inside the big Aragami could be heard by everyone there.

"Stop it!" The 1st unit said in unison as Toshiyuki and Soma charged by jumping at Johannes while Sakuya, Alisa, and Kota launched their bullets to him in attempt to bring the Aragami down.

But. Before all their attack could land on him, the white light from The God Aragami glowed even brighter, just as bright as a flashbang. The light stunned everyone down. The light was blinding everyone's visions.

The light was blinding everyone's visions. They all including Sakaki staggered to stand on their feet because of the sudden shock from The God Aragami. The mixture of emotion and hope arguing each other inside the minds of God Eaters. They were questioning if their attack land a hit on the Director or did they failed to put him down. All these questions were all useless because in the end they all hoped for the same thing. They hoped Shio was okay.

When they began to regain their eyesight. They used all their effort to look at the big Nova. While their eyes weren't fully recovered to see something. They already can tell that the big Aragami that were floating right in front of Nova's forehead has disappeared. But when they about to get relaxed by that. They got hit by another shock. The blue light that used to glow from Nova's forehead has gone as well. Here, despair came back to them. Did they lost? Did they failed?.

They used the last portion of hope in their heart to take a look lower, at Shio's body. And there, surprise came to them too sudden. But they did not mind it. Shio's body. Has regained its original color, white albino-ish color, just as well as her hair color. The surprise did not stop there. The God Aragami, Johannes von Schicksal. Was laying on the ground, right next to the Aragami girl. They did not know what was that supposed to mean. But they don't care. The God Eaters ran to Shiowho just currently regained her color, leaving their God Arcs behind. Soma held her close yet gently by her head while the others surrounded her with careful manners.

"Shio?!, Shio!" Soma called her. But he got no response from her. The other tried to call her as well but receive the same result. At this point Sakaki give no damn to science anymore. God does exist and miracle does exist. His confusion's scale is really big right now, probably bigger than two Ouroboroses standing up making a tower.

"She's alright Soma" A faint voice that sounded to belong to Johannes said, Soma and the others quickly turned to the God Aragami that laying on the ground. They felt weird, his voice sounded louder and has more echoes than before.

While all the God Eaters staring down at The God Aragami. Sakaki's eyes. Opened widely, his jaw fell open and it was shaking. Too many things that made him shocked in disbelief today, and probably this is the biggest one.

"J-Johannes… is that you?" Sakaki stuttered as he spoke. The others turned to him. Sakaki was staring up in shock, looking upward, looking at Nova that was right on top of their heads.

When everyone turned around. They could see the reason why Sakaki so shocked. The Nova, the hole that previously glowing blue now glowing in another color. Pinkish White. The same color as Arda Nova's main color.

"But h-how?"

"I extracted a few percent of that girl's core, The Singularity into Aragami The Arda Nova. By using a small amount of that girl's core, I can take control of the Arda Nova, from the inside" Johannes said, from the inside of Nova "Arda Nova was built by me, I never had any intention to join other people on the Ark… Besides.. I will never be able to stop you all by myself. I need Arda Nova to do that. By replacing Arda Nova's original core with my own body and having the girl's core to control the conflicting Bias Factor of their own and mine. I can finally let myself control this Aragami." Johannes answered. The God Eaters were shocked as well. They just witnessed Shio in that thing, now the Director and Shio has switched place.

"You mean.. You swapped the Singularity from Shio with yours and forcefully pushed her back into the vessel? So the amount or scale of Singularity doesn't matter as long as it has The Singularity inside its body?"

"No" A sudden response from Johannes made Sakaki stepped back a bit "It does matter, the reason why that girl did not prey on human was because The Singularity itself. Her core is a unique one, similar to humans' intelligence and feelings. The Singularity let conscience of human, the human sense to have control." Sakaki just stood there, probably trying to process that out "But, The Singularity acts as timer, the more amount you have of it, the longer your conscience can control yourself before Aragami sense taking over.. I can feel my human side is conflicting with Nova's desire to devour the world… I would say this feel rather unpleasant.. " Nova started to rise even higher but slowly "That's why… I must go now.." Nova slowly destroyed the surroundings on the top of Aegis Island because of its size "Before the Devouring Apocalypse occur here" Johannes said in bravery. Just when he was about to rise higher, something stopped him.

"What?..." Johannes thought, confused of what happened. But he realized something, there was a line of root like thing connected Nova and Shio "S-she, she's holding me down" Johannes muttered "Soma, cut the root off!" Soma turned to Nova, his dad, Johannes, and looked at him in worried expression, something he never expected to show to his father.

"But.. are you going to take yourself too? To the moon?!" Soma asked him with the same expression Sakaki used when he asked the very same question to Shio.

"Yes, if I don't do it now, all of you will die! Including that girl!" When Johannes said that Soma turned to Shio and looked down at her "The Singularity, no, Shio, is going to be okay from now. She will be able to live again, just like before… just like what you've been wanted"

Soma looked up at Johannes again with expression no one can tell what that means.

"Then, what will happen to you?."

It might be abstract or even nonexistent but it was there. Hearing the question thrown from his son, Johannes smiled.

"Your mother and I, we will watch you from the top, watching you being happy, together with the happiness you've always been wanted." Enough said, Johannes said this without any stuttering or any hint of emotion. But Soma understand.

"Man up, and save the world, Soma"

Soma didn't know what happened, his chest felt so full both with delight and sorrow, he didn't know what was that supposed to mean.. But he can do nothing except smiling ever so slightest at his father's request. and then he started to get up on his feet and held his blade with his hands.

"Thank you, Dad"

With that, he cut off everything related to the Armageddon who were happily to retreat from the earth. Leaving new bonds that has destroyed to get fixed and leaving new bonds that were never exist tol stick up forever.

Nova, has ascended. High to the sky, beyond the atmosphere of Earth. With Johannes' soul aka his own Singularity being shared to Nova. Johannes regretted nothing. After realizing his mistake, he can finally do what can actually make Soma happy. Ever since his wife told him and Sakaki about injecting Bias Factor to the fetus inside her womb. Johannes cannot think straight anymore. He's been wanting to have a child for a long time, having a happy life with Aisha with her carrying a healthy baby by having Sakaki on the back as an uncle of their baby. He has been telling Sakaki about him being too much affected by his own desire in his romantic hopes of co-existing with Aragamis.

Johannes himself was not much different than him. But, his were more humanely. All he wanted to do was living a happy life, whether it was in this cursed world filled with threat everywhere or a world where none of these ever existing at all. If he had the chance to pick, he'd rather choose the second choice. But no, he can't. He cannot run away from his own and his comrades' own mistakes. They were the one who made this all happen in the first place. Him, his wife, and his friend Sakaki has sent humanity into a dark chaos where living could be considered as dead. What can he do? No one ever expected this kind of thing would happen, neither did Sakaki. But none of them ever expected to have their child to be the one who perish so much in this apocalypse.

But that doesn't matter anymore.

Here he is now.

In the void where his surroundings are stars and floating minerals. Johannes von Schicksal, has decided to take this all into account of making his son happy. Let alone die in the process, he doesn't give a damn about his life from the very beginning. After thinking about the best way to save humankind, in the end, he's also a human, source of selfishness and bunch of mistakes. If he's asked to choose between humanity and his son. The answer already confirmed by his action right now. For his son's happiness, he'll try this one time. To do what he never expected to do, but certainly will make him happy. Will certainly bring smile into that child of his' face.

The "roots" of Nova has cut from the Nova. They have fallen to the ocean around the Aegis Island. With the "roots" Johannes brought with him in Nova he used his leftover conscience to use them as tentacles and wrap them around the moon. Though failed to fully wrap it, it finally done. The Devouring has begun. Nova shone a bright white light, the same color as moon's but it actually shone itself. The light wasn't coming from the reflection of the sun's. But from Nova's.

"Heh… Aisha, look at what have I done. Selfishly making the choice for our son, ignoring humanity completely" Johannes' voice echoed in the void of his own thought "But, this must be the rightest thing I could ever do for him. Right? Aisha?"

Nova slowly took the shape of the moon and flatten itself to adapt to the moon's round shape. Covering lots of craters on the moon in the process. It doesn't devour anything but nothingness.

This concludes the long journey of Johannes von Schicksal.

Meanwhile

"Shio?" Soma called the female Aragami under his breath. Nova's Devouring Apocalypse that occur on the moon has somehow created a glowing white-ish snowfall. Making everyone's breathing activity visible by steams.

The Aragami girl has regained her original color, a snow white color. Pure white, no more blue lines of Singularity. The 1st Unit surrounded the little girl. She slowly opened her eyes, only to meet other pairs of eyes looking at her.

"S-Soma?" Shio responded weakly.

That was enough, that's enough for him. She can reply his call. His father was being honest. He has sacrificed his own life, for his happiness. He don't know it he can ever pay off whatever he had done to him. That man ain't no saint. Nor his deeds can make him called sinner either. All he did was all for the sake of humanity. And he threw that away, for the sake of his only son. The son who never appreciate his father.

Soma embraced Shio into a tight hug, so tight that he might won't let her go. It was mixture of sadness and happiness. Sadness of regrets for his father, and happiness for regaining the one who could understand him more than anyone else. If you ask him, he'll answer that it was purely based on selfishness. But, wasn't that the point of being human?.

Appearance : Has short black hair and has a purple eyepatch covering his right eye, wearing black and white Fenrir uniform (Battle Top : Black, Formal Bottom : White).

Personality : He acts a good leader when it comes to missions and battles, but he tend to be overprotective over his comrades. Apparently traumatized after witnessing Eric der Vogelweid's death and Lindow Amamiya's MIA 'death'. Is a fun guy to hang out around, basically loves to have fun and sometime found slacking off on duty with Kota. The two shares almost-alike happy go lucky persona. Can be serious when the time comes.

Extra : Despite wearing an eyepatch, people often mistook him for being gloomy and edgy while he's basically Kota v2 with slight improvement or some decrement on certain regards. The reason he wears eyepatch also pretty unnecessary.

Extra : Relaying more on sword fighting than gun shooting because he's not that good on creating custom bullets, it makes him feel low when he uses his gun and his bullets just looks so mediocre. When he goes burst, he often retrieve all his Aragami Bullets or doing Level 3 Link Burst to Kota, if he's not reachable, he'll go to another gun user (Sakuya, Alisa, Gina, Karel, Kanon, etc) but just up to Level 2, he's not a bad shooter but his inferiority complex always hit in everytime he sees other shooters' bullets flying with fancy colors and designs. Low Survivability because he's often late to use his shield because enjoying himself too much in slashing enemies. Deal lots of damage, probably one of the highest damage (obviously below those who often use charge crush on enemies) because of his fast and repeated attack pattern since he relies on attack speed more than the attack damage.
