AN: Sorry about the NTR shit last time, though hope you wouldn't mind something wholesome this time around. I was really meaning to write this idea for awhile now.
Sweeping high crossing-wind, sat at the top was a figure of lone. Having a laid-back hair yet the against the sunny breeze reveals its almond shaped eyes, had its focus observing the high rise of buildings and structures. Cross-legged at a high vantage point, earning the attention of a certain half-elf.
"What are you doing up there?" Ringed was a voice with a soft tone of concern, knocking the man on top of a pillar out of his zoned-out state. Now directing his attention to the woman below as he stood up.
"I'm just admiring the view, wanna see it with me over here?" Doing stretches as he patted down his butler uniform out of any dust that remained.
"Refused, get down here before you hurt yourself, you oaf!" Creases that formed a pout, scolding the man for its foolishness whilst posing with both of her hands in its waist.
"Oaf, huh? No one says that anymore, my cute Emilia-tan." Smirked as putting his fingers on the chin making the elf fume in embarrassment.
"You're teasing me again, aren't you?!" Blush that was plastered on her face. He saw this as now started laughing even more angering the maiden, banging her fists against his chest but endured it just to see the cute face of hers that was flustered.
Composing herself as she somehow tired herself out, while the man was still chuckling. "Subaru, we still have a date to do so, right?" adding a 'hmph' at end as she sees him putting his palms over its head. "We can't get on with it if you're just bumming up there."
"Ah, right. Sorry about that." Subaru apologized as he jumped down and made a pose to let her go first down the stairs, leading for them to now start walking back to the middle of the capital.
"You know, I would rather hear a thank you instead of a sorry from someone." She responded while they walked, underneath the trees and pavement, seeing as the high sun above casting its lasting shadows.
"Hmm… Of course, I would like thank my Emilia-tan for being like a mother to me!" He shouted as if he was proud of it, doing his signature pose in doing so, as the bystanders could only look in concern and worry but moved along as usual after a few moments.
"Dummy." Emilia sighed at his antics yet couldn't stop herself from smiling as this was the very reason why she liked about him, "Though, I don't mind being a mother of our children instead…" She mumbled, quiet enough for him not to hear.
"What was that? I didn't quite hear." Genuinely confused, seeing her mumble then all of a sudden was blushing mad, seeing the redden face even more made him smile.
"Uhm! That was nothing!" Emilia stammered as she blurted out a response in panic. Subaru in suspicion but didn't push further as he just shrugged it off.
Lively were their surroundings, bunch was families strolling around but seeing that they just walked for awhile, Subaru and Emilia sat down at the fountain side. Taking their eyes to look around at just about what may stories be told; an odd conversation was then heard caught both attentions.
"Stopppp, that meat was supposed to be mine not yours!" Appeared a young man, having an emerald color for its eyes as the hue of oak seen to be rapidly eating a meal like some sort of a glutton while getting scolded a familiar look that coincide with him as a sibling.
"Finder'ssh kheepers" Said with a mouthful not even minding etiquettes when it comes to eating, though that really made the other mad as he slapped the glutton that sounded loud enough for the couple to hear.
"What do you mean, 'Finder's Keepers'?!" Grabbed him by the clothe of his, angered while the other was not minding it as just kept on chewing. Frenzied as both in a state of deadlock until it was ceased hearing the grumble of the third person that was on the same table as them.
Shine of blonde, was her long hair that almost reached the ground was silently nibbling at its own plate. "Can we atleast have a proper meal-out for once please?" Scoffed as she still continued eating, while its glistering eyes akin of emerald occur to narrow as she stared at the two siblings of hers.
Though she may look like the differing out of them due to her color of hair being different with gold hue instead of beige, doubt as may it seem will clear by seeing just their eyes and supposed sharp teeth. Having silenced the two of them as they sat down as the gluttoned one gave back some parts that was still not eaten by him to the other.
"Hmph" Glowered did the blonde child as they kept on eating with now a moment tranquility of chewing, the couple though on the other hand saw everything and chuckled as they now prepared to stand up and continue their walk.
"That was something, I guess." Subaru chuckled as he feels warmth on his left hand seemingly covered by hers interlocking fingers, Emilia shyly grabbed on as right now both have a scarlet tinge on their faces.
"Now that I remember, should we buy some appas on the way back?" He suggested, slightly shifting their direction, looking at the silver-haired woman if she wanted to come on the idea of bringing souvenir for the people waiting back at the inn. "It's a good timing now that we're nearing to the one and only trusted seller of quality with appas." Subaru smugly and apparently loud to declare then receiving a nod by Emilia aware of it just another one of his antics.
"You flatter me too much kid, also we don't just exclusively sell appas here, you know?" Groaned out a complaint yet a banter of good-will was witnessed, "Alright, how many do want?" The green-haired stall owner asked, waiting an answer from the nasty-eyed butler.
"We'll grab these then, pops." Subaru pointed some good-looking apples, as expected from a keen eye. Namely called as Kadomon was putting the picked fruits in a bag, in this very moment did a familiar child popped out behind him. Subaru seeing this and couldn't help but interact "Oh! Plum, how are you doing these times." The child neared him, Subaru giving a headpat in the process.
"Subaru and onee-san! Uhm, well I was just looking for something to color with for my drawing!" Plum, the daughter of the so-called appaman by a certain someone was fumbling around trying to find something to use, Kadomon finally gave her some as she said her goodbyes to the three of them, "I'll see you later!".
"Seems like she's just doing fine." Emilia seeing everything, making the other two that could only agree.
"They grow up so fast." Snuffling as he teared up being a parent that sees growth of their child, the stall owner then took a look at the two, "Well that does make me wonder when I'll be seeing yours." Kadomon knocked a joke at the couple, laughing when he saw their flustered faces.
"Wha-what are you talking about?!" Both shouted at the same time, even earning a much louder laugh from the appa-seller making some onlookers could only look as they thought about such youth emanating from the half-elf and the almond-eyed knight.
Skedaddling away from the stall, in hands of the butler was the bought fruits, of course. Kadomon looked at the figure of both until they were out of sight with the crowds. Smiled at what became to be of his day just seeing those two.
It was a good day, peculiar yet unseen of such fact.
End Note: Seems like the gluttony siblings were having such a time there, a good thing the youngest was able to control both of them. I'll see you at the next cursed shit or surprisingly a normal one that I'll manage to come up with.
