Hiya dear readers! Your dear Cheenu is back with another fic, but this time, a complete 'Not Tyhil'. Yup! This is my first try at being away from writing a single Tyhil scene in a story. Even ACHSK is a KaiHilTy, so yes; you can say that I have zero experience in the following content.
I solemnly declare that this two-shot is heartily dedicated to our one and only- 'Golden glow of amber'. Dear Ellie, this fic is not even the dust of your feet. The way you depict our Kaihil and RaySal, I can never think of writing them the way you do. Your medieval fantasies are another thing which makes me infatuated with your works so much. Though our choices repel a lot, you have been one of my dearest sis. Talking to you always gets my heart light, love ya sis!
So, check on the details first.
Rating: T+
Pairings: Kaihil, TyDash, RaySal
Setting: Medieval Warnings: Character Death, Violence, killing of a wild animal, very slight sexual content
Inspired by: Evermore by Golden glow of amber and Droplets of blue rain
Note: This author is a complete amateur in writing for the pairings which would be included here. It is my first try at literal Kaihil, TyDash and RaySal. I'd inform everyone in advance, that if any scene seems to hurt you in any way, it would be completely unintentional. I have tried my best to portray every pairing in their own unique way :P
Disclaimer: I don't own Beyblade, but the plot is mine. The OC Dash/Kiako Iwata who is to be paired with Tyson is also mine. The cover image, depicting Hilary in a medieval outfit, adorned by orange flowers is drawn by me, as a birthday gift for our Ellie.
So, sit back and enjoy this special gift for our dear Ellie, which depicts a story of our Divine Kaihil, with some forbidden love of RaySal, and a completely naïve and innocent yet fierce TyDash.
(Part 1/2)
~Heartily dedicated to our Golden glow of amber~
All the beautiful flowers faded away, green grass felt envy, Sakura trees felt degraded, the whole garden of the royal palace seemed to be jealous. Why? The reason of their envy was happily dancing, running here and there in the garden. Lotus-smooth bare feet danced on the dew drops collected on the lush green grass. Fair skin glowed under the shining sun. Lush honeyed chocolate brown locks flung open, the front bangs perfectly splaying on the forehead. Clad in a royal red colored Kimono, with white lilies imprinted on it, fixated with a bright yellow Obi, the seventeen year old danced happily.
Bracelets made of orange Gerbera Daisies were bound around her slim wrists and ankles. A tiara of orange Dahlias was decorating her head. The ears were possessing two pearl earrings. The flowers' fragrance covered her with an unknown bliss, making her even more elegant than she actually was. Her rosy lips were coated with a beetroot honey mixture, making them stand out on her soft skin. A little Kohl under her glimmering Ruby orbs was what made them look even shinier. A beauty of nature she seemed, occupied with the elegance of nature.
Just as she was happily dancing, memorizing the steps properly, her Ruby orbs caught a glimpse of a white pigeon flying towards her. A huge smile spread over her face as she recognized the pigeon to be a messenger.
Leaping a little, she caught the white pigeon in her hands, taking a letter out from a small match box tied loosely but securely around the bird's neck. Giggling in amusement, she unfolded the yellow paper, as her Ruby eyes read each and every line carefully,
Your Majesty,
Dear Hilary Tachibana Masefield,
The Emperor's beloved cousin,
Today, I write my views to you.
It's been a while since I wrote to you, was a little busy with training and all, that's why. So, how have you been? Fine, I hope. In your previous letter, you had asked about my favorite flowers, isn't it? Well, I am not much of a flower person, neither do I know a thing about them, but still, orange flowers attract me a lot. What about you?
So, you had wanted to meet me? I'm sorry but I don't think you'd like my company. I don't talk much, am non social, and actually a little cold. Anyways, are you celebrating the Maidens' festival? If it is so, then might be that we would get a chance to meet there?
Waiting for your reply,
Yours truthful,
The commander-in-chief of the royal army of Masefield empire,
Hiwatari Kai.
Hilary couldn't help but let out an excited squeal. Her Ruby orbs twinkled in amusement and joy on reading his letter. Giggling to herself, Hilary held the letter close to her heart, closing her eyes and embracing it softly.
"Princess Hilary!" Called the maid from the door of the royal palace's garden, waving at her, "It's about time you start getting ready for tonight's festival!"
Hilary sighed tiredly, feeling the giddiness in her stomach fade away as the maid had interrupted her fantasies for tonight, as she was hugging the letter. Grunting like a child, she stomped out of the garden and went straight to her room.
The first and only thing on her mind when she entered her room was, to lock the door properly, and then write the answer to the letter right back then. She sat on her round bed, taking a wooden board and keeping it on her lap, along with the writing material placed on it.
Dipping the tip of the fluffy pink feather inside the inkpot, Hilary wrote on a fresh yellow paper,
Dear Kai,
I don't get what's up with your writing style. I mean what's the use of writing the top and bottom section in every letter, as if it's the first time you're writing me? You can simply write 'Dear Hilary', which would seem a lot better than this to me. Never mind, I am fine here, what about you?
So, you like orange flowers?! Same pinch! Me too! I always wear bracelets and garlands made up of orange Dahlias and Daisies. Guess our choices match a lot. And why wouldn't I enjoy your company? Come on, we are writing to each other since two years, I actually want to meet you. You might be quiet, but I talk well enough as to not get us bored! No matter what, I'd never hate being with you.
And yes! I am celebrating the maidens' festival, who doesn't? Waiting to meet you tonight at the festival,
Yours truly,
Hilary Tachibana Masefield.
Finishing with writing the letter, Hilary smiled to herself in contentment as she readied the letter to be sent to him right away by her own white pigeon.
"I am so waiting for tonight now," A tint of pink spread over her cheeks as she felt the giddiness and flying butterflies in her stomach once again, "Just wait, Kai, We'd be meeting soon!"
…
'Stay composed. Be calm. Don't make any noise. That's how you would be able to get what you need. And what I need today is right in front of me.' The thoughts of the eighteen year old drifted. 'Just a little focus, Wild pigs are quite violent, thus, shooting one while its running is not easy. But…' A smirk showed up on his tanned skin, '…But for a moment, did I forget who I am? Everyone knows that my Katana never fails in cutting through my enemy, and my arrows from my precious quiver never fail in penetrating the heart of my enemy.'
In the dense forest located in the outskirts of the Masefield Empire, the teenager was seated on a high tree branch, bow and arrow ready as he aimed at a wild pig a little away on the ground, who was sharpening his tusks against another tree.
'No need of sharpening your tusks, you're going to die after all.' Aiming at the wild pig, he closed one of his mischievous deep Auburn orbs, as his toned biceps and triceps contracted. The white Kimono top with sleeves folded till his shoulders, showed off his well built chest and collar bones through the cut between its folds. The dark blue Hakama was accompanied by a silver Katana holder, while the leather quiver was tied on his back.
Aiming at the wild pig, who had just sensed the presence of his predator and started to run but before he could get two meters away from his initial spot, the arrow escaped from the silver bow and the next thing was the carcass of the black animal. The guy chuckled slowly, admiring himself for another of his great victory at shooting a wild running animal.
"I know that I am cool," Just as he was about to complete his self-praising, his eyes caught a glimpse of the pig again as now the Auburns widened in shock.
'The arrow…' He thought, 'The arrow which just shot the pig dead isn't mine… The arrows from my quiver always have a dark blue feather at the end, but this one has a… light blue feather?'
Just then realization hit him. His arrow was shot at the right time and pace, it would have surely hit the animal, but just as it was a feet away from the pig, another arrow, the light blue feather one, had interrupted from the adjacent direction and first tackled with his arrow, then shot the pig, gaining speed and direction from his arrow.
'Clever,' For the first time, he admired the one who excelled him, 'As clever as a fox.'
Just as he was scowling in anger, the actual predator who killed the pig came down from another tree. "I told ya," It was a female voice, talking to none other than the dead pig, "No need of sharpening your tusks, you're going to die after all."
Tyson's eyes widened in shock, he knew this voice!
Just as he realized who this person was, a seventeen year old girl came near the carcass, smiling proudly at her triumph. Tyson narrowed his eyes in order to examine the intruder. Oceanic sky blue knee length hair carelessly unbound as they splayed upon her back, swaying with the breezes. Front bangs stopping a little above her eyes, while the shoulder length side bangs tucked behind her ear. The white Kimono top, perfectly showing her hour glass figure, and the light blue Hakama stopping above her bare feet, with a Katana holder tied on her back, a leather quiver tied around her thigh with the bow in her hand.
Her fair skin glowed in the sunlight, while her deep Lavender orbs, decorated with smudged Kohl under her eyes made her already long eyelashes even more elegant, adding charm to her face. Tyson blinked his eyes in amazement. It's his best friend, Dash Iwata.
Jumping down the tree, Tyson approached the girl from behind. Deciphering that she didn't realize his presence, Tyson yelled on top of his lungs, standing just behind her, "KIAAAA!"
The girl, four inches shorter than him, jumped in shock and turned around with unstable breath. Her frightened expression changed into one of anger as she saw her best friend clutching his stomach out of pain of laughing.
"Tyson?!" Dash scowled, "What was that for?!"
"For killing my prey!" Tyson yelled back, still laughing madly. "Just stop laughing, baka!" Dash punched his head playfully as he rubbed his head sheepishly.
"Wait a sec," Tyson looked at Dash suspiciously, "What are you doing here?"
"I was following you," Dash scowled sarcastically staring at him, "I saw you sneak out the castle, so thought to see what you're up to."
Tyson let out a defeated sigh, he need to do something in order to stop her from following him. It wasn't the first time Dash had done this childish act after all. Dash went up to the carcass of the pig and pulled her arrow out of it, giving a pitiful sorry look to the animal.
"Why were you here to kill this animal?" Dash asked nonchalantly, fiddling with the used arrow.
"This wild pig often gets out in the market and attacks people. The minister asked me to kill it right away so it could not cause harm anymore." Tyson said shrugging. His Auburns surveyed the blunette from head to toe, while his brain tried to meddle with a certain thought he wanted to tell her.
Tyson took a step forward to approach Dash, trying to be as casual as possible while talking to her, "So, you're celebrating the Maidens' festival?"
Chuckling slowly, Dash answered, "No, I am not. All these things seem a little too weird in my eyes." She looked at Tyson, who was staring at her already with surprise, "You don't celebrate it? I guess this is weirder. I mean who doesn't celebrate it?" Tyson asked, not able to believe the fact.
"I just don't understand these rituals," Dash said looking at her toes, "I mean what is the use of worshiping the goddess for just once, that too for getting an ideal life partner? If the goddess thinks you actually deserve it, she might gift it to you. What is the use of all this show off?" Kicking a stone, Dash looked up again as Tyson spoke up,
"But it's a nice chance for grooming," He said shrugging, "Girls love getting excuses to get ready and all."
Dash chuckled slowly, "Might be, but not me."
"You should give it a try, Kia," Tyson said patting her shoulder, "It would be good for you to just stop being a warrior for a day and groom yourself up."
"You think so?" Dash asked thinking deeply with her brows vexed, as Tyson shrugged in response.
"By the way…" Tyson said facing Dash as she looked at him, Auburns and Lavenders locking with each other, "I have something for ya."
"Really?" Dash asked, not able to believe, thinking that he was joking for a moment.
"Close your eyes," Auburns deeply staring in Lavenders, Tyson commanded as Dash followed. Sitting down on one knee, Tyson slipped his hand in the pocket of his Hakama, pulling out a shiny silver object.
"I'm watching you, Kia, don't open your eyes." Tyson mocked as Dash chuckled playfully. Taking a deep breath, Tyson slipped his hand on her feet as she flinched on the contact, "Just wait for a sec." he soothed her, pulling her leg and placing her foot on his knee.
Dash could feel the heat rush to her cheeks as she felt Tyson tie something around her both her ankles. Taking a final look at what he had done, Tyson smiled contently and stood up, "Done!"
Lavender orbs opened slowly as Dash looked at her feet, while Tyson stared at her face, taking in every bit of her reaction, which changed from curiousness to shock to amazement, and finally pure joy.
"Tysie!" Dash squealed, throwing her arms around his neck as he stood in place for a moment out of shock, then eased up, wrapping his arms around her back as his fingers entangled in her sky blue locks.
Breaking away from the hug, Dash was grinning ear to ear, as she tapped her feet on the ground, the jingling sound lulling her in the ethereal world of ecstasy. "Anklets!" Dash squealed happily, turning to Tyson as she thanked him, "Thanks a lot Tysie! I've never worn one in my whole life! Thank you so much!"
"It was my pleasure, Kia." Tyson chuckled looking at the joyful state of his best friend, 'Only if you realize the truth of what these symbolize.' His mind thought, an eerie feeling getting over him, making him rethink his action, but it was a little late.
Lavenders glimmered with happiness as they examined the anklets carefully. It was completely silver, with the jingling bells hanging down, and six light blue stones bedecked in each one of them. Dash's eyes twinkled as the anklets shined under the sunrays. 'They are so pretty!' She wondered, 'Really, even the artificial stones are looking real. And damn! This false silver is shining like the true one!'
Call it innocence or what, dash didn't realize the true worth. The worth of either the precious stones and the silver- which were false and artificial in her eyes, or the person standing beside her. She didn't know the worth. But things can't be hidden for long enough. The worth, the symbolism of both the anklets and her friend will surely unfold one day, either giving her the divine feeling of being complete, or the horrifying feeling of… something which she would never want to face?
As the Lavenders were lost in examining the jingling anklets, the Auburns were mesmerized, either by the beautiful sight in front of them or by the thought of her reaction when Dash realizes what these anklets symbolize. Would she accept him after knowing the true symbolism of the 'Jingling of her Anklets'?
…
Mischievous Rubies twinkled at seeing their reflection in the mirror. Hilary was currently inside her room, getting ready for the night's festival. Seated on a chair in front of the dressing table, she kept on admiring her reflection. The big doors to the balcony were open, swaying the curtains with the soothing breezes blowing.
"What should I do now?" Hilary asked to herself in a perplexed state. "It's quite complicated, in what order should I wear these bangles?" She prodded her chin with her index finger, Rubies fixated on a set of orange and golden bangles placed on the dressing.
"Thud!"
The ears of the brunette got alert on hearing the sound, it felt as if someone just bashed himself against the door to her room. She gulped once, trying to think of who might be leaning against her door, not everyone is allowed to enter the side of the castle where the Emperor's sisters' rooms were located.
"Who's there?" Hilary asked out of curiosity, her Ruby orbs fixated at the door. On not receiving any response, Hilary sighed as she stood up annoyed and went to the door.
Just as she opened the door, her Rubies went as wide as to cover her whole face. Standing in front of her, four feet away was a guy, nearly nineteen years of age. His white skin was glowing, radiating an unknown inviting aura. Dual toned slate bangs were falling above his eyes, which seemed to be closed, while the blackish-blue hair were tied in a short ponytail behind. One of his palm was resting on the doorframe, leaning in for support as his beefy biceps contracted, making them look even more eye-catching.
A dark purple Hakama stopped above his bare feet, while his well built toned abs and chest were showing off through the folds of the light blue Kimono top he was wearing. Hilary's eyes roamed over the stranger, getting lost in admiring each and every little thing about him.
Surveying the guy's charm, the Rubies focused on his closed eyes. She realized that he was panting slowly, his chest rising up and down. After a second or two, the awaited moment came, as his eyes opened and the twinkling Rubies met the deep and divine Amethysts.
Just like iron melting inside a hot furnace, the Amethysts melted inside the Rubies. The never stopping moment was suddenly interrupted as a groan escaped his lips. The Rubies blinked as Hilary gained her senses, catching a glimpse of the reason the stranger just groaned. A gasp escaped her throat as she witnessed his free hand, a dagger piercing through it, visible from the inside as well as the outside of his hand. Blood flowed out mercilessly from the wound.
Before she could say anything, the stranger's grip on the doorframe loosened as his eyes started getting heavy, eventually concealing his Amethysts as he dozed off in unconsciousness. Before his limp body would fell on the ground, Hilary let his weight fell over her, supporting his unconscious body up as she dragged him inside her room, fear evident in her Ruby orbs.
…
Hilary stared at the unconscious guy. When he had passed out, Hilary managed to drag him to her bed and let him rest there, as she treated the wound.
Rubies took in every detail of his face. Fair skin, slate and indigo hair, blue shark marks, and… those deep Amethysts. Just as she was admiring his masculine charm, Amethysts opened slowly as his eyes blinked a few times to adjust his vision.
Hilary's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met again. She was sitting at the edge of the bed. Slowly, the stranger sat up and looked at her in the eye. Rubbing his right eye with his hand, the Amethysts dived in deeper into her Rubies, "Hilary?" He asked slowly, barely louder than a whisper.
"You know me?" Hilary asked standing up, curiosity flooding over her.
"Yes," The Amethysts were busy in examining the treated wound, "I am Kai."
"K…Kai?" Hilary asked, Rubies widening in surprise, her face blossomed in a wide smile as she squealed, "KAI!"
"I know it's my name-" Before Kai could complete his sentence, Hilary jumped on the bed beside him as her arms enveloped him in a tight hug, her chin resting on his shoulder as she entangled her fingers in his indigo locks.
Kai sat there in shock, his eyes standing out from his sockets. "I can't believe it's you!" Hilary beamed happily, her arms holding him tighter.
Soon recovering from the shock, Kai draped his arms around her waist as he pulled her closer, though hesitating a bit earlier. Hilary pulled away from the hug, her face showing all the signs of pure joy as she stared at his face, both their hands still in place.
"I never thought it would be you…" Hilary whispered, her Rubies twinkling with love.
A smile crept on Kai's face as he cupped her cheek, where heat rushed at once. "I just wanted to see how beautiful you would be looking during the festival…" He replied, softness taking over his sturdy face.
"Then…" Breaking their eye contact out of shyness, Hilary asked clumsily, "Would you help me get ready? Look, all those orange flowers are right there, waiting for you to decorate them on me…"
"Sure…" Kai said smirking as Hilary's blush deepened.
They had never thought to meet each other so soon, although they had waited for this moment since the last two years. Kai picked up the set of bangles, arranging them in an order his heart cooed. Slipping each and every bangle on her petite wrist, Kai cherished the smoothness of her skin, holding her hand tightly.
Making a beautiful tiara out of orange Dahlias, Marigolds and Gerbera Daisies, Kai kept it on Hilary's head, adorning the shine of her brown locks. Decorating her ears and neck with the gold earrings and a simple gold chain, he admired the flushed cheeks of the brunette every time his fingers brushed against her skin.
Combing her honeyed brown locks with the wooden comb as well as his fingers, he tied them into a loose French braid, letting the front bangs freely sway on her forehead.
Finally, Kai dipped his index and middle finger inside a small tin, getting them flavored with a honey-beetroot essence. Hilary bit her lower lip, her cheeks turning hundred shades of red. Slowly, Kai slid his fingers across her lips, smearing the red colored essence on her rosy lips, as his fingers felt heaven upon the soft skin.
Applying some Kohl under her eyes, he smiled upon the way her Rubies twinkled on meeting his Amethysts. "Done?" Hilary asked slowly, blinking her eyes in a way which got Kai fell into awe.
"No," Kai smirked softly as Hilary's beetroot-smeared lips formed a small pout, "Give me your feet."
A thousand shades of red occupied her puffed cheeks as Hilary's heart started beating hundred times per second. Butterflies fluttered all over her abdomen as Kai's calloused hands slipped under her feet, placing it on his knee. Hilary closed her eyes tightly out of excitement as she pressed her lips together, careful to not let the squeal come out of her mouth.
Slipping his hand inside his pockets, he pulled out a pair of shiny silver chain as he tied it around both her feet one by one. Hilary opened her eyes and almost felt blinded by the shine of the anklets. Red colored precious stones were studded in the silver anklet, five in each one, the jingle bells hanging as well.
"K…Kai?" Rubies blinked in awe as Hilary asked hesitantly, "Does this mean…"
"Yes," Kai said standing up, pulling Hilary into standing position by taking her hand inside his, "It means, that from now on, I will always be yours, just like you would be mine. Now, answer me, Hilary. Are you willing to spend the rest of your life with me?"
Tears of pure happiness glistened on the Ruby orbs, as Hilary pressed her lips in a firm line. Nodding her head in yes, as a few tears slipped out of her eyes, Hilary wrapped her arms around his torso as Kai caressed her back.
"Kai?" Hilary whispered, head buried in his chest as Kai hummed caressing her head, signaling that he was listening. "Who attacked you with the dagger?"
Amethysts shut tightly as Kai gulped, he didn't expect her to ask that. Taking a deep breath, Kai spoke, "I am a warrior, Hilary, and I have to be habitual to all of these pains. Now, I want you to know that being my wife could even result in your misery. We warriors don't have any personal life; we don't know whether we would return home safely. There is-"
Harshly pulling away from him, Hilary placed her palm on Kai's mouth. Tearful Rubies stared in the shocked Amethysts. Sniffling, Hilary spoke softly, "Which kind of husband tells his wife that there are chances of her being widowed; that too the moment she got engaged?" Her breaths rose on even thinking about it, "From now on, I am yours Kai. And being the future wife of a brave warrior like you, I too would become brave to never be a liability on you. Today, I pledge to always support you, and to be the bravest of the wife of a warrior ever…"
Kai smiled slowly on witnessing her guts, this was the reason he loved her. Wiping away the tears from her eyes, he enveloped her in a hug again, pouring out all his passion for her.
The anklets were the symbolism of their love, symbolism of their eternal bond. The only sound that Kai would want to hear, apart from the voice of his lover, through the rest of his life was the 'Jingling of her Anklets'.
…
The time finally came as the sun started setting on the horizon. The open hall of the royal palace was decorated with all sorts of colorful vibrant flowers, as their fragrance spread through the open area. Many people dressed in colorful Kimonos were chatting and gossiping, relishing the company of their family and friends.
Viewing the bright lanterns lighted in the dark evening, which were reflecting their light on the marble pillars of the hall, the hearts of all the people filled with an unknown joy. The golden throne glistened in the cheery environment, as the orange-haired Emperor smiled on looking at the grand evening.
The Amethysts eyes were locked at a certain person, cherishing each and every moment of the girl as she talked to a group of girls. The way she giggled, chuckled and talked, everything mesmerized Kai in its own way. The way her Ruby eyes lit up and twinkled, how her fair petite hand pushed away the bangs of her chocolate hair away from the Rubies, each and every time her tongue licked her rosy lips, everything was like viewing an angel for him.
Ever since they were talking to each other through the messages, Kai had loved her thoughts, he loved the way she described things, the way she viewed the outer world. For him, she was none other than a goddess herself. 'Hilary…' His mind wandered in the ethereal world of love, 'Look at the great impact you have on me. What's the use of worshipping the goddess for an ideal husband? I know I might not become the best husband, you deserve a lot more than me, but I'd surely never let you suffer any sorrow in life…'
His eyes wandered over every inch of her body, admiring the all mighty himself for creating such an ethereal beauty. Her hair was tied in the French braid he himself had made. Her lips were still smeared with the mixture he had coated on her lips with his fingers, the kohl still perfectly making her Rubies standing out. She was clad in a long sleeved orange Kimono, printed with white lily patterns and a baby pink Obi was fixating it. The orange flowers' tiara, golden chain and earrings and most of all, those silver red diamond studded anklets, she was dressed the way he had decorated her.
She was the charm of the festival, talking and laughing, dancing with the other girls, worshipping the goddess with her hands joined and eyes closed, just enjoying the festival to her fullest. While he was here, standing in a corner, dressed in the same outfit he had worn today morning, peeking through the crowd to relish her beauty, just to satisfy his heart, but it was never enough.
"What the…" Came the trailed off and amazed voice of someone from beside him, as the Amethysts opened and looked at the intruder, who had just stopped his thoughts.
The Chinese warrior stared at him in shock, golden orbs wide in bafflement. "What are you doing, Kai?" ray asked getting out of shock as Kai glared at him.
"Nothing" Kai growled as Ray chuckled slowly, "I know what you are doing." Ray smiled sincerely, "You are just cherishing your friend, Kai. I can understand, there's nothing to hide at all."
"Hm, I know." Kai said diverting his gaze to Hilary yet again, getting lost in his thoughts.
Ray smiled looking at his friend, he was happy that Kai was settled finally, he has found the love of his life. 'Thinking about the love of his life,' The golden orbs thought mischievously, 'Where is the love of my life?' His gaze wandered around, as his heart skipped a beat on finally finding what he was searching for.
The fair hour glass figure girl, eighteen year old she was, stood right beside the Ruby-eyed brunette, talking and laughing. Her deep Purple orbs glistened alongside the Kohl applied under and at the corner of her eyes, making them look even more elegant. A tamarind extract was smeared on her puffed rosy lips. Her lush scarlet hair was left flawlessly open, dropping till her waist. Cocktail glass cleavage was visible through the folds of her deep v-shaped neck Kimono, which was blood red in color, with imprints of pink Sakura, secured at her slim waist with a yellow Obi. Her wrist, neck, ears and arms were decorated with heavy gold jewelry, with a golden tiara studded with a shiny pink diamond rested proudly upon her head.
Nineteen year old Ray Kon could already feel his eyes getting drunk at her sight, the only moment he was waiting for was the festival to end soon. The scarlet haired wlked away with the other girls, as the silver purple diamond studded anklets on her feet jingled. A smirk plastered on Ray's face as he fantasized about the night after this festival would end.
Just as the Golden and Amethyst orbs were lost in relishing each and every move of the Onyx and Ruby orbs, a pair of Auburn orbs was roaming here and there, lost and desolated as Tyson tried to search for his refuge, the pair of Lavender orbs.
"Where are you, Kia?" Tyson mumbled to himself, cutting through the crowd, banging into people but not finding his Dash. 'I hope she would be alright…'
The festival went by slowly, but when it came to an end, Ray didn't forget to sneak out through the crowd and reach his destiny. As Kai too was about to leave, someone called from behind, "Hiwatari-Kun!"
Turning around, Kai found an orange-haired guy staring at him, "I wanted to talk to you."
"Yes, your Majesty?" Kai bowed as he knelt down.
"Look Kai," Brooklyn began with a tone of seriousness, "I've found out about you and Hilary." A gasp escaped Kai's mouth as his eyes widened in surprise. No one knew this except Tyson and Ray. Now Kai was not wrong if he thought them to be at fault. But little did he know that his best friend was a lot busy in searching for his heartthrob throughout the festival, while the Chinese was lost in fantasizing about his night.
"I…" Kai tried to speak, but the fear of Brooklyn denying to get his cousin sister married to the commander-in-chief of his army was scaring him to no ends. "D-Did Tyson or Ray tell you?", Was all that came out of his mouth.
"No," Brooklyn said, "It wasn't Tyson, neither Ray." A wave of relief as well as guilt spread through him as Kai realized that he actually doubted his best friends.
"Look Kai," Brooklyn began, "Lighting the incense stick of love, you can't pray for the others to not smell it. The 'Jingling of her Anklets' was enough for me to know it. Besides, my sister isn't a liar, she herself told me about it, just when the festival was about to start."
Kai sighed, he didn't want to hide it either. But the fear of losing Hilary was enough for him to not directly ask Brooklyn for marrying her. "You got something to say?" Brooklyn asked.
"I…" Kai finally looked up, his Amethysts softer than ever, though still not losing their stern nature. "I love Hilary with all my heart and soul. I might not be able to give her these luxuries in my house, but never would I let a single tear escape her eyes. She is your sister, and I'd accept your decision, whatever it might be."
"My decision is," Brooklyn scowled, "To get you two married as soon as possible." Kai's eyes grew out of his sockets as a wave of joy spread across him, while Brooklyn chuckled, "You're my brother-in-law now, Kai."
Kai nodded, as Brooklyn patted his back and went away, leaving Kai alone in the hall, alongside the moon in the sky which was sneaking and overhearing their conversation, smiling shyly at the new eternal bond which would soon be created among the Amethysts and the Rubies.
To be continued…
Phew! It was quite hard to write it. And truly speaking, at a point, I had even thought of stopping. I was just not satisfied with what I had written and was about to stop and give up, but then the thought of me not giving a present to our Ellie was really bothering me. Thus, here I am. Hope it wasn't messed up.
I have really enjoyed writing it till here, and will probably enjoy writing the net part even more! Stay bated to read the next and final part! I would be uploaded by the end of May hopefully, as I am busy with my tenth grade classes.
I actually realized the beauty of Kaihil now. There silence is what makes them so special. I have tried to portray their relationship in their way, and really hope it wasn't OOC. Talking about RaySal, the next part would be focused on this forbidden pairing. And TyDash? *Blushing and biting nails* I guess it was actually quite amusing to write it. TyDash is going to be focused more in the next part than it was in this one.
Dear Ellie, Hope you have liked it. Seriously, it was nothing when compared to your fics, but I've tried my best to make it the ideal present for you. Stay safe and happy for always, and best of luck for your life ahead!
Lots of love to everyone who is reading this! take care and stay safe!
