Prologue
During an era of endless war, long before the time of Shinobi and the founding of hidden Villages, a millennium ago a very beautiful lady and a dangerous looking man arrived on the earth. Their Goal was to plant a God Tree and harvest it´s Chakra fruit with which she was to provide for the main family of her clan from another world.
The beautiful lady was called Kaguya Ótsutsuki, she had very long and angelic lavender hair, it was so bright that it looked like it would shine, her eyes were purely white almost transparent with also a hint of lavender inside of them, truly eyes which could make you lost inside of them, and her skin was in a milky tone of white, was a low member of her clan
so she was the one chosen to be sacrificed to nurture the development of the God Tree.
Unfortunately Kaguya developed an attachment for the planet she meant to destroy. She was stunned by the beautiful nature, all these animals and different kinds of plants, she thought that some humans were cute, how they were leading themselves by their feelings. Which led to betray the dangerous looking man, Isshiki in the process and leaving him for the dead.
Later she was discovered by the people of the Land of Ancestors, who brought her before their emperor, Tenji.
After Identifying herself as the God Tree´s guardian, Kaguya used a mysterious power to wipe Tenji´s and everyone's memories of the encounter and subsequently settled among his people, she preferred him and his people the most between all humans, because Kaguya noticed that they aren't focusing on power and strength, Tenji just wanted peace and happiness for his people. She became recognised as his concubine. Growing closer with the emperor, she eventually fell pregnant.
When the Land of Ka began to threaten the Land of Ancestor over a border dispute, Tenji attempted to prevent the outbreak of war by declaring that anyone who attacked the larger nation´s representatives was to be executed, an order which Kaguya broke when she was threatened by them. Resulting in her and her assistant Aino becoming hunted by their land to be executed.
Losing all faith in humanity but still longing for peace, Kaguya believed that it was necessary for her to attain god-like powers in order to put an end to all humanity´s conflicts.
Kaguya ate the fruit, despite the taboo with her clan, waiting to harvest that world of its God Tree. In doing so, she awakened the Rinne Sharingan and became the sole person on the planet endowed with chakra.
Using her new found power, Kaguya single handedly ended the wars and took control of the nations. For her deed of stopping the conflict, she received the blessing of the people and was worshipped as the Rabbit Goddess.
Far from the Land of the Ancestors, in the Kingdom of the Moon, Queen Serenity watched Kaguya, suspicious, she really didn't trusted anyone of the Ótsutsuki Clan, Serenity knew from past experiences, that nearly all clan members would do everything in order to possess more power and strength. But she was relieved that the endless wars will find an end, for now.
After establishing peace, Kaguya used the Infinite Tsukuyomi on humans to transform them into an army of White Zetsu over the course of many years in order to protect her chakra from being stolen by other clan members.
Not wanting mankind to perish, she freed some victims of the genjutsu and erased their memories.
While giving birth to her twin sons Hagoromo and Hamura, she dispersed chakra to them, making the pair the first people born with chakra.
Ruled by herself and often resorting to cruelty, her dojutsu and jutsu were regarded with fear, awe and reverence by humans. At some indefinite point, the Rabbit Goddess had instead become known as a Demon.
Eventually, Kaguya found herself ruled by her own desire to possess all chakra, which eventually turned her against her sons. Having devised a plan to absorb their chakra , she integrated with the God Tree and became the Ten-Tails, followed by her challenging the twins to battle.
The twins were not the only one she had to battle, Queen Serenity from the Moon Kingdom, chosen to support Hagoromo and Hamura in order to keep the peace in the Kingdom.
Assuming the Ten-Tails was an incarnation of the God Tree that attacked them to recover the chakra from its stolen fruit, the twins sealed the beast´s chakra within the former´s body while using its husk as the core of Six Paths - Chibaku Tensei, while Serenity used the Silver Crystal to give them more strength so they can seal her in the Moon.
Hamura later took leadership of the Otsutsuki clan and was departing to the Moon Kingdom with Serenity to guard the beast's remains, later they started to develop feelings for each other and end up married. Together they had beautiful children, one of them is their daughter, which they named Usagi, to remain the beautiful and nice side of Kaguya, the Rabbit Goddess.
However, just before her sons could completely seal her, Kaguya had manifested her will in the form of an artificial human called Black Zetsu. With the agenda of reviving its "mother".
Usagi sadly didn't receive any of her fathers powers or looks except Chakra. She had beautiful long blonde hair just like her mother, her eyes were in such a warm blue like the ocean's and her skin was kissed by the sun to give her a light tan. In order to learn more about humanity and their feelings, Serenity wants her daughter and future Queen of the Moon Kingdom to grow up on Earth, together with Hagoromo.
Hagoromo remained on Earth in order to spread chakra to humanity, to free the world of Kaguya´s Infinite Tsukuyomi and teach them the concept of ninshu.
Hagoromo chose to travel the earth to find proper dwellings for the tailed beasts and repent for the damage he caused the world from his fight against Kaguya. Before leaving, Gamamaru told Hagoromo a prophecy he had about a mischievous blue-eyed child who would one day connect with the tailed beasts and bring about a miracle.
Afterwards, Hagoromo eventually returned to his home village to act as the centre for the teachings of ninshu. He also fell in love and married a woman with whom had two children, Indra and Asura. During the second pregnancy, there were complications as Hagoromo's wife passed not long after giving birth to her second child.
Hagoromo later began instructing his sons and Usagi in Ninshu. The older son, Indra, who was the same age as Usagi, was acknowledged by Hagoromo as a true prodigy, quickly began to revel in his natural prowess and became very solitary.
Indra was a carefree and loving person who looked after and played with his younger brother and cousin. A very mature boy, he understood the importance of patience and thinking things through. He was very protective of Asura and Usagi and worried about the future of Ninshu.
He had long brown hair, cut short on top. Two locks wrapped in bandages framed either side of his face. His eyebrows were cut short, a symbol of his nobility.
As Indra continued to amaze all with his natural capacities and advanced growth rate, he began showing his ingenious side, realising how chakra could be altered to perform more versatile feasts.
Even after he was revealed as a prodigy, he took the praises of others with modesty, since he only wanted to help others. He was also very committed to his studies and regular practice.
Soon afterwards, the other Ninshu followers learned from Indra´s example and began using this innovation to improve the quality of life for both themselves and the village. While initially proud of his discovery, Indra grew concerned when he noticed that everyone began focusing more on physical growth rather than spirituality as what was meant for Ninshu.
Periodically, Black Zetsu would secretly approach Indra alone, goading him with praises and curiosity towards Indra´s true potential, even going so far to say he could rival if not surpass the Sage of Six Paths himself.
After awakening his Sharingan, Indra began to take to heart the mysterious figure´s praises, focusing solely on his training growing colder and more distant to others, including his brother and Usagi.
However, after being manipulated with such praise by Black Zetsu and learning more about his true power, Indra revelled at how impressive he perceived his own capacities and potential to be, to the point that he was proud of being different and expected perfection from himself and others.
He became very independent, as was evident from his determination to walk his own path unaided. As he did everything in his own power alone, he believed power and force could achieve anything, even peace, which was an ideology he shared with his grandmother. As such, he grew very stern in enforcing the law, believing there are no exceptions whatsoever.
The younger son, Asura, proved to be the exact opposite. Asura's childhood was peaceful and joyous, spending his time either blissfully alongside his father, brother and Usagi, or playing with the village children. When old enough, the three began studying Ninshū under Indra and Asura´s father in the hopes of one of them becoming the great sage's successor.
Asura had short, spiky brown hair, two locks of which were wrapped in bandages framing either side of his face in a similar manner to his brother. He possessed stern facial features.
As a child, Asura lived in the shadow of his genius older brother Indra. Having displayed no natural talent himself, Asura came to realise the value of others and the power of the friends and allies he made. Eventually, he awakened his own power which equalled Indra's own. In spite of admiring his brother's talents, he grew concerned for Indra as he continued to mysteriously grow colder and more distant to others.
Their Cousin, Usagi, was very different compared to them. She was not really interested in learning Ninshu, her focus was laying more on humanity and their bonds.
Ninshu wasn´t the best thing Usagi could do, she didn't really like using it. She was preferring her Guardian powers she inherited from her mother more so while her cousins would even train ninshu in their free time she would train her guardian powers.
Usagi was a very cheerful and immature girl. She cries easily and is often overtaken with emotion. She also displays an unwavering hope and sees good in everyone that others may not. The daughter of Serenity has a pure heart and is always there for everyone, especially for Indra and Asura.
She can be clumsy at times but overall is a kind, strong courageous girl, who stands up for what is right and believes everyone deserves love.
Love was a very important thing for Usagi, her deepest wish was to find her true love and live in all happiness with him. Compared to her cousins she never took her life seriously or saw the dangers, but slowly even Usagi gets concerned about Indars change in attitude.
Finally deciding the time had come to choose a successor to Ninshu, Hagoromo sent each of his sons on a different mission of restoration for a struggling land that was ravaged by the battle against Kaguya to test their capacities. Usagi chose to stay with her uncle because she didn't feel the need to get tested for something she has no right to or even be interested in.
Instead Usagi decided to travel around in order to find her true love, and she was indeed successful. She fell in love with the prince of the Land of Hi, the Land of Fire, Mamoru. According to Usagi it was love at first sight. She and Mamoru returned to the Sage of Six paths and decided to wait for their marriage when her brother-like cousins will return. Because after her marriage Usagi is forced to fulfill her role as the Queen of the Moon Kingdom in order to do so she has to return.
A year went by since the missions were given, Indra quickly returning after completing his while Asura took much longer. Deciding to wait for his younger son's return before making his decision, he was told the nature of how Indra completed his mission by Gamamaru.
Indra was not so happy about Usagis, now fiancé, he thought that she deserved better, that the man next to her should at least be as strong as him or his brother, but in the end he accepted it for her happiness.
Eventually, Asura completed his mission, but also returned with many people from the village, who were inspired by Asura and even learned Ninshu from him, having him complete his mission.
Asura on the other hand was really happy as he received the news about Usagi´s fiancé. He was relieved that she finally achieved her dream of finding her true and real love. Even if that means that she will have to leave soon.
With Asura and Indra present, Hagoromo decided to choose his successor in Ninshu. Much to everyone's surprise, Hagoromo chose Asura. This greatly angered and confused Indra, who thought he was worthy of becoming the successor, and he stormed out into the wilderness.
Despite this, he was able to keep his jealousy of Asura becoming the Ninshu´successor in check and held no ill feelings towards his brother and father who he loved and respected greatly.
However, these lingering feelings of rejection from his father allowed Black Zetsu to convince Indra to take the title for himself as it was his birthright, and led Indra to challenge his father´s decision.
This caused the love Indra had for his father and brother to ultimately turn into hatred and wanting the title of Ninshus leader for himself. Indra's hatred ideology would have dire consequences for his descendants. He came to view Ninshu as an incomplete cowardly means for achieving peace, and thus sought to change it to a means of using power itself to enforce peace.
His desire for power and pride in his independence went so far as to willingly kill his two best friends to accomplish both goals, even through tears and apologies.
As Hagoromo was nearing death and laying on his deathbed, Indra appeared to his father after years of disappearance and explained his ambition to take down ninshu. Hagoromo later relays this information to Usagi, Asura and his family, entrusting his younger son with his final wish before dying.
Later on, Hagoromo explained to Asura why he chose him as his successor and asked Asura to take care of the world with Indra and Hagoromo gave Asura his power.
Asura and Usagi pleaded for Indra to reconsider, but their words fell on deaf ears, since Indra sternly believed that power and force were the only true means to ensure peace and order were obtained.
Subsequently, Indra in a fit of rage attacked Hagoromo, Asura and the rest of villagers with his Susanoo and newly acquired Mangekyou Sharingan, with his explanation as to how he obtained the dojutsu drawing Hagoromo's disgust, Aura awoke his Six Path Chakra and was able to fend of Indra´s attack.
Realising this fight was inevitable, Hagoromo instructed the villagers to pass their chakra to Asura, allowing his power to fully mature. Using his new power, Asura was able to defeat Indra, Usagi still tried to stop Indra, because she couldn´t believe that this man could be her brother, the same brother who always wanted to protect her and Asura, but she couldn´t.
Indra fled in anger while vowing to destroy Ninshu and his younger brother as well, he ignored Usagi.
Not being able to stand this fight between her brothers anymore because she loved them both the same amount, she couldn´t understand why Hagoromo had to choose between one of them when he just could give them both a half of everything. Frustrated and sad she decided not to wait any longer for her wedding, and after all Indra didn't even show up, which was no surprise, but she still had hoped for a miracle. So she and Mamoru left for the Moon after giving her goodbyes. Usagi left a Farewell letter for Indra but he never received it so he could never read it.
So the parts of the three were divided and they never saw each other again until..
