(A/N: While I do ship Louie and Lena, I only ship it in the fanon universe. But in spite of that I still wrote this story as an add on to a canon episode, don't ask me why.)

"Now that was a fun night." said Louie.

"Indeed it was lad." said Scrooge. He along with Huey, Dewey, and Louie returned back from the money bin in the late hours of the night.

"I'm exhausted now." said Huey.

"You boys best be off to bed." said Scrooge.

"Night Uncle Scrooge." the three boys said walking upstairs.

When the triplets rounded the first corner of the upstairs halls they saw Launchpad filming Mrs. Beakley who was wearing a Darkwing Duck costume.

"What are you two doing?" asked Huey.

"Oh, hey guys." said Launchpad. "Me and Mrs. B are making a fan episode of Darkwing Duck based off one of my scripts."

"No way!" said Dewey. "Mrs. Beakley, you like Darkwing Duck!?"

"Launchpad showed me every episode and I found it to be an endearing franchise." said Mrs. Beakley with a small shrug. "Now help us film or get out of the shot!"

Huey and Louie continued on to their bedroom while Dewey stayed behind to film Darkwing Duck with Launchpad and Mrs. Beakley.

The red and green triplets arrived at their bedroom door when they heard noise coming from Webby's bedroom.

"What was that?" asked Louie.

"Webby said she was having a new friend over for the night." said Huey.

Louie nodded in understanding. Then he thought of an idea, just for the fun of it he should go up there and scare the living daylights out of them. "I'm gonna use the bathroom before bed." the green triplet said to his brother as he walked off down the hall.

Louie navigated the halls until reaching Webby's bedroom. A devious smirk spread across his beak as he prepared for what he was about to do. But he stopped when he heard an all too familiar voice. "Is that… Lena?" he said to himself.

Louie slowly leaned his head around the corner to peer in through the ajar door. Sure enough he saw Lena, Webby, and some other girl he had never seen before sitting together talking and laughing.

Louie's heart dropped like a rock. He quickly withdrew his head and walked away from Webby's door, a million thoughts rushing through his head. "She's back? But how? Who cares how? She's back! This is amazing!"

"Louie?" That voice saying his name made Louie's heart freeze. He spun around to see Lena standing at the other end of the hallway.

"Hey Lena. What's up?" said Louie leaning against the wall.

"I was just brought back into this realm." replied Lena, sarcasm lacing her tone.

"Well uh, welcome back." said Louie.

"Thanks greenie." Lena smirked.

"Well I'm off to use the bathroom." said Louie.

"Same." said Lena. "Want a walking buddy?"

"Sure." said Louie.

Louie and Lena strolled down the dark and quiet halls of McDuck manor together while making casual conversation.

"So, what was it like in the shadow realm?" asked Louie.

"Dark, depressing, lonely." replied Lena glumly.

"I'm sorry you were stuck there for so long." said Louie.

"Don't be. There's nothing you could've done about it." said Lena.

"I suppose you're right." said Louie.

"At least I did have Webby to sort of keep me company." said Lena. "How have things been back here?"

"As normal as things can be when you're a Duck." said Louie. "In other words exhausting."

The two reached the bathroom. Lena went in first and Louie played on his phone while waiting his turn.

A few minutes later Lena came out of the bathroom. "Welp, see you around." she said to Louie. Lena turned but before she could walk too far, she felt two arms wrap around her waist.

"Good to have you back." she heard Louie say.

"Ah, you guys are all so sappy." said Lena chuckling.

Louie let go. "We get it from Uncle Donald. Goodnight Lena." he entered the bathroom and shut the door.

"Night." Lena walked back to Webby's bedroom.

Louie let out a long breath. He hugged her. He had wanted to do that every day since she had been sent to the shadow realm. He missed her so much, much more than anyone could have ever guessed. The youngest triplet's night had already been great, but now it was even better.
