The Return of Jadeite

A/N1: AU where the shitenou were reborn at about the same time as Mamoru but part of their souls were taken from their present bodies and were put into their first life bodies to be used as puppets by Beryl.

A/N2: soulmates can talk to each other in their heads, but only if either they remember their past lives or BOTH have realized somehow that they are soulmates.

Chapter 1

Motoki's POV

You probably know my name if you know Usagi's story, but my name is Motoki Furuhata, and today my brother woke up from his coma. Yes I have a brother, and Usagi and Mamoru have met him. The thing though, is he went into a coma mysteriously a few months before all the senshi stuff started. He had fallen asleep at a normal time that night, but the next morning when I tried waking him up he didn't even make a sound.

I'll tell you about him before I introduce him, his name is Jian, he's good, but he sure did like to play pranks, we are twins, I'm older by three hours, he's blond like me but his hair is a shade lighter and he has blue eyes while mine are green and he's a few inches shorter than me.

Now that that's done, I'm walking into his hospital room, I visit him once a week, even though I knew we couldn't talk to each other, it's nice to know he wasn't dying. I was surprised to see him start to stir, but I smiled as I sat on the chair the nurses left for me next to his bed.

"Aniki" I hear him mumble as he wakes, I smile.

"Hey, Otōto," I say relieved he's not going to be asleep forever, "how was your rest?"

"Alright, I guess," he told me, "how long have I been asleep?" He asked .

"About four years," I tell him, smiling lightly, "I was scared you'd never wake."

"You wouldn't be able to get rid of me that easily dear brother, " he says grinning, I can't help but grin back as he asks, "so what has changed in the last four years?"

"Well Usagi and Mamoru got together." I told him.

"I knew it!" He grinned, "you owe me 20 yen." He said, and I sighed, I forgot we had betted on that, of course I hadn't wanted to but Jian being Jian had roped me into it. I hadn't thought the two would actually get together, always butting heads over something or other, but Ji somehow knew they'd get together.

"Alright, I'll give it to you after we leave," I smiled, "Usagi made some new friends," I opted not to mention that they were senshi, Usagi and the others could tell him I only found out because a youma once attacked the arcade.

"Oh, really, what are they like?" He asks, interest flooding his expression.

I tell him all I know about them, minus the senshi bits of course, and he seems to lean forward as I talk about Rei for some reason.

A stone in a box in Mamoru's apartment.

Jadeite's POV

I feel something awaken ah, it's my present day incarnation, though he is not ready to remember the memories that are inside this stone, the memories I shall have, I know that my master Endy- ah Mamoru will ask me how I am in the stone, while the human my soul should be in is alive, I shall tell him the truth.

An hour later, leaving the hospital.

Jian's POV

I can't believe I was asleep for four years, and Mamo and Usa got together, I doubted even myself when I said that, but something inside me just knew, anyway we are about to go to the arcade. My bro said Mamoru, Usagi and those other girls should be there, I'm especially excited to meet the fiery priestess, Rei Hino I think Motoki said her name was, she sounds interesting; we are walking there now and it is gonna be fun I will see Mamoru and Usagi again as well as meet the girls.

At the arcade

Usagi's POV

I can't wait to see Ji-chan again, it's been years. I wanna catch him up on stuff and introduce him to the girls!

"Hey Usagi-chan!" Oops I spaced out..

"Yea, Rei-chan?" I ask, rubbing the back of my head.

"Who did you say was coming again?" She asked me.

"Oh, Motoki is bringing his younger twin brother to meet us, his name is Jian, and he has been in a coma since a few months before I became Sailor Moon. He's really nice and funny, he likes pranks a lot!" I told her grinning.

"He's been in a coma all these years?" Mina asked, tilting her head.

"Yea" Mamoru answers for me, "it was strange the way Motoki told me about it was that he just fell asleep one night and didn't wake up at all the next day."

"That seems really strange." Mako said, "well I can't wait to meet him."

At that moment the door to the arcade opened, Motoki came in with Ji- wait, well it is Ji-chan but he also looks like… I look at Mamo-chan and he seems to notice what I see as well. "Could he be?" I ask Mamo-chan through our mind bond that we have since we are soulmates.

"I don't know" he says thoughtfully through the bond, "The stone is still active, or at least it was last time I checked."

I nodded before retreating out of the bond, I noticed Rei starting to get up, obviously noticing the similarities that Mamo-chan and I noticed, I tugged her down and whispered "Rei-chan, no, Ji-chan isn't him." I said, and then thought 'at least not yet.' to myself

"How do you know he isn't?" Rei asked me glaring lightly at me.

"Because Mamo-chan's stone is still active, if he was him, the stones' memories would have transferred to him." Of course I know Ji-chan could be his modern day incarnation, and for some reason the stone isn't transferring it's memories to the man standing next to Motoki.

Rei nods, "alright Usagi-chan, whatever you say."

I wave to the two blond men, "heya Motoki-Onii-san, Ji-chan!"

I saw Ji-chans grin, and Motoki-onii-san's smile saying, "Hey, girls, hey Mamoru-san" Motoki takes Ji-chan over, letting him introduce himself to the girls and the girls introduce themselves to him. When Rei introduced herself he seemed interested in her. It might be his past life, though that part of his soul is no longer there he still feels the connection between himself and Rei-chan, I looked at Mamo-chan, who was going to talk to Jadeite in the stone tonight.
