The rain poured down on a small, two-story house in the middle of a Plains Biome. Two children looked out of the windows from their bedroom, looking at the rain. A girl and a boy named Steve and Alex. "Do you think zombies will come out?" The male child asked excitedly looking at the forest of trees as some sheep and pigs roamed.

"Steve, they come out every time it rains. I want to see the slime!" Alex giggled, smiling as Steve made a face.

"Ew, slimes are gross and squishy and they can get everywhere." Steve shuddered, making Alex push him back.

"They're not gross, they're cute. I love their faces makes me want to squish them." Alex cooed making Steve gag.

Steve perked up when he saw the first zombie appear. "One day I'm going to kill one!" Steve said bouncing in place as Alex rolled her eyes.

"Puh-lease, you can't even hurt a bee." She replied making Steve glared at her.

"I can hurt a bee if I want to!" He retorted, huffing with his arms crossed. "They're just too many of them..." He muttered looking back outside seeing more zombies and some skeletons.

"Ew, spiders." Alex made a face as the spiders started coming out from the trees.

"Spiders are awesome! They can climb so high and get over walls!" Steve exclaimed making Alex shiver.

"That's why I don't like them." She replied.

"You're just jealous you can't do the same." Steve stuck his tongue out at her.

"Neither can you!" Alex glared back.

The two continued to bicker back and forth like siblings normally did until a man picked both of them up making them scream before laughing. "My little adventurers." The man chuckled holding them up as they giggled.

"Daddy, we thought you weren't coming until the morning," Alex said as she and her brother were put down.

"Well, I decided to come back early to see you two." Their father chuckled as he took out some presents for the two of them. He gave Alex a name tag, making her get a confused look on her face before gasping when she saw a puppy run in making her squeal and run over, hugging the puppy as it licked her face.

Steve bounced in place as he thought of what he was going to get and he looked down as his father gave him a Nether Star. He never saw one before and just stared at the item with wide eyes. It was smaller than what he thought it would be like. "How did you get this?" Steve asked looking up at his father.

"With some help, we summoned the Wither and beat it." His father told him, picking him up.

"A Wither!? Aren't those hard to kill?" Alex asked as Steve was just enamored with the Nether Star.

"Not if you know how to kill them." Their father told her as he sat down with Steve on his lap.

Steve placed a hand over the star, rubbing the item, feeling tingly just holding it. He couldn't help but keep it close as Alex climbed onto his dad's lap with him.

"Someday you'll both go on adventures on your own, fight mobs, explore new lands, all sorts of stuff." Their father told them as he turned so they all were looking out the window on that rainy night.

Eventually, the two were put to bed, sharing a room as their father told them good night before turning the lights off and closing the door. The Redstone torch making a low light in the room, suitable for their night light.

"Alex?" Steve called turning on his side looking over at the other side of the room where Alex's bed was.

"What?" She replied looking back at him.

"We'll always be together right?" He asked before a pillow hit his face.

"Of course, dummy. We're siblings and we're twins. We'll go out together and be adventurers." She grinned as Steve threw the pillow back at her.

"But what if we find someone?" Steve asked seeing her roll her eyes.

"Then we'll be neighbors with our families. I'm not going anywhere. Now go to sleep." She told him with a yawn turning around to face the wall on her side.

Steve rolled on his back staring at the ceiling before taking out his nether star, looking over the item. He could feel the energy as it tingled his fingers making him smile slightly before hiding it under his pillow and closing his eyes to fall asleep.

3 Months Later

Steve giggled as he sat outside on the grass watching his sister run around with her dog, Halo. He was enjoying the sunlight looking around at the trees around them. He didn't see any mobs in the tree line that would try to attack them. Halo was a good protector unless Creepers were involved you just had to run and hope you don't explode.

A buzzing sound made him jump seeing a bee fly next to him making him tense. He let out a whimper as the bee flew close to him with pollen dripping from its backside. He didn't get why he found Bees so... Scary. They were harmless unless you hurt them or their hive, but still.

Alex looked over with a grin seeing Steve with a Bee making her frown slightly at her brother being scared of a bee. She hurried over and pushed it aside without hurting it making it go on its way faster. "Man, that was one scary bee." She mused making Steve glared at her. She just giggled and pulled him up. "I'm just messing with you." She nudged his shoulder with a grin.

Steve huffed, crossing his arms and looking away as her sister. "I'm not afraid of bees." He muttered.

"I didn't say you were, but you sure act like it. Bee's are the least scary thing in this world." She told him about making him frown. "Come on, you have your nether star. They won't sting you with that on you." She lied to make him feel better.

Steve glance down at his pocket. "I guess." He said believing her. He really thought the nether star was magical and a sort of protection charm for him.

"Good, now cheer up and help me get some wheat seeds, we have to get back soon." She told him, picking the grass to find the wheat seeds. Steve went down and the two started clearing the area of grass and getting lots of seeds.

"Tell me again, why we have to get seeds?" Steve asked as he pocketed the seeds.

"For the chickens, duh! Mom told us they needed to make babies again and to have some for the farm. You should know this, dumb dumb." Alex told him as she stood up, her pockets full and so were her hands. "Come on!" She told him as she headed home, Halo following after her as Steve quickly got up and ran after her.

"Wait up for me!" Steve called after her as she was just a little faster than him.
