Konoha had prodigies before, a lot in fact, and they were all feared across all five nations.
Senju Hashirama, Shodaime Hokage (First Hokage), the only known wielder of the famed Mokūton (Wood Release), capable of beating all nine Bijū (Tailed beast) simultaneously. Hailed as a Shinobi no Kami (God of Shinobi)
Senju Tobirama, Nidaime Hokage (Second Hokage), brother of Senju Hashirama. His water affinity was better than any Mizukage. Capable of pulling water out of even the driest of atmospheres.
Sarutobi Hiruzen, Sandaime Hokage (Third Hokage), student of Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama. Said to master every single Jutsu known to man-kind. Also hailed as a Shinobi no Kami.
Namikaze Minato, Yondaime Hokage (Fourth Hokage), Student of Jiraya, with his Hiraishin (Flying Thunder god) he is capable of destroying armies of thousands in mere seconds.
Sannin no Jiraiya, first perfect Sennin (Sage) after Rikudou Sennin (Sage of six paths).
Senju Tsunade. Unmatched chakra control, unmatched temper, and unmatched back luck. With a finger, she could destroy mountains.
Orochimaru, the last member of the Sannin, he's a crazed scientist who wants to learn every Jutsu known to man and have immortality.
Uzumaki Kushina, possibly the last Uzumaki alive, is the daughter of Senju Tsunade and Kato Dan. With her chains, she could hold down the Kyuubi no Kitsune (Nine tailed fox) in her weakened state.
Uchiha Shisui, unlocked the famed Mangekyou Sharingan at age 6. Feared across all nations as he could take down enemies with a single Genjutsu
Uchiha Itachi, youngest Anbu captain in history, like Shisui, he is a Genjutsu master and can inflict actual pain with Genjutsu.
These are to mention a few.
But then, there's Senju-Namikaze, or Uzumaki Naruto. Genin at age 4, chūnin at age 5, Jōnnin at 6, Anbu captain at 7, feared across all five nations at 10, he's the son of Uzumaki-Senju Kushina and Namikaze Minato, Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi no Kitsune. Taught by Uchiha Shisui, Sarutobi Hiruzen, Uchiha Itachi. Basically the definition of prodigy.
His Tou-san (Father) was a genius. His Kaa-san (Mother) was a genius. His Baa-chan (Grandmother) was a genius, his Kyoufu (Godfather) was a genius, his Senseis were geniuses. His best friend was a genius. He was a genius.
He has mastered all five Elements, his Kekkei Genkais, (oooo) Fūinjutsu (Sealing techniques), Genjutsu, Taijutsu (Hand to hand combat), Kinjutsu (Forbidden technique), Kenjutsu (Sword techniques), Jikūkan Ninjutsu (Spacetime Ninjutsu) and now he's on the verge of mastering Senjutsu.
# - Actual story - #
"As you all know, I've summoned you to tell you about your teams," Sarutobi Hiruzen, Sandaime Hokage, said.
"But Jiji, why am I here?" Naruto asked. "I was enjoying some good ramen~" he pouted.
Naruto was a boy with spiky crimson hair, with Golden streaks, violet eyes, and pale skin. His most 'Adorable' thing was his whiskers, yes, he had 3 whiskers on each side of his cheeks, the Anbu and some female Jōnnin still mess with them, They were sensitive for god's sake!
"You're all here to get your team," Hiruzen said.
"Me?" Naruto asked, pointing at himself. "No way I'm dealing with a bunch of brats. Nu-uh, not happening"
"You aren't, Kakashi is,"
Naruto smirked, remembering the Silver haired Jōnin and snickering at his misfortune.
Hiruzen began to say the teams. "Team seven, Uchiha Sasuke, Sakura Haruno, and Uchiha Satsuki. Sensei: Hatake Kakashi and Senju-Namikaze Naruto"
Naruto nearly choked on air when he heard his name. "What?!"
"Yes, this is a new thing that we are trying, Senseis and their helpers" Hiruzen said.
"Why am I the only one…?" Naruto asked, his soul nearly leaving his body from his mouth.
"Are there any other Kage-level Shinobi your age in Konoha?" Hiruzen asked with a raised eyebrow.
"No…" Naruto mumbled while looking away.
# - The next day - #
"Team seven, Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Satsuki" Umino Iruka said.
Naruto watched from the shadows. "Uchiha Sasuke, cocky shit. He thinks everything belongs to him. He should be ashamed of even calling himself and Uchiha, no less calling himself the brother of Uchiha Itachi himself," he thought to himself, observing the black haired cocky bastard.
"Haruno Sakura, Daughter of councilwoman Haruno Mebuki. Like her mother, she's… obsessed with Uchiha. She's a fangirl through and through, ah, she would die on her first C-Rank" he sighed in his mind. Though, he didn't give two shits about what happened to Sakura.
"Uchiha Satsuki," Naruto thought with a smirk. "Basically has emotion, chakra levels rivalling Jiji — not even close to mine — she's basically radiating lightning and fire. And her Kekkei Genkai, Enton (Blaze Release) she's my favourite,"
"Your Senseis are Hatake Kakashi, and Uzumaki Naruto"
A few mumbled… 2 Senseis?
After every team was said, Iruka left, and all the Jōnin Senseis came.
Naruto sighed, he vanished and appeared in front of the door, holding Kakashi by his ear.
Sasuke and Sakura sweat dropped, while Satsuki looked like she was dead.
"Sup, names Uzumaki Naruto, this is Hatake Kakashi" Naruto said, pointing at Kakashi, who was caressing his ear.
"No way, you're our sensei, you're younger than Sasuke-kun!" Sakura screeched.
Naruto, at that second, nearly killed her. But Kakashi stopped him.
"No killing Naruto, especially no killing your student" Kakashi said.
"Hn,"
"Anyways, meet us at the roof"
With that, the two vanished.
# - Roof, about five minutes later - #
Naruto was quite surprised when Satsuki used Shunshin.
"She's certainly impressive," He thought with a grin.
"Mmmm, looks like the little fox has grown a crush" a dark voice said in Naruto's mind.
"I thought you were asleep, and no, I don't have a crush on her" Replied Naruto
"We'll see," Replied the voice.
"Shut up and go to sleep, you overgrown plushie" Naruto growled, The voice grunted and then stopped.
"Anyways brats, tell us about yourselves" Naruto said.
"Stop calling us brats, you brat!" Sakura screeched.
"Shut it brat" Naruto said, releasing killing intent, which caused Sakura to shut up
"Anyways, I'll go first," Kakashi said. "My name is Hatake Kakashi, I like stuff, dislike stuff, have hobbies, don't have a dream,"
"Names Uzumaki Naruto, I like doing extra, super, hard missions, ramen, Jiji, the Anbu. I hate it when people play with my whiskers-" Naruto said as he caressed his precious little whisker marks. "-I also hate Uchiha Sasuke, my dreams include playing pranks, learning Jutsu, and drinking the blood of my enemies!" He said with an extremely happy tone, which caused Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi to go pale.
"My dreams… have a lot, to mention some, let's say… Seeing what's under Kakashi's mask… and becoming Hokage, I guess" Naruto shrugged.
"You go, forehead the size of a Bijū's rail" Naruto said, pointing at Uselessness- I mean Sakura…
Forehead got a tick mark on her forehead… "My name is Haruno Sakura, I like Sasuke-kun, and Satsuki-san. I hate Naruto. My hobbies are………… my dream is……………"
"Next, brooding emo who thinks everything belongs to him, which it doesn't," Naruto pointed at Sasuke.
"My name is Uchiha Sasuke, I like little, hate a lot, my dream… it's not one ,it's an ambition, and I will make it a reality-"
"Yeah, yeah, Killing Uchiha Itachi, blah blah blah blah. You go next, less brooding emo who doesn't give a shit about life," Naruto said.
"My name is Uchiha Satsuki, I like very little, I'm neutral to most things, I hate very little. My hobby is training. And I do not have a dream," Satsuki said.
"Mmmmm," Naruto smirked. "Kay, meet us at training ground seven at seven am tomorrow, be late and I'll have your head," He said with a happy smile.
"Ba-bye~!" Naruto said in a sing-song tone as he vanished.
Kakashi was about to go, but he was stopped by Sakura. "Sensei, is he really a Jōnin?"
"Yes, He because a genin at 4, chūnin at 5, jōnin at 6, Anbu captain at 7, and at age 10, he was feared across all five nations as 'Konoha no Raijin' (Thunder god of the Leaf), and 'Kami no Kaze' (God of Wind)" Kakashi said. "He may actually be the next Hokage, he was trained by Hokage-sama, Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Shisui"
"Seven…!? That was younger than Itachi…" Sasuke thought. "He was trained by Itachi and Shisui-san!?"
"Anyways, I have to go, Ja ne"
With that, Kakashi poofed into smoke.
# - Next day, Training ground seven, Seven am - #
Naruto appeared, he was dragging a tied up Kakashi, who was crying anime tears, mumbling something about a precious book… or something.
"Sup, am I late?" Naruto asked.
"So, the test, it's gonna be a… survival-ish test, I'll let you pass if you can lay a finger on me, come at me with intent to kill," He ordered.
"But what if we hurt you, Sensei?" Sakura asked.
Naruto burst into laughter as he threw Kakashi and he magically was hanging from the tree, still tied up.
"That's hilarious!" Naruto yelled, laughing maniacally. "If you make me bleed, I will personally teach you,"
"Why would anyone want to be taught by a clanless loser?" Sasuke asked, crossing his arms around his chest.
In a second, Sasuke's cheek was bleeding, Naruto was behind, releasing waves of chakra, which caused the ground to crack.
"I'm actually from a clan, a clan that took more than 4 nations combined to kill, unlike your clan, which took 1 member," Naruto whispered into Sasuke's ear, then, Sasuke's face was already in the ground, Naruto's hand on his face. (Did I say that right?)
Next thing they realized was that Sakura was slammed into a tree.
Naruto appeared in front of Satsuki. "Now that the useless banshee and emo king is out of the way, I can finally face you"
Satsuki didn't reply, instead weaved handseals.
Snake Ram Monkey Boar Horse Tiger
"Katon - Gōkakyū no Jutsu (Fire Release - Great Fireball Technique)" She said as she released a giant ball of fire from her mouth.
The fireball made its way to Naruto, who just stood there, still smirking.
A gust of wind came from Naruto's body as it extinguished the ball of fire.
"Katon - Gōkakyū no Jutsu"
Another ball of fire came, but the voice was the brooding emo king's.
The fireball then suddenly ceased to exist.
Naruto turned around, still smirking.
"I'm gonna wipe that smirk right off your face," Sasuke said, seething his teeth. "Mark my words!"
With that Sasuke ran towards Naruto and threw a punch.
Naruto dodged, Sasuke followed with a roundhouse kick, and Naruto dodged.
Naruto opened his hand to a palm and placed it on Sasuke's chest.
*Boom*
He was sent flying black from a gust of wind that formed in Naruto's hand.
Serpent Hare Bird
"Raiton - Kaminari no zanshu no Jutsu (Lightning Release -Thunder decapitation technique)" Satsuki said as many needles of lightning surrounded Naruto.
They all rushed towards him at different times, Naruto just closed his — still smirking — he dodged them all, not a single scratch.
Naruto appeared behind Satsuki as he held a kunai to her neck.
"You have good potential, But you're wasting it," Naruto said.
"Cha!"
Suddenly, Naruto felt something tingle him.
He turned around to see Sakura punching him.
Ram Boar Dog Bird Hare
"Raiton - Shichū Shibari (Lightning Release - Four Pillar Bind)" Satsuki says as 4 columns of earth rise from the ground and a cage of lightning is made, locking them in.
Naruto's eyes widened… "A suicide technique…"
He looked up as he saw Sasuke weaving handseals.
Ram Horse Snake Dragon Rat Ox Tiger
"Katon - Karyū Endan (Fire Release - Fire Dragon Flame Bullet)" Sasuke said as he released a giant flaming dragon from his mouth, which made its way to the lightning prison.
Naruto's eyes filled with rage… "That shit used them… so he could pass and become my apprentice… or at least try to… I'm going to kill him"
Kakashi watched from a distance as he saw the Rage in Naruto's eyes. "So, Sasuke ordered them to bind Naruto, so he could make him 'bleed' but they would die in the process, Sakura agreed because she's basically a slave to him. And Satsuki… why did she agree?" Kakashi asked himself. "Naruto is pissed, so someone might end up losing an arm, or life"
"Fūton, Raiton - Tengoku no ikari, shokei bīmu (Wind release, Lightning release - Heavens rage, Execution beam)" Naruto whispered, as a pillar of crimson lightning erupted from him, then, a dragon of wind circled around it as it went to the heavens, making the skies turn dark.
Crimson lightning crackled everywhere.
"Okay that's enough," Kakashi said.
The skies became normal as everything else also became normal.
In a second, Sasuke was tied up to a pole, with an angry Kakashi glaring at him.
"What. We're. You. Thinking?" Kakashi asked in a deadly calm voice.
"Hn, they might as well die. They don't have any talent!" Sasuke said.
Suddenly, blood gushed out of Sasuke's mouth as Naruto punched him in the stomach, really, really hard.
"You made ordered your own sister, to commit suicide," Naruto growled.
"Tch, that's her use. She was born as a tool for me to use, and die saving me. Isn't that right, Onee-chan," Sasuke spat the last part with anger. He was jealous of how Itachi trained her and not him. How everyone said she was a prodigy but not him.
"... Hai…" Satsuki said.
Suddenly, they were all transported into a sewer.
A loud growl could be heard as it echoed through the sewer.
They looked and saw Naruto, he was sleeping, while behind him, was a gigantic fox with orange fur and nine tails.
Its crimson, black slitted eyes glared into their souls.
They were all scared. In Front of them was the mighty, Kyuubi no Kitsune, the demon that could destroy this village, and every other village, within minutes.
"One thing is pissing off a Jinchuuriki," The fox began. "The other is pissing off a Jinchuuriki who has befriended their Bijū," he growled.
They, except for Satsuki, gulped.
"It's my role, as the guardian of the savior, or destroyer of the world, to protect the child of prophecy, so. When you anger him. You anger me" The Kyuubi growled. "So watch what you do and say around him"
And then, they appeared in the real world, and saw Naruto glaring at them.
"What? Are you statues?" He asked.
"*Cough* anyways, you showed teamwork… in a very twisted way… so you pass. But remember, those who abound the mission are scum, but those who abound their comrades are worse than scum, remember that, Sasuke," Kakashi said.
