Chapter One Otherworldly

Allen is slowly trudging down the paths that lead from and to, that leads to the most hated school in existence. Walking home after debating to whether or not show up to that hated school, the school his late adoptive father enrolled him in. Why didn't he drop out of school then if he hated it so much? Simple, Mana. It was the last connection he has of him and so, Allen goes despite his hatred. But, after waking up to a hammer thrown at his head and nearly causing a concussion, Allen really didn't feel up to it. Coming with a quick decision, Allen turns and headed down on another path away from the school.

The path lead steeply down the hill of the cliffside in which the school is implanted on. Coming across a small encased cove, Allen sets down his bag filled to the brim with his books and journals, and most importantly HIS journal where he keeps his inner thoughts in. Allen sits down on a flat boulder next to his belongings and began to take out his journal and began to write down this morning's happenings. Once done, Allen looks up and gazes about the cove he had once discovered in his junior year about a year ago.

Steep stone walls enclosed the area, the walls itself covered with thick layers of moss and vines. Thick and beautiful vibrant green grass sprouted and littered the ground. And a small but beautifully crystal-clear lake set in the far south corner of the cove. Birds were chirping away cheerfully, bringing a smile to Allen's lips. Closing his eyes, Allen breathes in and out calmly. Laying down on the boulder he is sitting on, Allen glances up at the darkening sky and frowns.

"That's weird… wasn't it just morning ago?", Allen says confused.

Allen watches the sky turns from a light blue deigning it day to a light purple with the sun gone and replaced with the bright moon. No stars littered about. No wind. And no birds chirping away. Allen quickly sat up and looks around the area, more confused than afraid. A weird gut twisting feeling beginning in his stomach. Allen slowly stood up and slowly set himself in a defending crouch, silently thanking his master for his weird teachings.

What's going on?, Allen thought confusedly.

"Ah, you're kinda here early don't ya think?"

Allen whirls around readying his fist only to see a half man… half goat? Allen eyes widened into saucers, his jaw slackened. A thin framed body with hardly any muscles to accompany, was a boy with sandy hair pulled into two low twin tails with thick framed glasses covering his most of boyish charms but it wasn't what made Allen stood there in shock: Allen eyes were fixated on the boys' legs-er, well legs of a goat where the boy's natural legs should be.

"Johnny!"

Allen and Johnny jumped at the rather loud yell. Allen looks behind Johnny as Johnny turns around to meet the voice. A tall Australian man with spiked sandy hair came forth out of the lake, dry as a summer's heat wave. However, unlike Johnny, he looked normal enough. The tall Australian man marched up to Johnny with a tired scowl on his scratchy features.

"I know this is your first year but didn't I tell you to shift into your human form while in the human realm?", the Australian man says tiredly.

Johnny looks down at his legs and sweat dropped, looking back, Johnny swung his left arm up behind his head and nervously laugh.

"Oh, sorry Reever!", Johnny laughs nervously away.

Allen blinked. Then a thought occurred. Wait a minute… didn't that Reever guy came out the lake? And, did he said… human realm?, Allen thoughts couldn't be anymore through fully confused.

reever blinked and looked behind Johnny to see a dumbstruck Allen.

"Ah, you must be one of the new students. Your kinda early", Reever sighs tiredly.

Just then, sounds of buzzing talks surrounded the cove as waves young teens and older teens come forth from the cove's only entrance. Allen looks around even more confused than his brain can handle. the waves of teens were a mixture of every folklore creatures you can think of from the books. Allen pales when he saw horse-like man? Walking past by Allen.

"Ok, ok, ok, Allen, get a grip... You must be dreaming, yes?", Allen murmured to himself.

Allen raised his left hand and pinched his arm only to yelp in pain. A laugh sounded from behind him. Allen whirls around to see an Asian girl with black tinted green hair pulled into twin tails. Her heart-shaped face filled slightly with baby fat was framed by her neat bangs barely covering her violet eyes. All in all, she is rather beautiful for her age. Allen couldn't help think she could be a model.

"I know, it's surreal right? This is my second year to be honest but it's still feels like my first year", the girl chuckles goodhearted.

"E-Excuse me, but what's going on?", Allen asks, hoping to get answers.

the Asian girl looks confusedly up at Allen but before she could answer, Reever spoke up.

"Alright! That seemed to be all of you, listen up! To those who is their first year, we are going through a Realm Portal, it'll take you to the Supernatural realm. Once there, you are not to reveal your supernatural forms on school grounds unless it is for school related, got that!", Reever shouted to the murmuring crowd.

Alright everybody, line up!", Johnny calls out.

Slowly the masses filed up into a single line with Reever at the top and Johnny at the back of the line with Allen. Allen turns around to look for the girl but found Johnny behind him.

"Look there's gotta be a mistake! I'm not supposed to be here!", Allen hurriedly says as the line quickly dwindles as students jumped into the lake with a bright flash.

Johnny smiles and says, "Of course there isn't, there is a barrier here to blocks out humans from entering, which means your here for school!"

Allen blinks, "School?"

Johnny nods, "Yes, Black Order High for Beings of Supernaturals!"

"Eh?", Allen stutters out.

"In you go!", Johnny says as he pushed Allen into the lake.

Allen fell into the lake screaming as a bright flash of light engulfs him. The ground disappears and Allen felt as if he was traveling through space when all of a sudden, there was a crack, and Allen was staring up at the blue sky. A familiar was sounded again and a delicate hand appeared in front of Allen's face.

"Here."

Allen was then lifted up by the surprisingly strong Asian girl with twin tails. Then whirled around and spread out her arms in grand gesture to reveal a dark frightening castle settled on a cliff.

"Welcome to Black Order High for Beings of Supernaturals!"
