Now you may be wondering, why I'm rewriting my Lynncoln fanfic.. well it started like this...

- FLASHBACK -

*Rereading this story* I need to rewrite this story, it's what got me into posting FanFics online...

Lincoln Loud was currently walking down the sidewalk, he was meeting with his lovely sister... Lynn... He sighed, not wanting to think about her in any manner that wasn't... entirely inappropriate...

Recently he started to develop odd feelings for his sister, strong, emotional, and romantic feelings that no brother should feel for a sibling.

But he knew better than to act on them, of course.

"Just go ahead and expose me, huh?" Lincoln said with a roll of his eyes. He turned to the readers.

"Welcome back to my life, I guess. Haven't seen you guys in a while. I grew up a bit since we last saw each other. I'm 16 now, taller too! Taller than Lynn, she hates me for it. I got new clothes," He said as he posed for the readers, showing off black vans, gray pants, and an orange hoodie for the fall season.

"Leni designed it for me before she moved out and by design, I mean she put it together in seconds. Oh! Clyde and I have been working out!" Lincoln boasted as he flexed his muscles, although they weren't seen through the hoodie. "I'm pretty sure I'm making real progress." He said before beginning to walk towards the park again, the meeting location.

It was currently the afternoon, directly after school, he had received a text from his sister that he needed his help with something important. "Don't tell anyone" was an important topic of the text message.

"I wonder what she could want to tell me? I bet she got herself into some trouble." Lincoln said with a sigh, shaking his head. He wouldn't be surprised, honestly. "Maybe she wants my help and doesn't want anyone in the house to find out about it..." He theorized as he came upon the park, it was a giant park with a blacktop path that separated into several more paths that led to several playgrounds and picnic areas, they were all labeled with different colors.

"Take the orange path..." He said, rereading Lynn's message. He followed instructions and walked down the path.

Lynn was currently pacing in front of the picnic table she claimed, she had a bottle of whiskey, stolen from a football party, of course. The jocks were too drunk to notice when an entire bottle of whiskey disappears from the party table. The bottle was of course hidden inside her bag.

She then heard footsteps.

"Lynn?" Lincoln called for her as he saw her pacing in front of a picnic table. Quickly walking up to her, he asked. "Lynn, hey, what was so wrong that you wanted to meet with me alone?"

"Linc!" Lynn unintentionally shouted and hugged him, choking him in a bearhug and nearly knocking him out. A common occurrence in the Loud House.

"Oh hey Lynn, you're unnaturally close, huh?" Lincoln asked before Lynn tore herself away from him.

"Oh, yeah don't think about that. I wanna talk to you about something important," She said as she dragged him to the bench. They sat on either end of each other.

It was silent for a few minutes before Lynn cleared her throat.

"So, Lincoln, you dating anyone right now?" She asked, blushing red and almost sweating. 'Great way to start a conversation, Lynn!' She scolded herself as she wanted to tear her hair out. She couldn't be more awkward than now.

Lincoln raised an eyebrow at her out-of-character attitude and question. "Hm, no, not since Ronnie moved away to Great Lake City..." He said with a sigh, "I miss her, we had split about a few months ago, remember how sad I was?" He asked, thinking back to Ronnie and all the memories of her before shaking them off. "We still talk to each other though."

Lynn nodded, as that was actually good information. "Look Linc," She pulled out the bottle of Jack Daniels, "Want a drink? You're gonna need it."

"Where the heck did you get alcohol?!" He asked as he eyed the bottle... "Sure... I'd love my first drink to be with my sister." He said with a wide brimming smile.

Lynn felt her heart skip a beat at his words, although they held no meaning, not any that he truly intended anyways. "Ok... Listen, Lincoln," She started, handing him the bottle, "I don't know if you noticed anything but about a year ago or so, I started to see you in a different light."

"Is it cause you're short now? Am I blocking the sun for you now?" He teased as he took a small sip of the bottle before groaning. "God that's a name brand right there..." He coughed as Lynn snatched the bottle.

"Shut up!" She became red at the teasing, "Weak..." She took a larger swig of the alcohol than Linc, already being experienced in drinking from parties and other social gatherings. "Ahh..." She said, relieved before placing the bottle on the table.

"Anyway... Lincoln, you've been so nice to us, to me, for so long, even after so many times we made your life a living Hell, more often than not." She played with her fingers before leaning forward. "I just wanted to apologize for every bruise, scratch, and dodgeball to the face I gave you over the years... Especially the balls to the face..." The sports star looked off to the distance, simultaneously scouting the park for any patrolling officers or kids that'd recognize them.

Lincoln was speechless before reaching for the bottle again and taking a more confident swing of the whiskey. "You're right, you apologizing? This conversation does require alcohol." He said with a laugh before pushing the bottle away from him. "Definitely no more for me." He said, burping into his hand. "I can already feel it at work..."

Lynn laughed. "Yeah... you get used to it..." She said before sighing. "But Lincoln, I'm not done..." Lincoln nodded as she continued to speak her case.

"I am very sorry, but I can't hold myself back anymore, I tried to tell myself that it was all wrong and disgusting but I just... Can't anymore, the things I feel, I am sure that they are real, my feelings..." She said, being vague and mysterious and looking down.

"...You're not gonna tell me you're a serial killer right? And that you've brought me here to kill me right?" Lincoln asked as he eyed the bottle of whiskey, wondering if it was drugged and if that would be his last drink.

Lynn looked up with tears in her eyes before giggling slightly then snorting and slamming her head into the table, pounding the table with her fist as she began to laugh hysterically. "N- No you paranoid nerd!" She shouted in-between laughs before taking a deep breath, collecting herself completely, and sighing.

"No, Lincoln, I- I'm trying to say that... You're such a great person and that," She reached over and held his hands. "And that you made me fall for you, your caring nature, how you love everyone and defend your sisters no matter what the circumstance! That one time Lisa almost died and you ran into her room, grabbing her and Lily before the room blew!" She said as tears formed and started to spill down her cheeks.

Lincoln laughed at that. "Y- Yeah, I remember... Dad still has all her plutonium and nitroglycerin under lock and key in the basement safebox..." Lincoln said, scratching his head and blushing in embarrassment. Any good older brother would've saved his sister's life...

"Lynn... What are you trying to say?" He asked.

"Do I have to spell it out to you numbnuts?" She asked, face red with embarrassment. "I... LIKE you!" She shouted, looking around for any witness, before turning to him again. "More than a brother, more than I should, and I- I- I just... Don't know what to do with these feelings anymore! I can't keep bottling them up like this anymore, it's been tearing me up for so long! Ahh!" She clawed at her scalp before covering her face and laying her head down on the picnic table.

The sports star was an elite at a lot of things but it was obvious that emotions were certainly not one of them.

"I'm so messed up..." She groaned as she refused to look at her little brother, scared to see his reaction, maybe that it would be one of disgust and resentment? Maybe one of hatred and that he would tell their parents? She couldn't let him do that! Her head shot up to look at her brother but she just saw him downing the jack daniels.

"W- Whoa Linc, easy on that stuff." She reached and attempted to reclaim but Lincoln stopped her, holding a finger up to tell her, "Hold on".

After a second, he tore the bottle from his own lips and sighed.

"Ok, so I'm not dreaming..." He sighed, pinching himself to make sure.

Lynn took the bottle, drinking as well.

They were silent for a few moments, Lynn couldn't see Lincoln's face, seeing that it was obscured by his hair and he was looking off to the side.

"Are... Are you sure?" He asked at first, the question was silent.

"I am so sure of my feelings Linc, they've been festering for a year, now." She said with a shudder, it was getting cold and the clouds were blocking the sun.

Lincoln was silent for a few moments before sighing and leaning forward.

"Would you believe me, if I said... I had started to develop my own feelings for you, a while back?" He asked softly, reaching out and carefully holding her trembling hands. "Calm down Lynn, you're safe here with me..." He said softly.

Lynn narrowed her eyes at him before pulling away from him, taking her hands back, shoving them into her pocket.

"I would think, that, you wanted to spare my messed up feelings for you so you're lying to me..." Lynn said, looking off to the faraway playground in the distance, seeing teenagers and kids playing.

Lincoln was suddenly in front of her, kneeling.

"Lynn, I'm not kidding." He said softly, holding her hand tightly in his. "It was only recently that I started to feel the same way, but I'm sure they're real too... Unlike you, you actually acted on yours before I did... Honestly, I was just gonna die with them." He said as he burped into his hand, they both laughed at that. "But that whiskey sure is a loosener, huh?"He asked with a laugh.

"Does..." She held his hands, "Does that mean, you don't find me disgusting?"

"Only when you don't shower after a practice." He said, nudging her shoulder.

"Oh shut up!" She said with a giggle, wiping the tears from her eyes as she gave Lincoln a wide smile. He sat next to her, holding her close in a tight hug. Lynn hesitated before wrapping her arms around him too.

"...So what do we do from here?" She asked softly, clenching his hoodie in hand, burying her face in his shoulder.

"I say, we take it slow, plan a date, and figure out how to sneak past mom whilst smelling like booze." He said with a laugh.

"Oh right, you were downing that bottle like a sailor, Linc." She said, reaching over and grabbing the whiskey bottle, swirling the insides. she took another swig.

"Lynn!" He took the bottle away, "I'm not gonna kiss you if you reek like booze either."

"Seconds into forming a relationship and you're already cracking down on me?" She asked with a smile, leaning into him as the sky had now fully greyed over, the wind picking up as well. "Well, how about a sample of the product...?" She asked as she looked up at Lincoln.

Lincoln was currently a soft crimson at the question before shrugging. "S- Sure... Why not?" He said, holding her hand tightly as he leaned forward, closing his eyes. Lynn also leaned forward, wanting to take a bite of the low-hanging fruit.

"HEY! Lovebirds! You better be 21 when I get over there!" A sudden voice shouted out.

The two tore themselves away from each other and looked towards the source of the voice. It was of a Cop, he was flashing his badge.

Lynn quickly stood, grabbing her bag as she jumped over the table, grabbing the whiskey bottle as she jumped. "Scatter!" She shouted before bolting through the trees.

Lincoln took a second to react but quickly followed her example, slinging his bag over his shoulder. He followed after Lynn, trying his best to keep up but he wasn't a track star like her and while he wasn't slow, he sure as hell wasn't at her level of speed.

"STOP! POLICE!" The officer was chasing after them, but couldn't keep up with them, him being an older man on top of chasing teenagers in their prime.

Looking forward, Lincoln saw that Lynn was zooming forward, taking a more treacherous path, easily being able to jump stray roots and keep moving with ease. He huffed. He knew he should've taken her on her offer to take parkour lessons with her.

"How the hell does she even do that?" He asked himself, looking back, he saw the officer was actually gone. He sighed in relief, coming to stop and resting his hands on his knees.

"Freeze!" The Officer shouted, suddenly in front of Lincoln with his gun drawn. Lincoln held his arms in the air. "Don't do anything stupid kid, I know you and your girlfriend were drinking, I saw it." He said moving towards Lincoln. "Turn around, you're going down to the station, we're calling your parents." He said pulling out a pair of cuffs. Lincoln sighed as he turned around, dropping his bag and putting his arms behind his back, the officer slapping on the cuffs.

"Son, you have the right to remain silent, anything you say and do can and will- Hey what are you- Oof!" There was a loud thunk before the officer suddenly fell.

"You ok, Linc?" Lynn suddenly asked.

"Lynn? What did...?" Turning around, Lincoln saw the officer was knocked out, his hat no longer on his head with a small pool of blood forming around his head. Looking at Lynn, Lincoln saw that she was holding the Jack Daniels like a baseball bat, a small splatter of blood on the corner. She dropped the bottle, frisking the officer before finding the keys and unlocking Lincoln from the cuffs.

Lincoln was honestly speechless. How did it lead to this?

"Lynn... Is..." He crouched in front of the fallen officer. "Is he dead?"

"I- I don't know! I didn't know what to do, I panicked! I was thinking of what would happen if he found out we were related and how he would tell our parents!" She shouted crouching in front of the officer, shaking him. He groaned before falling silent again, she then checked his pulse, there was a beat, it was consistent, just like her coach taught her. "H- he'll be ok... Let's get out of here before he comes too!" Lynn suggested.

"W- We can't leave him like this!" Lincoln protested. He pulled out his phone to call someone, Lynn snatched his phone.

"Don't you watch TV?! They'll trace you!" Lynn said as she bit her nails before snapping her fingers, an idea. She reached down and grabbed his radio.

"Hello? Hello? Officer down, pass the trees at Royal Woods Community Park, near the Orange path!" She shouted quickly, making a voice.

The operator tried to get more info but Lynn already dropped the radio, disconnecting it.

"Do you think he'll be ok?" Lincoln asked, crouching in front of the officer. "Officer DePaul..." He said reading the name tag, holding it before standing up again.

When Lynn didn't answer, he looked towards her, she was staring at the officer with wide eyes. As if the weight of her actions were starting to come to her, at the worse time it would seem.

"Hey, hey, Lynn, it's ok... Come here..." She said, holding Lynn, placing her head on his chest. "You didn't mean to do this, it's OK... He's still breathing and..." Sirens were heard in the distance. "And help is in the way, he'll be fine... We need to get out of here."

Lynn held Lincoln's shirt and nodded, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"Y- Yeah, you're right... Let's get out of here before we're charged with assaulting an officer." She said with a joking manner.

The two quickly grabbed their items and left, putting their hoodies on as they ran back home.

It was late at night, Lincoln was laying in his bed, shirtless and in shorts, staring up at the ceiling fan spin, thinking of Lynn...

How she confessed her love and how moments later they knocked out an Officer in the woods with a whiskey bottle.

"Never a boring day in the Loud House..." He said softly to himself. Lincoln truly hoped that the Officer was ok, he was only doing his job.

Knock Knock

Looking towards his door, he saw Lynn, in her oversized sleeping shirt, it had her jersey number and name on it and her beautiful brown hair was down, hanging just past her shoulders.

"Hey... I couldn't sleep... I was thinking about today and was wondering if I can stay here tonight?" She said softly, she then looked him over. Lincon's body was rather well built, in her eyes, toned form and slowly developing abs and muscles, she blushed at the sight.

"Hm, you haven't done that since I was like, 12." He said, looking back at the ceiling.

"Yeah, but since we're gonna be..." She paused and walked in, closing the door behind her, not wanting anyone to listen in on them. "Since we're going to be dating, I thought it would be nice to start..." She paused again, "To start cuddling..." She was still blushing bright red. "O- Or, we don't have to... Since I'm 18 and you're still 16... It'd be weird, I'll go, never mind what I said!" She turned to leave, but Lincoln grabbed her arm.

"Lynn, first of all, I turn 17 in like, a few weeks, it doesn't matter," He said, mentioning his upcoming birthday. He then pulled her closer and into the bed with him, hugging her close to him, wrapping his arms around her waist, and leaning his chin on her shoulder. "And I- I'd absolutely love to cuddle with you..." He said softly, blushing just as brightly as Lynn.

Lynn smiled and leaned into Lincoln's arms, holding his arms for a moment.

"Lincoln..."

"Yeah, Lynn?"

"Thanks for... Thanks for not calling me gross or anything and wanting to actually try to see how this thing actually works out..." She said softly, shifting her position to be sitting in Lincoln's lap and looking up at him, she then punched in his arm. "And stop growing! I hate being shorter than you!"

Lincoln laughed and held her tighter, closer to him.

"Then start drinking your milk, more often,"

"That stuff is gross, only good in cereal," She said with a huff.

"Anyway..." He began, "Listen, Lynn, maybe I'm just as sick in the head as you, but what kind of brother would I be if I didn't give this thing of ours a try?" He asked softly with a laugh.

Their eyes met, Lincoln could see fear and even nervousness in Lynn's eyes... Lynn herself could see hope in Lincoln's eyes, she smiled at that. He was still the same after all this time, a hopeful kid with a positive outlook on life.

"Never change, Linc," She said, placing a hand on his cheek and leaning up, closing her eyes.

Lincoln blushed and took a deep breath, exhaling through his nose before he leaned forward, closing his eyes as well.

The kiss felt awkward at first, more like lips just pressing against each other but they quickly fell into each other comfort as they eased up, releasing their tension and actually kissing. The simple first kiss turned into a makeout session rather quickly, Lynn running a hand through his white hair and clutching it between her finger, tugging it.

"Ah," Lincoln pulled away, "Don't pull so hard Ronnie, I thought- Oops, sorry! I didn't mean that!" He said quickly.

Lynn gave him an amused look before giggling and giving his cheek a kiss.

"I'll forgive you this time, don't let it happen again, understand?" She asked, pulling his hair playfully again, she leaned forward and began kissing him again.

"Yes ma'am," He said in between kisses as he held closer and they kissed into the night.

Unbeknownst to them, a little dark ghost was watching them from above, in the vents, shocked beyond belief at the sight before her.

"I can't... I can't believe it..." Lucy said, mouth and eyes wide. "Lynn... That... That BITCH!" She said before covering her mouth and moving away from the grate.

"Huh? Did you hear someth-" Lincoln began but was quickly smothered by Lynn bringing him back down to the bed.

"No, now keep kissing me~"

Lucy looked through the vent again and scowled with contempt at Lynn.

"How dare she..." She whispered to herself, biting her nails in stress, "I'll keep watching... Just to make sure they don't go too far..." She said as she watched the scene, silently plotting revenge.

Lucy Loud will not take this sitting down.

The park was closed off from the public, NEWS vans were parked around the area as they tried to get an understanding of what happened from any officers who were holding the crowd and reporters away.

A baby blue car pulled up to the quickly forming sight.

The person inside sighed as she took a sip of her coffee and turned her attention back to the call she was on.

"I'll talk to you later, baby, love you," They said as they climbed out of the car and cut through the crowd, shouting for them to get out of the way. She eventually got to the front of the line and came face to face with a Latino police officer.

"Sorry Ma'am, can't let you through, this is a crime scene, and-"She paused when the person flashed her badge, a detective shield. "Oh, Detective! Sorry about that, I didn't see your badge, come right through," The officer lifted up the tape and let the Detective into the crime scene.

"Thanks, officer," She said.

The Detective walked deeper into the crime scene, she walked past the orange path bench, and into the trees, seeing more officers and the guys from Forensics moving around. She looked down at the tarp that was covering the body in the middle of it all.

"Detective!" A rookie officer ran up to her, "Glad you came in all the way from Great Lakes City, murder doesn't usually happen in our small town, especially to one of our own."

"Happy to help," She said, "Besides, this is my hometown, the minute my captain mentioned the case, I jumped into my car and drove all the way down here," She said as she went over to the body and crouched in front of it, lifting the tarp, "What's the case?" She said, inspecting the body.

"Oh! Uhm," The rookie cop pulled out their notepad, "Officer DePaul, he was making the rounds when he was seen chasing a pair of teenagers, or so some witnesses say, he followed them into the woods and was donked in the head with this bottle," the rookie then presented the Detective with the bagged Jack Daniels bottle. "Forensics counts two sets of prints on this bottle and the Officers blood in the corner, we'll know more about it later, but I'm pretty sure this is the murder weapon."

"We're missing a gun," The Detective said, noticing the department-issued firearm wasn't in its holster, "And who found the body?" She asked, lowering the tarp.

"An officer," The rookie responded, quickly adding a missing gun to their notes.

"Another cop found it?"

"More like, the culprits called the station and reported an officer down from DePaul's radio, which I don't understand," The rookie said, admitting their confusion.

"I don't think... That the killers wanted to actually hurt Officer DePaul... They were just trying to get away from him, at first." The detective concluded. Looking around, she spotted something, she slipped on a pair of leather gloves and reached over, picking up a pair of handcuffs from the ground, overlooked evidence.

"Maybe one of the teenagers got caught by the Officer, that's why these are on the ground and not his belt. I do see a set of prints leading here and stopping, another is coming from that way-" She pointed, "The second person most likely delt the blow with the bottle... They must've really close to each other if one was willing to strike an officer to free the other," She said before sighing and standing up again. "What I just don't understand is why?"

"What do you mean, Detective?" The Rookie asked.

"Well, the teenagers were just drinking Whiskey in the park, right? I understand the running away but why be driven to kill...? These kids were doing something they really didn't want anyone to know about. Maybe they were dating and they didn't want their parents to find out, maybe they had something else on them, like drugs. Either way, we need to find these kids, fast."

"Wow..." The rookie was amazed at the City Detective's vigilant and astute mind. "You really are good at this," They complimented, "No wonder chief called your precinct all the way in Great Lakes City for help... What did you say your name was?"

"Please, I'm just doing my job... And you can call me Detective Loud, Lori Loud..." Lori introduced herself with a smile, putting her hands into her pockets.
