Letters From Willow Creek Part 1
One cool spring day in Fort Greene Brooklyn New York, Estella Fernandez came into the Bodega with two letters in her hand.
The letters were from Willow Creek Virginia, Alex Fernandez and Gaby Fernandez had pen pals who lived there.
Gaby's pen pal was Phil Marsten, while Phil's girlfriend, Stevie Lake was one of Alex's many female pen pals.
First, Estella knocked on Gaby's door.
"One moment please!" Gaby called.
"You have another pen pal letter from Phil, Gabriella!" Estella called through the door.
Gaby put her diary away and opened her bedroom door.
"Thanks, Mamá." Gaby said, taking her letter.
A few minutes after reading their letters, Alex and Gaby met in the space between their bedrooms.
"Gaby, I think we should call the rest of the team." Alex said.
Gaby thought about what Alex had said.
"Agreed, Alex," Gaby said. "we should rally."
"I'll call it, Gaby," Alex said. "but I'll call the rally in the park."
"Good call, Alex." Gaby said.
Alex and Gaby were on their way outside the front door to the store.
When suddenly, their father stopped them.
"Ah-ah-ah, where do the two of you think you are going?" Eduardo asked his son and daughter.
"Can Gaby and I please go to the park, Papá?" Alex asked.
"Is it for fresh air and excerise?" Eduardo asked out of curiosity.
"Yes." Alex answered his father.
"And, to spend time with our friends." Gaby added.
"Very well," Eduardo said to Alex and Gaby. "you may go to the park."
