Mokona is not left alone often. Mokona supposes that it's natural, being the group's only translator, storage, way to keep in contact with Yuuko, way to travel and also because of Mokona's natural charm and coolness.
That's why sometimes Mokona likes to be alone for a little while, while Mokona's friends are sleeping or busy doing something else with cars or swords or big stone puzzles.
Sometimes Mokona wanders away a little, far enough to find a little pool of water in a puddle, a pond, a sink, a bowl, and talks to Larg.
It's always nice to talk to Larg- no one else knows what Soel feels more than Larg. Larg is different to Soel but also very good to talk to and Soel misses them a lot.
But sometimes, a very small sometimes, when Larg is asleep too or busy or Mokona really doesn't feel like talking to anyone, even Larg, Mokona will go and do a little exploring.
Mokona likes the feeling of landing in a new world, the freshness of a forest Mokona has never been in or the strange smell of a new city, just waiting to be uncovered.
Mokona likes even more the feeling of being alone, sitting under a really big leaf, as big as Kurogane's hand, no, bigger, and listening to the plinking and plonking of rain drops on the leaf and on the ground and the taste in the air, nothing like cake but just as tasty.
Mokona likes the green a lot and the way the wood smell reminds Mokona of home and sitting in the old storage cupboard and dreaming of travelling next to Larg.
Sometimes Mokona splashes a puddle just a little bit, even though it makes Mokona's fur wet and Mokona has to dry off later, just because the splishing sound is good and Mokona doesn't get to spend much time listening to rain fall when the humans all want to travel. The slowness is good and Mokona likes it the same as all the moving about and running Mokona does with Mokona's friends but it's more special to Mokona because Mokona doesn't get to do it as much, just like being alone.
