The entire Scout Regiment had been caught in an ambush while on an expedition to take back Wall Maria. The Beast Titan had appeared out of nowhere along with an army of Titans. The Scouts fought back as best they could, unfortunately their soldiers we're being mutilated left and right.
Commander Erwin ordered the remaining Scouts to retreat to the base of the wall.
Captain Levi began to explain the dire situation they we're in.
"You could tell what's left of Hange's group to run away on horseback. They won't have much of a chance, but they'll be decoys. They can give Eren a shot at escaping."
"Tell me, how would you fit into this plan?" Erwin asked.
"I'm gonna go after the Beast Titan. I'll draw him away somehow and..."
"You can't," Erwin intterupted, "You won't even make it near him."
Levi continued, "Probably not, but if you and Eren make it home alive, there will still be hope. All things considered I feel like it's the best we can ask for. We've been brutalized. To be honest sir, it seems like this battle is where the Scout Regiment gets finished off."
"Yes, if we had no way to fight back then you would be right." Erwin said, then "And you do," came a voice behind them.
Both Captain Levi and Commander Erwin turned to see a man with shaggy blue hair and a red tattoo across his right eye. He wore a long dark blue cloak that flapped in the wind. He also wore a long sleeve top with long pants that tucked into his black boots, which were rimmed with golden yellow at the bottom.
"Who the hell are you?" Captain Levi asked.
"My name is Jellal Fernandes," the man put simply, "And I'm gonna take down the Beast Titan."
"Your gonna do WHAT?!" Erwin exclaimed, with nothing but shock and confusion painting his features.
Captain Levi stared at Jellal, a look of skepticism on his face, "If our previous attempts to engage the Beast Titan have failed, then what the hell makes you think you can take his big furry ass down?"
Just as Jellal was about to answer, a wave of crushed boulders came flying at them. Jellal extended his right arm outwards and the boulders froze in mid-air. He then closed his hand into a fist and every single boulder turned to dust, sprinkling harmlessly to the ground.
"Woah," Commander Erwin muttered, eyes wide.
Jellal looked back at Captain Levi, "Now, is there anything else you would like to say, Captain Levi?" Jellal asked, leaving the Captain utterly speechless.
After a few seconds, Levi sighed and looked to Commander Erwin, who briefly looked out to where the Beast Titan was, then back to Captain Levi.
He then looked directly at Jellal, "Do it,"
As Jellal readied himself to battle with the Beast Titan, he put up a magic barrier to protect the Scouts from future waves of crushed boulders and the after effects of his powerful spells. Jellal activated his meteor spell, shooting toward the Beast Titan and the new wave of crushed boulders headed straight for him. He stretched out his arm and activated a gravity wave that smashed all the boulders together. Then, he activated another one of his many spells and sent thousands of light beams shooting towards the Beast Titan at lightning speed. This however, was merely a distraction to throw the Beast Titan off guard.
Back at the base of the wall, Captain Levi, Commander Erwin, and the rest of the Scouts watched in awe. Then, out of nowhere, a woman with Scarlet red hair appeared and slashed her sword at one of the closet Titans.
Wait a minute, who is that? Erwin thought, while watching the woman as she fought with the fury of animal gone mad.
Jellal then brought out a beautifully crafted sword that shined in light of day, and enchanted a fairly large amount of magic power into it. He then gave the Beast Titan a truely terrifying death glare that shook Zeke to his very core.
"You are dead, Zeke Yeager!" Jellal shouted, the fury of the sun burning inside him.
The Heavenly Body Mage came in at lightning speed and with one swift motion, cut the head of the Beast Titan clean off, completely exposing Zeke Yeager inside as his Titan body slammed to the ground.
"NOW ERZA!" Jellal screamed, and the Scarlet haired woman, now dressed in what looked like regular clothes, equipped with a single sharp blade, came through with the speed of a bullet, and sliced Zeke's head clean off. She landed gracefully just a few feet away from a decapitated Zeke Yeager.
"Well, the Beast Titan and Zeke Yeager are dead," she said to Jellal as he landed beside her, "What should we do Jellal?"
He simply replied with, "We kill all the remaining Titans."
"What?! But how, even your Grand Chariot spell can only take out a few at a time!" Erza exclaimed.
"I won't be using that spell," Erza suddenly realized. Jellal was about to use the ancient spell "Fairy Law".
" Jellal, you might not have enough magic power to cast the spell."
"That's why I'll need to use yours as well."
Erza gasped, then a look of determination crept onto her face, "Anything for you, my love." she said, pulling Jellal into a passionate kiss, and transfered all of her magic power into his body.
As they kissed, a beautiful purple glow encased both of them and shined with the light of a burning star. When the light faded, Jellal and Erza pulled back from their kiss, and bid each other good luck as they split off. Erza made a beeline for the wall, using her enhanced speed ability.
"What the hell is going on out there?" Commander Erwin said aloud.
"Something big," came another voice that caught the Commander's attention.
It was a woman with Scarlet red hair and piercing brown eyes. Her breasts were wrapped tightly with bandages and she also wore long pants with a flame design at the bottom.
"Jellal is about to release an ancient spell called " Fairy Law", so I'm warning you all to take cover in the wreckage of these nearby buildings." The Scarlet haired woman instructed.
The Commander, Captain, and the remaining Scouts were hesitant, but obediently follow the woman's orders, and took cover in the nearby damaged structures, hoping they would hold up for just a little bit longer.
Commander Erwin, Captain Levi, Erza Scarlet, and the remaining Scouts watched as Jellal readied himself to cast the ancient spell.
Jellal brought his hands together and the sky began to glow a beautiful golden yellow. He crossed his arms at the wrists and the golden glow began to encase all of the remaining Titans. He then brought both his arms out to his sides, his hands glowing the same golden yellow as he uttered the words, "I can't this spell in the name of justice, upon all my enemies," Jellal finally brought his hands back together in a clapping motion, "FAIRY LAW!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, fully activating the ancient spell.
The light from the sky grew brighter and brighter, causing everyone to shield their eyes. Once the light receded, Commander Erwin saw that every other Titan had been vaporized.
"Wow, I-I'm speechless" he uttered, looking over at Erza, who simply smiled and said, "That sir, is FairyTail's true power."
Just after Erza had made that statement, she heard a shuffling noise and turned to see Jellal behind her. He looked weak, but he kept a smile on his face, for her sake. Erza sprinted towards him and caught the man in a heartwarming embrace.
"You did it, Jellal."
"That I did," he whispered, before collapsing into Ezra's arms. The requip-mage slowly sat down and propped herself up against one of the damaged houses' walls, pulling Jellal closer. The blue haired mate's head rested on her shoulder.
"Is he okay?" the Commander asked.
Erza looked up at Erwin and said, "Yes, he's okay, just exhausted." She looked down at the Heavenly Body Mage, now smiling in his sleep. Erza smiled and placed a loving kiss on his head, as she too began to drift off.
The Commander quietly lead Levi over to another nearby structure, just out of earshot, and began to discuss with him what just happened.
"I can't believe there are actually people with this kind of power that live in the same world as we do. It's amazing."
"Well, I'm not sure about this Erwin, what if they're just more Titan Shifters trying to sabotage our mission." Levi said.
"Levi, what the hell? You really think that two extremely powerful magic users would willingly put their lives on the line if they were enemy Titan Shifters?" Erwin asked, a bit shocked at Levi's reply.
The Captain looked over at the sleeping Fairy Tail wizards and sighed, "Alright, I guess I misjudged them, I'm just naturally non-trusting around new people. It's what kept me alive when I lived down in " The Underground"."
"Levi, I know it's hard for you to accept new people, but you have to at least try." Erwin said with a comforting tone lacing his voice.
Levi looked back at Jellal and Erza once more, then back up at his commanding officer, "Okay, I'll try."
