Summary: Our favorite girl Mallory goes on a date with the Darkling.
"Oh Darkling! I'm sooooo happy to see you!" Mallory called.
"And I you, Mallory," Darkling purred. "I've longed so badly for your presence."
"OMG! You're making me blush, Darkly!" Mallory placed her hand on the Darkling's shoulder with one hand and twirled her hair with the other. She batted her eyelashes at him. Her love for him was almost...toxic.
The Darkling looked at Mallory darkly. "Kiss me, my darling"
"Okay, my Darkling!" Mallory then threw her arms around Darkling's neck and smashed her lips against his. He traced her lip with his tongue, begging for entrance. She obliged. Their tongues battled for dominance.
"Ew, that's toxic," a random passerby shouted at them, sadly breaking apart the battle of tongues.
"I need coffee. Now," the Darkling told Mallory.
Mallory smiled up at the Darkling and entwined her fingers through his before she led him to the nearest coffee shop which just happened to be across the street. It was called COARSE.
They went inside. They walked up to the barista, E.L. James. But not that E.L. James. Another one. "What do you want now?" E.L. groaned.
"I want coffee. Black. Like my soul," the Darkling said darkly as he wrapped his fur cape around Mallory, whose boots also had fur.
Mallory looked up at the Darkling and batted her eyelashes. "What about me?" Mallory mewled.
"She'll have the same. Black. Like her soul," the Darkling told E.L. who just looked at them like they were crazy.
Probably because they were, but that didn't mean E.L. was going to comment about their relationship in public because honestly she didn't get paid enough to have to deal with all that drama. Although, perhaps she should harass everyone in the coffee shop because now they were all somehow involved in the toxic relationship. But again, she didn't get paid enough for that. SO SHE KEPT HER MOUTH SHUT AND KEPT LIVING.
The Darkling and Mallory drank their coffee. They then went to her place to get their freak on.
