A butterfly landed on Katara's nose, it made her sneeze and then it flew away.
Aang and Katara were walking home from school, They were both in their Junior year of highschool, and Katara had secretly had a crush on Aang, and she had slowly been building up courage to ask him if he felt the same…
I have a question
"Hm?" Aang looked her way
it might seem strange..
How are your lungs?
are they in pain?
cause mine are aching
Think I know why
"She glanced at him, a smirk forming on her face from nerves."
"Wait are you ok?" Aang asked all of a sudden, his face full of worry.
"O-oh, yeah im fine dont worry." Katara frantically responded, scolding herself.
I kinda like it tho
you wanna try?
She stepped in front of him with her hands behind her back.
Aang's face turned red and he blushed from how close she was.
She grabbed his hands.
She began to spin him around in the field they were working through.

She let go then and looked him in the eyes, smiling reminiscently now.

She used her waterbending to mess with some bushes.

A bunch of butterflies sprung from the bush and surrounded them, one landed on Katara's hand, and another on Aang's nose, who was still in a state of wonder, which made her chuckle.

Katara was broken from her daydream when she heard the bell for the next class to start as she sat down in her seat for art class next to Aang, she would do it today… she would!
She then realized he was looking at her with a weird face mixed with confusion and laughter.
"Katara, are you alright?"
"Oh, yeah sorry" she chuckled embarrassingly.
She then noticed something he was drawing in his notebook… was… was that her?

She peaked over at the drawing, it was amazing, it was definitely her… had he drawn her before?
He then caught her looking.
She jumped back slightly, rubbing her neck from embarrassment, "Oh sorry! I didn't mean to-
oh, where are your manners?

He shifted the book over to her so she could see better, he looked up at her and smiled, and of course she smiled back and examined the drawing closer.
They were now in their bending course, she was practicing using her waterbending to prop herself up on a tower 20 feet up in the air.
But then she saw Aang in the distance practicing some Airbending moves…

She began to fall because she lost concentration from looking at him.

Aang saw her falling in the distance and zoomed across the room to catch her and she landed in his arms.

They both realized the situation and she jumped out of his arms as he jumped away at the same time, both their faces turning a pink hue.
They both realized at the same time the others' reactions and looked back at each other…
And began laughing.

As they were both laughing, Aang then looked at her lovingly, and smiled realizing something.
Katara was walking home toward bending practice the next day, reminiscing about some of her and Aang's memories.

They were both out at night bending in the lake, having fun, play fighting.

She was then knocked out of her thoughts as she heard Aang running up to her.
He then passed her, running on to practice his bending, he always seemed focused on that and she admired that about him, but it made her a little sad he didn't wait up for her...

She grew frustrated with both herself and him, and she began to walk the other direction.
He looked back at her, realizing his mistake.

He was now running back up to her with determination but she was still walking, she turned around after hearing him and paused, which caused him to run into her.
They both fell on the ground with Aang over her.

She looked up at him and blushed intensely, he looked up at her and smiled his famous awkward little smile.
"Cuz I like you"
"But that's not enough"
"So if you will
Please fall in love with me."
She then lunged forward at those words and kissed him, broke away and smiled, he laughed back, got up and offered her his hand as they walked off to practice some bending together.
So... Im not really sure what this is? I wanted to write something short and sweet and I think I did alright... its my first song fic so I wasn't exactly sure how to approach it so here you go!
Reviews would be appreciated seriously... give me feedback on this because I might do more in the future this was pretty fun.
