Note: I've been thinking about the second season and I'm over here thinking, what would happen if Amy joined with the second generation, instead of the Frontier team? This is only a two (maybe three) multi shots, so I thought I should give it a shot.

The New Chosen Child Of Trust
Part 1
Normal POV
In Digital World...
Gaomon is over in his village, helping his fellow villagers with the group of Wanyamon, being them maintain and trying not to get separated from each other when he saw a fellow Gaomon of his running up to him.
"Gaomon," It was a female with a pink bandana around her forehead. "You should come with me and see this."
"See what, Lady Gaomon?" He asked her, watching her grab his gloved paw and began being dragged away. "Whoa, slow down!"
"This is no time to waste!" She called over. "We need to hurry before the Digimon Emperor finds it!" As the duo made it into the woods, Lady Gaomon bought her friend to a small hole of a tree.
"What is it you wanted me to see?" Gaomon asked her.
"It's in there." She points to it. "Inside the hole. Something's calling out." That made his golden eyes confused as he walk over to the hole and lean down to look inside.
When he did, he saw a small light landed on something. Something appeared to be a totem looking Digi-Egg of a teal armored warrior with silver wings being folded over and has a familiar Paw Print that he's very familiar with. Like his female friend said, something's calling out, calling out to him.
"It has the Crest of Trust." He said, glancing over at his friend. "Stay in the village, I need to find Tentomon and give him a message to Akane. Whatever you do, don't let anyone come out, we can't risk them being capture by the Digimon Emperor."
"What about the Digi-Egg?" She asked him. Gaomon went ahead gather some few leaves and twigs to hide the egg from the human boy.
"Now he won't know." He said as the two Gaomon look at each other and they split up with Gaomon going to find Tentomon. What he didn't know is that a certain green worm was in hiding in the bush and knows where the egg is hidden.
"Tentomon!" Gaomon called out for his friend. "Tentomon, where are you?" He growled till his golden eyes landed on his friends, Agumon and Gabumon. "Agumon, Gabumon!" The duo heard a voice as they look over and saw their good friend running up to them. "Hey, have you two seen Tentomon?"
"Not this yesterday." Gabumon answered.
"What's the matter? You look like you've seen a ghost." Agumon said.
"Not a ghost, Agu," Gaomon said. "A Digi-Egg. I need to find Tentomon, so we can have him send a message to Akane and tell her to come to the Digital World right away. Before the Digimon Emperor gets his hands on it. It has the Crest of Trust." That made the duo gasped at the information.
In the Real World, in school...
In the computer lab, lies a young girl in a girl's green uniform that the ninth graders are wearing, who has a sky blue bandana on her head and her eyes are focus on a book report she's working on for her English class. That young girl happens to be Akane Haruno, the Digidestined of Trust. She been back to Odaiba for about a week now and hasn't seen her teammates yet since three years ago after her adventures with them in Digital World.
She even heard from Izzy about three new Digidestined have joined the team and found themselves couple of Digi-Egg that represents the Crests.
Davis Motomiya became the new protege of Courage and released a blue Dragon Digimon named Veemon. Yolei Inoue became the new protege of Love and released a red hawk named Hawkmon. Cody Hida became the new protege of Knowledge and released a golden yellow armadillo named Armadillomon. Even TK and Kari also found their Digi-Egg that represents their Crests and all five Digimon have digivolved into a whole new level of Digivolution.
"Big cuz?" She heard a voice when she look over and saw a young girl who look like herself, except the young girl has bright blue eyes behind her glasses and has really dark brown shoulder length hair with a white bandana on her head. She's wearing a gray opened hoodie with a teal tshirt underneath that shows a white Paw Print in the middle, a pair of black cargo caprice and wearing the school's white shoes when she came in.
"Hey, Amy." Akane greeted her. "What's up?"
"Why are you in here by yourself? I thought you went to go look for your friends." Amy said after she sat down next to her cousin.
"They're busy doing their own thing, thanks to Izzy who sent me a message." Akane said. Well, technically, she lied to her cousin, because she doesn't really want to see them, at least not yet. "Right now, I'm working on my English homework that's due in two weeks, so I need to get it done before then."
"Oh, okay." Not until the duo heard a beeping sound, coming from Akane's bag as she reaches for it and saw her Digivice is acting up.
"What in the world? Is Gao in danger?" The older girl went ahead log into the computer to open up the gate, thanks to Izzy for teaching her few things while she was in America. As soon she did, she saw not only her partner, but her favorite Digimon friends, Agumon, Gabumon and Tentomon with him. "Hey, hey, you guys long time no see."
"Akane!" They all greeted.
"Welcome back." Gabumon greeted.
"Thanks, Gabu. What's up, fellas?" Gaomon came on screen.
"Akane, you need to come to Digital World, there's something I need to show you." He and the other Digimon notice the young girl next to her. "Oh, I didn't know you have someone with you."
"That's okay," Amy appeared on screen and waves at the four Digimon. "This is my baby cousin I told you guys about, Amami."
"Call me Amy for short, it's finally nice to meet you guys." Amy greeted with a grin.
"She look like you, Akane." Agumon complimented.
"We get that alot." The two cousins said in unison.
"Is Izzy with you, Akane? So, we can get you come into the Digital Gate with one of the kids' new Digivice." Tentomon said.
"Oh, that's right," Akane said. "Izzy told me the second generation have new Digivice that only allowed to open up the portal." She frowns. "Apparently, I haven't seen them since they're busy right now."
"Do you want us to go find our partners?" The Haruno cousins heard a sweet voice as they look over and Amy gasped at the sight of a group of small Digimon. Only three are in their In-Training forms while Akane is familiar with the other two. One in Rookie form as a flying hamster and the other is actually in Champion form as a white humanoid cat.
"Akane, welcome back!" The duo shouted as they jumped onto her.
"Gatomon! Patamon!" Akane laughed as she held them in her arms and hugs them. "Ohh, it's so good to see you guys again, I've missed you."
"We've missed you, too, Akane." Patamon giggled.
"We heard what's going on," Gatomon said. "Kari and the others should be coming here during their break soon, so we can head to the Digital World to take down more of the Control Spires." Akane's eyes widen at the information.
"Control Spires?" That was from Amy when everyone look up at her. "What are those?"
"They're black towers that were created by a human boy, calling himself the Digimon Emperor." That was from one of the In-Training forms, a little cute blue and white baby Dragon with bright red eyes looking up at Amy.
"These guys are DemiVeemon, Poromon and Upamon." Patamon introduced Akane and Amy to the three new Digimon.
"Hey, yeah, Izzy also told me about them," Akane said. "They were released from the kids' Digi-Eggs, right?"
"That's right." Gatomon said, then looking over at Amy. "Who are you, by the way?" Causing Amy to giggle and Akane roll her eyes.
"Gato, this is my baby cousin I told you guys about during our old adventures," The older cousin said while the young one smiles.
"It's nice to meet you guys, I'm Amy." She greeted with Poromon landed in her arms.
"Nice to meet you, too, Amy." He said, which it made Amy grins at him.
"Akane," Akane look back at her partner. "It's regarding of a Digi-Egg, this Digi-Egg I've found has your Crest on it." Causing the Digimon from the lab gasp at the information.
"Another Digi-Egg been found?" Upamon asked after jumping onto the desk, with DemiVeemon following along.
"Yeah, we need to hurry, so the Digimon Emperor won't find it." Gaomon said. Akane and Amy look at each other, then the older girl look back at her partner and friends.
"Agu, go with Gao and head back to the village and guard the Digi-Egg. Tento and Gabu, keep on the look out for anything suspicious in the area, help Gao protect his villagers, okay? Do your best till we get there."
"You got it, Akane." The boys said in unison and the screen went blank.
"I never thought I would have a Digi-Egg." Akane said, looking over at Amy and the Digimon.
"Look like you're joining with the second generation, Akane." Amy said with a small grin.
Akane knew how much her cousin wants to become a Digidestined after all the stories she told her during her time in America. No matter how many times she tells it to her, Amy couldn't help it being excited to listen to her older cousin and telling her that she wants to become a Digidestined one day.
There's no way the Digi-Egg belongs to her, would it? Izzy mentions that Kari and TK also found a Digi-Egg of their own, representing their Crests and Patamon and Gatomon manage to armor digivolve into Pegasusmon and Nefertimon. Before then, the three new kids, Davis, Yolei and Cody did become her friends' protege, because when they each released three new Digimon that been sleeping for a long time.
Turns out to be the three little In-Training forms in front of her. She look up at her cousin, she made her decision.
"You're coming with us, Amy." Akane tells her, hearing her cousin gasp. "I don't think the Digi-Egg belongs to me. If Tai, Izzy and Sora have protégé of their own, then I have a feeling you're becoming mine, you're becoming a new Digidestined."
In Digital World, in the Digimon Emperor's lair...
"Do they really think they're going to hide the Digi-Egg from me?" The Digimon Emperor chuckled. "I don't think so. Once I have my minions going after it and attacking Gaomon's village, that Digi-Egg will be mine."
