Episode 1: Naryu's Love

Sailing the high seas, fighting ferocious lobsters above a boiling pot. Nothing could be more dangerous than this right?

Or so thought Link the greatest explorer in all of hyrule. Courageous, smart, intuitive and a survivalist he knew he could take on any challenge that came his way.

"Look it is the ruins of the zora fortress, once upon a time this was the sight of a great battle, many upon many zoras fell during their civil war" looking closer with the binoculars link spots several entrances.

Tossing his binocular back it fell within a box filled with equipment he utilized during expeditions. "Link I'm making fried octopus with mackerel sashimi" spoke his assistant/wife/cook/manager/breeder/librarian/the list goes on.

"Aha that would be splendid, keep the ship afloat honey" diving towards the water his wife malon giggled as she went back inside their ship.

Not even a minute inside the water and our explorer link found himself in the clutches of danger. A harpoon flew out of the shadows grazing his arm. Alarmed Link searched for the source while swimming towards cover.

There! A figure swam with dazzling speeds, unable to turn fast enough our hero was slammed square in the chest by this foe. Pushing him down the enemy slammed him against a body of corals where many fishes and crustaceans swam away.

Bubbles flew from the heroes mouth blinding his foe. A powerful hook caught them in the jaw, a body blow, two jabs to their throat and a haymaker sent them spiraling towards the sea floor.

A sand cloud rose, diving inside our hero was sent back by a sucker punch which caught him unaware. Sailing slowly and dominantly was his greatest nemesis in the whole world.

"Ganondorf"

"Link"

This brought many memories to the explorer oh yes, four years ago they were fighting at the deku kid's leaf bed, both had been shrunk by the curse and were forced to battle a feisty rat.

"You are still seeking the secrets of Naryu? You should give it up!" Chuckling Link crouched down confusing his rival. When suddenly a massive claws closed in on Ganondorf.

Alarmed he held his arms out stopping the claws from snapping shut. "Have fun Ganondorf!"

"Darn you Link I'll get you for this!" Swimming away the blonde hero ignored the cries of rage and the ensuing battle behind him.

Entering through a gap the inside of the fortress was filled with life. Fishes and amoebas were happily hanging about. But this wasn't the explorers true objective oh not even close.

Passing through long fallen corridors, spacious barracks and finally a massive main hall. Link had arrived at his destination, the Queens bed chamber.

This was the only room where a faint glow emanated, a colorful light that came from a necklace Perched on the wall where it was undisturbed for more than a hundred years.

His heart was screaming and his senses of adventurer knew this was a trap...however he became the man he is by taking greater risks.

Shooting forth he swam with all his might entering the glow his body felt as if it was being purged of any and all evil incense.

The closer he came Link realized what the true nature of this amulet was.

"Naryu's love..." He whispered as he swam inches away from the object. Taking a moment to look around he could see it was thanks to this treasure that the entire fortress had become a sanctuary.

Removing it now could mean the destruction of the eco system the death and possibly extinction of many submarine species. The beautiful stairs which were filled with many fishes was a sight coming straight out of a painting.

And so with a now clear mind Link decided there were treasures with far more value and less destruction.

Fetching several diamonds he swam through a window, his long time rival was in a tight spot as he was now surrounded by the mighty horde of crustacean knights. Fetching a crossbow from inside his blue suit Link aimed carefully before firing.

The glistening silver hook cut into Ganondorf's backpack, pulling the man away just in time he was saved from two massive claws which would crush him in a second.

Surprised to see his nemesis lending a hand Ganondorf also knew when to give thanks. "I am grateful nemesis, but why would you save me?" He asked lost to the meaning of this gesture.

"Come on now Ganny you know having a rival is part of what makes this life exciting"

Smirking Ganondorf swam behind his nemesis, reaching the surface they were greeted by their ships and captains.

"This doesn't mean we are at good terms my nemesis, next time I will discover Naryu's secret!"

Grinning Link gave him a thumbs up. "That's the spirit!" Said Link excitedly

"Alright boys that's enough, you had your fun now it's time we left" said Nabooru hoping to get back home.

"Hmph..." Heading back inside his boat the two gerudo drove off into the sunset. "You look like you had fun today" noted Malon gazing at her husband's face.

"I sure did" grasping her hand link shared a passionate kiss with her "let's go home honey"

And so another adventure for our courageous hero had ended but this was only the beginning of a thrilling tale.
