The beginning of the end

SUMMARY ~ When the elemental nations are destroyed along with the people in it, Naruto and one other decide to take a trip to the past to save the ones they love from a mad Naruto once called his father.
Madara Uchiha. A man so powerful and degenerate that his name itself makes people tremble in fear. He is the man who destroyed the world along with everyone in it. All because I hesitated at the last second. You see, although Madara Uchiha was my enemy, what many people didn't know was that he was the man who taught me everything I know. He was the closest thing I had to a father. And because of this fact I hesitated and that cost me everything.
2 YEARS AGO ~
In the rain two figure dressed in battle armor standing face to face to each other, each standing on a statue of a warrior. "Why?" The voice came from a man who appeared to be in his late teens, he had waist long spiky crimson hair and had violet eyes. He was wearing the average ANBU outfit. This outfit consisted of a sleeveless black shirt that went up to the neck and a grey vest that went over it along with black pants that had ninja tape strapped over it's right leg and black shinobi sandals. He also wore black fingerless gloves and had grey arm guards. On his head was his village Hitai-ate(headband) that had a leaf symbol on it. Over his outfit he wore a long haori that was red with black flames on the bottom. In the middle of said cloak there were kanji's that read for Rokudaime (sixth hokage). "I SAID WHYYYY!" A figure clad in red samurai armor and waist long black spiky hair turned around. The man had a pure crimson eye with an odd pattern in his right eye socket while in his other was a purple eye with ripples surrounding its pupil. "Because Naruto, the world is a vile place needing to be cleansed. All I desire is world peace, a place children aren't raised to be soldiers and sent out to war." The now identified Naruto seethed in rage at his response, "BULLSHIT, putting people in an endless dream while you're out here ruling the world isn't peace!" Booming laughter was the response Naruto got for his outburst. "Yes so it seems, but that doesn't matter. What my goal is, is none of your concern, all that matters is if you have the power to stop me." Madara then pulls out his main weapon, a gunbai (battle fan) with a chain connected to the handle. The other side of the chain was connected to a long scythe made of chakra metal, the scythe had a pure black handle with a platinum blade. On the other side of the valley Naruto quickly un seals his weapon of choice. The Kubikiribōchō or better known as, The Executioner's Blade. With both ninjas ready, they both jumped off the statues into the valley of the end, a place destined to be a battle field for as long as it stands and charged at each other both having the same intention, to kill the other.
The battle was the fiercest battle to ever happen in ninja history. A battle that would have been known as the last stand of the fourth great shinobi war. If there was anyone left to remember it.
ONE YEAR AFTER THE FIGHT ~
It's been one year since Naruto Uzumaki fought Madara Uchiha and lost. That one year was all it took for Madara to wipe out ninety-nine percent of the shinobi forces. All that stood against Madara now we're five people.
Maito Gai a man dressed in a green tight jumpsuit and had a bowl cut hair style. He stood six feet and he was known as the green beast of Konohagakure. He was also recognized as the best taijutsu fighter in the history of shinobi.
The next one was a man who stood five foot eleven in regular konoha jonin attire, wearing black ANBU pants and black shinobi sandals, along with a tight long sleeve black shirt with a green vest over it. He was wearing a face mask that covered most of his face and has spiky white hair. Around his head he had his village's Hitai-ate covering his left eye. This man was known as Kakashi of the Sharingan. The man who copied over a thousand jutsu. He was also the sensei of team 7 which consisted of Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, and Naruto Uzumaki.
The next figure was a woman who stood five foot eight. She looked to be in her early thirties. She had ankle length red hair and green eyes. She had on a long blue dress and had silver ninja heels on. This was Mei Terumi the Godaime (fifth Mizukage). She was a powerful kunoichi known for her lava and boil release.
The fourth figure was a man who stood at five foot seven with spiky short red hair and light green eyes with no pupils. He wore a long sleeved red shirt and red baggy pants along with black shinobi sandals. Over his shirt he wore a green and grey vest and had a large gourd on his back. This man was Gaara of the desert and the Godaime (fifth Kazekage).He was the jinchūriki of the One-Tailed Shukaku but it was extracted from him by a group known as the Akatsuki.
The last figure stood at six foot four and had waist long spiky red hair. This was Naruto Uzumaki, the leader of the allied shinobi forces and the Rokudaime (sixth hokage). Not much has changed in Naruto's appearance besides his eyes. In his left socket stood a beautiful violet eye and in the other stood an intimidating crimson eye with the shape of a star with six points. This was the sharingan or more specifically this was his best friends sharingan. Sasuke Uchiha, he along with naruto fought for days against Madara Uchiha but in the end they weren't strong enough. During the last moments of the fight Madara unleashed a powerful fire jutsu that they knew they wouldn't survive from. So in the last second of desperation Sasuke ripped out his sharingan and gave it to Naruto and then used his rinnegan to teleport Naruto away from the battlefield leaving Sasuke to burn in the flames. But luckily the battle that took the life of his best friend weakened Madara. It wasn't a big difference but it gave Naruto enough of an advantage that he was able to extract the two tails Matatabi from Madara. You must be wondering how this happened, well it's quite simple really. The Uzumaki just did what the Uzumaki's do best. He made a seal.
FLASHBACK ~ 5 MONTHS LATER ~
It was a gloomy day, yet since this war happened everyday was the same. In an underground base we can see a man in his late teens in his office staring hard at a paper with a complex symbol on it. At this time a man walked in, he had raven black hair in a duck butt style. He wore a grey high collared shirt with a zipper that was zipped about half way up. He wore a navy blue and purple pair of paints with a large purple rope wrapped around it like a belt. He had black shinobi sandals and a long sword strapped to his waist. "Hey Naruto, what are you working on?" Naruto looked up from the paper and smiled a little bit "Hey Sasuke, I'm trying to make a seal that will allow me to enter Madara's mind and absorb a large amount of chakra. But I just can't seem to get it right, every time I try the seal that allows me to enter the mind overwrites the seal that absorbs chakra." Sasuke then looks down at the seal and starts to think. "Well I'm no seal master but can't you just separate the seals and apply them at the same time." "No it wouldn't work, if I'm as much as a millisecond off then it will fail. If the seal that absorbs the chakra reaches first it will take the chakra straight from Madara and if the seal that allows me to enter the mind gets there first I won't be able to attach the other seal and then I can't absorb any chakra." Sasuke sat down on a chair and turned to Naruto. "Why do you need to get chakra from Madara's mind when you could just absorb it from the outside?" "I'm trying to enter his mind to get to the tailed beasts, if I can get in and put the absorbing seal on one of them I could be able to extract one of the tailed beast and then Madara will have a big disadvantage." "What would happen if you do absorb the chakra? Where does it go, in the seal or you?" Naruto looked down at the paper and wondered if he should even bother to answer. But in the end he just sighed. "It will go into me and I'll become the jinchūriki of whatever tailed beast I can get to in time." Sasuke just stared at Naruto for a minute before deciding to talk. "You do know how dangerous this is right? Your chakra coils may be used to one tailed beast but not two. If you do this there's a possibility that your chakra coils will overload and explode, and kill you in the process." Naruto sighed once again. "I know Sasuke but we're getting nowhere in defeating Madara and if this works it could be the boost we need." Sasuke and Naruto sat in silence until Naruto shot out of his seat and shouted "I got it, I know what to do, I know how to make the seal work." Sasuke just chuckled and stood up. "Ok then I'll leave you to your work." With that said Sasuke stood up and walked out of the room leaving Naruto to finish his seal.
1 MONTH LATER ~
"FIRE STYLE - FIREBALL JUTSU." A large man dressed in red samurai armor yelled. A large fireball the size of a house raced towards two figures. The two figures dashed to the side dodging fire jutsu. "Dammit, how much longer Naruto." "Not much longer Sasuke, only a few more minutes." The now identified Naruto yelled back. Naruto then charges at the figure with a blue orb made completely of chakra in his palm. "RASENGAN" Naruto then hits the man with the RASENGAN but it does nothing. "Naruto, Madara is using the LIMBO, we can't continue fighting like this, we need to do this now." Naruto looks at Sasuke and nods. They both begin to charge at Madara and Sasuke began to speed threw hand signs " Vanish with the roar of the thunder, KIRIN." A large animal came from the sky, completely made from lightning and charged straight at Madara. Madara stares at the jutsu and scoffs. "Tch, how pitiful" Madara's eyes then begin to spin into a weird shape showing the he was now activating his eternal mongekyo sharingan. Madara then puts his hands in the ram sign and yells, "SUSANOO." A large dark blue figure that had two heads and four arms covered Madara. Sasuke's KIRIN then hits Madara's SUSANOO and a large amount of smoke surround's Madara and his SUSANOO making it barely visible to the human eye. Sasuke then uses his rinnegan to teleport inside Madara's SUSANOO and delivers a hard round house kick to Madara. Madara wasn't fast enough to move but was able to put both arms up to guard. He was able to diminish the attack to a certain extent but the force was enough to force Madara out of his SUSANOO. Allowing the large figure to disappear. Sasuke then takes a tri pronged kunai and throws it at Madara with great speed. Madara dodged the kunai while his eyes studied the kunai as it flew by his face. Madara then realized what type of kunai it is. "Shi-." Madara wasn't able to finish as a red flash appeared upon him and a force struck his chin. Madara then flew through the sky straight at Sasuke who was going thru hand signs. A form of lightning began to coat his hand while multiple small lightning bolts struck around his form. "RAIKIRI." Sasuke then hits Madara directly in the chest with his lightning encased hand, flinging Madara across the battlefield. Madara slowly stood up, wiping a bit of blood from his mouth. He looked up at Naruto, "Hmm I wasn't aware you knew the HIRAISHIN NO JUTSU(FLYING THUNDER GOD TECHNIQUE), no matter it won't help you defeat me." Naruto smirked "I wasn't trying to." Madara's eyes widened ever so slightly he turned around to see another Naruto scream "SEALING JUTSU: ADAMANTINE SEALING CHAINS" then five golden chains shot out of the other Naruto's back and wrapped around Madara holding him in place. Then the Naruto who wasn't holding down Madara, charged at him and slapped a paper with a complicated seal on his forehead and said, "SEALING JUTSU: MIND INFILTRATION" and then for both Naruto and Madara time stopped.
MADARA'S MIND ~
Naruto opened his eyes to see darkness. Not a source of light, not sliver of noise, only darkness. He began to wonder around until he came upon a light. When he got to the light he saw two doors and a long pathway. One door said memories while the other said secrets. Naruto, although tempted to search, had a job to do and continued down the path. If he had waited a while longer he would have seen a huge four legged creature with bright piercing eyes one green and one yellow sniffing the floor where he once stood.
Down the path Naruto crossed many doors and still not one sign of the tailed beasts. "Dammit where could they be!" Naruto yelled to himself. Naruto who was just about to give up saw a small bit of light coming from ahead of him. Naruto ran to the light and found eight doors each labeled one through eight. Naruto ran straight to the fourth door and opened it to see nothing. He searched around and still nothing. Naruto searched eight doors but still no sign of any tailed beasts. Naruto sighed and put his back to the wall and slid down. He stayed there for what felt like hours, feeling hopeless and finally gave up. He prepared himself to leave when he heard a small growl. He turned around and pulled out a kunai. He searched around and saw nothing when he heard the growl again but this time louder. He finally saw the source of the growling and what he saw gave Naruto his hope back. It was the two tailed hellcat Matatabi. The tailed beast slowly stalked towards Naruto like a lion preparing to pounce on its prey. She was just about ready to attack until she saw the face of the person she was ready to kill. "Naruto?" Naruto smiled and coated himself in Kurama's (the nine tails) chakra before rushing towards Matatabi and hugged the snout of the large cat.
After a long explanation to Matatabi about what has happened in the outside world, Naruto began to explain his plan to Matatabi hoping to get her consent. "So I was hoping I could get you and the other tailed beasts and seal you in me and get you guys out of here. I know you guys don't like to be sealed but it's the only way I can get you guys out of here and it's the only way I can save what's left of the world." Matatabi looked at Naruto and smiled. But the smile was full of pain and regret. "I don't know how to tell you this Naruto, but besides me and Kurama the tailed beasts are no more." "W-what. What do you mean no more!" "The others have been fully absorbed by Madara already, they no longer have a physical form nor a soul. As of now they're just part of Madara's chakra nothing more, nothing less." Naruto looked down at the floor and fell to his knees. "DAMMIT! I was too late again!" Naruto just sat there sobbing and punching the floor at the loss of yet more of his friends. About a half an hour of Naruto crying and Matatabi trying to comfort him he finally stood up. Naruto looked at Matatabi and asked her in a low voice, "Will you still help us, we would have a better chance with you on our side, and i'd rather not lose another friend." Matatabi smiled softly and rubbed her head on Naruto's arm. "Of course I will."
After the painful process of the sealing Naruto was finally ready to leave. "Alright let's do this Kurama, Matatabi." In Naruto's mindscape both tailed beasts smiled and nodded.
BACK OUTSIDE ~
Naruto opened his eyes to find himself in the same position he was in before. Naruto quickly ripped the seal off and jumped away from Madara. While Madara struggled to remove himself from the chains, Naruto fell to his knees and screamed. He had never felt so much pain. His chakra was adapting to Matatabi's and it felt like it was burning everything inside of him. Sasuke quickly rushed to Naruto to help his friend but due to the fact that Naruto couldn't control his chakra, his clone dispelled, freeing Madara from the chains. Madara quickly turned around and speed thru hand signs and breathed in, "FIRE STYLE: GREAT FIRE ANNIHILATION!" A huge wave of fire rushed towards Naruto and Sasuke. Sasuke looked at the jutsu wide-eyed, knowing it would kill the both of them if he did nothing. So quickly Sasuke rushed to Naruto and ripped out his sharingan and put it in Naruto's hand. Naruto looked up at Sasuke and screamed, "What are you doing! What are you thinking just ripping your eye out like that!" Sasuke just smiled softly, "Look Naruto, we both know we can't survive that, but you're the strongest of both of us, you have the best chance of saving what's left of the world. So it has to be you that survives, so take my eye and protect everyone." "B-but Sasu-" Naruto was cut off by Sasuke when he smiled softly and said," Relax Naruto, it's ok, this is what I want, besides I won't be completely gone, i'll be watching the world thru your eyes from now on." With that said Sasuke quickly used his rinnegan to teleport Naruto away, while he was burned alive.
Yo! I hope that this chapter was enjoyable, it's my first time writing a story so I apologize if my grammar sucks.
